The Little Shop Albee Square Reviews
We showed up around 7 on a Saturday so out fault the selection was low. But we still enjoyed seeing the amazing desserts and wanted one of everything. We got one of the salted caramel pretzel donut and a sticky milk loaf. I didn't want to eat my pretzel donut so I saved it for later and was not disappointed. Highly recommend. We came with siblings and spouses and everyone enjoyed the food they got. Highly recommend this place for yummy desserts!
This place is such a vibe. The place is set up nicely. I have tried so many of their pastes and I honestly haven’t had a bad one. All their pastries and drinks that I’ve tries is phenomenal. I love coming here when I drive up to Salt Lake. I wish we had a branch down here in Orem. I would recommend any of their croissant donuts! They’re my favorite. The owner and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is also very clean, especially for a busy store.
Great coffee! The sweets are very tasty & the staff is friendly and helpful. The cafe is very clean. The only negative is that they keep the air conditioning on too cold. Plan on wearing layers. It would make me very happy if they toned it down a bit, because I really enjoy going there for coffee and dessert after eat at Dave's Hot Chicken which is practically next door.
This place is very clean, classy, and stylish. They have some of the best pastries you’ll ever try! Key examples include the chocolate cream croissant (pictured) and the king cream donut. Extremely tasty and satisfying. The employees are always very kind and helpful as well! Plus their hot drinks are excellent and their cups are sturdy. It is well worth the drive 😃
If I could give Paris Baguette more stars, I so would! The atmosphere is so cozy and and servers in general are very polite and have great service. They make the coffee to perfection and I could go on and on about their pastries and their hot dog rolls. If anyone could get the chance to stop by Paris Baguette for a lunch or for the best cup of coffee, take that chance. It's so worth it!
I came in to try some cake for my daughter’s birthday. The owner, Su, was so friendly and sweet that after trying the cake I know I have to go with them! She made sure everything was perfect and we couldn’t be happier! The cake was light and just the right amount of sweetness- their blueberry yogurt is to die for!! If you’re shopping around for a special cake, make sure to stop by PB and they will take care of you! :) Thank you again!!
If you have not stopped at Paris Baguette run don’t walk! The interior is very welcoming staff is very friendly and very helpful as I was a new customer. I stopped by last minute to pick up a birthday cake they had everything needed with candles and server. I will be retuning 100 percent and telling friends and family! Great Job - Sue
This is a 10/10 for its category. I haven’t tried the tea and coffee, which I am a tough critic on, the pastry selection is second to none in the area. The decor in the restaurant does not disappoint making you feel transported to another time and place. Natural light, plenty of seating to enjoy the smells in the air. They have pre prepared sandwiches you can toast. Prices seem reasonable across the board.
We got: Mango Brioche, Garlic Croissants, Strawberry mochi donut, baguette, and mango smoothie. They were all very good. Total with a 20% tip came to $35 for two people. The baguette is the best I have ever had, and I am a big baguette fan. Staff was lovely, and the shelves with the food all looked very nice. It is pretty cold in there.
Paris Baguette opened up in my neighborhood, and it’s the best Korean bakery around! They’ve got tons of bread and pastry options, and the coffee is super tasty. My top picks are the New York cheesecake and the fruit tart — so good and fresh. As a Korean, I totally approve — it’s that good! The owner is really friendly too, which makes the place feel extra welcoming. The shop is super clean and cozy. Definitely my new go-to spot❤️
The staff was very friendly when we walked in. This place is kept clean and there are no tongs - you have to use a wax paper to grab the bread. It's kind of pricy, but it's a good quality pastry for Utah. There are a lot of seats and the atmosphere is good. You can also check out sandwiches and cakes. They sell drinks too.
I have been very disappointed in the pastry options we have in Utah, and have been in search of somewhere that sells more than donuts and muffins for ages! Paris has the best pastries I’ve had here, by far. My husband was blown away with the lemon crème filled donut and I love all things flaky pastry, which they have a lot of. I like the concept of picking out our own pastries from the display cases! Service on our coffees was fast and everything was delicious. The cakes are stunning and I plan on getting one for my husband’s birthday! The only knock on the place is that it isn’t a super cozy atmosphere, which I prefer to have in my coffee shops.
The visual representation of the products they have is amazing, that’s what caught my eye and made me want to try it out. I got a savory chicken pastry, a sausage roll and a Dubai chocolate tart. Honestly, it wasn’t anything wowing, it was good but nothing exceptional. The Dubai chocolate tart was good, it wasn’t too sweet actually which I liked, but $10 for it was a bit too much. Overall, it wasn’t too bad, maybe I will go there to try the other pastries because they all looked good.
What a fantastic place. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We met the manager and she was very nice and informative. I was sitting with my breakfast and developed a cough and without prompt brought me a small glass of water. The food was fantastic. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the person who made my wife's coffee didn't put any coffee in it. It is our fault we didn't realize until we got back to our hotel. 😄
Food is great, however the amount of people I saw reaching their bare hands into the pastry case was alarming. My only qualm is the lack of tongs or signs instructing people to use the deli paper hidden beneath the cases. Not sure if I’ll be returning due to the people reaching their hands into the pastry cases, picking pastries up and putting them back bare hands, customer touching their face then touching multiple pastries …. Just nasty. Hopefully they find a better system ! Everything else way great though, fantastic service.
The pastries here aren’t bad, but they taste how they are displayed… like they’ve been sitting in a case all day lol. However, they will heat it up for you which helps. The matcha is actually quite good! We tried the lavender matcha latte, regular matcha latte, and Dubai chocolate matcha latter—we all actually just preferred the regular matcha latte (the Dubai one was a bit too sweet)
