Charlotte's Bar & Restaurant

One of my favourite things to do when visiting my mum who lives near Albox is to have a fish and chips meal on a Friday at what was Chapman’s but is now Chatlotte’s and this Friday was no exception. We got there quite early at about 6.30pm and tables in the garden area outside were full so we went inside. We were given a choice of sitting in the room at the front where the bar is or the dining room at the rear. She chose the front room as it is much lighter and airier in there. The waitress, as friendly as ever, explained that they had been very busy and as such did not have the steak and ale pie,chilli nor scampi available. This was a shame for mum as she wanted the pie but plumped for the Hunter’s Chicken instead. I went for the large fish and chips with mushy peas. The food duly arrived and was as fantastic as always in good sized portions. Mum had no complaints. I’m already looking forward to my next visit when I next come over to Spain.

I was on my own, with a lot of time to kill. On a cold day, I walked into this welcoming bar which has different areas to sit in, including a garden. I thoroughly enjoyed an English breakfast and coffee for under a tenner. A lovely and courteous young member of staff waited on me professionally throughout.

We've been to Charlotte's Bar quite a few times when we are in Albox. Staff there even remember my sons love of BBQ sauce!!! Always friendly, always chatty. Nice amd chilled. Lovely food, good prices and always filling We will be back

We enjoyed every bite from the first to the last. Best fillet steak in a long-time. The staff were friendly and polite. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Overall we give it full marks

I had big breakfast (it also comes with mushrooms)which was delicious and filling, my father had fish and chips with salad and said he will go back there rather than his usual haunt for fish and chips. The hunters chicken my son had was enjoyed. Excellent value for money and superb attentive service without being over bearing.

Un buen sitio para disfrutar de las bebidas británicas, el ambiente es muy británico tb. Es un buen lugar donde practicar tu inglés. Camareros amables.

A nice place to sit on the terrace in the sun and have a bite to eat and a drink. The menu includes all the usual favourites like English breakfast, chilli con carne, battered sausage. Chips or rice. I had a well filled egg mayo and lettuce sandwich but the main dishes around me looked plentiful and well presented. The staff are pleasant. There is a smoking and non smoking area on the terrace for those who like that, somewhat unusual in a Spanish bar. The inside of the bar looked cosy and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable. All in all it is recommendable.
