At Frank's you can find tasty and surprising combinations that work wonderfully together. We ended up eating here twice because we liked it so much the first time. The 2nd time was to die for again! The staff is very friendly, relaxed and smiley! Highly recommended!!

We had a terrific evening at Frank’s while on holiday in Olhos de Agua. The wine list was incredible. We had bread, butter and olives to start and then I had the aubergine for main with the tomato salad and some hash brown fries to share. There were good options for vegetarians, with both vegetarian starters and mains available. This was without a doubt the best meal we had on our holiday. Frank’s is a beautiful little hidden gem tucked away on an unassuming side street and is a must-visit while visiting the gorgeous Olhos de Agua.

Had a fantastic meal here, food was absolutely superb! Wine lovely & very reasonably priced. Menu limited but what they do they do very very well. Only grip (&it's a small one) is that they don't do dessert for kids despite having a kids menu. We were told we could get our daughter ice cream from the shop next door though & she could eat it in the restaurant. Still it would be nice for kids to have a dessert option. Would deffo recommend & will defintely be back!

Enjoyed a lovely meal and cocktails at this new restaurant in Olhos D’Agua earlier this week. Loved the choice on the menu and the food was delicious. My partner had the prawns to start and the beef cheek burger which he really enjoyed and I had the tomato salad followed by Chicken Supreme with mashed potatoes (extremely tasty). Loved the vibe of the deck outside and the friendly service from the owner. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing evening, nothing to complain about! As only one person out of the family eats fish and meat, we were searching for an enjoyable place which also offers vegetarian dishes. This was the best choice we could’ve made. We had the octopus, the sea-bream and the cauliflower fritters all of which we’re just amazing. To end of our meal we also enjoyed the cheesecake which was greatly enjoyed by all of us. All in all a great experience and the amazing staff made it even more enjoyable. I can only recommend !!

Local precioso, con encanto y con trabajadores encantadores y profesionales como pocos hay. El cocinero es una joya, esperábamos a alguien con muchos años de cocina por la calidad de los sabores, los guisos y el trato al producto y resultó ser un chico encantador que irradiaba amor por su comida por cada poro. Y esa fue nuestra experiencia. Una noche llena de sabor, en un rinconcito precioso, decorado con un gusto delicado, juvenil y acogedor. Ya se lo hemos recomendado a toda nuestra familia. Este restaurante es el perfecto ejemplo de que en los pequeños detalles están las grandes diferencias. Mi mas absoluta felicitación por vuestro trabajo, y millones de gracias por dar os una noche preciosa. Volveremos segurísimo aunque solo sea a comer vuestros platos.

Absoluter Geheimtipp!! Ich gehe wirklich oft in Restaurants und habe eigentlich immer zumindest kleine Kritikpunkte. Bei Frank's Restaurant ist das nicht so. Das Essen, die Getränke und der Service waren alle hervorragend. Wir hatten einfach eine großartige Zeit und würden herzlich und köstlich umsorgt. Und selbst die Preise sind für die Qualität und die Tatsache, dass alle Speisen vollständig vor Ort zubereitet werden (auch das Brot wird vor Ort gebacken) absolut unglaublich. Wer hier nicht hingeht, verpasst etwas ;-)

I went to Frank’s on Friday and I had to go back on Saturday because the food was awesome and staff so kind and the place is just lovely. I totally recommend the octopus, I had for starter and it’s a flavours explosion, so many flavours and you can feel every one of them. For main I recommend the pork belly, really tasty with nice combinations on the side. I really enjoyed all the dishes I tried but this 2 was the winners for me.

Verborgen pareltje in deze wijk. Als je hier in de buurt bent is het zeker aan aanrader om hier te gaan eten. Mooie creatieve gerechten. Toffe specials naast de kaart. Hele mooie wijn spijs combinaties. De eigenaren zijn vol passie. Top bediening Dank jullie wel voor een avond heerlijk eten en drinken. Gastvrijheid staat hier hoog in het vaandel.

The best meal - by! Far! - that we’ve had during our time in Albufeira. The food rivaled any of the best we’ve had in our home town of Toronto. From the cocktails to the apps, the entrees to the desserts, every morsel was swoon-worthy. One member of our party said it was ‘the best food he’s had in his entire life’ - the rest of us were hard-pressed to disagree! Also the owners/chefs/wait staff are the nicest people! Please do yourselves a favour and make this a stop on your itinerary while in Albufeira - it’s absolutely unbeatable.

Hey sports fans ......here we are with you once again. We've traveled to the beautiful part of the Algarve about 15km outside of Albufeira to our favorite local restaurant Franks. A hidden gem. A little hidden but well worth the effort to seek it out. As usual, the staff are exceptionally polite, knowledgeable and after a busy and hectic day it's an oasis of calm as soon as you step through the door. The restaurant is running it's summer menu. Please see photograph attached. It's concise but perfectly formed, from the home made bread and butter through to the mains which vary from Irish stews to pan fried bass and cauliflower fritters. The simplicity belies the depth and balance of flavour. I would highly recommend this place as this is our fourth visit here and every time the consistent quality is something to be envied by all other restaurants in the local area. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We capped off our meal with a selection of desserts, which, although not as refined as the main courses, were still undeniably delicious. While the mains stole the show, the desserts provided a sweet ending to our dining experience. One notable aspect worth mentioning is that Franks goes above and beyond to accommodate families with children. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant was kid-friendly and even had diapers available for those unexpected moments when parents might find themselves caught off guard with their little ones. Are great wee find here, tucked away behind a sports court, off the beaten track, so have a search and seek it out. Franks certainly has a different menu from the other resteraunts in the area, serving up more gastro food, rather than the usual traditional dishes or european dishes. Not bad on cost either. Give this one a go you won't be disappointed.
