Highly recommended! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered half a portion of croquettes (very creamy), some lamb chops (exquisite), and a Wagyu burger (super juicy). We wanted to have dessert, but we were already out of room! 🤣 If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop for lunch!

The food was excellent. We ordered a platter of Iberian cured meats as a starter, which was superb, and then the rice with lobster as a main course—it was fantastic! I highly recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back. It's not our first time eating at the restaurant, and we've always been very happy with everything. Mesón Castellano is a must-visit in Maqueda. I've been stopping there for a drink and their traditional "marianitos" (a type of pastry) my whole life, and this weekend we finally made a reservation for lunch. The place is spacious and clean, and the service and food were both spectacular. I highly recommend the suckling pig, the fried suckling pig, and the shoulder of lamb. Their stews and soups are also excellent. 100% recommended.

Highly recommended spot if you're driving, and even if you're not! I stopped because it was perfect for me and it was a total success! The service was top-notch, they have daily menus and an à la carte menu! I chose the confit artichokes (you can order half portions) and for my main course, a delicious braised beef cheek! I'd give both dishes a 10/10! The artichokes were even more amazing!! A big kiss to all the staff and cooks, if I'm ever in town I'll definitely stop again!! Oh, and at the end they offer you some great shots 🫶

The food was very good, all three dishes we ordered. The Castilian soup was delicious. The suckling pig was delicious and mild (it often has an intense flavor that I personally don't like). The oxtail with foie gras was excellent. The service was also very good.
