I've been coming to this bar for 5 years now, and from my personal experience, I have nothing but good things to say. The prices are more than reasonable, and the staff are fantastic. It's also one of the few bars where you can have dinner just by ordering a beer, as they give you extremely generous tapas. In short, a highly recommended bar.

I ordered a pork loin sandwich with cheese; it was huge and delicious. While I was eating, they offered me empanadas, San Jacobo, cheese... and all for 11 euros. Be prepared to get a seat, though; it's always packed, both inside and out.

It's a neighborhood bar ideal for students and those who love tapas. They have XXL-sized sandwiches that are definitely worth trying. There's a wide variety of tapas, and with your drink, you get generous portions, especially the homemade meatballs with potatoes. Highly recommended. They also have several tables downstairs for events.

A very popular spot thanks to its location, generous portions, and the excellent service of its owner, Dhilo. They have a daily set menu where you absolutely must try the superb Fabada (Asturian bean stew) and the huevos rotos (broken eggs). Unlike many other places, the menu price doesn't change on weekends. Highly recommended, always packed, especially with hungry students...

We went for breakfast and it was a pleasant experience. The service was very friendly and the food delicious. We ordered avocado, tomato, and ham toast; delicious and large. We also ordered some huge tortilla sandwiches to take away. Everything was great and cheap.

Came here for a few drinks after our typical bars were full. We had 4 glasses of wine and 4 cañas and the bill came out to 17 euros. As tapas with our drinks we received tortilla de patata, eggs with jamon and fries and tuna and tomato empanadillas. If they are going to offer generous tapas like those with our drinks, there is no doubt, we will return. The waiter treated us very well and made sure we had another tapa when the group that had reserved our table came and we had to move inside. This is a typical no frills but friendly and humble neighborhood bar.

We went to the Red Cross and they recommended we eat there. The quality-price ratio was quite good, at €11.95 as you can see in the photos. As an appetizer, they served us potatoes with eggs and sausages, and to drink, wine and soda. For our first course, we had breaded eggplant and breaded mushrooms, a generous portion and very crispy. For our second course, we had cachopo (a breaded and stuffed veal cutlet) and grilled pork loin, also very good in terms of both portion size and cooking quality. For dessert, we had cheesecake. I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area.

This bar is known for its hearty tapas that accompany the drinks. So far, so good... Delicious and generous portions at a good price. However, the waiter offered us a free tapa of ham that was supposed to be Serrano (??), with a dubious appearance. After inspecting it and deciding not to eat it, the man returned a while later, collected the plate, and placed it on the table next to us. I wonder if the slices of bread that accompanied the bravas were the same bread that had been on the other table minutes before. Too much recycling, poor hygiene.

Possibly the worst place I've ever eaten (and I did my military service there). Simply awful. The food was terrible. We ordered torrezno (any resemblance to torrezno from Soria is purely coincidental. Pure grease), honey-glazed eggplant (passable), and tempura vegetables (simply fried batter, and bad batter at that). And it was expensive. Of course, considering what we ate.

€8 for the bacon and cheese sandwich... that's enough. On top of that, it's hard to get the receipt... I don't know if it's because I was being so annoying about being on the go. But I order a sandwich and add John... anyway, long live the trick and the deception.
