Fish on Tap Alhambra Reviews
This place is absolutely amazing! I get the hype regarding boiling crab but I swear this place...is low-key better in many ways
Very nice, clean and confortable atmosphere‘s sea food restaurant, the lobster noddles are big and very tasty, the sushis are very nice too! I really enjoy it today as well as The Father Day at Jumpin‘ Lobster.
First time here delicious food 😋 great service definitely will be back.. really recommended 👌
We have a great time. There was sixteen of us!!!!!
AMAZING FOOD BETTER THAN BOILING CRAB 100% I RECOMEND THIS PLACE
The price is amazing for the quality food, top notch service and atmosphere
Outstanding lobster and crab boils!
The lobster roll was very delicious
Underrated
Great place to eat
If you’re looking for a great seafood spot in Alhambra, I highly recommend The Jumpin’ Lobster. The food here is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The butterfly shrimp are perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Their egg rolls are also a standout, packed with flavor and cooked just right. But the real highlight is the crawfish and shrimp boil. It’s incredibly tasty and seasoned so well that it brings back memories of the bayou with every bite. I also want to give a special shoutout to Wendy, our server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, this place delivers great food and a satisfying experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving quality seafood.
Stop waiting in line in boiling crab. The seafood boil here has a lot better value and REALLY tasty!! Their family combo is soooo worth it! We ordered the snow crab legs and these are the biggest and most fresh crab legs I’ve had in restaurants. So so so good!!! Highly recommend their shrimp and mussel as well. You can taste the freshness! Also they are very generous with their sides- huge sweet corn, sausages, 3 boil eggs and potatos. I will definitely come back again!!
Really great place I came here during their opening week with my husband and we continue to come . The prices are okay . They use to have a sushi bar but it wasn’t successful so they closed that down. There is parking behind the restaurant and close parking lots near by , free as well . All the staff at this point have been nothing but wonderful
Loved this spot! Dined here because Boiling Crab across the street was busy and we were so glad we did! Their everything mixed sauce was so good, and the sausages were so tasty. A great healthy option they have is steamed veggies. My friend said Jumpin’ Lobster was even better than Boiling Crab, and cheaper. My friend also had the chicken & rice dish, and said it was really good. Will definitely be back!
Great food and attentive service. The Cajun boil flavor is tasty and more lime forward than other places. Their max spicy level is close to a medium if you have a high tolerance. Definitely worth a try!
I’m so glad I came here after waiting in line for boiling crab. I decided to give this place a shot and oh my God it was worth every dollar . the food was flavorful. The potatoes were cooked thoroughly. The corn was deliciously seasoned and the snow crab king legs were huge. I will definitely be coming back from more.. lemon pepper was delicious.
Food was good. The mild sauce was very tasteful!! The medium sauce has a nice a little kick to it. Definitely will be coming back soon. Can’t beat their family package of $43!!!!
Flavorful, the crawfish were big and the mussels too, tasty sausages, not very saucy but you can buy more. The michelada was spicy which i loved but a little small. The servers were so nice
Amazing! 💕💕😮💨🤌🏽

Well served. Good price. They also have random plates that are surprisingly good that are different from the seafood stuff (Teriyaki chicken plate, grilled salmon etc). I especially recommend the Cajun fried rice.
We tried this place on a whim and it was the greatest decision we made. We ordered the family pack with all shrimp and it was so delicious and fresh. The food came out quick and hot. The taste was a mild Cajun. I will be trying medium next because I could've had more spice. I started low because the husband can't handle as much spice. A lot of food for a great price. The customer service is above and beyond with a super friendly attitude. Very welcoming from the moment you step in. You will not be disappointed and on top of that they have sports on the tvs on the wall. We were able to catch the Dodger game which we were very excited about as well. Give this place a try you won't regret it!
Best seafood boil location I’ve been to. Food quality is very good. Venue decoration is absolutely inviting and modern.wait time is non-existing. Not at all like my experience at the boiling crab (having to wait 3 hr for a table). Thank you for the delightful experience.
The staff were very friendly and checked up on us quite often to make sure everything was to our liking. Food was well priced and was served relatively quick. We ordered a family size boil with some sushi rolls and they were all delicious. Would definitely come again!
This place was AMAZING. Better than Boiling Crab by far. I went to Boiling Crab and they had a 2 hour wait. I was so relieved when I walked into the spot, and they had a table ready for me. Also, they have SUSHI, good music, sports playing, etc. 10/10, will be coming back. Also, the special sauce here was more flavorful by far!
Guys this is right across from the Boiling Crab, SKIP THE WAIT and crossover to JUMPIN LOBSTER!🦞 🦐 Absolutely delicious!! I say this is definitely a 10/10. I enjoyed devouring their shrimp with “The Boom” sauce & crab legs with “The Original” sauce. By far the best cajun seafood spot I’ve tried. It was so flavorful, not greasy and perfectly seasoned. My cravings were satisfied. I’ve been going to Boiling Crab for many years now and they have NOTHING on Jumpin Lobster. Boiling crab has you waiting 2hrs, slow service, slow to bring out food & very greasy. Nothing compared to the flavors of love. The service at Jumpin lobster was amazing! The ladies were so attentive and on top of making sure we had everything we needed. We ordered food, then my man went to wash his hands and I followed right after. By the time I came out from the restroom my food was already on the table: Hot & Ready! This was the first time I had ever seen my man eat messy ! He doesn’t EVER get messy when eating and to see sauce all around his mouth really proved to me that this restaurant knows exactly what they’re doing! Thank you for this 🫶🏽 I love their decorations, beautiful entry way, beautiful dining area and beautiful restrooms. I truly can say I won’t be going back to boiling crab. My loyalty stands with Jumpin Lobster, you definitely have a customer for as long as you serve.
ank you so much for making my mom’s birthday so special. The place was inviting, clean, and the service was amazing. The food was truly the best.
At their second spot, Jumping Lobster keeps it consistent, plenty of sweet lobster in every roll and a velvety lobster pasta that hits the spot. The atmosphere here is even more inviting, with a breezy, coastal-chic vibe and attentive staff. I will be back very soon.
There is a wide variety of food selections, the service is friendly and prompt, and the prices are very reasonable.

Not as flavorful as boiling crab, but better value and not much of a wait. Seemed more like steamed seafood with the sauce tossed on top.
I like almost everything, food is good, tasty and has more options especially that my family loves seafood but my son has ASD and it is not his thing and with this kind of place they always just have either fried chicken or, fish and chips, but jumping lobster offers more like steak and tilapia which is good, the price is also way cheaper , very good for the budget. The ONLY concern is the tables are small for 4-6 people, the tables already has the napkin holder and condiments and if you place the food , table gets pretty crowded, my drink fell on my food because i doesn’t have enough room to move freely . And no matter how good the food is if it is not that comfortable, it affects the dining experience as a whole, next time if you have 6 persons, join 2 tables together don’t try to squeeze us all in one table
I had the grilled salmon and it was very good, and the portions were good. The service was very good and attentive. The restaurant was a little loud with TVs playing loud music at the bar, and the tables had a smell to them that made me think they needed a deeper cleaning, but it was fine.
My wife and I have been wanting to experience this new establishment for a while now, we got seat ordered our drinks then decided to order our food. We both went for the AYCE deal $39.99 per person, you get your choice of three protein, sauce and starch or vegetable orders placed. We noticed each order comes with a complimentary snow crab leg, awesome right! Server comes back and recommends the family pack combining both orders, we thought ok let’s do it and he comes back with our orders. No crabs legs and missing the other 3 items, we caught on and spoke to the server and he acknowledged we were correct and that the owner always makes home sell the family pack leaving customers ripped off. So DONT GET THE FAMILY PACK IT COST THE SAME AND YOU WONT RECEIVE THE 2 CRABS LEGS AND WILL ONLY GET ONE VERSUS WHAT THE MENU SAYS!
The waitress seems untrained and did not know her menu well. We asked about the nigiri and sashimi because the menu was not clear about the quantity. The menu only had the quantity listed next to the sashimi option which seems misleading... She stated the nigiri was 6 pcs per order so we ordered that. Turns out it was TWO. Safe to say we were annoyed about that. We asked her roughly the size of the crawfish because I don't like them on the smaller side, she said she didnt know. Couldn't even give a guess. Asked about the size of oysters and type. She didnt know and didnt offer to go ask. The clams were very small, not worth ordering. The sauce options were confusing because they had original Cajun, lemon pepper, Sichuan mala, garlic butter, and the boom (mix them all)... I don't like mala so I asked if I can try a little of The Boom because I typically like mixing all the sauces together. She said no. I said okay, but then she said original Cajun has all the sauces added together minus Sichuan mala. So why call it original Cajun?

Food itself was great and service was fine! The reason for the low review is due to the use of AI art on the side wall of the restaurant. There's 4 giant bright signs hung up, specifically of the shark and crawfish holding a beer, that are hard to miss and very clearly AI was used to make the art. If this franchise is willing to spend the money to make them into 5ft glowing signs, why not just spend a bit more to have an actual artist make them? My first thought seeing it was, "What else could they be cutting corners on?" Really disappointing first impression.
