Naan bread is always fresh made! Tika masala rocks! The paneer is tasty. Ask for the Lunch Box to go only special! They serve water in metal cups which keeps cold.

Weekend lunch buffet was very good. 5 vegetarian options (4 of them vegan). The Aloo Vindaloo, Chana Masala. Dal Tarka, and Saag were especially good. The Vegan Thali is very tasty!

We had the lunch buffet before and enjoyed it so much that we decided to order takeout for dinner as well. We were happy to find that there was a dinner menu option that allowed us to try a variety of dishes all at once, similar to the buffet style. We ordered two versions — one Queen Non-Veg menu and one Vegetarian menu. The manager was extremely kind and explained everything clearly over the phone. The food was delicious, and we truly had a wonderful experience. Thank you for the great service and such an enjoyable meal.

A nice place for vegan or vegetarian people. Although they have elaborated menu for non-vegetarian. Food is very delicious and priced right for the quality and quantity being served. Owner is very pleasant and customized food for vegetarian needs. Pumpkin Curry is amazing which you will not find in any other Indian restaurants. I again recently visited the restaurant and found that they have a new chef. So tried typical Indian dishes like Veg. Biryani and Indo-Chinese fusion Gobhi Manchurian along with other regular food. Everything was delicious and up to the mark.

There food is so delicious. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and it never disappoints. The food is full of flavor. If you have a hard time choosing what to eat come during lunch hour. They have a buffet with a great selection.

Great food, great ambience and great service. We ordered tandoori and naan, both were delicious and fresh. Everything is made in the house which is awesome. The mango lassi was pretty good and they were able to make it vegan for us! The eggplant dish was pretty tasty and well seasoned and the vegetable samosas had a great presentation and tasted pretty good. Overall an amazing experience with super nice and friendly servers. Nice lunch special, no more buffet though. :):

Pretty good takeout option if you’re craving Indian food in the area. The samosas are crispy on the outside and soft/boldly flavored on the inside. Their homemade mango lassi is fantastic, rich yogurt base with a fruity blend. Naan is fluffy and fresh, and the curry is well flavored with tender meat. Curry doesn’t include rice like most places I’ve found nearby, and the prices of each item does add up—it’s not a cheap meal especially if you’re dining in for dinner. But overall would recommend and come back.

We returned to Mahan Indian Restaurant after a few years because we were in the area. The service was great... readily available to refill drinks, take our order, serve us, and bring to-go containers. We ate Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, Rice, and Naan. Everything was so fresh and tasty! If we are in the area again, we would come back.

Everything about this place is great. Food is too good and authentic. I love to go there for special occasions with my family. The owners here are wonderful and make everyone feel at home. People should try it at least once - believe me you will find yourself frequenting it regularly. 😀

We ordered below list of things 1. Tandoori roti 2. Garlic Naan 3. Yellow dal 4. Shahi paneer 5. Gulab Jamin 6. Butter chicken The owner or the hotel manager was really nice and greeted us really well. The food tasted pleasingly well. The gravy of Shahi paneer and butter chicken were almost same and could have been a little more indian taste like but overall the service was really good. We also had ordered indian tea but it did not arrive until the end of dinner so the cashier crossed it off from our check.. Overall good taste and great ambience

Owner is friendly, service is acceptable. There were only 3 tables filled and we still had to wait a while to get our order taken. They have a lot of pick up/to go orders and I guess only one person handles both that and waiting our table. We also had to ask for water each time. Once again, with 3 tables, it's not ideal I'd have to ask for water each time I needed it. On to the food. Portion size is more generous than what I'm used to. The chicken Tikka masala was amazing. Chicken was very tender, sauce was delicious and flavorful, and it was very fresh. Lamb vindaloo was prepared spicy, and it was on the verge of being too spicy, but that's how I ordered it. I handle heat well, and this was at my limit before I start tasting only heat and not the flavors. The tomato, potato, and lamb were all tender, sauce has good flavor, and on the basmati rice it was comfort food for sure. On the side we also ordered paneer naan and garlic naan. The paneer naan might be the softest naan ive ever had. It was steaming fresh, doughy but firm, and a great dipping vehicle for the Tikka masala sauce and meats. The garlic naan was also delicious and fresh, a little thinner, and a little crisp on the edges. Also perfect. All in all, definite repeat, definitely will try the other items or get all the same ones again. Great food, Service could be improved. Sadly 4 stars. If service was better, 5 stars easy.

Great food and it seems like a nice family run business. But... lately it seems they have been skimping on the chutney and raita. Maybe due to the inflation we are experiencing today in 2022. Unfortunately, the raita seems watered down. I've had to ask for more chutney because they only give you one small container with tamarind and one for the green, even after spending over $120 on different dishes. That is all. If you go, you'll enjoy it. But for me, I need ma chutney and raita.

Ordered via ubereats. Honestly it tastes so mid and bland. I’ve tried way better Indian food for less in Alhambra. Not a fan :(

My sister chose this place. Nice and spacious, attentive because we were the only people there on a Tuesday night. AND it was expensive for what you get. A bowl of anything with mostly liquid. Where’s the meat! And the lamb dish was dry as hell. Probably best to go during lunch buffet.
