P & G Super Burgers Alhambra Reviews
Got me a sourdough bacon avocado chicken sandwich! This place is always a good spot.
Just stop by for a chicken salad excellent as always owners there running the place two cooks on the line working hard to put out the many orders gods blessed this restaurant with customers hamburgers are the best with grilled onions chili cheese burger everything here good pastrami steak sandwiche best out there zucchini onion rings excellent asada burrito this is the spot for comfort food at its best a must try for people who love good food
Old school feel with way better value than most fast food chains. I usually get the bacon breakfast burrito, which has a generous amount of meat and cheese. I tried their regular cheeseburger - it's a pretty standard diner burger, but very good portion size for the ~$6 price. It's not the fanciest, but am glad to support a local place that keeps prices reasonable.
Best burger, just what I wanted for days now. Sesame buns, toasted. Hot off the grill beef patties, super crunchy fries, hot, perfectly salted and fresh. No drive thru, so all the food is fresh and made to order. Tastes fantastic. Come get your burger and fry fix here. Trust me... I got the pansita to prove it 👍🏽 Oh also, music is always spot on, for my new wave, older chill metal heads that like JackFM😅
Always on the hunt for traditional 'Mom & Pop' burger spots like this one. This place has a wide variety of food items and even serves breakfast all day. Big dining area with tables or booth seating options. Restrooms located in the back. There's a kid-friendly 'claw machine' on the way to the restrooms. Ordered the avocado bacon cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and a horchata. The bacon 🥓 was thick/juicy with burnt ends which really complemented the rest of the burger well. Chili cheese fries were seasoned perfectly and weren't salty or spicy which is a definite plus in my book since I'm not big on 'spicy' chili. The horchata was good and didn't taste watered down but did have a strong cinnamon flavor. For it being close to closing time, the food really tasted fresh and was immediately made to order. Excited to try their breakfast menu next time.
I Grew up with P&G from the 80s-90s. The pastrami sandwich was as good as from back when. The onion rings were cooked perfectly and not greasy. Note, the large onion rings is LARGE. Could fees 4. My wife's cheeseburger was on point. I know it has changed hands in the past, but still a must stop. Atmosphere is old school diner.
It was my first time being there and loved their menudo! The surrounding might not be ideal but do not judge the book by its cover. I will go back for more menudo, and maybe try pastrami one day! Updated: 3/2/2019 This is like the 5th time I've had their menudo and it has been my favorite place for menudo when I'm craving it.
For being a fast food restaurant, this place was pretty good. Clean restaurants and nice customer service. The burgers are pretty good and the BLT’s with avocado are delicious. Oh and my favorite, the zucchini fries! The only thing I didn’t like was the pastrami sandwich, it use to be good but nowadays it’s very greasy and having a few bites upset my stomach so had to stop eating it. Other than that it’s a pretty good place to order fast food.
P and G had improved greatly over the last few years. Their hash browns used to be hard and sticky but are now fresh and well cooked. The toast has also improved and the bacon is top notch. They do not provide sugar free syrup so I bring my own. All omelettes are tasty and plentiful. Some items such as biscuits and gravy, corn beef hash, waffles, or chicken fried steak are not served here, but everything on the breakfast menu is top notch. What surprised me a bit this morning was the server's disturbed reaction to my having to small butter cups on my table. She said that two butters was too much. I told them that next time,I will bring one of my butters from home and only take one of theres. They agreed to this.
Inconsistent with the food prices depending on which cashier you get. Cheese for eggs not so great quality. Eggs are at times overcooked. Other than this. Fairly price and good food. Taco salad is good. Ample parking.
Honestly, it was better pricing and portions with the original owners. It was a locals place for sure however, when the original family sold it, the prices went up considerably and portions/quality started to decrease. I understand a business needs to make money and a lot of businesses have increased their prices but I do miss the original. The original pastrami sandwich was amazing, now it’s just ok with half the size. It’s not bad food but be prepared to spend some money for a family.
Went in to grab dinner for the family ( 7-15) 3pm) and the senora that was working the register was completely rude, she lacks customer service etiquette. Seems like I interrupted her shift by coming in to order food. Last time I'll be giving this location my hard earned cash. Avoid this place if possible.
Go up to tams This burger was really dry. And we tried the special. The western. Wasn't good.... I love me a char broiled burger. This was meh. And the lady at the counter just seemed really bothered that we would ask her for little things. You are the cashier lady. You do not have to be rude!!! pretty disappointed. Won't recommend :(
Cashier is rude and doesn’t have good customer service to all races. Food is alright. Got a breakfast burrito and it barely had meat. If you want mostly potato in yours, come here. My brother got the avocado burger and the lady didn’t even know how to charge it correctly. Added a special charge for what?! Supposedly added ranch but put green sauce in the bag instead. Never coming here again.
