Amazing Thai food in Cambridge! Boston 😍 I visited this restaurant with my sister, and we had such a wonderful meal. The food was delicious, full of Thai flavors, and everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. Great Chef , Great owner. We ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and stir-fried Chinese Broccoli with crispy pork (Kana Moo Krob) — both were absolutely amazing. The Pad Thai was flavorful and not too sweet, and the crispy pork was truly crispy and paired so well with the kale. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the overall atmosphere was simple and comfortable. It really felt like a hidden gem for Thai food lovers. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Thai dishes in the area. We will definitely come back again. I LOve Thai Food 🥘😍🇹🇭🙏

Terrific Thai food! Bit spicy so make sure you indicate how spicy you want the food to be. Very attentive service. Sushi is only for delivery.

The food was great here. I brought my daughter here and we had Drunken Noodle, yellow curry with pineapple, and a traditional dish with pork sausage. Plus Thai Iced teas. Everything was delicious. I wish I had learned about this sooner. We will be back.

Pai Kin Kao is a small casual restaurant in Cambridge that serves up some authentic Thai dishes. First time I stepped in, the restaurant was completely empty and silent. However, shortly after I placed an order, I started hearing one of my favorite sounds in the kitchen come to life. The breath of the wok and the sizzling dance of ingredients dancing within. It sounded like a jet engine firing up and it wasn’t muffled as the kitchen literally was right there behind the stainless steel counter where the menu boards are (and not in another room). I love that sound so much as someone in the culinary profession who can tell when and what different ingredients are added to complete the one dish being ordered. As expected, my order didn’t take long to arrive in my table. Less than 5 minutes from start to finish…and here I was looking at a beautiful dish steaming hot right in front of me. Did I mention just how amazing it smells? (Fast forward…many visits later…ordering the same few dishes and then some.) They are very consistent. Something that I truly appreciate as that’s one of the more important things in the culinary world. Either you’re consistently good…or consistently bad. None of the bi-polar quality issues here. They’re just consistently good in what they do. For that alone, they are truly deserving of 5 stars and come highly recommended as a small casual authentic Thai eatery.

Delicious food, great price, fast friendly service. Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, seated immediately, had food within 10 minutes. Nothing fancy but really hits the spot!

I had the pleasure of dining at Pai Kin Kao Thai Restaurant and tried the Tonkatsu Ramen, Thai Dry Noodle, and Kao Moo Daeng. The Tonkatsu Ramen was rich and flavorful, with a yummy broth. The Thai Dry Noodle was a standout – expertly seasoned and packed with authentic Thai flavors. The Kao Moo Daeng was another highlight, featuring perfectly cooked pork and a deliciously savory sauce. Overall, the dishes were well-prepared, and the presentation was fantastic. Highly recommend this place for a taste of Thai cuisine with a variety of options!

“The Best Thai Food in the Area!” We highly recommend their Khao Moo Dang (red pork with rice), Guay Tiew Haeng (dry noodles), and even their Tonkotsu Ramen! The dishes are flavorful, perfectly prepared, and offer a delightful mix of Thai and Japanese influences. The staff are incredibly nice and attentive, adding to the overall great dining experience. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this gem!

Don't be deceived! This charming little place packs a wallop for the taste buds! By far the tastiest thai pork i've had in a while. In my mind. I could picture the flavor that I wanted when I looked at the menu and saw barbecue pork. And boy was I wrong - My brain couldn't have imagined something so tasty! It was the perfect balance between sweet spicy and savory. The decor is very homestyle, With cultural decorations and a half obscured view of the kitchen. To that end, I would say the service paired with a decor because I felt right at home. I one hundred percent will we going back. Most likely right after I write this review :)

Pai Kin Kao is the perfect neighborhood Thai place. The service is great and surprisingly quick, the food is fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. Don’t sleep on the wonderfully sweet Thai iced tea, the crispy scallion pancake with tamarind dipping sauce, or the spicy and creamy khao soi, which I recommend getting with fried tofu.

Great food! Enjoyed most every dish. The tofu larb made tofu taste the best ever! Pad see ew and kee Mao were great. Comment re the street food noodles was there were not enough noodles. Otherwise very happy here

Went here for a late lunch. Food was very good. I especially enjoyed the Chicken Green Curry Ramen. I don't eat pork so often ramen is not something I order – but this was creative and delicious. The service was very good, and kind. Restaurant is a bit snug with an open kitchen. The window counter seating was very nice. Tables might not be as comfortable. Also, not calling anyone a liar, but three recent reviews all posted around the same time, from reviewers with few reviews, all giving low ratings and each commenting on bland/gross taste and finding hair in their food.... Makes me question the veracity of these reviews. I'll come back. Give it a try!

The best item on the menu is Khao Moo Daeng(rice with roasted red pork). The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and served very quickly. The portions are very generous and you can upgrade to a large size for only $2-3 extra. I will definitely be back again very soon.

I stopped by this Thai restaurant in Cambridge, MA for a quick dinner. The ambiance was fairly standard—nothing particularly memorable. I ordered the red curry chicken with rice, and the food arrived impressively fast. The portion size was just right, and the curry was served piping hot—exactly how I like it. That said, the curry sauce lacked richness. It was a bit too watery, and it seemed light on coconut milk, which left it feeling thin rather than full-bodied. Flavor-wise, it was decent, but didn’t quite hit the mark. One downside was the the way green beans were cooked in the curry. There were plenty, but they were undercooked and overly crunchy, which threw off the texture of the dish. That detail alone kept this meal from earning five stars. On a brighter note, the service was excellent—attentive and friendly throughout.

This restaurant appears to be an extension of a home, which is pretty cool. There's limited seating but it wasn't crowded when we stopped by for lunch on Sunday. I ordered the Pad See Ew with a medium level of spice and it was pretty solid! I've tried a handful of thai restaurants in boston is this is one of the better ones I've had. Would recommend!

I enjoyed many of their catering items especially the beef krapow and paid see ew. The pad thai was aldo very good. There is seasoned fried rice. There are many protein options. You can also get Japanese options here.

I ordered takeout for the first time The food tasted great but my beef curry was very light Pictured you can see the beef curry I ordered. The beef curry part of the meal was a pretty small portion and I was disappointed as it tasted fantastic. I probably won't be ordering takeout in the future but I may try dining in to see if portions are better

I had the Guay Tio Haag (Thai street foods). It was delicious! Had a lot of flavor. My daughter had the Tonkotsu ramen which she enjoyed. My mom had the green curry. She didn't really like the green curry because it didn't have enough flavor. My husband had the Pad Thai, which he didn't enjoy in comparison to other pad Thai dishes he's had elsewhere. However, I would return for the dish I had.

Decent Thai food but not the best in town. Picked up the black pepper steak and the red BBQ pork over rice. Pepper steak tasted similar to bulgogi, but it wasn’t as amazing as some people portrayed. The combination of beef with lettuce would have been better in a burger instead of rice, and a side of mayo would have enriched the flavors. The BBQ pork was also dry and it wasn’t as good as the ones I’ve tried at other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood.

I travel the world extensively so I know it to be very true that my beef massaman tonight was the worst prepared I have tasted in the last 40 years of travelling the world. The beef had so much gristle that it was inedible. A waste of money and discussing. Be ashamed Pai Kin Kao Restaurant.
