Royal Alovera Reviews
Las raciones gigantes y buenísimas, el menú también está bien. Lo único malo que el comedor es algo oscuro y cerrado.
Everything was fantastic! I forgot to take pictures, but the portions are spectacularly large and delicious, and the sirloin steak toast with cheese and caramelized onions was amazing. The service was top-notch. So I highly recommend you go. Excellent value for money, ten out of ten.
The fried fish was incredible, three wines, four beers, a plate of fried fish and various appetizers, all for €30! Incredible!
The food is delicious and the staff is super attentive… We will definitely be back.
A spectacular place because of the speed of service; we were in a hurry because we were playing in a tournament, and the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. We will definitely be back.
An amazing place to eat and enjoy the company of the staff, who were very attentive and friendly. Incredible food at a great price, we'll be back!
A real find! We came to Royal Victoria Casa Juan in Madrid on my brother's recommendation, and it was a fantastic choice. The lobster rice is spectacular, the kind you don't want to end. The food is plentiful, very high quality, and incredibly flavorful. The staff are excellent; they make you feel right at home. Definitely a place to return to and recommend.
We were out on a bike ride and stopped to refuel. Despite it being quite busy, the service was excellent and took a reasonable amount of time. We ordered some amazing sandwiches; I chose the sirloin toast, and it was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. Honestly, this restaurant is a 10 out of 10. The tapas portions were also generous, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely go back.
Yesterday I ate at Royal Victoria for the first time. Excellent value for money, it's a highly recommended restaurant. My friends and I ordered a special €28 set menu. Homemade food, good quality, and delicious desserts. Carlos and his son make you feel right at home. I'll be back.
Hello, we went back to this restaurant and chose the Christmas menu for €28. I'll let you know how it is in 2025. I know the owner, Carlos, a hard-working and enterprising businessman, and I'm going to use the plural because he's someone I appreciate, but here goes. We ordered some beers at the bar before going in for dinner, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the free snacks they gave us with our beers. We had stopped going because they didn't offer anything for a beer, and it seems they've returned to their good ways. Anyway, for the menu I ordered... First course: Asparagus with 3 prawns and a small salad, which I found quite meager. Second course: Cuttlefish, which wasn't bad at all. Dessert: Apple tart. Drink: Water. My personal opinion is that it's not worth paying €28 for this menu, as I think it's expensive for what it is. They didn't even offer a complimentary coffee or a shot of gin. In the end, €42 per person was a real rip-off for such a dive and of such poor quality. This is the last time we'll eat there. I say this from experience, as we've been going for years and it gets worse and more expensive every time. ___________________________________________________________________ It used to be one of the best restaurants in the area. I have friends who used to travel from Madrid to eat there. If you didn't make a reservation, you didn't get a table. Since Juan left, I've been three times and they served me a piece of bread with a slice of ham, a piece of bread with salami, and I don't remember what the other time. Meanwhile, the locals who've lived here for 16 years were getting paella. We went back another day and ordered some tapas, and they're not like they used to be, but the price is higher. By the way, if you're going to order the set menu, don't expect a stew like they used to make; it's just fried food. I heard they've changed owners, and Juan isn't there anymore. Goodness, you can really tell! I wouldn't recommend it...
Terrible... We ordered home delivery and besides waiting an hour and a half, this arrived... We ordered calamari with potatoes, all frozen and cold, 4 calamari, the nachos were very, very average, but the worst part was the dessert. They offer homemade desserts and we ordered egg pudding and this flan from Mercadona arrived. They charged us 3.50 for the flan and it was bad and expired... What a disgrace...
