Cedar Coffee Supply Alpine Reviews
We were coming back from Big bend national Park and looking for a decent cup of coffee and possibly a snack. We checked out a couple places based on Grok's recommendations and we settled on Cedar coffee. Cute little coffee shop located inside a bookstore. Staff was friendly. Coffee and snacks were above average.
Was in town overnight from Big Bend Ranch State Park and stopped in for a cortado and a cappuccino. They were delicious! Pumpkin bread was also amazing.
Loved this place. Great coffee and delicious breakfast! I would definitely come back! Nice bookstore next-door as well
Stopped in for a morning coffee while in Alpine. Had a nice chat while the coffee was being prepared. Do support this local business in the Alpine and check-out this place. Coffee is very good. And with a cup a coffee its also good to explore around the town nearby. Ambience with the coffee shop is also very good. Must recommended in Alpine. Would love to visit is next time while in Alpine/Marfa
This is a nice little coffee shop next to a bookstore. There is a lot of space inside with a variety of seating. I had a London Fog--Earl Gray tea with honey and foamy milk (there's probably a special term for that)--and it was delicious. On a Monday morning, only one person was working, but there was no line. Enjoyable experience.
Stopped in here after staying the night in Alpine before heading to Big Bend. Such a cute spot, the barista was friendly and the coffee is great! Also super affordable compared to Austin prices. You can’t beat a coffee with a Mountain View. Highly recommend!
Great coffee and friendly staff. My cappuccino was delightful. I also had a vanilla latte and it was perfect. Not too sweet. The mug for staying was adorable and perfect. The vibe is calming and perfect to get work done. There wasn't a line, but there was a steady flow of people in and out.
Passionate baristas and a great cappuccino! We went here 4 times on our 3 day trip. A must stop for your Big Bend trip.
Great local coffee place. Good flavor, nice ambient Great service and friendly staff.
Great atmosphere, vegan options, and a relaxed vibe. I loved the music too! We will be back for sure next time we are in Alpine. I even bought stickers to remember 😁

Cool coffee shop next to the bookstore. I had a latte with an extra espresso shot and it tasted really great. Outside seating is great to enjoy the weather and avoid Covid. You can buy nice mugs with Alpine, TX name.
Fantastic coffee shop with a chill atmosphere and a great book shop attached. Stopped by on the way to and from Big Bend and couldn't be happier we did.
Very nice coffee shop--tasty drinks, nice atmosphere and helpful service. We visited twice during our trip to Alpine, and we were equally delighted both times.
Best latte in 100 square mile radius !!!!! Our whole big bend trip not 1 good coffee spot til this one the way home.
I recently had an event where I wanted to serve coffee to my guests, and Cedar Coffee absolutely delivered! They were able to make plenty of delicious coffee for everyone and provided all the fixings—sugar, creamer, and even the cups! It made things so easy for me, and my guests really enjoyed it. I truly appreciated their service and will definitely be using them again in the future!
Great coffee and cute ambiance! Stopped in on our drive home from BBNP. Cute stickers and a nice bookstore, too!
I had a great experience here. Ordered a latte and the basic french toast. Felt like really good value and was clearly made by someone who actually cares what the food looks and tastes like. Latte was solid and appropriately sized. The seating is a little funky and they need some shades for those eastern windows that blind everyone. I would visit again.

This is a super cute coffee shop I found on my way to big bend. You can see a beautiful landscape if you sit outside. Next door and connected through a little there is a book store. The affogato is a 10/10 The lavender cold brew is meh. Their coffee was super bitter so be aware if you don’t love strong bitter coffee. 100% try the parfait! It’s delicious! 😍 I give them a 4 bc the barista seems to have an attitude and the bathroom is not super clean.

Let me start by saying the coffee was delicious! However, there was only one person working, and it was apparent she was overwhelmed on a Saturday morning. We waited about 10 mins for her to take our order. We got our drinks ordered, and took a seat to wait. There were several orders ahead of us, so we ended up waiting 20+ minutes for the first item. Now this could partially be our fault, but she didn’t ask us if we were dine in or take out when we ordered. When she brought our first food item(a bagel) out on a plate, we asked for the rest of the stuff to be to-go. She walked away acting annoyed and then bagged the other pastries and essentially threw them on the counter. I’d still recommend coming here because the coffee is good, but come with patience.

The coffee and people were great. There is not any waffles or crepes as shown in their menu online. Only a few muffin or bagel options.
We love local businesses, and have enjoyed supporting Cedar Coffee Shop, but unfortunately my family has a disappointing experience today. I was raised in Alpine in the 1980s and we were back in town at our family ranch for the Thanksgiving holiday. I dropped my wife and kids off two minutes before 12pm closing while I gas up the truck before our long road trip, however we were told they would not serve us. When we pointed out we arrived before closing time they still refused. Discouraging experience for us because we always think of coffee shops of being hospitable and accommodate — not to mention we couldn’t get cappuccinos and hot chocolate for the kids before our road trip. We’ll of course give them another chance but definitely a let down for our family. We don’t want this to sound overly negative, however constructive feedback has always helped us improve.

Worst coffee of my life, not an exaggeration. I ordered the tan brewster, which is just cold brew, creamer, and vanilla. It took 25 minutes, and it wasn’t as busy as a typical Starbucks. There were two people working, but one said she was “overwhelmed and needed space” to the other- so really only one person working (the other employee went to the side room and got on her phone). Slowest coffee making I’ve ever seen. Like sloth pace. Once I got my drink I couldn’t even sip it, it was so sour and bad. It wasn’t worth going back in because of the wait time. So I dumped it out and went to the other coffee place in town. Very memorable for literally the worst tasting “coffee” in my experience. Also the bathroom had no TP and 2 paper towels left, and it was morning.

Well, it bothers me to have to give this a 1 star review after my experience today. And I regret ever having given them my money in years past. As a former barista myself, I am baffled by the level rudeness of the barista I experienced today. I asked for my espresso to-go, to which the barista (the wannabe tough male who looks like Super Mario) curtly replied, "there are no espressos to go. If you want that, there are other coffee shops around here." Ok, I get it that may be your policy, but the level of arrogance was so repulsive, and honestly despicable. I added that his coworkers have allowed me to take espresso to go in the past. All I got in reply was "good for them, I'm not them." I guess I should have taken his advice. There are FAR better coffee shops around.
