I usually order ahead on the app, and sometimes I even place two separate orders — but that’s not really the point. I wanted to leave this review because of one employee who works the afternoon/evening shift handing out orders. I don’t actually know his name, but he’s a younger guy who’s usually up front giving out orders. I don’t think he’s a manager — I think he’s just a regular employee — but I’m pretty sure the team will know exactly who I’m talking about. He is honestly the best. First, I want to say I’ve always had great experiences with the employees at the 1414 Tillman Street location. Everyone there has always been friendly and helpful. But this particular employee truly takes things to another level. Every time I walk in, I don’t even have to say anything. He recognizes me immediately — I’m honestly not even sure if it’s by my name on the bag, my usual order, or just my face — but he always knows it’s me. Even if I’m in the middle of talking to someone, he’ll politely say “excuse me,” come right over, and hand me my order. Then when my second order is ready, he’ll either hand it to me personally or bring it over to my table. He really goes out of his way every single time. He absolutely doesn’t have to do all that, but he still does, and it shows how much he cares about doing his job well. What really stands out is how much easier he makes my day. I’m never standing there for 20 minutes wondering what’s going on or waiting for my food. I walk in, and not even a minute goes by before I already have it in my hands. I don’t have to say anything, check the screen, or even look for my order — he’s already on it. That level of attentiveness is honestly awesome, and I love it. I’m not there constantly — maybe a couple times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less — but he is consistently on point every single time without fail. He’s always kind, professional, and attentive, and he truly sets the standard for what great customer service should look like. On top of that, my food is always hot, fresh, and correct. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does, and I honestly think he deserves real recognition for how exceptional he is. He’s the best for real, and he absolutely deserves a raise.
Update: This McDonalds had gotten better in the past year. Before it was much longer waiting time but now it's a bit quicker, but still room for approvement. They just got a new look within the diner and staff are more professional. I've ordered two sausage egg and cheese McMuffin and a hash brown with bottled water and it was delicious! Not messy or put together like they didn't care. Would of took a picture of it but it was too good not to eat! They also have a lock on the bathroom doors but I understand why they need to do so within the area.
I placed an order through the app for curbside pick up. I was outside of the car standing with the back passenger door open trying to entertain a starving toddler. The worker thst brought my order to out walked right past me and didn't say anything. I greeted him and apologized for the crying baby but he didn't say anything at all. Not even Hello.
I don't recommend this place. I ordered a sausage bagel meal with a caramel frappe with 2 shots of espresso and if I haven't overheard them say 'no espresso cause the machine is down' they would've essentially stolen $3.58 from me. Plus the sausage bagel ended up being a bacon bagel. They weren't even that busy to have made the mistakes that mistake and if I hadn't brought up the espresso situation they would've let me walk out with a completely different order than what I paid for. I don't see what they would've gained from not telling me directly that the machine was down, them they couldn't give me a refund cause the worker lost their code so I got pancakes to make up for the $3 discrepancy 🤣 Just nonsense.
Today November 20 2025 I am waiting outside and it’s 5:10 am and the doors are not open very bad service at this location but n tilghman st I went to the Dunkin’ Donuts and there service it’s a 5 star
i door dashed my food when i called the door dasher i heard through the line that they was giving my dasher a hard time being disrespectful and refusing to hand the food to him the once i got my food it was cold i had no straws in the bag and no spoons it’s diabolical how fast food places can be like even i work at a fast food this and we never treat customers like this. they need new respectful workers asap.
It's ashamed people can run their mouths at work clearly but cant take orders clearly then look at you as you are the fool.I never liked this McDonald's since living out here for this reason and too many of its own kind and when this happens in many cases work levels and or performance isn't good...Rather than argue with the lady who clearly lacked communication i walked out from her and talking crew....I'll stay outra there I'm better off...as their are better McDonald's than this one that I go towhom do the job and not talk as much

Was in today with my aid. We stop here often. Get the same meals each time. Ordered 2 $6 McDouble meals. 1 regular and 1 with the burger plain. Because of the consistency of errors I always have my aid count what's in the bag. Should be 2 burgers, 2 nuggets and 2 ff plus the drinks. We don't open each item cuz we don't want to hold up the line. Got home. My aid said my wrapped burger looked small. I opened it and it was a plain single hamburger. You forgot the other burger that makes it a mcdouble. Then I realized you didn't even put the cheese on it. I have photos of the burger, receipt and the printout on the burger. It was ordered correctly. Both receipts said 1 was to be plain, cheese only. In the last 3 hours I tried calling 4 times with no answer. Do your managers not answer their phone? I WOULD LIKE A REFUND ON THE MESSED UP ORDER. BTW.... had you answered the phone I wouldn't have given a review. I understand human error. But the fact you don't even answer the phone pushed your incompetence too far.
I would give 0 stars if I could. How do you make me wait for 30 minutes just for you to tell me that you gave away my food and refuse to remake it.
If I could give this McDonald's a zero, I would. I went here after work to get food; drove a half hour because it was the only spot to get food. Absolutely nothing. Systems are down; mobile ordering is the only thing allowed. Do better.
I live about two blocks from this location and visit once or twice a week. Unfortunately, almost every visit over the past few months has resulted in my order being incorrect or the food quality being extremely poor. I regularly order a Double Quarter Pounder, and more often than not I’m given a single instead. On my most recent visit, the burger both looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours before being served. It’s frustrating because this location is so convenient to my home, but the consistent mistakes and lack of quality have made it to the point where I’d rather drive to a farther location just to receive the correct order and fresh food. I don’t typically leave reviews, so when I do it’s because the experience has been consistently great or consistently bad. Unfortunately, my experiences at this location over the last few months have been consistently disappointing.
How you gonna say your open 24 hours n have someone sitting in your drive thru at 630 in the morning on a Friday for 30 minutes and not take there order

they take so long to give you your food I’ve waiting 5 hours for my food to get nothing and have it canceled all the time I hate ordering here never again.
To start, the drive-through worker was horrific, yelling and banging on the table, and the screen stated, 'It's hectic here; it's not your fault,' but continued to be rude upon being asked if it's not our fault why are you being rude to us. Didn't even share his name skinny long grey and black hair Hispanic man. On top of giving us half our food cold I just don't understand. Really chose a better career path if you hate your job and need to choose to be nasty to folks because of your own misery. Not to mention my wife being pregnant and emotional in the car crying because this man done frustrated and ruined her night after just wanting to grab something to eat, can you say emotional distress? I think so. I will be taking this further you don't treat people like this.
This is the worse McDonald’s around. I placed a breakfast order twice and both times it got canceled and the excuse I got was they just didn’t feel like doing it because there was only a half hour left until breakfast was over. I rather eat glass then recommend this place.

I eat here sometimes. I live close by , when I do it always seems like the manager has an attitude, if you don’t like your job why work here . I got food poisoning here once and nothing was done about it I even brought it up to the customer service team. I like the union blvd location a little better at least they don’t make you feel unwelcome, and whenever I came to this location the tables are dirty . I had a few bad experiences with the inside of my burger being pink . If I lived closer to the union blvd location I’d go there more often.
Well, I. 've been living over here on sixteenth and Tillman street.\n And they have signs on the door that says they closed the lobby at 1 AM, but for null, they closed the lobby at 10 o'clock, they do this every single night, I know that, because my husband loves mcchicken, and he gets one every single night so we have to get there at 9 o'clock because they closed their lobby at 10 o'clock it's always the girl with the little mini froe and the nose piercings, or the lady with the long dreads, and they like we only do Will orders every single time?And this has been going on with that mcdonald's since two thousand and eight
I would like for a change to leave a positive review at a restaurant, but my reviews are honest though. Snack wrap where? You basically paying for a tortilla at the same price for a pack at the store. Barely no lettuce or sauce to the point where the cheese stands out, and that’s slim too. McDonald please take the memo from Popeyes or maybe use Tyson chicken strips instead of that new mess. That’s not the OG selects. Downgrade the price please. So my son just told me he supposed to have lettuce, tomatoes and bacon on his chicken sandwich.He say all he got was two bottom buns and little sauce of depression.He say they definitely hate their job and no love in his burger 🤣🤣🤣
TERRIBLE experience. Had a mobile order, I was waiting at the driver thru order for 5 mins and nobody answered. So I moved forward to the next one and they told me no pickup thru drive thru. THEY COULD HAVE BLOCKED THE DRIVE THRU LANE. They were cars waiting in drive thru lane. Ended up canceling my order.
Ordered a plain double quarter pounder with bacon and extra cheese. First they gave me a chicken sandwich, so I brought it back in and then they gave me what looked like a plain double cheeseburger. Cheese was clearly just thrown on as it was still cold and there definitely wasn't extra cheese or bacon. If there was a lunch rush I could understand there being mistakes, but there wasn't even a line when I went.
Went to go get some breakfast since they are 24/7 but I guess they only do DoorDash and uber eats in the morning around 4, like what is the difference. They still have to make the food for the drivers but can’t make the food and hand it to me at the window. This place is unreal. Management should be replaced along with its workers. Matter in fact just take the whole building down. I would get better service if the building was never there. Never fails to dissatisfy
The employees here are nasty. I just bought in this place 2 frappes and a Oreo McFlurry and they had hair in them. Its nasty. This is discussing to have this situation happen. My daughter took out the hair from the frappes.

I understand how stressful it can be to work at a fast food place, but simple mistakes like this makes me think the workers here are incompetent and slow. I ordered here through delivery, a 10 piece chicken nugget meal. When my order arrived the fries, napkins, ketchup and straw were missing. I clearly ordered the full meal which includes the sauce and fries but these workers did not put any of those things. I know it wasn’t the driver who stole it because when they gave me my order, the bag was sealed completely so no indication of that. I get that it can be busy, but you think it’s acceptable to put 2 out of the 4 things I ordered and send me an empty bag? Not being able to put 4 things in a bag is beyond me. This place needs to do better.
