AMAZING FOOD! Came in for a piece of cake and I left with two full bags of food.

A special thanks to Joe, whom I was referred to, delivered such great results for an Italian Crème cake that I needed for my mother’s birthday at short notice. The cake was completed on time, was beautiful, huge and most importantly, delicious! My mother LOVED the cake and she’s not one to easily satisfy. Will definitely recommend him and order again.

My wife and I have been trying to find a good bakery. I was pleasantly surprised with the cake options. I tried the chocolate on chocolate, German chocolate and strawberry. All three were very good but my favorite was the German chocolate. Their cake was moist and the flavors were amazing! I just wish they were open for more than the weekend.

Outstanding! I just used them to surprise my mother for her b-day and the entire experience was phenomenal! From interacting with his staff/family to pre-paying for the order, everything was easy to use and professional. I am still floored that I paid so little to get so much out of what essentially became a custom cake--the previous year I spent near $100 at a popular bakery in Bishop Arts and I still can't think about it without feeling ill. This cake was so delicious, it's nearly unbelievable, lol. I have never had chocolate frosting that was perfectly chocolatey, not too sweet but still indulgent. The cake itself was moist and flavorful, and Mr. Joe (yes, take note that customers do not remain strangers, very personable) even accommodated me asking for a special design, not charging extra! If you read reviews, you know how rare it has become to get excellent service and quality food, but this institution is a gem. I actually used Google reviews to decide on them and I was not disappointed. It feels like I was just catching up with some family I hadn't seen in forever. Customers. For. Life🫶🏾

I ordered a strawberry cake for my daughter’s birthday and let me tell you….it was on point! It was so moist and fluffy like melt in your mouth, and my daughter absolutely LOVED it! The customer service that the owner Joe provided was phenomenal hands down, and they also have a whole menu of other delicious food items as well. If you need to order a cake for an occasion at a reasonable price, then I definitely recommend Delightful Desserts 10 out of 10!

I was blessed to find this bakery on Google. Contacted the bakery, spoke to the owner. I told him this is a surprise for my Uncle’s 75th birthday. I’ve never ordered from a place where I didn’t taste their food but they have awesome reviews. My uncle received his cake via delivery. He said, this cake smells so good and it’s heavy. I live in Kentucky, was traveling there in 7 days. I said please save some cake. I get to Dallas and asked for the cake, he said sorry niece, we demolished the cake. Needless to say he and his wife loved the cake. I’m forever grateful for Delightful Desserts Desoto, thank you!

My daughter ordered a Tres Leches cake for Father's Day online. When I went to pick it up Joe had no record of the order. He was very kind and concerned and made it right. I picked up the cake on Sunday (a day he is closed and a holiday) and it was delicious. This is what makes a great business. Producing a great product and handling unforseen problems graciously. Thank you Chef Joe.

I've been ordering from Mr Joe for yrs now.....always beautiful, delicious cakes. His work with food is impeccable and he himself a professional. ....I do have a favorite which is the German Chocolate cake that just melts in your mouth and my son loves the Strawberry cake....any flavor that you choose please believe me, you will NOT be disappointed. I want to congratulate you on a job well done Mr/Mrs Delightful Desserts....lol....may God keep you and continue to bless you so you can continue to bless us with those amazing tastes!!!!!

Excellent!! Needed a specific birthday cake at the last minute immediately after Thanksgiving. The owner was more than accommodating and displayed the best customer service I have ever experienced! Also, the cake was extremely moist and flavorful. Thanks for going over and beyond!!

I went in there for free food friday expecting to try some “pretty good” food… when I tell you there is no reason on God’s Green Earth why that food should be that dang good. I took a bite of the strawberry cake and my unborn child jumped for literal joy in the womb. I haven’t had quality like this in a longgggg time. Delightful Deserts puts other big restaurant chains to literal SHAME. Olive Garden, Papadeauxs…count your days! This place definitely deserves more hype!!!

As soon as you walk in you are instantly hit with the most sweet and savory smell you could ever imagine. The owners are so kind and very inviting. The first thing we tasted was the Chili then the Nocchi and last but not least my favorite the lemon cake. Hands down the best cake I’ve tasted, so moist and the homemade frosting is perfect!! We the ordered the spaghetti and tuna salad sandwich to go and it didn’t even make it out the parking lot😂. By far this is place is a gem and I hope to visit here every chance I can.
