Bar San Cafè Alzate Brianza Reviews
We went to this bar this morning for breakfast. The place is very welcoming and well-decorated, with really comfortable seating at the tables. The croissants are delicious and obviously fresh. The girls who served us were very kind and friendly. Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back!
It's now a go-to spot for aperitifs, breakfasts, and get-togethers with friends or your girlfriend. The staff is always top-notch, and the place is truly beautiful and pleasant, both during quieter times and when it's a bit crowded. The staff always know how to manage every moment. Excellent products, and superb breakfasts and aperitifs. Highly recommended, and parking is practically in front of the place.
One of my regular breakfast spots: cappuccino and occasionally a fresh, excellent-quality cream croissant. The service is fast and the staff is incredibly friendly. After a few visits, you already feel part of a community, a significant feeling that, ultimately, is one of the main reasons to go to a café instead of having breakfast alone at home. Ample tables are available for dining comfortably, avoiding crowding at the counter. Convenient parking is available for customers, and a few meters ahead is a large public parking lot with charging stations for electric vehicles. It doesn't get much better than this.

Fantastic new little bar to socialise with friends. Great atmosphere with an appetiser with your drinks
Top!
Tried it two days in a row for aperitifs and breakfast. The variety of croissants is impressive, and they even refill them on the spot. The aperitif comes with a few appetizers, which, in my opinion, could be added to the mix because it would encourage you to stay and come back, given the truly comfortable interior and the friendly, helpful, and cheerful staff.
Generous appetizers, good drinks (they have practically everything). The background music is nice. The place is great for spending an evening or an afternoon with friends. They can also host birthday parties, and in the summer they usually have Divine Thursday, which is their special night!
A bar branded BCC (cooperative credit bank), in fact, you can find a very efficient ATM inside. The place was recently completely renovated. Very beautiful and modern. Attentive service and young, dynamic staff. Suitable for everything from breakfast to evening aperitifs. Highly recommended.
We've passed by many times, and this early morning we finally decided to stop in. It's a young, well-maintained establishment, with spacious rooms, large windows, and plenty of light and views. The equally spacious exterior, elevated above street level, is a real pleasure to have breakfast in. We won't miss it next time. The only question is whether the croissants are from a bakery.
The three of us sit down around 6 pm and order drinks. The waiter asks if we want something to eat. We say yes. The place is definitely not busy. A quarter of an hour passes, we ask for food. Nothing. After another quarter of an hour, another request. Nothing. Meanwhile, food is brought to the table next to ours, which happened to have sat down after us. After a good hour of waiting, with our glasses now empty, they're about to bring us our snacks, which, of course, we send back. Okay, a bit of a wait, but it was an aperitif, not dinner. No apologies, and the bill is €24.
Want a breakfast bar that welcomes you, while you sip a coffee, with the counter all covered in your shoes? This is the place for you. Not to mention that they clean the cappuccino cup with the same sponge. An experience to forget.
ARMED ROBBERY. Let me start by saying that we all work to make ends meet, but earning money is one thing, and ripping people off is another. Tonight at aperitivo, for a glass of Montepulciano and a fruity soft drink accompanied by a platter (consisting of chips, focaccia, couscous, olives, and peanuts), I was charged €17 (€9 for the wine and €8 for the soft drink), which is absurd considering we're in Alzate and not Como or similar cities. I find this bill absolutely senseless, especially considering that there wasn't even a price list for the drinks at the table before ordering. Never again.
It's a shame about the service; the place deserves better. We've been frequenting this bar for a while, and while the atmosphere is nice and comfortable, we unfortunately have to admit that the service often leaves much to be desired. We'd noticed delays and rude responses in the past, but we decided to let it slide. After a couple of visits where there seemed to be an improvement, we returned with confidence... but this morning was truly disappointing. It took almost twenty minutes just to clear the table and take our order. The waitress, visibly distressed, kept apologizing—the only positive note—but that wasn't enough to save the situation. Breakfast was handled sloppily: the pastries arrive first, then the drinks after another five minutes. What should have been a pleasant breakfast turned into an unpleasant experience. At the cashier's desk, we pointed out that, as pleasant as the place is, the service remains unacceptable. Their response? A shrug and a "one person missing." Understandable, but it can't become a habit—especially if it's a recurring problem. We'd already given it several chances, but unfortunately this was the last. A real shame, because the place had all the makings of a much better experience.
1 spritz= 8€
Regulars. We went in and ordered two basic gin and tonics. €8 each. There were two of us. Despite the price, they brought it to our table without even a single crisp. But looking around, we noticed that the other two tables still had glasses with their drinks and small plates with food per table.
