Definitely worth a return visit. The food was spectacular; we ordered a set menu with several options. For our first course, we had creamy duck rice, followed by grilled cuttlefish and entrecote steak, and then homemade Oreo cake and nougat ice cream. As a starter, we ordered patatas bravas with a delicious foamy sauce. The waiters were wonderful, very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.

First, they brought us the obligatory salad, a bonus point for the vitets. Then we ordered drinks and two sandwiches: the well-known chivito, and another one, which Google censored my review because of its name, which included beef, sobrasada, bacon, and peppers. Both were very good. The sandwiches were neither too big nor too small, but the bread was delicious. To finish, we ordered some rum cremaets, which they also added a touch of cinnamon, which I found very good. We had a superb lunch, and the total cost was €9. It's a good option in Alzira, so we'll be back.
We went for lunch, a group of four. We ordered four delicious sandwiches: one fried calamari, one chivito (a Chilean steak sandwich), one Ecopark Special, and the house special. We also ordered one Ca Tomas (the house special was the best), one salad for four (which was plenty), peanuts, a bag of chips, two ice cream cones, one blueberry cheesecake flan (which was good), and one coffee flan (which was really good). The coffee was slightly overpowered. Overall, we had a good experience with excellent service, and the quality, service, and price were quite good.
Good food, good prices and really helpful and friendly staff.
Taking advantage of the fact that my youngest had a football match in Alzira, we went to Ca Tomàs for lunch. A place that was on my to-do list and that everyone raves about. Cacau d'or 2020, recognition from the Gloton's, recognition from the Friends of the Carajillo, and a few more that I'm sure I'm forgetting. Without further ado, let's get to how lunch went at this iconic spot and what my opinion is, which is what we're here for. 👍 THINGS I LIKED: ✔︎ The sandwich menu combines classic sandwiches like the brascada and the chivito with others that require more preparation, like at Ecoparc. ✔︎ The healthy custom they have in the Ribera Alta region of serving salad as a side dish. ✔︎ I found the ingredients to be excellent. The cuttlefish was tender, the figatells were spectacular, and the beef melted in my mouth. ✔︎ The cremaet (a traditional Valencian coffee drink) – every now and then we find a cremaet that's truly worthwhile. ✔︎ The filling they use in the sandwiches is excellent; it's nice not to see any gaps in the bread. 👎 THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE: ✔︎ The size of the bread – it was too small for me. I'm not saying I want an XXL sandwich, but perhaps a couple more centimeters would have been enough. ✔︎ The price. €9.50 seems expensive for a typical lunch of a sandwich, plus food, drinks, and coffee. But I gladly paid it because the sandwiches were good. ✔︎ That a renowned lunch spot in the Ribera region serves fried peanuts at lunchtime is ridiculous. 🤔 WILL I RETURN? ✔︎ I won't be back. I already know what lunch is like at this place, and I prefer to visit others in the area. 🔥 WHAT I HAD FOR LUNCH 🥖 Sandwich: Figatells sandwich with mustard and caramelized onions. 🥜 Cost: A plate of fried peanuts and a salad. ☕️🔥 Cremaet: Yes. 🍷 Drink: Wine with soda. 💶 Price: €9.50. 🙌🏻 The best: The figatells and the cremaet. 📍Address: Plaza de Corbeil Essonnes 1b, 46600 Alzira, Valencia. ⏰ Hours: Monday to Sunday. ☀️ Terrace: No. 🚘 Parking difficulty: Medium. 👨👩👦👦 Children's space: No.
Decent food and service. They offer a menu for 19 Euros in which you get to choose 3 tapas from about 20, also toasted bread with tomato or ajoaceite and a paella or fideua or arroz caldoso,( we were 3 but I think it is minimum 2 ) cooked for you, not a giant one cooked ages ago it's supposedly cooked there and then for you, we had arroz caldoso de Carabineros which wasn't bad and my son had entrecot de ternera ( sirloin stake) which was nice, it also includes dessert, had a lovely homemade chocolate cake, and coffee. Very good quality for that price. Very friendly atmosphere with a park next to it for kids to play, it's located in a square with no access for cars so you can relax a bit. Will go back.
Good food
A bit too expensive, but it is worth it. Nice service and good quality food.
I felt ripped off. The two half-menus consisted of four calamari, eight patatas bravas, and a piece of fried cheese with jam. A nougat ice cream and a cremaet (a Catalan coffee drink): €50, which is highway robbery. By the way, the rice dishes were made with cheap, boxed chicken broth. I won't be back. I'd rather get ripped off somewhere else.
