El Bracero Amarillo Reviews
I’ve eaten at this location about once a month for the past five years. I’ve had most everything on the menu and it’s all delicious. Portions are huge so the value is excellent and the flavor is amazing. The Cabrito is my favorite, but the quesabirria they had on special recently was amazing.
Ate here with a friend the other day for the first time. Love the queso with their amazing fresh flour tortillas. Service was great, it was very busy when we went but that didnt affect our food or service at all, theyre on top of their game in there. Would definitely return.
I wish I had taken pictures! Excellent food for lower prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Top picks: anything with carne asada (fajitas, tacos) or cheese (chiles replenish, enchiladas).
If I could give 100 stars for service I would. Our waitress who served us was cheerful and very helpful, even taking a picture of our family for us. Service was quick. And the food was heavenly. 10/10 would eat here again.
I saw their menu on line and looked good and reasonably priced. I was particularly interested in the shrimp cocktail. ( Coctel De Camaron ) I had the Chicken Flautas from their lunch menu $9.50 and the Coctel De Camaron. $13.99. The cocktail was tasty. The only con is I would like to see the avocado cut into chunks instead of slices. All the staff were great. Especially Denise V who answered my many questions. Keep up the good work. 👍
I have food allergies and struggle to find allergen friendly restaurants. Aaron at Los Braceros was super careful and thoughtful about making sure I was able to order something that was safe for me to eat. In addition, the food is outstanding. I am so happy to have had a delicious meal in Amarillo. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody.
DoorDash messed up my order, location & everything. HOWEVER I called restaurant and they were so nice , they even sent a family member to deliver my food!!! So on that note let me tell you… Chips are light & crispy.. Fajitas are Excellent and the sopapillias ias are just like I remember them from childhood… Prices are reasonable, Portions excellent and I can’t say enough about how nice these people were! Happy truck driver right now for sure!!! PS Sopapillias come 3 per order but I had to eat dessert 1st ya know… life’s short!
Super easy to find a parking spot; parking on every side and handicap able as well. There was no wait we got a spot on Sunday quick. The hostess was attentive and quick at her job and keeping us all refilled on our drinks and suggesting different foods. There's allot on the menu it's hard to choose but the burgers are DeVine! And the chilli rellano is spot on! We had leftovers to take home. And the salsa is a must as well! They even had fresh roses on every table. This is a must try place if you are looking for something yummy!
My wife and I ate here after it was recommended by many friends and colleagues that this restaurant was quite good. The atmosphere of the Los Braceros exhibits an authentic Mexican cuisine feeling. Although it was small and busy, it definitely makes you feel like you’re in a real Mexican place as opposed to Tex-Mex or mainstream. My wife and I ate the Menudo and the Oaxaca Plate. Both dishes were very delicious. The bread that came with the menudo is something that I haven’t really seen at Mexican places. In addition, the Oaxaca Plate had a nice kick at the end of each bite and was very filling. If you’re looking for something that might serve as a meal for the next day for leftovers, the Oaxaca plate will serve as that main course to feed you both days. Aside from the food, the waitress that we had was very nice and accommodating to our table and the prices weren’t unbearable even in this modern era of inflation. All in all if I had to say there is one criticism of Los Braceros it would be the parking lot. The parking spaces can be more defined and the parking lot should have some light. We went when it was dark and was hard to see. In lieu of that, I recommend anyone to come and eat here if you’re looking for good tasting Mexican food and a nice quiet place to eat.
The food is very good, but my wife ordered the Tuesday special so the waitress asked what kind of meat she wanted, my wife asked what kind she could choose from. She gave her different kinds and types, my wife ordered the carne adobada. I had the guisada plate, when we received the check, my wife's plate price was double, we asked why the waitress asked the manager, the manager said that plate was the taco plate with choice of meat.... my wife specifically ordered the daily plate special, not the three taco plate, the waitress gave my wife the choice of meat. We went ahead and paid for the meal but be aware to point out the exact order from the menu. Not cool. The food is good though. The bathrooms are clean, clear and well maintained. The staff our waitstaff was attentive and professional. The host was very friendly, and polite, and sat us down where we wanted.
Ordered fajitas and was never brought tortillas shells. Waitresses asked if we needed anything and I told her I was missing tortilla shells, she looked at me like I was stupid. My husband and I both tried to explain to her several ways what I was missing and she couldn’t understand and acted like I was crazy for asking. She said those don’t come with fajitas. Several minutes pass and she comes back with a fried taco salad shell. How the heck am I supposed to eat fajitas with that!! She never once came back after to check not once. Manager finally comes over 20 minutes later and ask is everything ok. I tell her what happened and she says you told the waitress you didn’t want tortillas. No ma’am no I didn’t. She never brought tortillas to the table so how could I tell her I didn’t want them and wanted something else. Manager just said sorry and walked away. Horrible customer service and we will not be back. What kinda of restaurant brings fajitas and refuses to bring you tortillas to eat with, then makes the customer out to look like they did something wrong. We frequent Mexican restaurants and never once had this issue. On top of that, the oil smell in the air was making half the restaurant go into coughing fits. Even children were reacting.
Restaurant was cold, server was great, my tacos were very greasy, cashier was busy talking to a customer at their table. We waited several minutes to pay, finally just leaving the money on the counter.
The ticket saying convince feet 3.75 which I understand if we want use the card the add it to the ticket but I also cash and still they charged me for it that’s funny as hell
Waiter was very kind, but had absolutely know idea of what the restaurant offered on the menu. I ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla, i got just chicken, and cheese only, I had to ask cook for the grilled peppers onions, and tomatoes. My husband ordered a cheeseburger, and didn't even finish it. The food just lacked flavor, no seasoning. So disappointing.
