The food was amazing, felt like being welcomed by a family. Everything is homemade, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. We were there for lunch, the lasagna and calamari were so delicious, the limoncello is a treat. Definitely will be back.
We hosted my Sister in laws bridal shower at Ristorante Imperatore this past weekend and it was such a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend this spot to anyone for bridal/ baby showers and events!
We hosted my sister’s bridal shower at Imperatore and it was the perfect space, with one room for socializing and the other for a sit down lunch. The food & service were excellent!
Ristorante Imperatore is a fantastic upscale restaurant that offers delicious food at a great price. My personal favorite is the Garganelli Pesto with Shrimp, paired with a fresh Caesar salad—both are outstanding! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. I also appreciate their willingness to accommodate dietary restrictions; just ask, and they’ll help with any allergies. Plus, they offer gluten-free options! This has definitely become my go-to spot in Blue Bell, PA. Highly recommend!
I took my man here for surprise Vday dinner, Nancy our sever was phenomenal and Luis was also very wonderful to us. The atmosphere is so quaint and romantic. FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL! We were too stuffed for dessert but plan to come back again and again! I highly recommend for special occasions they took pictures for us too!
This place is amazing! Love all the food here! It is quickly becoming our favorite place. Worth the drive for us
Ristorante Imperatore is a culinary masterpiece. The ambiance exudes elegance, and each dish is a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. From the attentive service to the exquisite presentation, it's a dining experience fit for royalty.
I am so glad we finally tried this place and this place was phenomenal! The service was great! We can’t wait to come back and get dessert this time !
Celebrated my birthday at lunch time! Food and staff were amazing!! Thank you!
Went with my husband tonight and OMG. The food was incredible, our waitress was fantastic. My husband got the stuffed veal chop, and I got the Barramundi. Both were specials and both were well worth it. I got the mushroom soup which was hands down the best I've ever had. My husband kept saying that he wished we lived closer so that we could come back sooner. Absolutely amazing dinner and service.
It's without a doubt our favorite restaurant in Montgomery county! Always excellent food and service.
We came here to celebrate a special occasion and this is a new restaurant for us. The service was friendly and super helpful (I have food allergies) Our meals were so delicious and we'll definitely be back!
I had a lovely time on Valentine's day with my friend. Neither of us had dates so were eachother's. The staff was attentive, informative, and professional. They helped us with food allergies and made excellent suggestions. The artichoke appetizer and chestnut soup were excellent. I would definitely love to go back. It's a BYOB. So don't forget the wine.
ONLY A CHEAP PERSON COULD RATE THIS ANYTHING LESS THAN 5 STARS ! must see!
Last night we had a party of 8 who enjoyed the entire experience at Imperatore! Luis was a fantastic server who helped to make our evening a phenomenal event!! We ordered approximately 10 different appetizers and each one was more amazing than the next and all were outstanding. The main courses did not disappoint either. Some of the many positive reviews were-“ This veal chop was by far the best I’ve ever tasted! It was cooked to perfection and melts in our mouths ” and “The Australian fish (a special) was a great combo of unique and delicious flavors that I devoured followed by the chicken and crab dish that I ate which I absolutely loved!! We were never rushed and every request was honored without hesitation. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant! I highly recommend everything about it!
Great experience for lunch. Highly recommended! Food and service was top notch. Will be coming back!
A great little gem, food is fantastic, service is first class nice atmosphere not very poud even when full. Who would’ve thought this lil strip mall would have a jewel. Plenty of parking
I don’t typically write restaurant reviews but our experience at Ristorante Imperatore was so fantastic that I was compelled to write this review. From the minute I called them to make the reservation I felt the warmth and inviting atmosphere. We were welcomed at the door by Dominic and he continued to give us his expert attention all evening. Lots of delicious dishes to choose from on the menu and a few outstanding specials. The pasta is homemade, the sauces are exceptionally fresh tasting and creative. I am a foodie and every dish I saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing. I heard some of the other customers commenting how good their dishes were. Every dish we had was fantastic. Lots of friendly helpful attention from our weight staff of Dominic, Jennifer, and Sam. They made sure we had everything we needed at all times. Did I mention this restaurant is BYOB… Which is really fun. We were given a wine bucket for our beer to keep it nice and cold and all the proper glasses. I would strongly suggest you try this restaurant out… You will not be disappointed!
I ordered the salmon and lobster risotto. The salmon skin was crunchy and cooked to perfection! The risotto was rich in flavor. The roll with olive oil dipping sauce, wonderful. I had a taste of the lemon mouse pie with blueberries off to the side, a sweet end to such a wonderful meal. Coffee great, too. Congrats to Sarah, for wonderful service.
Just tried Ristorante Imperatore for lunch, great spot would go back for dinner. Food was outstanding and service was exceptional.
Excellent. Excellent, excellent! My partner & I just had an amazing experience at this location, from the service, to the food! The entire staff was so nice & helpful! They all worked together which I loved seeing. A very welcoming environment. The food was delicious & portion sizes are huge! we were truly satisfied. :)
Great small restaurant featuring Mediterranean/Italian food. Had been there numerous times, and all my entrées were very tasty. Portion sizes were good. It's on the pricey side. Nice and clean and adequate easy parking in this strip mall location. Prime time on Friday and Saturday evenings will usually be crowded and maybe a little slower service.
A very reliable "go-to" for awesome Italian food. The staff give you the impression that they actually enjoy providing their service, which is rare these days. The food is amazing, especially for the price given other alternatives in the area. A true gem.
Great menu design and dinner specials. Attentive and professional service. Waited too long to try something with so much to offer. Will go back. (And I'm very critical)
Lynn Schweitzer Friedman, MD? The MD must stand for Maryland cause she’s crabby as all heck. No shot on earth she’s a doctor. Maybe a doctor of terrible takes and bad personality. The food, atmosphere, and staff are top notch. Just enjoyed a meal for the first time here and will be back. Luis was a five star server
The family took my Mother there for her 90th birthday and had an amazing time. Our server, Dom, was awesome. Took his time explaining all the specials and was very patient with us, which we really appreciated. It was an awesome meal and everything was absolutely perfect. Will definitely return and seriously recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding meal. Best of all it’s BYOB!
Great food. Great service. Great experience from the moment we walked in the door. Louis was a server and was very personable and attentive. We will definitely be back.
Louis was our waiter. He was FABULOUS from start to finish. I can’t say enough good things for our first experience here ! Will be returning very soon and asking for Louis!
Our lunch was perfect - food was exceptional with quick service and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Lunch was amazing! Had the lobster and crab raviolis , my friend has the pear filled pasta with an absolutely wonderful sauce. I had the artichokes with aioli and my guest had arancini. The special was softshell crabs so I had to get one to take home for dinner tonight. Lunch was absolutely divine. I’ll definitely be back soon. If you haven’t been here you’re missing out. Enjoyed immensely! Finished with cappuccino! ❤️
This was our first visit but definitely not our last. The food was amazing from bread and oil to the limoncello cake and coffee. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Marwyn, our server. He was knowledgeable about the menu and was very personable. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. We will definitely be back and we will tell all of our friends and family.
What a great lunch we enjoyed! I cannot wait to go back.
I have been dining here for years, never disappointed, service, presentation., quality and taste amazing … one of my favorites and I only have 4
An absolute gem of a restaurant. Small, intimate, you are greeted by Cindy, the hostess that treats you like family. The service is impeccable, the menu choices are a great variety of beautifully presented dishes .The flavors fresh and delicious every time. We took some friends last night. They were delighted and highly impressed. Pretty sure they will be back as we will.too. Just a great experience! Update!! Had my husband's 70th bday party here Jan 3. Could not have been more perfect. 35 guests were treated to great service, personal service and delicious food. Adel, chef and owner was a dream to work with regarding menu choices ,seating and he had great suggestions. Calamari was " the best ever" many said. All of the entrees were delicious and our guests will certainly be back. Most of them are regulars anyway. We were thrilled with everything! Thankyou Imperatore and staff!!!
My husband and I have been here many times. One of our favorite BYOBs in the area! Food is always on point, and tonight Louis (our waiter) was so friendly and attentive. He had us cracking up. Overall, another beautiful dinner all around.
We've dined here several times and have never been dissapointed. Thank you for the delicious meals! And.. the pistachio ricotta cake is amazing.
My friend selected this restaurant to celebrate her birthday because she heard that it was good. We met there for dinner last night. We started with an appetizer that we shared, Calamari Grigliati. It was fresh and grilled perfectly. For main course, I had the Risotto Pescatori which I requested with Fra Diavolo sauce instead of marinara since I love spicy. It turned out to be perfection! It was right amount of seafood with plenty of yummy risotto. My friend had the Spidini di Capesante e Gamberette which she enjoyed very much. We finished with sharing the Limoncello Mascarpone cake which they brought out with a sparkling candle. Everything tasted so good. The ambience is wonderful and I love that it's a BYO. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the young lady who started to bus the appetizer plate when we weren't finished. She took my appetizer plate and piled it onto the Calamari Grigliati plate when we still had a serving left to eat. She didn't even ask if we were finished with it. I was stunned. Aside from that, the hostess was very nice and friendly and our waiter was accommodating with my dish. I would definitely return.
I've been to this restaurant twice. The first time it was very crowded because they were hosting a party but that was more for a special occasion. Tonight was very calm. very packed because it's close to New Year's. I had the calamari to start with which was fried. it was very delicious with the traditional marinara sauce. I had the fettuccine alfredo as my entree. I first must start off by saying I am half Italian, and I'm used to traditional Italian food . I did not like the addition of the truffle cream sauce. I found it to be very strong and dominant. My only major critique is I feel the the Alfredo dish would be much more successful in taste without the truffle cream sauce. certain people that go there may think it's too strong. I truly believe the dish is good enough without the addition of the truffle.
Service was good. Bread was excellent, crusty, warm. My girlfriend's chicken dish was done nicely, great flavor. My dish had good flavor, which was shrimp/scallops. It was supposed to come with risotto but I think it may have been rice. The avocado appetizer was ok, but the avocado was not peeled. Again, flavor very good, but need a few minor improvements.
Normally great time but we went New Years Eve. Had a pre fix Menu. Food was only OK but cost was very high for what you got. Don't think I'll be back in awhile, if again
I really wanted to like this place because I am always looking for a local delicious place. I have driven by it for years and we finally decided to try it. Sadly it was just ordinary. Service: Luis was warm, friendly and attentive. All the staff were attentive really. Atmosphere: a lot of older people. Who probably come there often and who don’t have a terribly refined palette. Food: which is the most important part of going out. It was just ok. Burrata app special tasted pre made and sat in the fridge before coming out, it had “fresh” figs that were dry.. The whole plate also tasted refrigerated really. Veil special that cost $55 was tough. It was huge, but it didn’t taste what one expects from a $55 entree. Tuna on risotto wasn’t bad, had loads of butter, but wasn’t worth $43. Deserts from Mindy were the best part. They were tasty, not too sweet and we enjoyed a lemon cello and a dolce de leche cakes. So over all, I would say cost to benefit ratio was inadequate. So 3 stars it is.
So we had reservations at 5:00 last night 9/20/25 and there was a detour on Skippack Pike which, so I decided to give them a courtesy call at 5:10 letting them know we are running a few minutes late. This snooty rude woman’s response was “you have two hours to eat”! I said we aren’t deliberately trying to be late! We finally arrived and she sat us down. The restaurant was empty when we got there not a good sign! The four of us ordered and my wife and I wanted to share fried calamari, our friends didn’t want an appetizer. They brought the food out, but no appetizer. When we asked about the appetizer, the server said “its on the shelf, we will bring it out”, so of course we said no. Who brings out the appetizer with the meal? We will not be going back! We normally leave 25% tip but only left 15!
I feel like the bread was Marie calendars frozen rolls and my entree was super salty: we have been wanting to try this local place for years and it was very disappointing. I am never a person to write a bad review but it was not good. My husband had pasta and he liked his but I had fish and it was not great.
The restaurant looks lovely with white linens and comfortable seating. Our fine dining experience ended there. We were sorry to see that the menu hadn't changed for many years, including the specials. We were served cold, stale rolls with dark olive oil. We both ordered a "special" ($40), which was Branzino with 2 scallops and 2 shrimps on top of it. My scallops were burned and the meal also came with mixed vegetables which included burnt yet somehow raw carrots. The staff kept trying to take our plates before we had finished eating, making us feel like we were being hurried out. When we asked to see the dessert menu, we were told there wasn't one and a different server came over to recite what was available. We declined, if it is too much trouble for them, than we can't expect it to be tasty. Our experience was bad enough that we will not return because there are so many other restaurants in the area for a lower cost and better tasting food. This restaurant used to be very good, but now it is limping along. A refresh is needed. It just seems like nobody in management cares anymore. Sorry to say goodbye, Imperitore.
Very Disappointed. Service was fair, had to ask for simple things several times (fork, wine glass). Asked for more bread, never got it, was told it was burnt as others were served bread. If you want bread at this “Italian” restaurant, stop at Costco on your way to dinner. Food was served cool, bland flavorless. Check your bill!!! We were charged substantially higher prices than the menu prices!! When I asked to see a menu after receiving our check, the server looked like a deer in tbe headlights. The excuse was, “we are waiting for our new menus that reflect higher prices due to food costs”
Do not go here if you would like a drink side from water or iced tea. My family went last week and we were told “we don’t have soda” I was shocked!! Very strange. Good was overpriced and not good my chicken was rubbery. The bread and oil was good, very dark. I much prefer Angelo’s in dresher is much much better!
Never got to eat. Waited 15 min. for our wine to be opened. After 30 minutes we just got bread but no one took our order. Couple next to us who sat after us was already into their apps. Hopefully you have a better experience, but not will to spend hard earned money to be ignored. Restaurant was not busy. Staff seems to not care.
We were getting together with good friends tonight and wanted to find a restaurant halfway between us, as we are an hour apart. I saw the reviews on this restaurant and thought it would be a good choice. Our reservation was for 6:15. There were 3 other parties at the restaurant. While our waitress was very pleasant, she gave us our menus and returned 35 seconds later and wanted our order. I explained that we were chatting and had not looked at the menu yet. She walked away came back a minute later and asked if we were ready to order. I explained that we were not ready yet. She then sent the owner over to take our order literally a few seconds later.. So we chose our meals and ordered. My husband and I shared an eggplant appetizer which was average. The couple we were with got the Caprese salad. The tomatoes were pale and tasteless. I ordered a dish that I actually liked- in a hazelnut cream sauce but it had scallops that were burnt and overcooked. The pasta and sauce were tasty. My husband got a pasta dish (Ameritriciano) that was burnt, and the pasta pieces were broken. He said it was horrible. Our friends ordered a veal Parmesan, which was served cold and grossly overcooked it was like a hockey puck. They also got the Bronzino, which was average. A large hunk of white meat from the Bronzino was returned to the kitchen, as the server didn’t feel inclined to fillet the fish completely. By the way, the server was the owner/chef and we were rushed through the meal. They actually tried to remove our dishes while we were still eating and food was on our plate! The bill came instantly. Obviously we didn’t order dessert. We left a bit after 8 pm so it’s not as if we stayed for too long. Would never come here again.
I don’t typically write reviews, but I was so disappointed. The food was pretty good with the exception of the dessert. However, the service was just awful. We had to wait forever to place an order and no one came over to check on us. We had to seek out servers, even when we asked for some thing, it took forever. I was planning to have a birthday dinner here but I will not based on the terrible service. Also, the prices are significantly higher than the prices online. The dish I had was listed online as $24 but was $30
2 separate groups were there at 12:15. The doors were locked and no one answered the phone. Google page shows one number and times while front door has a flyer stating different info. Just got off the phone with "odell" (sp?) who proceeded to curse me out because I inquired about the lack of transparency and no call backs. Claimed he had no voicemails or reservations. Incredibly unprofessional. Couldn't even explain to him the number they have listed on the door is definitely not being answered or monitored. Go at your own risk 🤷
