Southside Cafe American Canyon Reviews
We love Southside! The food is so delicious, the people are so wonderful, and the vibe is so cute. Our favorites on the menu are the Tortilla Soup, the Cauliflower Baja Tacos, the Chilaquiles, the Avocado Toast, and the iced Mocha Naranja. Hope you treat yourself to their abundance of goodies soon!
Southside is a Napa Valley staple for me! They use the freshest ingredients and take care in curating an amazing menu. I was told about this place by a massage therapist at Blue Water Day Spa. They said they have the best fried chicken but little do they know it’s the chilaquiles that’s life changing here! I sub the egg with avo and it is absolutely fantastic. Furthermore, I am usually not a sweets breakfast person, but damn their cornmeal pancake is phenomenal! It’s perfectly crisp and glazed on the edges and you would think you would need maple syrup, but the house made whipped cream does the job! If you are in the area and are looking for a great breakfast/brunch spot, this is the place to go! The aesthetics are beautiful and they always have good music on the turntable. The icing on top, especially for a florist like me, is that they always have beautiful florals decorating the space.
In town from Draper Utah. I like to try new places ( usually non chain restaurants). I'm glad I found this place! As you walk in you are greeted by a very relaxing atmosphere, Whether you are sitting inside or outside. The employees are over the top in their service to you. I had the breakfast sandwich and the Strawberry Hibiscus ( must have!!) You will love this place!!!
The food is amazing and so is the customer service! Erica who attended us was so friendly! Recommend trying the Chilaquiles 10/10!
We have been here several times and always enjoy our meal! My boyfriends favorite is the breakfast sandwich, but most recently I tried the avocado toast and cauliflower tacos and neither disappointed! Their portion sizes are substantial and the food is DELICIOUS! Dog friendly, cute atmosphere, indoor & outdoor seating, good to dine in or take out, and super friendly staff. You can’t go wrong with breakfast/brunch/lunch
We did the Fried Chicken Friday, got the 10 piece bucket, potato salad and English muffins and enjoyed everything. The chicken is really unique in the way it is breaded and flavored, extremely delicious, and same for the potato salad and muffin. Highly recommend checking this place out.
I love going to Southside on Century, convenient location with plenty of seating available inside and outside. I highly recommend the chilaquiles, normally comes with a poached egg but I prefer scrambled. The biscuits are also a favorite, a nice chorizo flavor to them. I did happen to order take out this time around and once I arrived, my order was ready. Definitely a nice place for brunch. Follow up from my previous visit, shoutout to Erica who was very kind and pleasant, she really made us feel welcome. We had to try the tostada this time which was incredible!
Went on a Wednesday morning at around 10 am. Quiet and casual spot with nice interiors. I enjoyed my Tostada Rancheros con Carnitas with avocado. We also got the breakfast sandwich. It was good, but we felt like we should have gotten the barbacoa bowl or the Chilaquiles instead. We got the tamarind agua fresca and the iced almond horchatta latte. Both were really good.
I'll be thinking about that carrot cake for a while. Great lunch bowls as well!
Southside kept me FED & caffeinated during my intensive WSET Level 3 course at Napa Valley Wine Academy 🤤 ☕️ 💪🏾 I had enjoyed their coffee previously but I was blown away by the food & service. The chilaquiles were AMAZING, the salads were flavorful & perfectly dressed, the breakfast sandwich was STACKED with flavor, & the mushroom torta was super creative and packed a punch 🥊 All were delicious. The perfect spot to fill up prior to wine tasting or to recharge midday or to wind down in the early afternoon
Came to Southside Century on a recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint! Fantastic food, very chill, lovely environment. I ordered the Loaded Avocado toast- it was delicious (and DEFINITELY loaded)! I also had the Salted Honey Lavender Latte which was very good, surprisingly salty (but not overwhelming). Overall a wonderful breakfast experience- I will definitely be back!
One of my favorite places for weekend brunch! They have cute patio seating and a great vibe- they play vinyl records in the background. My go-tos are the cornmeal pancake and the barbacoa bowl, always with latte with oat milk. Delicious!
Probably the BEST place in Napa for Breakfast. The staff is amazing and so is the food. If you like a bistro feel...this is ist.

Amazing breakfast! We have been in Napa eating all over town at amazing places, but this one has been the BEST so far!! Chilaquiles were beautifully made, Smokey flavored, perfectly poached eggs. The service was friendly and welcoming!
Tried the chilaquiles and biscuits&gravy, the gravy was unique and flavorful. Everything was delicious.

We ordered the new school avocado toast, kids avo toast and honey lavender latte. Everything was yummy. The avo could have used some more seasoning and salt for our palette. Loved the ambiance.
Food: amazing tastes! Definitely one of my go-to brunch spot in Napa. Their Mocha Naranja is a must try. The refreshing citrus taste and scents elevates the mocha flavor to another level. Service: very welcoming and helpful. Ambiance: simple and aesthetically comfortable. Nice for a quality time with your partner, friends and small family.
The food was very flavorful and fresh. I could taste the spice on the carnitas. The salsa was deep and not too spicy. The chips stayed crisp for a chilaquiles dish. My only request is that there be a way to order a half-portion, because that was all I could eat.
Came here with friends before a long winery day and there was no line on a Saturday morning! Good: - Super fast service, put in an order and got our iced horchata super quick - Loved the horchata - super tasty and sweet - The protein bowl was incredibly tasty too and filling, a little too much hummus in my opinion - Very unique biscuit and gravy - Cute swings and cute ambiance Bad: - Very casual place to eat, no frills and little service Overall liked this place it’s a good find!

It is incredibly disappointing to see a reputable business employing individuals who engage in such disrespectful and openly homophobic behavior—even outside of the workplace. In my personal experience, Henry and Francisco have acted with disrespect on multiple occasions, including harassment, bullying and the use of homophobic slurs directed at members of my family outside of the restaurant. A restaurant should represent safety, hospitality, and respect, yet knowing that employees behave this way beyond the establishment raises serious concerns about the environment they contribute to inside it as well. No customer or community member should ever feel intimidated, judged, or targeted by people who represent a business. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue with urgency. No business should tolerate employees whose behavior creates a hostile, harmful, or unsafe atmosphere for others.
Owner is rude, place is mediocre. They can kick rocks. Also, the food is extremely overpriced for what you get. Breakfast sandwich and coffee was close to 30 dollars all in.

food was scrumptious but henry and francisco are two bullies that think disrespecting people and referring to people as homophobic slurs is okay. i hope this type of behavior does not go on within this establishment as it is simply disgusting and disappointing.
