What Customers Say About ADYA
Adya is a popular spot for flavorful Indian cuisine, especially the daal makhani thali, coconut shrimp curry, and chicken tikka masala. Many appreciate the customizable menu and vegan options. Some found the rice-to-protein ratio in burritos unbalanced and flavor lacking in some dishes.

ADYA Anaheim Reviews
We are visiting from FL and stopped by Adya on Thursday evening. Got the chicken Naanwich and burrito (forgot the name). The best indian food I've tasted! In fact it was so good, we just came back again today and my husband ordered a chicken tandoori 😁 Great location and service.
Great Indian fusion offering a variety of Indian flavors and spices that are easily adopted and liked by everyone's pallets! The service is wonderful, quick and effortless! Loads of place to sit and eat or take it to go. They also have food pick up service though doordash, ubereats and grubhub. I highly recommend giving them a shot!
I've tried most restaurants at the packing district, but not all - and I'm finding it difficult to finish, because I only ever want to eat at Adya. Tucked away in the corner, this quick counter service spot serves up incredibly flavorful dishes. Their curries, biryani, tandoori and fusion offerings are great. Especially be on the lookout for their specials. I had a pav bhaji once that was excellent. I also love that you can watch them cook in the tandoor ovens. It's just a fun and delicious experience overall that you'd do well not to miss.
Delicious Indian food! I ordered the Paneer Masala with Tofu. Perfect amount of spice. It came with basmati rice. I also ordered the Garlic Naan! Perfect for dipping with the sauce.
This spot is located within the Packing House and easy to miss if you don’t cover every corner. The two items we tried were both excellent. On the menu, the Lamb Biryani and Malai Chicken are Halal but there are so many vegetarian and seafood options the difficulty is only what to choose.
This had some of the best food I’ve ever had! The RFC sandwich was incredible! Highly recommend!
Outstanding Indian food with a huge emphasis on serving and turning up the FLAVOR. The Lamb Sloppy Joe sandwich, and the Veggie version are both excellent and a great way to start off a night of grazing and embibing at the Anaheim Packing District. Great price for the portion size.
Everything was super yummy! They had several items that could be made vegan, and I pretty much ordered all of them :) The gentleman working there was friendly and helped me pick out the best vegan dishes. I got a chickpea dish, a lentil dish, a coconut curry dish, some kind of roll, garlic naan, and some type of Indian white wine. We sat at a few of the tables just outside of their kitchen area. I love the Packing District and I'll probably eat at Adya again!
Got the blues? Eat here to feel human again. Flavors that warm your soul, with not overpowering spices like some Indian places, but spices that highlight the main ingredients of the dish. Best coconut shrimp curry I’ve ever had. Garlic naan cooked perfectly. Saag paneer with fresh ingredients. Light, delectable, and creamy raita. Biryani rice with coconut flavor you can actually taste. I can’t say enough about how amazing Chef Shachi and Sandeep’s recipes are timeless, and priceless. Some may complain that the prices are high here, but you get what you’re paying for. Luxurious flavors in a casual setting. Treat yourself to some Adya!
Pretty good spot. Food is made to order to expect to wait. They give you a buzz pager, but I don't know the range so it's best to stay relatively close. I got a drink at Hammer Bar, and it worked from there. For is DELICIOUS. I enjoyed every bite. Totally recommend this place, and I'll definitely come back. I always end up trying the same places when I'm in this building. Glad I ventured out and tried this one.
Adya is my wife’s and my go to Indian spot for any special occasion. We absolutely adore the food, but almost singularly purchase the same dish every time: daal makhani thali will garlic naan. This is our favorite dish in all the world…and my wife is from India! So you know it is not only authentic but deliciously prepared. Chopped winner and co-owner Shachi Mehra knows what she is cooking.

I highly recommend Adya in Anaheim, CA for catered events. The food was excellent, even better than the restaurant. The service and setup were professional, and the menu was customizable.
Great chicken tikka masala and channa masala and possibly the best garlic nan I’ve ever had. Nice fresh IPA on tap too. We haven’t noticed much Indian food on our trips around the USA but this matched most of our favourite curry houses in the UK and Australia.

Pretty good food, I got the chicken tikka masala burrito. Flavorful, but mainly rice. Their Indian hot sauce was decent too. Garlic naan was really good 4.50$ for two pieces.
Among the many eateries inside the Anaheim Packing District, I chose Adaya, as it had been a while since I last had Indian food. The vibrant wall posters and the image of the chef stirred my craving for something flavorful. However, my choice of Chicken Tikka Masala felt like it was missing something, and the naan didn't quite meet my expectations. On a positive note, the masala tea was enjoyable.
The chicken tikki masala is the best item on the menu! Try that! The rice would have been tastier with some more spice and heat.
Overall the food was good. Good solid flavors Food. We served hot. One issue with the chicken tikki marsala burrito. See my pictures of the menu description and then see my picture of what's actually inside. My daughter was disappointed with the off menu stuff that was in the burrito.
Nice and small place to get polished Indian food. The good was quite flavorful with many options in the way. The food portions were good for the price. Ordered some indo Chinese food such as cauliflower Manchurian with rice and two chicken dish combos. Would recommend it to all.

Place has some decent dishes, but I do have some complaints. I had the keema naan (5.99 stuffed with ground meat). It was pretty good, meat patty inside was fluffy and wasn't a solid brick of meat inside. I also had the goat cheese naan (5.99). Very moist and, but more slightly burnt. See the photos where it is on top of the tikka masala I then had the lamb seekh kabab (14.49) this was the best part of the items I tried. Lemon rice was firm and had a nice citrus flavour. Kababs were moist and plenty of spices in them. I did like the mint dressing that came with the salad. The chicken tikka masala (13.99) was the most disappointing part of the meal. It was served with basmati rice that was not too fragrant. Chicken breast was fine inside the cup: I had about seven 2 oz portions. They were pretty good and have a good neutral flavour. The sauce on the other hand was not good for me. It was fresh yes, but was so off in flavour from most sauces I had. It was kind of watery, had way too many tomato in it and had little spices at all. I would not get this again. The photo I provided may decieve you, those have the naan on top of it. You get the side of rice and the cup of masala. That's it. A fourth of the menu is blocked out. Please again see the photos. My impression is that portions are a little bit small for what you pay for. If I had to go again, I would take the keema naan and the lamb seekh kabab as they have the better value.

Visited on 2/24 and wanted to give this place a chance. Started with the Samosa Chaat, the 2 pieces were freshly fried but chick peas & sauces were cold. Chicken Tikka Masala was on the sweet side and lacked flavor & meat in the Lamb Briyani was super tough. Overall the temp of our food was barely even warm (only hot thing were the samosas cos they were fried). Terrible for waiting 30 mins & spending almost $80. Not worth it!!
Food was just abysmal. Got the vegetable biryani and samosa chat and I couldn’t finish it. There was no flavor. It was just rice with steamed vegetables. Do not recommend. My friends got the chicken tikka and vegetable curry special and both were very disappointing.

Worst Indian I’ve eaten in a long time. I ordered a burrito and it was 95% flavorless rice and like 4 pieces of bland paneer. Ordered a ctm - their signature dish. Similar ratio of carbs to protein. Resting on laurels of a celebrated chef from 10 years ago. Underwhelming. Go to Georgias instead for delicious fried chicken. If I didn’t have to wait 20 minutes being the first customer, I’d be less annoyed.
