Really great option for breakfast. It was about $60 per person and they add their own tip. There are a ton of different options from yogurt to chicken and waffles. It was spacious inside so it wasn't crammed. A great spot to jump on the monorail and go to the park. The staff is friendly and answered any and all questions we had.
Honestly impressed, we had a travel ball game and needed to feed our littles. We decided to do something fun and chose goofys kitchen. When you get to the hotel you get to valet park for upto three hours and it's validated, when you enter the hotel you have access to walk around the grounds or go right in and take photos with the characters. The staff was friendly. Our waiter was so kind on made our family experience even better. We were very impressed with the food, we didn't expect much because it was buffet style but they had plenty of options for the kids and adults and they were all delicious. The characters come by and individually greet each family, take photos and interact with the kids. There were 3 different parades with the characters while we were eating. Our family enjoyed the experience and we have a range between toddler to teenagers.
Absolutely amazing family fun experience with characters that come to your table. The food is beyond amazing. Steak, tri-tip, pizza, salad, fresh fruit. We had such a wonderful time. Be sure to make a reservation and bring your autograph book. If you don’t have one, you can pick one up at the Disney store.
My family absolutely loves coming to Goofy’s Kitchen when we visit Disneyland. The food this visit was extra great - really appreciated the prime rob, au jus, creamy horseradish the mashed potatoes with a really delicious red wine infused gravy. They had some wonderful chilled shrimp and for kids they had many corn dogs, mac & cheese, pizza, and a ton of desserts. In addition, they had salads, salmon and fruit and vegetables - too many options to mention. Just a wonderful selection of delicious. Sorry I didn’t get dinner pictures. We were too hungry and ate too fast but here’s some dessert pictures.
Great experience! The food was very good and we had wonderful moments with the characters.
It was such a fun time the characters for sure had a lot of energy the food was so good especially the juicy fruit the place is so kid friendly
We had such a good time and enjoyed the intensively Disney experience. So much fun to have the characters come to you while enjoying a gourmet spread at the buffet.
Such a lovely and adorable place to dine. I really enjoyed interacting with the characters Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale who were very kind, engaging and thoughtful. Some of the foods were very unique for a buffet, such as peanut butter jelly pizza, marshmallow pizza, Mickey shaped waffle, whole strawberries, etc. I saw lots of birthday celebrations where the staff bring a cupcake and sing the birthday song. The characters are especially good with kids and seemed to be experts at making them laugh. Would love to come back when I revisit Disneyland in the future.
We had the BEST time at Goofys kitchen. Upon arriving, the decor was on point, food buffet had a WIDE variety (was able to get pizza for my toddler at 7am!) and service was top notch! The characters are fun and interactive. The price is high, but the memories are worth it!
The dinning experience was awesome! Did the brunch time frame and it was great. There was both breakfast and lunch during that time and the food was good, there was lots of food options. We had great interaction with the characters, this is tailored more for children so if you're looking for a quiet sit down then this is not it. I enjoyed our first time here and do plan to visit again soon. Our server was attentive and they sang happy birthday to my son which was so fun and appreciative
An Unforgettable Birthday Bash at Goofy's Kitchen! My recent birthday celebration at Goofy's Kitchen was an absolute blast, and I couldn't recommend it more highly! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was outstanding. It was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and seasoned to perfection – a true delight for everyone's taste buds. Beyond the delicious meal, the staff and characters were wonderfully friendly and thoughtful, making the experience even more magical. My friends and I truly "had a ball" thanks to their engaging presence and the overall vibrant atmosphere. If you're looking for a fun, delicious, and memorable dining experience, especially for a special occasion, Goofy's Kitchen is a must-visit! We would all highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.
For a buffet, the food was really good! Wait staff was on point. The Disney characters were very interactive. There always seemed to be at least one in our area. The kids had a great time 😊
I love Goofy’s Kitchen. Everytime we go it’s always a good time and the food is really good. It may be on the pricey side but we paid about $60 per person. You can also order drinks and take many pictures with the characters. My husband had a good time and he enjoyed it a lot. 💕 Will be back soon!
Took our son for the first time. He had a blast! A lot of food selections during the dinner buffet. Carving station, salad station, kids area and tons of desserts. Photos are included with the meal. You can take them before while you wait to be seated or after. Best to make a reservation ahead of time. We only waited 30 minutes without reservations and took our pictures before we ate. Tons of Birthdays while we were there. Awesome to have everyone sing Happy Birthday and the characters come to do a meet and greet. Also they do a dance around the restaurant as everyone cheers them on. Adults were $55 each and $32.50 for a 3 year old. If you have a Disney Credit card, Debit card and season passes. Will help with a discount. Gratuity is automatically included with tax.
We had a party of 7 and many places were not able to accommodate us. It was the first trip for three of our children and one had their birthday while there. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere was great. Every 20 minutes or so the characters came through and danced. They brought a cut cupcake and sang to our birthday girl. The food was really good and fresh. We loved the entire experience and we will absolutely go again.
Just loved the service, everyone is so aware of the needs of kids on spectrum even the characters, it allowed our son to take time and enjoy them. Food was great for vegetarians and also calorie conscious too. Big salad selection and a wide buffet of desert that kids would love.
WOW! WOW! WOW! An amazing experience that our entire group enjoyed.! Well worth the money spent. Above and beyond in every detail. 100% satisfaction! MOST ENJOYED EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!!!! Thank you too all involved in this attraction!
This was the best dining experience we had in the parks. The kids loved it and everyone could find something to eat that they liked. It’s typical buffet food. I recommend chorizo pizza & eggs Benedict if you go for breakfast. Atmosphere: Goofy & friends visit you while you eat. There’s antics, singing/napkin twirling, and plenty of families. You won’t feel uncomfortable or like it’s uptight. The check In process was easy. 2 of our party members got stuck in traffic on the way and they were able to accommodate a later time no problem and didn’t make us feel bad about it at all. The whole experience was magical and very much what you expect of Disney. If you have something to celebrate let your waiter know. They sign autographs too.
I'm leaving this review for Minnie Mouse. She is wonderful. A character parade around the dining hall had started and she was put in an awkward situation to leave a large family in the middle of greeting them (they required several pictures) potentially disappointing them, or join the parade. I think she chose right, she avoiding disappointing a family with a young child who was about to leave. Then, since the parade was nearly over after seeing them, she visited our table and absolutely made our little girl's day. Unfortunately, when she went to presumably check in, I heard one of the staff say "come on Minnie" in a tone that didn't seem to be a joke. I felt a bit bad for her because this man didn't have all the context and she handled an awkward decision with grace. 5 stars to the Minnie Mouse actress for her grace.
Buffets are generally disgusting, but in true disney fashion, they made the mundane exceptional. That charicters spent lots of time at each table, the food was on point, and no villians were in sight.
Wow "Goody's Kitchen" an Amazing experience. We enjoyed our visit. Amazing customer service, everything is awesome. I was very impressed with this place. "Mind blowing" My son he have a blast! Worth every penny! The food is very good for a buffet is great very flavorful. The best part is that you create an Amazing memory! One thing is you need to make a reservation if you want to eat here, in advance.
Its a little fancier buffet with tables and booths. The characters you see are pluto, you get a picture with goofy, chip, dale and minnie you might see Mickey we didn't when I went for my sister birthday. There was stuff for pickey eaters and then they're things like shrimp and eggs Benedict so you'll find something for everyone. My sister had a gluten allergy and the chef made her waffles and brought her around on what she can and cant eat, at the end for her birthday they brought a gluten free brownie The waitress made her a special pin it was an amazing experience we would go again!
What a great experience! It's very well organized and the service is impeccable! Our server was outstanding in keeping everything on our table, drinks filled, any requests quickly fulfilled, and with a smile! The food!! Yum!! Served Buffet style with so many choices, all delicious! Of course, various Disney characters made their rounds throughout the restaurant visiting every table, providing hugs and photo Ops for all the excited children and their families. It was a delightful experience worthy of Disneyland!
I booked here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and wasn't disappointed. Our server gave us buttons and a cupcake with candles! It was a lovely surprise! The characters came to our table numerous times. Our sever made sure Pluto made his way to us once we informed him we hadn't seen em yet. The restaurant is decorated real CUTE. We loved u get a complimentary photo before hand. All kinds of diffrent eggs and potatos to choose from (breakfast)
Our 2 year old granddaughter and 8 adults loved every minute of the game experience! They were lovely with a photo of the birthday girl and her parents AND then a photo with ALL OF US. THE CHARACTERS made sure to stop by our table often and she loved seeing them. The food service was very attentive. The food choices were amazing and delicious. A must for the whole family. The only negative is we didn’t now we should have parked in the hotel parking to get validation. So had to pay $40😳
So much fun! I’m 15 and went for the first time in 9 years last night. If you think dining with characters is lame, you’re lame. The food is good for the most part and the characters spend more time with you than they do in the parks.
Absolutely a fantastic place ! I cannot say enough good things ! It was an amazing experience with memories that will last ! I strong recommend going if you have the chance! magnificent moments Everyone should go there at least once in a life time to enjoy, for both kids and adults, with awesome actors that will interect and make you feel in the middle of the whole things
So much fun! Worth the price, u get a picture with goofys before eating! They have tons of vegan options, the chef came out to show us the vegan options and the food that he could made for us in the kitchen!! The characters are so much fun they come to your table to take pics every 15/20 min!! So worth it!
Food was delicious- many options. We went for breakfast and they had some lunch stuff out for kids. Lots of fruit, omelette station, mickey waffles, mickey pancakes- I mean just anything and everything you could think of. The process set up seems to run smoothly, just overall a great experience.
This is one of the better character breakfasts available. Smaller space which gives more time to enjoy. The buffet is incredible. All the regular breakfast options but also a wide variety of lunch choices and a great dessert buffet.
If this was just an all-you-can-eat buffet it would be ok. The character interactions make it worth going at least once. The tri-tip was delicious. Left very full and happy.
Amazing experience! We booked this for our first night in town, and it's the perfect first thing to do the day before you go to Disneyland. The food is wonderful and the interactions you get with the characters are truly magical. You do need your entire party present to be seated. And after you check in, you get to take a photo with Goofy before you are seated. My niece loved this for her birthday dinner. You truly feel special here, and it's worth the splurge.
Check in early and get in line for pics. If you’re not staying at the hotel, they will validate parking for you after you check in. They will send you a text message when they are about to call your name. When you sit down, wait to order your drinks with your weight stuff before going for the buffet. The characters will go to each table and there’s a character parade about every 20 minutes, so don’t worry about not being able to see the characters. If you are celebrating a birthday or something special, they will even bring you a little cupcake. The characters you get to see are Chip (dark nose) & Dale (light brown nose), Pluto, Minnie and Goofy. Gratuity is included.
I loved it here, the food was great, the character interactions are great and visiting goofy on the way in is totally fun, I love how tall that guy is! I mean yeah it’s just way too bad that it was $100 per person! We even split OJ and one alcoholic drink, a Michelada that was aight. The waiter is great and everything is clean enough but it is a little hard to avoid that steep price. Be aware when coming here that you’re going to be spending a lot.
My 2.5 year old had the time of his life here. They have everything a kid could want to eat! The food is actually really good! I had the chicken and waffle pizza and it was bomb! They have a huge ice cream and dessert bar. The best part about this place is that you don’t need a park ticket to come here! It’s great to do on your last day of Disney. The characters came to our table multiple times and they do a little parade with a song and everyone waves their napkin. My lil boy had the best time ever and it was definitely worth it! The dining room is cozy and I’m begging Disney to keep it that way and don’t update it! It has a nostalgic Disney feel to it. :) oh! And you get complimentary valet! That was so nice.
We were hesitant to go because of the expense and our kids (5 and 3) were nervous around the Disney characters the day before, however, I am so glad we went! Our kids loved it, even though they didn't get too close to the characters (out of fear)...other kids were hugging and giving high fives! The characters were dancing all around! It was fun! The food is amazing, wow, so many incredible options! I was blown away by the food! We had heard a number of negative comments, but it was fantastic! The wait staff was so friendly as well! You get a picture with Goofy before going into the restaurant (it is included in the cost). All regular drinks and food are included in the price. You can order specialty drinks if you want. Gratuity was included for large groups. The experience (Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Chip and Dale), breakfast food, tax, and tip was about $37 per child and roughly $64 per adult. It is expensive, but it is worth it for the experience and incredible food! I would highly recommend it! It exceeded my expectations!
First time experience while celebrating my Nieces 4th Birthday with the family!! The 8 of us had a wonderful experience, the food was fresh and the staff were so accommodating and friendly! The characters coming out were a real treat and the staff came out to sing happy birthday and also were able to take pictures with the characters. They stopped by frequently which was a plus. The food was exceptional. The vegan strawberry chia seed pudding, the sweet and spicy chicken, the pizza and Mickey waffles were by far my favorite. Will definitely return even as an adult you really do feel the nostalgia and like a big kid!
Loved how each character interacted with all the littles ... They loved the attention they got from them and I know it made the best memories for them. The brunch is definitely the time to go so you can try the breakfast and the lunch. Food was delicious, flavorful and a great variety. Make sure you are ready for the entire price but it is worth it for the memories.
We had such a great time at Goofy’s Kitchen in Anaheim! The person who seated us, Maggy, was absolutely wonderful full of energy, super friendly, and made every single guest feel special. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and really set the tone for a fun dining experience. People like her truly make a difference and make you want to come back. Thank you, Maggy, for making our visit extra magical! 💫🍽️
Don't let the reviews here discourage you. We had an amazing time. From the start to finish, decent food, friendly staff, and best of all you get to have multiple characters come to your table as you eat. When we went to check in, we first got to take a picture wit Goofy. They even ask if you have anyone that may have allergies, and have the chef come directly to your table to give you suggestions on what to get. The chef was nice and was even able to make waffles or pancakes without any egg inside just for my kid. I was worried getting Brunch that there wouldnt been that much food, but breakfast, but to my surprise they had other items like sweet and spicy salmon, chicken and much more. I would say the Omlette Station and Eggs Benedict was one of my go to's on my 2nd and 3rd round. You get to order many different drinks, even coffee that comes with the meal. My wife was able to get a special cupcake and a song for her birthday celebration. We would love to go back sometime, keep in mind that this is not at disneyland but at the disneyland hotel. If you have kids that have not taken pictures with some of the characters, it can be overwhelming to do so. This experience makes it so much easier as they are really friendly, and by the time we were about to leave, my kid was trying to give high fives to any character he saw. Until next time !
A really really cool place for kids and a family that desite the full Disney character experience. Make a reservation (It's a solid level buffet) with your reservation you get a free full scheme photo with Goofy for your kid or family.the cool thing is about every 20 minutes 3 or 4 Disney characters do a mini Hey everybody welcome musical performance thru the entire restaurant. Also, each character walks around the restaurant to say hello and greet every table and interact with everyone. The buffet is better than avg with standard kids type menu selections and actually higher level or quality selections. Great salad and fruit selections and a desert bar on steroids that had probably 10-15 options. The staff was great, and the real reason I am writing this is because of their staff that interacted with us named Tyrone. Tyrone went above and beyond the norm to make us feel at home. He wasn't even our server but just stopped to check in on us and we had a great few conversation with him, and he offered some Disney Experience tips because he has worked with them for over 25 years. This was the first place we went when we got to Disneyland for the weekend. For my family, Tyrone made us feel like we were where we should be and in store for a super weekend. it was a great way to start our experience. Tyrone went out of his way to make sure we were all happy as a family, and my family truly appreciated his extra effort. Trust me I wrote all of this because of Tyrone!!! Great customer service goes a long way in our book and Tyrone should be commended by management/supervisors for his efforts and just being himself 🏆🏅👍🏻👍🏻 5⭐️'s for Tyrone
Service was top notch! Greeted with a free picture with Goofy and Claribell! The buffet had a nice selection from Lobster to Chilaquiles, turkey and prime rib! Of course plenty for the kiddos like pizza and chicken tenders. Theres also gluten free options ask the chef! Plenty of pastries and desserts like Jello! 🍦 🍨 🍕 It's pricy but sure you need to do once for the kiddos!
Upon arrival you need to check in on your phone. You can do this 20 minutes before. After checking in you go to the front desk in the restaurant and check in there as well. Then you are sent to stand in line to meet goofy! You’re allowed to give goofy a hug and take a picture or video and get an autograph! Then shortly after that you are seated at your table. You then go serve yourself at the buffet where there are plenty of choices of food and desserts!!! My favorite was the bbq pizza!!!! Characters dance around the tables and lobby every 20 minutes . When the music starts and gets loud that’s when they come out and dance you then wave your napkins in the air and cheer as they dance! Characters come to your table and meet you and sign autographs and take pics with you. They all work their way around to every table! Our waitress name was Barbara she was super rude! All of us got Diet Coke except for 1 my husband got regular coke and she gave us all refills except for him! So we asked if he can get a refill and she rudely replied “does it look like I have coke here” with attitude and rolls her eyes! Than we told her someone in our party has a birthday and she replies “ya I already know that”! There are some hidden fees so just be aware of that! Other than our rude waitress we had a wonderful experience!!! The characters we got to meet that were there was Goofy,Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dal! If I got the chance to do it again I’d definitely do it again!
Absolute must have reservation. Had one for 9:25 am. Said we could checkin at 9:05. We did and were seated fairly quick. You get free pictures with goofy that you receive virtually. You’re gratuity and tax is all included in the cost of the reservation. The buffet is excellent, lots of nice choices. Saw pancakes, waffles, breakfast pizza, dessert pizza, made to order food stations. They had chicken strips for chicken and waffles. Plus tons of pastries, desserts, fruit, ice cream. I think I even saw Mac and cheese. This is a great option for anyone. Even if you are a picky eater. The characters do a parade around the dining room, and come to you’re table. We saw all the characters on the floor in around an hour or so. Wait staff was attentive and kind. My husband and I had a great conversation with Zach who I believe was a character attendant. I’d definitely be back for this buffet again
Second time eating here. It's a fun time with the family. It'll be pricey but the buffet is worth it and has variety. The character atmosphere is great for the kids. Adults without kids can get a good meal also.
Our favorite way to kick-off out Disneyland Vacations. I have a family of very picky eaters. Finding one place where everyone can find something they like is nearly impossible. Goofy's Kitchen has so many options that everyone can find something and everything is not just good, it's next level. Also, the character interactions are a lot of fun. The cast members are excellent and stopping by and spending just enough time with everyone, with high fives, fist bumps, hugs and quick photos. Something fun and delicious for everyone.
Goofy’s Kitchen was a highlight of our trip. I went in a little skeptical because some reviews mentioned the food was just “okay,” but that couldn’t have been further from our experience. The dinner buffet was surprisingly delicious. The salmon was incredible (so good I went back for thirds) and there was an impressive variety of options. Even my picky 5 year old found plenty to eat and actually tried new foods, which says a lot. There was so much food that we even brought some pizza back to the hotel (I keep Ziploc bags in my purse at Disneyland because leftovers with kids are inevitable, even when you try to be conservative with portions). Between the quality and variety, this meal felt like real value. The character interactions were outstanding. Every character made sure to meet everyone at our table, and they were playful, engaging, and genuinely fun, never rushed. There were also multiple dance party moments throughout the dinner service that kept the energy high without being overwhelming. A really special touch: everyone receives a Goofy’s Kitchen button, similar to the celebration buttons in the parks, and photos with Goofy or other characters are taken by a cast member before or after the meal and are included with dinner. It made the experience feel extra magical without any added stress or upsells. This was the perfect introduction to character dining for my child’s first Disneyland trip. No long lines, no pressure, no awkward waiting. He felt comfortable sitting at the table with his food and had something easy to talk about with the characters, which made the whole experience relaxed and joyful. Goofy’s Kitchen delivered on food, fun, and memories. We will absolutely be back.
My family had a wonderful experience here. I have several food allergies and I felt they really went above and beyond to make sure I had enough options. They even brought out several desserts for me since I was not able to have any of the desserts that were out at the buffet. My daughter had a really great time meeting all of the characters and keeps asking to go back.
The Goofy’s Kitchen Character dining experience is a little bit of magic. We came for dinner, and checked in upon arrival. We got our picture taken with Chef Goofy, with no rush, and a few minutes later were called in and shown to our table and got our Goofy’s Kitchen buttons. The service was excellent and there was a good selection of food. Both members of our party left full and satisfied. All our interactions - with Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale were excellent. While I was initially skeptical if the experience was worth the cost, I left feeling like it was a strong “yes” for us.
Went to have breakfast for my daughters birthday since she is a huge Disney fan. The characters came by the table several times and we got lots of pictures. A huge selection of breakfast/brunch items to choose from, plus desserts. The staff was great and even though it was busy they came by the table several times. At the end they brought a special Birthday cup cake with a candle.
Dined here as apart of the full Disney experience. Great selection of foods including pizza, omelets, charcuterie items, breads, pastries, fruits, salads, cereals, & plenty of deserts to choose from. The staff team were just amazing with accommodations and cooks were friendly. I recommend reserving a time for your family at this must visit buffet if you are in for the full Disney experience! Breakfast has always been the best for there is usually the least amount of other dinners and the food selection is at its prime. Far better than any other buffet I have visited!
Great for little ones to experience! You need a reservation and you have a 15 min grace period. We went before Disneyland opened but even then the parking garage for Disney took forever so leave super early! There's no way to call the restaurant to tell them you're running late and they charge a no show fee, so plan accordingly. The decor is so cute, its like cartoon stylized plates and decorations at the buffet. We saw chip, dale, and Minnie in the dining area and you get a photo with Goofy before going in. No charge to get those photos vs in the park where they watermark it. They have a wide and strange variety of foods. Mostly breakfast but maybe it changes for lunch and dinner. The pancakes and waffles and such are mickey shaped. They also have absurd sweets available for the kids, which the kids nearby seemed to like for dessert. The lil characters come around for photos and it was adorable! We didn't see Minnie but I'm sure if we wanted to We could've asked. The staff and servers are great and it's insanely kid friendly. I wouldn't go often though, it's so expensive, and not for older kids, I think they'd think it's corny. But a one time event with a little one elementary aged or younger I would say is the best. (Ours was 7 months and likes the mascots but...he won't remember haha)
We took the Family for Dinner. The Grandkids had an Amazing time. The Characters came around several times and stopped to play with and hug our 4 year old Grandson. He was so excited to see them, and they really played it out for him. Mini Mouse was Amazing and so attentive with him. He said, "PaPa! Thank you for a really, really, really great night!" Our waitress was all over it and made sure our Son Inlaw was well taken care of with his Gluten allergies. She brought the Chef out and he personally walked the Buffet with him, explaining everything that he could and couldn't eat. Thank you Guy's for making this special for ourFamily. We really enjoyed our time together.
This was a fun and belly filling experience. My toddler loved the character experience more than anything else. Personally, I thought the food selection was on point and had something for kids and adults. Service by the waiting staff was on point and very friendly. Our waiter was kind to our little one and served us well. The place is busy, but yet the staff kept a good job of keeping the venue clean. Finished plates were quickly wicked away. The only negative was the waiting for the final character to come by our table and all the tables in our section. I won't say which one, but we had to wait over 40 minutes after we had finished eating. Some of the other characters came back a second time too lol. I could tell the wait staff wanted to help us and did what they could, but I still got that feeling "we need you to go". Our total time there was just over 2.5 hours. But, could have done well before 90 min I think. Recommend 100% because everything else was amazing.
Took son for his birthday. He was excited to be there. We loved the food, the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. You get to take pictures with all the characters. It's pricey but worth it for the kids. The waiters are also great and attentive. Remember to make reservations and expect a wait time.
The atmosphere and food has gone way down since they opened back up from COVID. Several trays were empty and patrons had to wait for the omelet guy to tell somebody to fill them. They're way overpriced, charged us for my grandson that's not even 3 yet; didn't notice until we got home. The characters are fun but the kids didn't dance with them around the restaurant, it wasn't very interactive and there were only four characters. Our second table was pretty much ignored when the characters showed up because there was a young boy 13 that maybe they didn't think he mattered. Disappointed is being kind to them for spending almost $900.
This is a must do for families with younger children. The price is expensive but with the price you meet 5-6 Disney characters which is priceless when you see your kids faces! The characters come to your table and interact with all the kids and any adult who wants to participate. We met Goofy, Minneapolis, Pluto, Chip, and Dale.
Had dinner here. It was pretty good. The offerings are on the more childish side, but assuming you are going with kids, that’s a good thing. Or if you’re an adult who just enjoys those foods. Like me. Dinner was $43 for an adult, on a Saturday in May. I’m not sure if that price changes based on “season”. So on to the food. Nothing was bad. I was however sad that the famous peanut butter and jelly pizza had a super hard crust. All the other pizzas were soft. I tried a slice of pb&j from a couple pizzas they put out, but they were all crispy. Boo. The savory foods were all good, and there’s a decent variety to pick from. The desserts were also extensive. And very good. The characters all came to the table, multiple times even, and were a hoot. Kids loved it, as did an otherwise grumpy grandma. Definitely worth a trip. I think breakfast would be a better choice though.
Disneyland clearly is making money here but clearly does not care about the Guest here and the Guest's experience. The Buffet of Popcorn Shrimp, Fruit loop Casserole, and basically below average.. everything else, Chicken Nuggets, Corn chowder soup, Jellow. Truly disappointing... the Songs they make the workers dance to sound like an either a Hertz Rental car commercial song or something that is just mumbled through and made up along the way. The guy Serving and cutting the Meats from the either Ham or Roast gives these tiny pieces and if you plead for more. Grudgingly he will cut you and even smaller piece to place on your plate. Goofy's Kitchen is simular to a Home Town buffet that resembles an unmanaged restaurant in a poorer part of Detroit or Flint Michigan(before they went out of business). I live in LA and I expect and don't mind spending money... I do Grammy's, VIP suites, SkyClubs and all of Disneyland's Restaurants including Club 33. I don't quite understand it.. Disney charges quite a bit $55 adult 35 child for a Hot Dog and Peanut Butter Jelly buffet. Maybe they just do not understand who their guests are which is so surprising since they seem to invest in surveyors asking exiting guests about eating experiences. My feeling is Disney just does not care or just don't think much of the people that visit and dine at Goofy's Kitchen. I did not think any of the guests appeared to be lower class in my opinion...however my opinion seems to not be shared by Disneyland. Well, after revisiting Goofy's Kitchen in May 2024 I'm grateful that Disneyland most likely read my 2023 review and made significant changes. The food was top rated...Crab Claws even ...so I'm going to change my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Thank you Disneyland for improving Goofy's kitchen..It's probably worth going to nowadays. May 2024.
Food is decent, but you come for the experience. We had to ask for the characters to come visit our table as they came to the room several times without a visit. Also, apparently Mickey and the heavy hitters took the night off because we only saw Chip n Dale...Minnie and Pluto
Great buffet. A variety of food and dessert choices. Although a buffet, you have a server for drinks and to remove plates. Gratuity was added for a party of 8. Price per adult was $60. They had character walk throughs and had a photo pass with Goofy at the beginning. The photo pass was free in our situations.
I've been there several times with my family, and it's pretty awesome. The characters join you at your table and do things to make you laugh and fall more in love with them. The food is good but their coffee is better! Oh, and their alcoholic drinks are also really good. Memorable experience with my family every time. ❤️❤️
Had a great time with all the characters. They did a great job going around to each table to interact with everyone! Food was fine. Normal buffet food. Service was fine too. But will be back back have a great experience with my kids. Worth it for them
Had a great breakfast buffet and character experience here at Goofy’s Kitchen. The characters were very friendly and interacting and came to the table very quickly. The food was tasty. Pretty much what you would expect from a buffet at a resort. An assortment of American breakfast foods plus some bakery items and fruit. Plus an omelette station. The drinks were very good too. Had some tasty coffee plus I had a really nice Mimosa Flight.
Make reservations! Goofy photo up front and there's usually 4 characters rotating and running around to each table. My daughter loved it! Bring a pen and paper so they can do some signatures. Come here for the character hang out and not for the food. The best thing on the buffet menu was the carving station beef and turkey with grilled pineapple. I'm not a big dessert guy, but this was half of the place. There was also a peanut butter and jelly pizza. $65 per adult and $35 per child with gratuity included (before drinks, which are bonkers expensive).
I came in the day before Halloween. We took a picture with Goofy, had a very large (all-you-can-eat) and delicious meal after a long-walk at Disneyland, and enjoyed the company of Chip, Dale, Minnie, and Pluto. I had salmon and mole chicken, some of my favorites. People should make a reservation online, which is not hard to do! Workers will help you find the restaurant if needed. I am giving Googy’s Kitchen 4 stars due to the excessive price. An 18% gratuity was included, making the price per adult be about $100 after taxes. However, one should expect their experience here to be unforgettable.
Goofy’s Kitchen is quite chaotic. We had a reservation for 8:20 pm, checked in, and had to wait about 45 minutes. I understand that delays can happen, but this wait was excessive. Our server was pleasant but seemed to focus more on another table, making us wait a long time for the check. The food is good. Don’t expect anything too fancy, but I was satisfied by the end of the evening. Character interactions are fantastic, and we loved the new themed costumes. Since we were there near the end of the evening, all characters visited us multiple times.
U go for the experience. My daughter wanted to come here for her 5th birthday. I loved how all the characters remembered that she was there for her 5th birthday. They go to ur table multiple times. I thought the food was good. But others at the table just thought it was ok. My server Mario was great. My son kept asking why he was always so happy, and my mom said we'll he must love his job which is great!. It was 382 total for 3 adults and 2 kids, so this is definitely a splurge
2nd time going here and 1st time during HalloweenTime! 👻 Unfortunately, our experience wasn't so great due to being seated right underneath the coldest vent. We were frigid the whole time. Our "hot" drinks were barely lukewarm and had to be replaced several times. Our food got cold so fast. Even our server acknowledged we were at the coldest table of the whole place, but nothing could be done even though there were 6 empty tables around us. Couldn't wait to get out of there!
We came here for breakfast the day we were headed home. The Characters were awesome, my kids loved the experience. The food was okay, not amazing, but some good selection. The price was crazy - certainly not worth it for the food, but the experience was fun.
I strictly recommend Goofy’s kitchen for the experience! It’s not a guarantee that you’ll get to take pictures or me close to Goofy, Minnie, Pluto or the Chip and Dales. We went for our bday and it is a lot of fun! While you wait for your reserved table you can take pictures with Goofy! The characters come out every 15 to 20 mins. The food was mediocre and over priced. There are a lot of sweets if you have a mega sweet tooth! We went for brunch and alcoholic drinks are not included in the buffet. For 3 ppl, (kids under 3 are free) we spent over $200 dollars since we did order alcoholic drinks. The kids had a great time so that justified the price. This is definitely a one time experience for us!
Food is decent, service was not great we saw our waiter once only saw bussers picking up plates mainly. Only 1 character came by our table. We pay for the experience and did not get a great one. This was my 2nd time coming here and it was the exact same way last time too. Only great thing was being able to get pictures with Goofy prior to dinner.
It's Disney so it's way overpriced, you can expect that. Unfortunately, the food isn't great either. It's a buffet so you can tell stuff has been sitting out a while and maybe leaning toward stale - French toast sticks were very hard, potatoes very hard either bc they were undercooked or had just sat too long. I was personally excited for the seasonal offerings, except for some unknown reason they didn't have the pumpkin French toast this am. The server didn't know why. The dining room is pretty drab and outdated. The bright point - The characters are outstanding. They are very sweet and make the visit special. They are on about a 40 minute rotation so if you're there more than forty minutes, they'll run the same parade and the characters may come back for a second visit. We were there less than an hour and ate a fairly normal /small amount of food so it probably wasn't worth it and will be a one time experience for us.
My family and I were here last week and I wish my review were better. I’ll start off by saying the food was good. A lot of pumpkin flavored food but that comes with the season. You also get the picture with Goofy which is really cool. The first issue is you’re promised characters when you sit down. They say every character comes to every table. Yet we’d been there over and hour and not 1 character came by. They were going to every other section in a rotation, but skipping ours. We asked the server, who sent the host, who sent the manager, where they were. Eventually just Minnie and a Chipmunk came, and that was it. The second issue was even though we made a reservation, we waited almost 20 minutes to be seated. I absolutely understand it’s a popular place, but seemed a little long. Really cute place but I was disappointed.
Remember that you’re paying for the experience not the food. It’s fun to see Chip, Dale, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy but $75 a person for Golden-Corral level food seems on par with most of Disney’s dining. Your kids will enjoy it but don’t expect to be blown away. It was fine but $75 for mediocre food is silly.
It isn’t like how it used to be. The character meet and greets seemed very rushed and not as animated as usual. The service was absent on refills. Brought drinks once and never refilled. Only had Chip, Dale, and Daisy stop by the table. Are Chip and Dale still relevant today? For $80 a person after included gratuity. It’s just not worth it. Had much better experiences in the park with characters.
I don't think this experience is worth the price but it was nice. Basically Golden Corral quality food. The Salmon and Turkey were very good. The chicken tenders were excellent. The desserts were impressive. The drinks were yummy but expensive. I got a blood orange margarita and it was very yummy. There is no Mickey Mouse among the characters that perform here. The kids had a great time and loved seeing all the characters. But our 4 year old was asking repeatedly about Mickey when it was time to leave. For $1300 you'd think they could have a Mickey Mouse there. This place is a great way to have a nice birthday party for your kids and family without you exerting much effort, but instead you will exert a lot of your money lol. You can probably provide a better experience at an event you throw yourself, for the same cost but that would be a lot of work. So I guess it's about if you are budgeting money or time.
The check in staff and wait staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The food is really bad and we only saw 3 characters. We used to go years ago and there were alot of characters. The amount of money they charge they could do better especially with the food.
We booked this reservation without doing a whole lot of research but I was excited for the character dining aspect. For dinner it is $75 per adult and $35 per child over 3. It is an extensive buffet with a great kids selection of foods and a higher end section for the adults. My husband and I tried a little bit of everything and found the food to although LOOK delicious, tasted completely bland and lack-luster. I will say our servers were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable, and my kids loved seeing Chip and dale and Pluto, but I could not justify the amount of $$$ I spent on the meal itself. 4 adults and 1 child ran us an easy $450. That’s just ridiculous.
Our reservation was for 12:50, the waitress comes by at 1:10 and informs me they are closing in 10 minutes and hands off the check. Not all the characters had came by so when I asked to at least have Minnie come by the waitress said to me you should be lucky goofy is even walking around right now. I then watch her walk over to two different managers and her point at me. The food was as unflavored and unseasoned as it could get. The characters were nice. My kid had a good time but we were 100% ripped off during this experience and rushed out the door. Parents save your money. The waitress swung by once during this whole experience and that was when she wanted to inform me they were closing. Mediocre at best
We traveled from Arizona to celebrate our youngest daughter’s 7th birthday, and while the food was enjoyable and our waiter provided excellent service, we were very disappointed with the overall experience. We spent just over an hour at the restaurant and were seated in a corner that appeared to be largely overlooked by the characters. Throughout the entire dining experience, only two characters stopped to greet our daughter. Additionally, when the staff came to sing “Happy Birthday,” no characters were present. Given that we paid over $550 specifically for a character dining experience, this was extremely disappointing. Our daughter became bored and visibly sad as she watched characters repeatedly pass our table to visit other areas of the restaurant. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a special birthday celebration turned into a very costly meal without the character interaction we expected.
Waiter did not ask for magic key pass to apply discount at the end of dinner. While it may be the guests’ responsibility to show the magic key pass for the discount, it seems dishonest for the waiters not to ask and keep money from people who forget to ask for the discount. Disney already makes so much money from the high prices of tickets and merchandise, they should automatically apply any discounts that we have as magic key holders. So beware, show your magic key to your waiter before you forget during the excitement of seeing the Disney characters.
Had a very disappointing experience yesterday at goofys kitchen. I come here often and normally have no issues I was about ready to pay and was waiting for the waitress to come around so I can ask for the bill when my child had to use the restroom so we get up and go to the restroom. While I’m in the restroom I get a call from goofys kitchen saying that I left without paying and I explained that I was in the restroom when we go back to our table which we were still planning on taking our drinks to go the table is completely cleaned and ready for the next party. Very disappointing to make assumptions as they did yesterday.
We were so disappointed by experience at Goofy’s Kitchen. We had made a reservation online for 10 (the max number you can do), then we called them and said we would have one more totally 11. When we arrived they didn’t have a spot for our extra person and made us wait 30 minutes for a table. Kids were so hungry and starting to act up. Once we were seated we were surprised it was a buffet, that hadn’t been made clear on the website. The food was alright, nothing great. There was a plethora of dessert options for breakfast which made it challenging for my children to choose healthy options so we can have a good day. The whole point of doing breakfast here was the characters. They only had the few nobody cares about (Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale) and then Mickey and Minnie, but they were so rushed I didn’t feel like we got the character experience we were hoping for. It was a quick picture and move on, no chatting or fun little play. We were really hoping for more characters too, as was advertised. Then the bill came and it was $30 more a plate than what was quoted online when we made the reservation. It was well above what we planned. Overall the whole thing was disappointing. We will not do it again, nor will we recommend it to anybody. I wouldn’t have even paid the original prices if we had known. Not worth it even by half.
Food was okay but not worth the $180 I paid. Server brought our drinks, finally by the time we finished our first serving. We saw Chip and Dale and Chip and Dale and Chip and Dale. Not much variety in food 10/10 would not recommend. McDonald's would have been better
You are paying for the experience with the characters. It is an extremely overpriced children's buffet- chicken, fries, desserts, etc. Two adults and two children (one which they charged as an adult because of their age requirements, the other being a toddler and eating a few finger foods) with an included gratuity was $440! We arrived before our 4pm reservation, checked in with the app, then had to wait. Once we were notified they were ready, we had to wait in a long line at the desk only to be sat again until called in a different line. The picture with Goofy was rushed and wasn't even a good photo. Plan to not be seated on time even with a reservation. We have visited Goofy's every time we come to Disney but it's hard to justify eating here anymore verses better quality restaurants in the park and surrounding area and visiting the characters in Toon Town instead. Be aware- Goofy's does not have all the characters. You are visited by Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Minnie. The characters are fun to watch with guests and are friendly/entertaining.
I live in NJ and have been a Disney fan for 40 years, 95% experience in the Walt Disney World (WDW). Yes, WDW and Disneyland are two distinct business units in Disney Co. and although many things are the same you can see distinct differences between the two in some places. Goofy's Kitchen is a nice dining place with characters entertaining and greeting throughout the meal. Who wouldn't like a character meal!! But be very careful about parking if your main interest is having a fun meal and stroll around the Downtown Disney area. Goofy's is located in Disneyland Hotel and officially not "in" Downtown Disney perimeter. So don't think you can park at Simba parking lot and get a heavily discounted parking. Yes, if one eat at any sit down restaurant at "Downtown Disney" proper (within the perimeter), one can get parking ticket validated and get 5 hours of free parking, a $50+ value with tax. But since Goofy's is not within the Downtown perimeter you can have this perk. We went to Goofy's yesterday. Our complication was the validating machine was down and the restaurant staff told us just show the receipt to the parking lot exit attendant. The attendant faithfully did her job not giving us any break. Something I have not experienced at WDW. I don't know if I should praise her loyalty to the job or complain she's not customer oriented. I don't quite blame the attendant 100%. After all, she's probably just following her training. I think the system is the problem. In my reservation to Goofy's it had a link to a long web page about parking which is more general in nature and not specifically for Goofy's. I just spent half an hour going through all available Disney website information to understand the patrons should park at the Disneyland Hotel self-parking lot in order to have a 3-hour free parking with parking ticket validated at the restaurant. And that parking lot only. No other lots would give you a break even if you just had 12 people and spent $1000 at the restaurant. OK. Here's my complaint to Disneyland. Why couldn't you make all this clear and simple to people want to have a nice dining experience at Goofy's kitchen? A couple of lines on the reservation confirmation would do the trick. And also why does it really matter that much which Disney owned parking lot I parked to get the parking discount. All revenues get to be reported in one Company performance review, isn't it? Since I'm in the mood I might as well throw in another not related complaint, or is it really not related? Why does Disneyland cancelling the bus service (from 4/1/2026) between the Toy Story parking lot and the entrance of the parks without a substitute service. It's about a mile walk. Do you really think all senior people are that fit??
Don’t waste your money. Way too expensive for a very disappointing experience. The check-in staff was rude. Our group wasn’t seated until 20 minutes after our reservation and then we were told they couldn’t actually seat a group our size (11) despite having already checked and confirming our party size. The dining experience was rushed and chaotic. Asking for anything seemed like an inconvenience to the wait staff. Completely the opposite of what you would expect from a Disney experience. There were far fewer characters than we were expecting. Food was mediocre, which was fine. We were not anticipating fine dining. We were there to celebrate my son’s birthday, and the whole thing was just very disappointing for both him and us.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always left with wonderful memories — great food, fun buffet options, and magical character interactions. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was a stark and painful exception. After being seated, for 40 minutes we watched characters make their rounds to every table in the restaurant — except ours. Our 7-year-old son sat there the entire meal watching other kids light up with joy while he was left out. He cried. It was genuinely heartbreaking to witness. When we raised the concern, our server referenced a 90-minute experience window. The manager repeated the same talking point without any empathy, acknowledgment, or resolution. No one seemed to notice or care that a child was visibly upset. This was our first visit that didn’t feel like Disney. The magic of this place has always been its inclusivity — making every single guest feel seen and special. That did not happen for our family this time. A more attentive and compassionate response from the team, especially when a young child is involved, would have gone a long way. We hope management takes this feedback seriously so other families don’t have the same experience.
