Mi Casa Mexicana is praised for its delicious, authentic Mexican food with a Californian twist and generous portions. The carne asada and carnitas tacos are highly recommended. Some customers have reported potential language barrier issues with staff.
Tip: The carne asada plate and carnitas tacos are highly recommended. Be aware that parking can be limited due to shared parking with other establishments.

(Wed 12/24/25) The food was delicious! I have never seen shrimp rancheros before so that's what I ordered. It was amazing! The beers were a little pricey. I don't know if that's California pricing but $6 for a 12oz bottle of beer is a little much for me. Lol. The women's restroom didn't have any paper, when I went to look for someone to let them know, I couldn't find anyone.
Amazing spot! Kinda tucked away, not overly "noticeable" but let me tell you, so glad I found it! The staff were so kind, sweet and helpful - The food was NEXT LEVEL AWESOME & AUTHENTIC, and was just a wonderful experience all around. 10/10 would recommend trying it if you are in the area.
Good stop not too far from the Disney Resort bubble to escape and get some authentic Mexican food that is actually affordable!
Stayed in Anaheim and found this little gem on Orangewood Drive. It's amazing food kept us wanting more! The large lime margaritas 🍹 were excellent! And the service was wonderful.
This is by far the best Mexican food we've ever had! I'm literally writing this while still here because I couldn't wait lol! The service is phenomenal, clean, prices great, food is SO good, and servings are VERY generous! I would 1000% recommend this to anyone visiting! Conveniently located, just a short walk from our resort too!
Food is really good, I ordered thru DoorDash so if you buy an order of 3 tacos you get another order free!! Cant beat that deal. Tacos rice and beans are so good and not to mention the 3 leches cake 🍰 really recommend.
Authentic and good! Near Disneyland, about 10 or 15 minutes. This is not El Torrito or Chipotle. No complaints. Ask if the food is spicy. Red Chile sauce was good. Burritos can be shared. Excellent beans, reminds me of my Nana's. Bad reviews for weak reasons brought this establishment down. Will go back!
MI CASA SU CASA is how I felt when I ate here the staff made this humble restaurant seem like your own house! I got the carnitas quesadilla which was $13 which for its size was an amazing deal. The ambiance was also quite nice with a decent vibe. The staff were also kind. The carnitas quesadilla was really good. The meat was incredibly tasty and tender and paired with the sour cream and guacamole it was amazing as the fattiness was cut through. That was the one flaw within the dish it was quite greasy which I did not like. The food came out quite quick however which was perfect. Overall it was an alright meal but I would say definitely recommend for its price and location where it was close to downtown Disney and all the big hotels and convention centers.
Love this spot! Great comfort food and friendly staff
Food was excellent, food came out fast & correctly! The staff was outstanding and very friendly even when I made a mistake. Food was super delicious also so much parking. If you want a quick easy meal this is the place, take out was super quick!
Great staff, great food, quick service, will come here again my next visit.
Hardly anyone here. Quiet and the food was delicious! We will be back.
The server was very good and friendly! He was the only server for the busy restaurant, but that didn't stop him from running around handling business! Highly recommend!
We were looking for authentic mexican food close to Disneyland. It’s a few miles away. It’s in a small shopping center so it’s kinda easy to pass it like we did at first. The service was good, staff is very friendly. The chips and salsa were tasty. They have lots of beer options. We ordered Chicken street taco plate and Chicken Flautas plate, both very tasty. Flautas here are definitely on my list of one of the best tasting ones I’ve had! You can tell by the crowd it’s a popular place. We didn’t wait long at all to be seated. We will definitely be back again.
We are visiting from out of state and this was our first time to order here. The food was excellent including the rice and beans. Complimentary chips and salsa were amazing too. My family loved their food. Thank you!
Our experience with Mi Casa was short, but so good! The cashier/front man was kind and quick with communication and fulfilling our orders. I wish I got his name! We both got burritos, chicken and carne asada. The flavors were wonderful! Nice and spicy so beware if you cant handle spice. We also got their Horchata and Mango lemonade which were oh so refreshing. The burrito was just short of a foot long and very filling. We would 100% come back to the restaurant.
Great food portions! Would definitely eat here again if I lived at all close to anahiem.
Great dinner after a long day in the parks. The gentlemen serving were attentive and immediately returned with any requests. All 3 dishes were excellent tasting. Fair prices at $13 and $18 for the adult meals we had, each with protein. I would eat here again and absolutely recommend for a meal to enjoy.
Hole in the wall with the most delicious food at reasonable prices. Free chips and salsa included.
Ordered catering. Was ready in time and amazing food. Recommend.
I was in Anaheim for the weekend and looking for a place to eat. I’ve tried many Mexican restaurants, and by far this place exceeded my expectations. Tastes like true authentic Mexican food. So delicious that I ate here twice.
Food was great, and well priced. Staff was friendly and attentive but not overly attentive. Would recommend.
Ok so we were there in Anaheim only for a couple of days for a concert at the Honda Center. I really wanted some Mexican food. Mi Casa Mexicana was the closest to our hotel. That was just an easy excuse. I am so glad we decided to give it a try. This was one of the best and most flavorful Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at. We live in the southwest and eat a lot of Mexican food. If you really want a good Mexican meal while in the Anaheim area this place is IT! We were greeted and seated immediately. Mind you it is a small location but the food and service made you feel like you were in a very large restaurant. People were coming and going the entire time we were there. A good sign of regular loyal customers. The waiter brought us chips and salsa and our drinks immediately. My wife ordered the small street tacos combo that included 3 tacos and bean and rice. She loved it. She said the food was so fresh and the Pico de Gallo was delicious. I ordered the COMBO 4 (MI CASA COMBO) 3 hard tacos and three taquitos stuffed with meat beef or chicken, steak charbroiles fajitas, pico de Gallo, sour cream, lettuce and guacamole. Served with rice and beans. A LOT OF FOOD!!!!!!!!! Let me just say the flavor was to die for. Everything on the plate was delicious. I had the beef in everything. It was perfectly cooked and hot at the table. We left with a box of leftovers that made a second meal for both of us later. If I were to recommend any Mexican restaurant in Anaheim this would be it. Thank you Mi Casa Mexicana. I now have to start a search for a comparible restaurant in the Phoenix area:-)
Was staying in Marriott Courtyard for a conference and this was around a 5ish minute walk and my partner and I went every day. Amazing prices for very filling portions and the food quality was amazing. Tacos were superb. Would highly recommend this for anyone staying in the Anaheim area either for a conference or for Disneyland and a very affordable spot to go with a family.
Took the family here for lunch after being at Disney. Being from New Mexico I was nervous trying Mexican food here in Cali for the first time and I’ve got to say this place did not disappoint. Carnitas were AMAZING! Got the family bundle #4 and would highly recommend this as y’all’s lunch destination
Delicious food and friendly service! I recommend grabbing some lunch and an agua fresca while doing laundry next door. Everything on the menu is good and the booths are clean and comfortable. The takeout containers are good quality too for an easy midnight snack afterwards.
On my first visit to the area, I discovered Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant, conveniently located just around the corner from my hotel. The timing couldn’t have been better, as I arrived just before the lunch rush. The highlight of my meal was the ceviche, a true bargain bursting with fresh, zesty flavors. The taco plate followed, featuring an array of perfectly seasoned meats - tender carne asada, flavorful el pastor, and succulent pollo. For anyone looking for a taste of Mexico with a side of local charm, Mi Casa is a must-visit.
Great tasting food. Came to disneyland for the weekend. We ordered food twice from here. Ceviche de camarón is spot on. Tortas de asada is so good. My kids loved the chicken flautas.
After a long Disney day, I really wanted some Mexican food. This place hit the spot. The salsa is amazing. The BBQ chicken salad was good. Chicken flautas were lovely. Nachos were amazing. I know a lot of west coast places don't do cheese. So thank you! (This Georgia boy still wanted cheese dip though! 😁 )
Christmas Eve since we are from Texas I ordered combo 2 chicken tamales and two flautas with rice and beans it was delicious . Highly recommend.
Went as a group. Seemed to be slightly understaffed but we were still well attended. Everyone liked their meal. I had Nachos with carne asada and thought it was very good. Would return.
It's a quaint little place in a strip mall. The food was good. The chicken fajitas, carne asada tacos, and carne asada plate were excellent. The Chile rejano was below average. The chips and salsa and the guacamole were average as well.
Good Mexican Food - portions are HUGE - come hungry!!!
Offering reasonably priced Mexican foods. Food serving time is very quick. Recommended for family or friends gathering.
Parking: They’re located in a small plaza, but parking is easy to find. Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: Walking in, you can either place an order to-go at the register or let the worker know you’d rather dine. My partner and I decided to dine in tonight. The worker gave us menus and told us we can choose any table. It’s a medium sized restaurant. Good for big groups. Service: Our first server did not understand English when we asked him a couple questions about the menu, so he grabbed another server to assist us. The second server was able to answer our questions and gave us a couple recommendations. After ordering, we waited approximately 15 min for our orders. Food: 1) Chicken Flautas - I ordered this. It was served with beans, rice, sour cream, and guacamole. The chicken flautas were big! The chicken was cooked well, and outer layer was crunchy. I really enjoyed this dish. 2) Carne Asada - My partner ordered this. It was also served with beans, rice, and sour cream; no guacamole but it came with 3 tortillas. The carne asada was flavorful and cooked well. My partner had fun making his own tacos. 3) Chips & salsa - Complimentary appetizer. The salsa was spicy, but a bit salty. Pricing: Prices were $$$. Can’t blame them, especially in this inflation. We loved our dishes and left our bellies more than fulfilled. We’ll be back for more!
They have super yummy Mexican food! Fresh chips and salsa. My shrimp quesadilla with jalapenos tasted amazing. Add their delicious green sauce for a flavor explosion in your mouth. The Red sauce has more heat. I mixed them. Winning! Burrito OMG yes. Their service is good. Sit down and have your order taken or order at the counter. The restroom was clean as well as the restaurant. Wished the TV was on for some ambiance.
The food is great Service is prompt and friendly I was expecting my traditional Mexican sweet tea, just got disappointed because it's not
This is just the perfect example of how good Mexican food can be in California. The food was really good nothing fancy, just exactly what you want when you go for Mexican, and nice big portions. I got the taco plate and a horchata, it was the best horchata I have ever had. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. the decor was just the basic, but nothing wrong with it. Great little gem near Disneyland
Love the new remodel ! Server got my order wrong. Salsa is runny and not that great. Chili relleno was covered with so much cheese I couldn’t see the chili. These are picky things but just not as good as it once was.
I was in town for a conference and heard about this place and figured I would give it a try. The service was fine and I liked the salsa. My food was good and authentic to taste. I probably won't be back, but that is only because I don't live here. If your in town and just want some simple Mexican food, you won't be disappointed
Sabor bueno, atención rápida, precios adecuados, quede satisfecho con un solo platillo,me pidieron atender en idioma español, lo único que hay que esperar un poco es el lugar de estacionamiento para el automóvil ya que lo comparten con otros establecimientos.
- Food was actually very good - Chicken was tender and very flavorful - Coke was a little more foamy on top than we thought should be; maybe a soapy cup?? - Waiter came, took order, brought drinks, brought food and that was about it; we had to go up to get a to-go container Chicken salad Three chicken taco dinner Two Cokes Approx: $35 All in all, very good for a small “hole in the wall.”
Came here 2 Saturdays ago with some friends during a conference to eat. The food was excellent and the prices were great. There must of been short staff that day because there was only 1 waiter and it took about 30 minutes to get food.
3.5 stars. It’s a bit over priced since it’s average. We found this place while searching for dinner places. It’s located in a plaza, next to a bar with pool tables. The plaza offers free parking. 5 stars for the employee who was patient and attentive. He answered our questions and when he didn’t have the answers, he went to ask the cook and accommodated us. The enchiladas were average. I ordered green and they weren’t spicy which I loved. My partner ordered the enchiladas with shredded beef and red sauce. They had more spice than mine but still great for those who like red salsa. My sister ordered the Flautas. She said they were decent. The platter itself looked appetizing. Overall, it’s a great place if you are staying nearby and want Mexican food. Is it authentic? That’s for you to try and decide since we all have different tastes. My sister who cooks Mexican food said it’s decent Mexican food. I don’t cook, so I enjoyed it. LOL Also, they have a bathroom, one stall. They have high chairs for kids and a kids menu. Our baby didn’t like her taco and preferred the Flautas. The taco is basic.
I read the reviews before bringing my family here. It seemed more positive then negative and said authentic Mexican. First impression was the off putting smell when we entered. Tables were clean. The salsa was really watery. Kids felt their food was to spicy, mine wasn’t. We ate our food, so it wasn’t all that bad.
They didn’t have some desserts and then I ordered a fish soup but the chef read it wrong and they had caldo de res. The waiter said he would give me half off. When we went to pay the cashier said the waiter was new. Asked if I ate the soup. I said if I need to leave the rest in can. He ended up being the manager and he said it’s not about the money and only gave $5 off.
Kind of dingy looking but based on the reviews I figured it might be ok. It was also across the street from our hotel so the convenience was a big reason we went. I know there are other good tacos around here but didn’t feel like driving after a long day in Disneyland. The chips were pretty good, seemed freshly cooked so I was hoping for the food to be the same. The salsa was very basic, maybe from a can. My Mexican wife was with me and we ordered enchiladas. First few bites were ok but the more we ate the more it went downhill. She said for sure the sauce was from a can and likely the beans too, nothing tasted very fresh. The cheese enchilada was not melted in the middle. Chicken was ok, beef was meh. I would not return. When the owner is not Mexican it’s a clear red flag that I wish I had noticed before ordering. You can’t just hire a few Mexican cooks and hope to pull it off without a caring and authentic Mexican owner. Sorry it’s true.
The food was good. The beans could be more flavorful. Their salsa ws good. The service could be better. They didn't really check in us so we had to flag down the employee. I heard their melon agua fresca ws good but they were out. So we tried the Jamaica and horchata. It was good. Wet carnitas burrito was good. My sister had the ceviche tostada and that was really good. I'd probably go back again just in case it was just an off day for them.
Food tasted fine. Didn't get sick, so that was pleasant. Could use a few days of being closed to focus on cleaning...noticed the filth on payment device as employee went to the kitchen to grab my online order (ready when I arrived). Not good...glad I paid online. Not likely to return.
Was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and this came up with the most reviews through Google. Decided to give it a try. Ordered the mojarra (fried fish) it was surprisingly not bad and pretty tasty. Nice size fish for under $20 and it came with a small side of rice, beans and a salad. Can't believe the beans were the star of the whole dish lol The aguas Frescas are not real aguas Frescas but some sort of bottled juice or powder mix drinks. Skip it all together and get the jarrito instead. They do serve beer, all glass bottles, most are the same price. Service was mediocre. They did their job as to take our order and bring us our food. No follow up to check if everything came out alright and didn't return once after dropping our plates. We waited a few minutes after finishing our meal, then went up to the counter to pay. If you're staying near by, highly suggest you order out or for delivery. Restaurant had a very strange smell to it, like an old Indian hotel that never had their HVAC system fixed. If we had other near by sit-down places opened later than 830 on a Sunday, we would have definitely left. The bathrooms had a foul odor, you could smell it from your seat every time someone opened it. It was like dank sewer. Atmosphere is pretty dead, no real Atmosphere if thats what youre going for. No TVs, no music, just the conversation of others.
Food was just Meh. Beef Taquitos has nice flavor but were soggy underneath- just the ends were crispy- rice had good flavor but beans tasted like they were from a can. Carne Asada burrito was flavorless/dry and the meat was very gristly - had to ask for some green salsa on the side and that tasted very sour and was oily. Meh.
We ate here with a group. We ordered menudo, and a plate of rolled tacos and chile rellenos. Not good at all. The rolled tacos were burnt, the rice and beans tasted like were from cans. The menudo was also not good. We did not finish the food. The service was friendly and attentive.
I wanted to like it but it just didn’t live up to your basic Southern California Mexican. It was okay but if there something else near buy that might be better maybe that would be a better option. Wasn’t horrible. Just wasn’t great. Less than okay.
Stopped in for dinner. The place was empty but the service was really slow and our orders were messed up twice. Sadly the Food was not to bad however the sauses came straight from the can and were not even warm. It's a place I would pass on
Great food, great selection, really love the infused waters (Aqua Fresca) selections... took a star off because the receipt is itemized strangely. I had done the math on our meal before the receipt came, and the receipt was impossible for me to discern what receipt items belonged with what menu items. None of the charges aligned with what was on the menu, but also the charge titles did not align with menu titles since every charge was named the same generic “Menu Item” or whatever. I think I was overcharged but have no way of knowing. We’re here for two weeks and I would have come back, but I’ll just be going down the road to Casa Garcia’s where quality and taste is the same but I know what I’m paying for.
Not great Mexican food. I feel like it doesn’t take much and in Anaheim around Disney, I’m pretty forgiving, but this really wasn’t good. Ordered an Al pastor burrito but it was indistinguishable from any other kind of burrito. The guac was gross and the salsa was off. Mexican is my favorite food but I’d never go back here again.
The place was super loud, the California burrito I ordered was mainly rice and old french fries. I assume most of the filling was old as the burrito came out in about 2 mins flat. The waiter was not very friendly but quick and didn't offer any chips and salsa like he did for others. I wished I had my one meal today somewhere else.
The service was blah, just careless. The guy taking our order, never looked at us in the face. He was just looking down at his machine where he was placing the order. Never once came back to ask us how we were doing and if we needed anything else. Our food took forever to come out. We ordered a dry Carne Asada burrito, milanesa torta and mojarra frita. Out of the three meals, the torta was the decent meal. When I first grabbed the burrito it fell apart. I've never had Carne Asada that is liquidity. It did not taste like carne asada and it was super, super salty. The milanesa was dry and hard, but it had a decent taste. The mojarra tasted like dirt and it was super dry. I think the only good food there was the chips that they serve when you first arrive. Also overly priced and I think it's because it's close to Disneyland, but still overly priced. I do not recommend this place, unless you absolutely don't have nowhere else to go, but I'd rather go to the Carl's Jr. that's down the street. The photos I posted look decent, but once I was done with the burrito, it was a total mess.
I went there during my trip at Disneyland and when we got there it was so lonely there was only a couple eating and that is when I knew it was a bad choice. We went inside and sat down at a table, we waited about 10 minutes just to get our drinks. When we ordered I got the carne asada fries, definitely not a good choice although the prices may be low so is the quality of the food. After eating the food we left to our hotel and rested, during that time I felt fine but a about an hour after I started feeling really sick (mind you I had not eaten anything after that) I felt sick for about 20 minutes before I threw up all the food not to mention there was a hair in my moms food which also caused her to be sick, overall I would not recommend coming here.
I ordered to go. The enchiladas was cooked in the microwave and hard when I tried to cut into it. The sauce on top was cold. I came before the scheduled time to arrive and my food was already packed up. Not to mention, when I called to place the order the female who answered was rude AF and kept me on hold for no reason. I was watching her place me on hold and do absolutely nothing. Do not waste your money here. There are way more authentic Mexican food spots in this area that will totally appreciate your business. This food is like Chef Boyardee to Italian food. Try Casa Garcia or even Del Taco. That will be money well spent. BTW I am a local business owner. This is not a rant. I feel the public should be aware of where they should spend their hard earned money and feel totally ripped off.
This afternoon, I went to Mi Casa Mexicana for lunch. The front person was happy to see a new customer at about 03:15 PM. I ordered a chicken burrito, not spicy with water. I asked twice about it being not spicy. When the check was presented to me, it was higher than the amount I was quoted. It was 4.00% higher. The woman explained, "The credit card company charges that 4.00%, not us." "Why didn't you tell me that I could use cash and avoid the fee?" There was no response. She pointed to the bottled water and said, "You can just take that water." I thanked her, took two bottles, and brought them to the back table. When the woman saw the two plastic bottles of water, she had a fit. "One bottle, not two." She walked to my table and grabbed the second bottle. I tasted the burrito, and it was like warm. I asked it to be reheated. The burrito was placed right into the microwave. I had the next few bites, and saw that the chicken was day-old, all dark meat, skimpy, with 90% rice and spices. I asked for not spicy hot and I got spicy hot. This is a restaurant I would not go to again. Don't even bother going once. Nothing but a huge disappointment.
Pulled up out here visiting for the holidays with my wife and kids walked in kinda wasnt sure it was empty but then understood why after being left there for 15 min with no customers and no service why have a restaurant and not take our order? Made no sense ut understand why its empty
We came in excited to try them their was a bug I’m pretty in my drink, my meat in my burrito was all fat. I also asked for sour cream and it didn’t come with sour cream. There was also something in my burrito not sure what it was. I had also got a quesadilla and asked for no guacamole or sour cream and they put it. I still paided for everything. My other sprite also tasted so bad. I understand they get busy and tired but still really upsetting.
I didnt get to try the food but the people sitting there were complaining how it was gross and we walked in was told to seat ourselves and wasnt attended to so after 15 minutes of hearing others complain and not being attended to we walked out. The people stared at us as leaving didn't say sorry or nothing just stated at me and my family of 6 walking out.
