Open late great place to relax. Love doing my work there and can play music of my liking. Food is great too

Atmosphere was amazing. Employees were welcoming like family. I've never felt so comfortable in a place before the way I did here immediately.

I love the environment and atmosphere of the place, the people are super kind and friendly. I haven't tried the food yet but, I recommend this place to anybody.

Incredible place good prices not a overwhelming crowd very exclusive menu great customer service the falafel sandwich is questionable my palestinian wife but fantastic I got the beef plate perfect in all ways this in one of my favorite middle eastern spots from this point on I can't think of a match maybe open sesame!!!! This place was lonely the past two times I visited but the food was amazing! I had a chicken and beef shawarma with hummus. The shawarma and hummus were on point! If you're ever craving a shawarma I highly recommend this place to get your fix.

Best hookah and cafe. The owner is wonderful and he cooks the food along with the employees. It's always so incredibly tasty! Most personal buisness I've seen in Long Beach.

Parking is available and free. If you're with a friend or two and looking for a calm place to drink some "tea-milk" and play dominoes/card games or just sit and chill this is the place. I did not try the food there but it doesn't seem as a restaurant place and that's why I wouldn't recommend this place for a meal. If you found my review a bit useful please "like" it. Thank you

No customers besides what seems to be family besties. A man laying down outside hitting the hookah jumps up and asks if we are here for hookah or food. Ordered chicken kabob. Rice was a little dry and bland, hummus was saved by he paprika and the salad had one (1) tomato but it was good. Chicken was actually well cooked and juicy really good. The pita was lukewarm at best. Really doesn’t take much to warm it up not asking for a stone oven at least toss it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Overall it was just ok but I ate it all bc it’s 1am n I’m hungry. Forgot to take pic prior so y’all getting the after. Would I come here again? Depends what time. Is it first choice? No, but it’s a humble fourth. Overall a v well deserved 3 stars bc of their hours.

First and last time trying this place. The lentil soup was nasty, to out it mildly. The smell and the taste was just gross. I have had lentil soup before and it tasted nothing like it. The chicken was a little bland with no seasoning or spices. The rice was also dry. The hummus and pita was the only thing enjoyable in the entire meal. This was a waste of $25 dollars. In order to salvage some of the meal I will season the chickens rice and save it for lunch tomorrow. The lentil soup there is no saving or doctoring that up

This place is always dirty, tables dusty, chairs old and broken, the Egyptian guy's attitude stinks, seating out side in the pavement which is illegal. Horrible horrible experience!! Somebody needs to report this messy place to the city to be fixed or close down.

DO NOT GO THERE!!! NOT FOR THE FOOD, NOR THE HOOKA. You can go one or two miles and be closer to the beach, be at a better hookah bar/Mediterranean restraurant and pay LESS!!! I placed an order over the phone, I went to pick it up and was greeted in a very weird way like "why are you here, can i help you?" Then I asked to add a dessert and an appetizer, they didnt have either. Really??? I ORDERED ONE THING AND GOT THE WRONG ORDER. ONE BLOODY ITEM AND THEY MESSED IT UP! Oh, I also made the mistake of ordering a drink. They split it in two tiny coffee cups. WTF??????? I called to complain and TO EXPRESS MY SHOCK MORE THAN ANHYTHING but noooooooooooooooooooooooooo they couldnt care less! Nile Cafe SUCKS!!! ITS THE WORST!!!!!

i was going to play here, but had to cancel 2 weeks in advance. when i respectfully let the promoter JULIA ANASTA know, she went on to threaten me and my family and carry on about how she paid $150 for flyers with my name on them (obviously made on the Paint program and i could barely be seen behind the 12 other artists) and that if she didnt get her money back she was going to get it herself. This was appauling. What kind of business is this??

Only positive thing is that they're open until 4 am but the food is so horrible that I will never order from here again. It was disgusting. They sent plain white rice and unpeeled onion. How lazy can people be that they can't even peel an onion. Even the hummus was disgusting!!!

That restaurant shouldn’t serve food as I ordered chicken kabob and was very bad with no salt at all. And the hummus was expired and with no salt. Also the price was expensive for this expired unhealthy food, the price on the menu was $11.99 for the chicken kabob plate and at checkout they told me the price for this plate $15 !!! Not a good place at all and they shouldn’t make food to serve at all. Worst experience ever.

service is below zero and the price too high 40 dollars for a hookah and one☕bad tea and we were sitting in a place outside and the owner he came and asked us to move somewhere else because he wants his friend to sit over there and of course i moved and after 5 minutes I asked how much 🤔 I paid the $40 and I'm gone and I never return again.

Honestly one of the worst hookah lounges I've been to. The food wasn't good the chicken Kabab wasn't fully cooked, the menu said it comes with a salad (turned out to be cut lettuce and bbqed tomato) the rise was plain with no flavor whatsoever. We got 2 hookahs one of which was a double apple. We complained about it twice, they kept saying there wasn't anything wrong with it. 1 star is too much for the over all experience.

THEY DO NOT FOLLOW SAFETY PROTOCOLS. I walked in to pick up an order and there are about 15 people with NO MASKS all just sitting there playing cards. I had to bump into 5 people just to get my food. So don't go here unless you want COVID and a bad experience.

The chicken shwarma was as a couple others have noted: dry and simply tastes *bad*. Most or all of the meal was inedible , and I mostly just ended up eating the plain bread that came on the side. Also ordered some "beef kebab's" but the food I got was appalling -- buyer beware.

The good reviews only mention taste, but MULTIPLE 1 star reviews mention unsanitary conditions, health code violations, and food poisoning. I worked a long day the day I ordered from Nile Cafe, I had no other food in me - after ordering and consuming part of Nile Cafe's chicken platter, I almost immediately had an onset of mild food poisoning symptoms. These symptoms persisted and eventually escalated to some of the worst food poisoning I've ever had - lasting FOUR DAYS and ruining my entire workweek and the weekend trip I had planned. I mean it - this was some BAD stuff. I'm on DAY SIX and I'm just now slowly able to add solid food back into my diet. I can tell you right now that I will not be eating chicken or Mediterranean food anytime soon because I am that physically repulsed by it now. I'd like to point out that this restaurant is WELL aware of their negative reviews and has been called out by customers for multiple concerns and health code violations and clearly seems to be hiding these complaints and disregarding them all together. DO NOT ORDER. TRUST ME.
