Senor Baja Anaheim Reviews
I’ve only had one thing here. And there’s a reason why I’ve only had one thing. I love it! I love the grilled fish taco. The crema that they put on it is so yummy, a bit spicy and possibly has adobo in it. The tortillas are fresh. The ladies who work here are always warm and friendly. Someday I’ll try something else, but I don’t get to come here that often so it’s straight to the fish taco I go!
I was going to give this place 4 points cause I rarely give a 5 from my first visit. But after eating there, I decided to hit the 5. Delicious tacos & great service. We ordered Baja shrimp tacos, spicy grilled shrimp tacos, chicken tacos & shrimp ceviche. Everything was so tasty & made fresh. The prices are very reasonable. The place is very clean & has a restroom. All in all, it was a great experience & I highly recommend this place
I've tried both locations, the norwalk and anaheim hills branch. The anaheim hills looks fancier and the norwalk one looks like a hole in the wall. Parking is easier in the anaheim hills location as well. Food is amazing! I only order the shrimp ceviche and fish tacos here and it has never disappointed me. Don't forget the lime and sauces when you get it as it puts the food over the top. Definitely my favorite place for fish tacos!
Awesome small little place to check out! We came on a Sunday around 1230 pm. It was like 17 of us, it was not the expected amount of people. It was originally 7 of us. Even though the place is small, our party was a big large, and the restaurant crew were not expecting us, the staff was still excellent. We put some tables together, we all got to order our food quickly and the food didn’t take really too long before they were calling our number. The food was really delicious, and tasted fresh. I had the ceviche with shrimp. It was really tasty and good. They make their own tostadas and their own nacho chips. I also tried the carne asada tacos that someone else had ordered and no complaints. Everything was on point, everyone was happy. Cool little place to eat! It’s worth checking out!
Not joking when I say this, possibly the greatest fried shrimp taco and horchata I’ve ever tasted. Genuinely confused how this place doesn’t have more reviews - its some of the best seasoned “fast food” i’ve ever gotten! I cannot sing the praises of this place enough!!! Eat here!!!
The fish tacos at Senor Bajas are superb! I've been getting my fish tacos from SB's for over 12 years now and they are by far the best in Orange County. They are battered and fried and the cream sauce on them is excellent. I usually order two and can make four tacos out of them because the serving of fish is a lot. All the food at SB's is excellent. Their rice and beans, the quesadillas and carne asada. By far though, the fish tacos are my personal favorite! Salud!
Hands down some of the best fish tacos in Orange County!! Staff is very polite. Tacos are reasonable price (5 tacos and a large agua de Jamaica = $21). Fresh fish.. aguas frescas are the only thing not authentic, but other than that definitely recommend! And they use yellow corn tortillas which are my favorite and not too many places use these so that’s a plus for me as well! Oh and the nachos are really good too! Just didn’t get a chance to take a picture before digging in.
super yummy tacos and ceviche! Very good costumer service. Neli was very attentive and helpful with our order. service was also very fast.

Love this place! The potatoes tacos are so good. Especially with the green salsa. 😋
First time in here! Pleasantly surprised with the quality / authenticity of the food. Definitely coming back!
Like this place better than casa rangel, love their Wednesday taco night, very smart, when you forget taco Tuesday you can go here, smart.
So tasty! Everything was delicious! Especially the shrimp. Too bad all their online links were broken!
Freaking love their tacquitos, will definitely drop by again when I travel to the US.
The fry batter here is amazing. Try the fish or shrimp tacos. You won't regret it.
Great place. Love the bean n cheese burrito and the spicy cream.
Amazing food and the staff are very friendly I love their fish tacos
Baja Shrimp tacos. You should order baja shrimp tacos with green salsa and pickled cucumbers.
The best fish tacos! Generous with the fish! Wednesdays 1/2 price!
Seriously this place is straight fire, they got the best beer battered fish tacos and they are massive so don't think you're going to get some tiny little taco it's worth every single penny in your pocket
Just a great little place for food, not a great selection, but what have they do very well.
Excellent authentic tacos in an area full of chain restaurants. This place does it right.
Food is always well made and prepared quick.
Good fish tacos and the great variety of condiments make it.
Enseñada style fish tacos are huge. Only $1.29 on Wednesday.
Been always a Mexican food lover and tortilla just offers something different , I like the ideas the food choices the quality . Lot of flavour you can mix in a bowl or a burrito ! But my fav is the tacos very tastes you can have different meats and do every one your own way ...there are lot of branches as well so it makes it easier to locate a close one to you
On Wednesday’s they have a deal on the Baja fish tacos which are excellent.
The best fish tacos in town! Hands down. Fresh crispy battered fish, chopped cabbage, pico and cream! Perfection every time. Tacos dorados de papa dang good too!
Fried fish tacos are spectacular. The hot sauce with cucumbers is delicious. The roasted yellow peppers are super hot, but the flavor is soo good.
Food was delicious. And, on a Sunday evening, they had BUMPING business!!! Plus, I forgot my purse, didn't come back for it for an hour, and it still had all my cash in it. We will be back once a week!
If you want authentic fantastic tacos, you go to Senor Baja in Anaheim Hills! Thier Carne Asada is amazing.
Small place but great food. Got the tacos and burrito. It was very tasty and I devoured it. Will definitely go back.
I absolutely love this hidden treasure! The food is absolutely amazing it’s simple but fresh and full of goodness. I don’t have any photos but take my word you won’t be disappointed!!
The have the best Shrimp tacos. The food is awesome..all the food are very good. You can eat in are do take out.
Not bad
Best fish tacos around I always think I can eat more than I actually can or maybe I just want to because they're awesome.
Food is fantastic. Fish tacos and shrimp tacos are so so good.
Best Baja fish tacos place outside of Baja Mexico. Their spicy cucumber is a must have.
Incredible food, great salsa, and the friendliest staff. I highly recommend the fish tacos.
Tacos and burritos from here are great options. Just would recommend beef or carnitas, instead of the chicken.
Great bean cheese burritos! My son loves going there, the staff is super friendly and kind.
Ordered a bunch of tacos for my family for takeout. All were very generously packed, filling, and tasty. I'm usually a green sauce guy but the red sauce here is so good. Very smoky and spicy. Will be coming back many times.
Hands down best tacos I’ve had! Nancy was so sweet and helpful. Nice environment, clean, and great customer service. This is definitely my new spot.
(UPDATE REVIEW) I've been coming here for more than (I think) 2 years and they are the most kind and friendly people you can imagine. I order one or two bean and cheese burritos along with some red hot sauce. One time I hadn't even finished ordering and they placed the burrito with said hot sauce with napkins in a bag next to the register. I'm a regular customer so they know my order by heart lol! I saw one time they were teaching a seemingly new employee how to work everything and as I walked in I heard them preparing her like, "oh! and that kid always orders a bean and cheese burrito with FOUR red hot sauces, he usually gets a Pepsi with NO ice" it was so nice and funny to see. The bathroom was refurbished and looks significantly better. This the magnum opus of all things holy.
Tacos are so good, I got the carne asada ones and they're absolutely so fresh! Best tacos I've ever had that topped every street taco truck and I will be coming back here so much because of how good their tacos are.
Life. Changing. I recommend this place to anyone, and please, don’t waste any time and order yourself the spicy grilled shrimp burrito. Me? I wasn’t a burrito guy, much less a SHRIMP burrito kinda guy. But I was recommended to try one from my brother in law who frequents this place, and yet again, he led me down the right path. The beans, the rice, the house special sauce, all of it combines in one juicy, yet cozy, shrimp burrito that you want to write your future grandkids and tell them about. What an experience.
We have enjoyed the food here on numerous occasions. My husband loves shrimp burrito, while i enjoy grilled fish tacos with spicy sauce. My daughter likes tacos as well as their bowls, and quesadillas. The spicy cucumber salsa is unique and delicious, although spiciness varies by week, depending on who prepared it. You can ask for the grilled yellow peppers, those are also very yummy, but can be spicy for some. The decor of the place is in line with a basic fast food, but the quality of food is far above it.
I love the fish tacos, better than any fish tacos I've ever had. The tortillas are soft and the breaded fish is not overcooked like some places. The sauce, and chopped tomato and onion are just right on the taco. These are even good cold. I'm addicted.
My son Charlie eats here all the time at work and raves about it. So he took me. Wow the tacos were the best. Service was wonderful. Loved it.
Excellent, authentic mexican food, moderately priced. The salsas are the best! Seating is standard, but adequate.
Delicious Food! Try the fish tacos they’re amazing! I also love their asada torta with an Horchata.
Best fish tacos ever. I am a big fan of Hole Mole in Tustin but moved away. I work by this place and was so happy to find food equally as good closer to work. This will be my weekly go to. Yumm they were quick, delicious, and I will be going back.
Great tacos!!! The grilled fish tacos are the best!!!! Love the chiles on the side- not spicy
This place is like Taqueria De Anda but with shrimp and fish. We tried the spice grilled fish burrito, the Baja fish burrito, Baja shrimp taco, Baja fish taco and the crispy potato taco. All of these choice were excellent. The Baja choices are deep fried with a wonderful white sauce. The spicy grilled is not spicy at all but does have a tangyness to it. The potato taco was our least favorite but still very good. Their hot sauces were also very good. The red sauce is very hot but has great flavor and the green is not hot but has very good flavor. They do have combos but we didn't try them this time. Thus is a great place to try if you're in the area.
Great food. Love the crispy potatoes tacos. You have to have these. Fresh ingredients. Staff is friendly. Love that red hot sauce you are provided with. We choose this place after we hike Weirr/
The service I received by the friendly employees are AMAZING. I selected the grilled shrimp tacos, for my first time at this restaurant. The tacos were amazing! I would definitely come back for more.
We were in the area to watch Aquaman at a nearby theater. It was a week after opening night, so we got there early to reserve our tickets. Boyfriend scoped out the area for lunch and brought us here because he read raving reviews about their quality of service and their famed fish tacos. He's all about good service, so he wanted to check it out. They greet you upon entrance with a "Hello, how are you?", which was quite refreshing. It made us feel welcomed as first time comers. We mentioned we have never been here and asked for recommendations. Luckily, the menu lists best sellers first, but she did call out the fish tacos and combo meals. Boyfriend chose the two taco combo with rice and beans, brother got four tacos (lengua, al pastor, fish and carne asada) and I picked up two tacos (battered fish & shrimp). Portions were incredibly generous with their fillings and all other condiments were self serviced (salsa, radish, jalapeños). Overall, meal was super solid and I would totally come back for their crispy fish and crispy shrimp tacos. I'm actually curious to try their tortas! It's been a super long time since I've had one haha, so I guess I'll save that for my next trip.
This place is just good and yummy. Is it great... no. But it's good. Small place in a strip mall right between a Taekwondo place and a bank. Small restaurant that only gets crowded at lunch. They have a variety of classic mexican food (Asada everything, Chicken everything) but I still think the good stuff is the seafood. It's not high quality... it's just yummy. Whether it's classic fish tacos (deep fried), or grilled... or shrimp tacos... it's all very good. Their salsa bar although small has these great pickled red onions and it's always fresh. Overall, I think everybody will find something they can eat here. The only downsides are that sometimes the fish is really oily (like their fryer does not have the right temperature) and sometimes they put too much cream sauce on the fish tacos (you can always ask for it not to be there). Small annoyances only... so... no big deal. So if you're in the mood for some mexican... go. It's much better than something you can get down the street.
Honestly their fish tacos are the best I've tried so far. Highly recommend you visit this place if you like fish and shrimp tacos Baja style.
This place is a little hidden gem,in Anaheim hills....the food is delicious and shrimp cocktail is always fresh.
The best fish tacos EVER. The food is always freshly made. They have really good guac and crunchy tacos too. Red and green salsa are equally good. And the ladies who work here are so nice . We stop by every time we come to Disneyland (:
My first time, I got 3 Taco combo (Fish, Shrimp, Asada) and the Pastor Burrito. Love the hospitality and the food! I will be back soon! Thank you Team!

Really great fish tacos, reminds me of street tacos in Baja. Try it, you'll like it!
Solid Mexican food. Their shrimp burrito is probably the best thing on the menu.
The best shrimp and fish tacos 👍👍 cashier needs to work on her customer service 👎
There is no Mexican music in the building. I wish they stayed open later til 10 for us late night diners! Enjoy the place!
I stopped by this place during lunch and was SO pleasantly surprised, Their fish tacos are the best I have ever had and I cannot wait to go back. WELL DONE !!
Best fish tacos around, only one person that's been consistent I love her she's the cook that prepares everything I just wish this place was clean I'm unsure how often they wash their hands all the above needs to be sanitized deodorized and put value and being the best into it because you guys have the best fish tacos I just wish everything wasn't so gross around it
Their spicy fish tacos were very good! A bit pricey without chips and salsa for the combo plate
The fish tacos were delicious, both fried and grilled. The down side is that the restaurants dining area is dirty.
Nice chunky fish tacos, great flavor
Señor Baja serves up delicious, authentic Mexican seafood dishes, particularly their signature fish tacos, in a casual and inviting setting.
Good quality food but the prices have steadily been increasing. It's now up to $3 a taco which isn't quite worth it but they're decent and it's close so I still come by from time to time. I've only had one bad experience here when I ordered tacos right after opening and the carne asada tasted like the cleaner they used on the grill. Every other time when I've ordered later in the day, it's been good.
So I was really surprised how the food tasted it was actually pretty good I got the fish tacos fried with beans and rice no complaints their the people were very busy they only had two people working in the kitchen so it was a bit long to get your order or help they need a third person especially around lunch time! The bathroom was pretty Gross it's something they need to keep up but I can tell because of the short staff they have no one to do that the place looks very blan the only good thing is the food keeps people coming back
Great deals for delicious, Baja style Mexican food. One of the better restaurants for quick and cheap Mexican food in the Anaheim Hills area. Fried and battered options can be a bit greasy. Grilled shrimp and potato tacos are my favorites. Tacos are served on corn tortillas. Good salsas and hot sauces at the bar. Also have grilled yellow chillies upon request. Horchata and Orange Bang are available. Restaurant atmosphere is clean, casual, and relaxed.
The closest to actual Ensenada fish tacos you'll get to, without having to go all the way to Baja! I just wish they had better corn tortillas! I wish they were more authentic Mexican tortillas, rather than just Ralph's tortillas! But other than that, awesome flavor's!
great food, but I called ahead for beans, rice, a taco, and taquitos... and waited a half hour when I got there. btw taquitos up $3 since last oct... on the fence. hope they do better...
Food is great and priced accordingly. Service is also friendly and prompt. It does get somewhat crowded at times as people from all back ground and ages seem to love their delicious, fresh fish tacos and food in general. My only complaint would be their small space and one restroom although always clean.

I'd stick with the shrimp and fish tacos. Carne asada and carnitas was very dry.
Price is decent. Food is good. Service is horrible. Every time I come they has a sign up looking to hire. Cashier barely spoke to me, maybe that's why they are replacing her. But you get what you pay for. One concern, I asked for a drink and they gave me a cup off of a stack they keep on the floor... a little concerning...
Great food , but kinda ridiculous that you buy 4 tacos for ~16$ and they don't give enough salsa, you have to pay for more.
Small Mexican chain restaurant located in a shopping plaza with Ralphs, off Weir Canyon Rd. Price, service, and food were okay but nothing special.
Small, clean spot in a strip mall, but don't bother. Simple menu, shrimp, fish, asada, carnitas tacos or burritos. I had asada burrito, not good at all; terrible, grizzled meat, tired beans and mushy rice. And what is the deal with dime bag of salsa.

Very grungy interior, threw up food following am. It tasted good when I ate it, hence 2 stars.
Bought 3 fish tacos (2 for me and one for someone else) and asked for 3 chilis. They said only one per order and wanted to charge me for the others so i asked i could do two separate orders then and get a chili per order since i was ordering for two people. Ridiculous that you have to do that just to get two chilis for 3 tacos.

First time buying to go, everything in it, it was good. Second time buying to go, no cheese on top of tacos, though I was charged $2/taco. Third time buying, told Camilla, there was no cheese on my previous to go order. So she said, there’s extra charge and she charged me again for $2/taco. Again! Third time still no cheese but got charged!!!! Beware!!!! Scammers!!!

I got food poisoning from this place. Overpriced, terrible quality. I got a steak burrito. Tasted horrible and it made me sick, throwing up and with diarrhea.
Haven't eaten there, but today when my wife went to make a deposit to the Wells Fargo ATM located on wall next to the restaurant she was panhandle by a guy sitting in one of their chairs outside. She didn't feel comfortable and left without making her deposit. After shopping in Ralphs she noticed he was still sitting there smoking a cigaratte.
I love Senor Baja but then after 15 years of fish tacos, horchata and Coca-cola products, they switch to Pepsi and remove the Horchata. Please switch back. Even some of the employees complain about the change. (one star for now but would have been five if they hadn't switched to Pepsi)
Just got home with my order, second time I have to throw away the rice, a mix of overcooked and uncooked rice. Terrible!
Great customer service. We ordered almost $100 in food. The lady that took our order in person was amazing. She reviewed each order and made sure to take special note of my daughter’s allergies and even asked staff to make sure. Get the food home and every order was wrong, including my daughters that had one of the allergens right on top. But they got one right. Good job! You got a good tip for lip service and for my daughter to eat Top Ramen. Is there a way to put negative stars???
You’re not paying for the size of the food, that’s for sure. What a joke. Could have gotten a footlong at sub for $14. But no. Two tiny tacos and side of beans it was. Never going back.
Once.again, called .get placed on hold without acknowledging me, then picks.up phone and hangs up on me because they are busy. I called back 20 times! Finally picks up and I asked why she hung up on me. She said I didn't respond..you know if this happened once maybe I would believe her but this is like the 50th time they have done this to me..their customer service is awful here!!! It's really really awful. And frustrating and not right. They really should teach their staff common decency, seriously. Your food shouldnt come with a side of stress and frustration every single time..ITS JUST NOT RIGHT.
The lady making the food was grabbing a bunch of change on the counter right before! She did not wash her hands or wear gloves! Just went straight to grabbing all the food items. This is a health hazard. Never going back.
Food quality has dipped so much, barely any meat and so salty :(
Stingy with salsa even when you spend more than $50. Very rude and condescending staff.
I’ve come here before and the fish tacos were pretty good. My last experience the fish tacos were horrible. It was all breading. I even cracked one in half and there was nothing inside of it except for a bunch of breading around the outside. Looks like I’ll be looking for a new place to get my fish tacos very disappointed
This place is run down. There is no longer a menu to see when you walk in until you get to the counter. The employees here are not friendly. Its really disturbing when you pay for something and when you don't get it they question your integrity on a missing food item. I pay extra for everything, and when I question there missing stuff they speak in spanish about it as if I dont understand. Not coming back here.
