Good selection of beers with over 20 on tap. Food was good too

Wagyu Philly Cheesesteak was a hit. Can't go wrong with the Tater Tots!

Had a shrimp poboy that was out of this world, and a couple really nice beers. My daughter came along on this one, we had a really nice time, staff is awesome.

Delicious food their waffles are so light and full of flavor, the fried chicken is so crunchy. There hamburgers are juicy and the tots and fries so yummy

Great overall experience. Gastro style pub with craft beverages and juicy burgers and sandwiches. Home grown Americana at its best.

Came for a late night beer and am really glad I did. I tried one of the more rare beers made locally. It was a little more alcoholic than most beers (aged in casks) but was as advertised. They promised hazelnut notes in my beer and they delivered. I am delighted to have had a beer here!!

This is a somewhat small location but it packs a lot of flavor. It's located in a shopping area with a decent amount of dining options. It has the feel of a craft beer joint but the food options really surprised me. I found myself talking about the "Hot Mother Clucker" sandwich for a few days after my visit. It was a spicy battered chicken sandwich with spicy slaw and waffles for the bun. Way fun.

The staff were super friendly and funny. The portion sizez were reasonable for their prize. The vibe is very welcoming with a bit of quirkiness to it. Overall I had a fun time.

Really like the food and craft beer selection. I got off the plane and immediately came here again and it does not disappoint.

The spicy fried chicken sammie was amazing, I ordered it very mild, so crispy and the chicken was so juicy delicious, the house slaw was on point👊🏽

I really enjoy the atmosphere at The Iron Press. The waffles are firm yet not over cooked. For the Turkey Society sandwich, they use a herb waffle which is complimented by the garlic aioli.

Fantastic place to grab some great craft beer. They almost always have some hard to find brews available including Russian River and alchemist. Food is very tasty and the service is friendly and quick.

You have to try the chicken waffle here! It's a must have with egg and even avocado. The beer selection is very local and varied; there approximately 12 to 15 Beers available. Dining experience is casual, Servers are friendly and helpful. Recommend

I make it a point to stop by the Iron Press whenever I’m in town. Fantastic rotating beer selection always has something new, the food absolutely slaps no matter what you’re hungry for, and the folks behind the bar are fantastic and helpful. Best place for a bite and a brew in the Anaheim Packing District.

Best place on earth. Iron Press is always coming up with new creations and I can honestly say my favorite place for trying different beers. The owner seriously puts some thought into his taps and gets a great rotation of lots of types of beer. Not just 30 different IPAS, or 30 different pale ales with a couple stouts. There is a kind of beer here for everyone, no matter what you like. Staff is super cool, I've been going here since they opened and when I'm near the Anaheim Packing District, I visit that location too. Cant say enough about how much I like this place!

Fabulous and friendly service! Down to earth staff. Delicious sandwich and great drinks! Turkey Bacon Avocado will not disappoint. Ciders and hard seltzer were great! Eddie and Kayla were fantastic servers.

Yes, this is a beer and waffle place. The food is surprisingly good--my spouse loves the waffles and I get the breakfast. Everyone we take there loves the dishes. Try the chicken pesto sandwich. We love Emily! She is the best! The other servers are pretty freakin' awesome too! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable about the beers and very conscious about your happiness as the customer.

J

First of all this is only about the beer! I ended up trying out this place because I need a place to sit during the lunch rush! The staff was quite friendly. To my surprise they actually had dark beers! Having moved down from Portland, Or. Beer Nirvana as we called it. I have found it difficult to find local pubs with a good Porter or Stout. To my surprise they had a couple of dark beers that were pretty good! I enjoyed a pint and the jovial atmosphere. They have a number of types of beer rotate through. Many people spoke of how they enjoyed the waffles as well. So if your in the packing house area of Anaheim, stop in and see if you'll be pleasntly surprised as was I.

West Coast Philly, Back Again Visiting family on our West Coast swing I took a chance on Iron Press. I was not disappointed and would recommend anyone that likes a good gastropub to partake. When walking up to the establishment you see the Americana setting and gorgeous beer taps in the center. Super cool and and friendly management, who were attentive as I was the first customer of the day. I got the Cheesesteak and waffles fries. A hearty portion of good steak and enough peppers and onions to make the meal filling. The cheese was quite tasty albeit a little skimpy in the portion which heled keep it from being a mess. The peppers were sweet and matched well with the cheese. Overall, I'd give the sandwich a 8 out of ten. Not bad for Cali, ;D. I'd recommend this place to SoCal familairs and visitors alike.

I'm devastated they no longer do the parmesan garlic tots. Honestly they were the best tots I've ever had. Because of this I had to change my order here for the first time in 10 years! Luckily the beer selection at the press always hits. The staff are always so chill and they'll strike up a conversation with you while you're at the bar. I've always loved coming here more than most places at the packing house. And even though my favorite toys are gone I'll still keep coming back ✌️.

We came here after starting at Villain’s brewing, the management and experience was a villain to our experience so it is properly named! We quickly left Villain due to the horrible service and wandered down the street and found this gem inside the packing house! We are so glad we moved on! Eddie and Angie were working and were ABSOLUTELY THE BEST to sit and share time with while having some drinks and food! They were so funny and Personable, served us well, the food was delicious and drink selection was off the charts! It was like they weren’t employees but friends! We even met Chris the manager and he was nice and cared about your experience! This place is a true treasure! Come enjoy your night and time with them! Eddie and Angie are your people, tip them well, they deserve it and will earn it! Thank you guys! We came back more during our visit to CA since this place was so awesome! Not villains! Go here and love your life and experience!

We were looking around for dinner at Packing District after beer-tasting around the other side of Anaheim so after walking around to check out the varieties of restos, found the Iron Press. If a taplist on a monitor has anything from Russian River; that is already a win win! Lol Just went with a pint of DDH Pliney and all is golden!! Next time gotta check out their foods also! Keep it up! Cheers!

No pictures we ate all of our meat cheese and bun burgers with bacon and a sunny side egg and all the large tater tots. Never had a bad burger experience and have been here multiple times. According to my friends who drink beer, the beer is good too :). We went yesterday and I remembered to take pictures before devouring my burger

I came here on a lunch date with my husband. It's inside the Anaheim packing house. My husband got a beer (forgot the name) but said it was good. Also I got the spicy fried chicken sandwich (spicy #3) with tater tots and it was delicious, also got extra Buffalo sauce and when added to the sandwich, uff, so much good flavor. The hubby got the classic burger with reg fries and it was delicious too. We got kicking ketchup for the fries& tots,, good! Everything is cooked fresh & everything came out bomb! Totally recommend if you're in the area!

Quality food at a somewhat reasonable price. Most of their sandwiches are around $12. The portions aren't huge but the food is so rich that you eat slowly and it ends up filling you up. They also have a variety of beers, but only two wines (Chardonnay and Malbec). I highly recommend doing a beer flight so you can experience several of their tasty beers in one sitting and then decide which one you like the most!

Staff is super patient. Knowledgeable on beers as any adult should be. The food is no joke. The hangover burger will patch you right up. It will make the crippled man walk once again. Grab a beer to add a touch of swagger to that walk. If you eat it with fries it will cure your hangover and your cancer. Have a seat outside! After all it’s for iron press eaters only and you probably need more sunlight than you’d like to admit

Food ordered: Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak. Taste: The Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak at The Iron Press is delicious. The wagyu steak is tender and flavorful, and the beer cheese is rich and creamy. The grilled bell pepper, mushroom, and onion add a nice sweetness and complexity to the sandwich. The French roll is perfectly toasted and holds up well to the weight of all the ingredients. Price: The Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak is $17. Presentation: The Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak is served on a paper plate with a side of pickle. Staff: The staff at The Iron Press is friendly. They are are able to supply me with extra utensils and napkins for my needs.. Overall, I highly recommend the Wagyu Philly Cheese Steak at The Iron Press in Seattle, WA. It is a delicious and satisfying sandwich that is well worth the price.

They have an expansive menu of foods and drinks, especially beer on tap! We went there with a group of friends and we ordered different tap drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed mine. It was very fruity and smooth to swallow. I 10/10 recommend this place, especially if you’re out with a group!

My treat to myself! Love this place so much, amazing food and an even better selection of beer! Wish I was able to get a pic of their tap selection but I was to busy Grubb in on my amazing chicken & waffle sandwich with garlic & parm tots. The jalapeño infused maple syrup is to die for!! The service is amazing, engaging and friendly with lots of wit and care about what they do. You can tell everyone works their butts off and loves every second of it. I would eat here every day of the week if I could. 100 out of 10 stars in my book!!

The turkey avocado sandwich was good, but I wish it had more flavor, or some kind of spread on the bread. The bread was also stiff, I wish it was toasted.

This place is amazing. What I thought was cheap nacho cheese was actually very delectable, and had a surprisingly unique taste. You also get a great value with your money which is also very important in my book. Fantastic food, and great service. Its another amazing place at packing house

Nice little spot in Costa Mesa if you want to push out your waistline a bit. Great choice of beers. The only concern is that the meal feel just a hair short of complete. I would like to see a few more non waffle side orders otherwise the place is great.

S

Excellent food, and a surprisingly interesting selection of beer. Reasonable sized portions, but its still waffles so you end up pretty full. A tad on the expensive side, but its in hipster-land so to be expected. I had the country fried chicken & gravy which was great, also tried a few bites of one of the sandwiches which was good but a little bit too heavy on the pesto for me to want to eat the whole thing.

B

It seems that waffle sandwiches are the thang now. I was seated at the counter and Johnny, one of the co-owners, welcomed me and since it was my first time he gave me a quick rundown on the food. Ton of beers on tap and which sandwiches he recommended. I love me some chicken and waffles so I went with that. Waffles are thick and it was paired with jalapeno maple syrup and the chicken was fried and in strip form. Good, it reminded me of Hash house a go go but in a manageable portion. No sandwich and fries combos, they are sold separately. Good, I would totally go back. I need to try their burger which looked so good.

Very satisfied with this restaurant. A wide selection of beers are offered with some wine offerings as well. If you are a health conscious ester you may want to stick to drinks as there aren't many low calorie type options available. As long as that is understood the menu offers numerous waffle and non waffle type dishes. Presentation was surprisingly detailed and appreciated. Many televisions were playing the current sporting events and highlights. The atmosphere is a bit loud so it is not the best place to do work especially considering the surrounding area but it is a great place for a casual night out.

Love the great selection at this eatery in the Anaheim Packing District. Must try their Iron Press brew on tap and the Chicago Hotdog. Great outdoor seating but Be aware that the price of a beer on tap is $9.

I had an excellent Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwich. The garlic Parmesan fries were good but had enough to kill a vampire. Husband’s Philly Cheesesteak was 3/5, there wasn’t much cheeses the vibe here overall is super cool though!

Delicious waffles hot off the press! I had a breakfast themed waffle sandwich (the superior meal) and my husband had the spicy chicken and waffle sandwich. We both loved the sandwiches and were overall very happy with the meal. The only underwhelming part of our meal was the side of fried pickles. They were so heavily coated in batter that the pickles were lost.

Three stars during pandemic, but definitely 5 stars in normal time. 2 places were open, the rest was closed (or wouldn’t take my order) even before 8:30pm. The guard kicked me out because I was eating a popsicle.

Food was great, inventive dishes, great beers and some really different menu options. Lots to try, for sure. The service, however, was decidedly lacking, so much so that it ruined the food. Even sitting at the counter, waitresses were hard to flag down, and not attentive for not many guests. We were clearly not the only table that had this issue, lots of displeased guests trying to not only get service, but get the right plate they ordered. Worth a try, but only if you're fairly sure you're the only people there. Management should really take a hard look at how they train the staff.

j
jon chua

Pros: good beers on tap, for a reasonable price. The tater tots are awesome. The wait staff is very nice. Cons: wanted to like the waffle sandwiches but it pales in comparison to bruxie. The waffles itself didn't have as much of a taste, and I prefer the crunchier waffles at bruxie.

G

I used to frequent this place but I haven't been for quite some time. The IPA Irish Nachos aka the Fowl Play has gotten considerably smaller and the price hasn't been properly adjusted. I understand inflation but it was about half the size I remember it. Food was still good (used to be great) but the portion was very small for what it cost. Beer selection is great but the food was what truly kept me around. After this last visit I may not be back again.

Staff always friendly. Beer choices always great also like the blue rasberry cider they have had lately. Seating outback comfortable. The food though...we have been coming here since day one and the food quality has drastically gone down. I ordered chicken and waffles this past Friday. It lacked everything. First off the chicken was like biting into a muscle. This usually happens when chicken is cut wrong. It was disgusting and the waffle was so soggy in the middle it was mush. I couldnt even eat the meal. Husband got the smash burger and though he said it tasted good black grease was dripping from it. Tator tots still good. To have your business in a location like this with so many choices you should keep the quality up.Plus prices are high so for a disappointing meal like this it stings even more. I would never eat here again. Bring back the crunch of the churro waffle!!

J
Julie Turner

Drove from Long Beach to get my favorite gluten free waffle only to find out they were out of stock with their gluten free waffle mix. Maybe try going to your sister restaurant to pick up some ingredients? My husband had already ordered a beer before finding out the news. Being gluten free I was unable to eat here today and they still charged us for the beer. We normally come here two-three times per month, but I think we will take a break from this place.

I was amazed of how the kitchen if full of Mexican workers and the food was amazing, yet I was treated like a left over. I paid more than 40 dollars for a sandwich and beer. So sad to see if was the only one who was ignored and for an example not even an coster.. I even mentioned it to another customer but I was not even given an apology. What's to expect if you're not white. I literally live around the corner.
