Angleton Seafood Angleton Reviews
First and foremost shout out to our waiter Wyatt. Chill dude. Very helpful and respectful! Every server needs to learn from him lol! Food is very good hot and fresh! + very quick with the orders as well! Got yourself a customer for life here now!
New owners are fantastic. Food and presentation were superb as well. This is our favorite restaurant in this area of Brazoria County. Both Asian and seafood are excellent. Wife wants to try a steak and shrimp for Valentine’s Day.
Since moving back to Angleton, I’ve been here multiple times and the experience is always great. The customer service is top-notch—everyone is welcoming and accommodating. My favorites so far: the fried red snapper, the burgers (seriously on point), and the Viet-style crawfish. Chef’s kiss every time!
Very friendly service and great portions. Had the 6 shrimp and fish combo with coleslaw. One of the best coleslaws I have had and the fish was incredibly moist. Will be back to try the Thai curry and pad Thai options.
Have not been to this restaurant in a really long time but saw Facebook post that talked about the great food with the new owners. I ordered a couple of things, including shrimp fried rice, to pick up and bring home. The food was awesome. Especially the shrimp fried rice awesome. I will be going back to dine in to try their Seafood and other items on there menu. This is not the same old Angleton Seafood Restaurant
This is our first time here since we found out they have NEW MANAGEMENT! The experience from the moment we walked through the door was a completely different experience from the last time we were here several years ago. The owners are so nice and informative. The food selection is huuugge. The Asian food selections are tempting! We came in for the seafood and got the Cambodian noodle broth and the pepper steak with Jasmine rice. We also had an order of their fried crispy egg rolls! Got too excited and forgot to take a pic of those. Lol. We also ordered some fried shrimp to go that turned out great! This place is a hidden gem!
Stop by angleton seafood for the first time today in a long time. I was happy to see there were new owners and a whole nother menu along with familiarities and also Cambodian and Vietnamese type food. I simply ordered a wanton soup just because I had some implants done and I needed to eat something soft. But my God best wonton soup ever. Looking forward to coming back with my family. The owner of the place was very kind and more than helpful on what would be best for my situation. Thanks Mihn !
from the minute, we walked in to the minute we walked out. It was a most pleasurable experience the atmosphere the friendly customer service. The attention to detail made our seafood experience. Want to remember thank you staff. We had a great dinner. Ms.mayrose our waitress is outstanding 10/10
Stopped in to have lunch and we were expecting just an average meal...but we were blown away! Some of the best seafood we have ever had! Friendly owners and staff. Reasonable prices. Nice pleasant atmosphere. We couldn't be more happy! We are already planning our next visit to this amazing gem of a restaurant! If we could give it more than 5 stars we would!
With the new owners and the new staff, this place is tha Bomb!! The food was perfectly made. The servings were huge!! All the seafood, salad, wings, crawfish tails, Gumbo, and fish filets were 100% fresh!! The large bowl of Gumbo is HUGE!! Enough for 2 people!! We had tons of hott sauce, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce! I am a picky eater, and I was very impressed. We will definitely return. I had nothing to complain about, and that is amazing.
First time I tried food in this restaurant, it is really good, and big portion too. Price is so reasonable and more than other restaurant in angleton .i have tried 3 different kind of food in here today. I moved to angleton for 3 years , whenever I want to eat Thai or Cambodian food or Asian food, I always went to restaurant at Pearland or Balair. I am glad I found angleton sea food, I don’t need to drive an hour for that , plus it is bigger portion and price is a lot of cheaper than food in other city. Most restaurants who run Thai or Khmer food they make it so sweet, but not here. They have hundred food of Asian and western style in their list for serving you all here. And if you want pho , here is also available. Staff are friendly and serve you with smile. Thank to this restaurant for being here. Please give them a try , you won’t regret. 😊. My family and I will keep coming
I took the family to a spontaneous visit here, Saturday during lunchtime. There is no wait and we were sat immediately. The server was very friendly and tended to our needs. She brought out my son’s food first which I appreciated. Everything tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. They use a different batter than Lake Jackson seafood and in my opinion it was better. We will be recommending and returning here.
Awesome stop for everything seafood! Anything under the sea offered boiled, grilled or fried. Plus an extensive offering of various asin cuisine (including boba!). Authentic Cambodian dishes offered. Everything served hot and fresh with very attentive waitstaff - you'll not receive better service anywhere! Make this your local seafood stop :)
We were traveling through Angleton on the way home from the beach (July 2025) and were both craving seafood. We found this place through a Google search. We split a fried scallops, fried oysters and fried shrimp combo plate. It was delicious. I also got a large serving of coleslaw and my husband had a salad. The food was great and hit the spot. It was plenty for the two of us and would have been a lot for one, lol! The menu was extensive, the service was great, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. We highly recommend it. I’ve attached a picture of our “split” combo plate that we had already half eaten (sorry!). Picture doesn’t show the salad or coleslaw that was included.
We finally stopped by after driving past it so many times and actually came here because Margarita Jones ran out of crawfish…and best decision ever!! I just moved to this part of town and was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to get the bold garlic/asain style crawfish I could easily get in Houston. But this is now my go to spot!! Their grilled shrimp is also really good. 10/10 recommend. Lots of seating area and plenty of parking. Friendly staff and service.
Great food, service, and kind/ welcoming new owners! We have had many things off of the menu before but had never tried the crawfish here so we tried them tonight. Amazing is an understatement! If you enjoy Asian/Vietnamese style crawfish get ready to save yourself the commute to Houston! If you’re a local this is different than our typical Cajun crawfish and 100% worth a try (and might be one of the better crawfish deals in town). To top off the experience the new owner and staff were kind, friendly, and the service was excellent! 10/10 recommend. P.S. the crawfish are as good as they look in the photos! I updated the post with photos! I have since also tried their Pad Thai which was soo delicious and great portion. Cannot wait to order it again!
When Angleton Seafood first opened up, we went once or twice. It was so underwhelming that we just stopped going for years. Back in February, we heard that they were under new management. So we figured we'd give them another try. We ordered crawfish to go. The person on the phone was really nice and professional. The crawfish was great, so we decided to try them out again for dine-in. We went in April and got their fried seafood. My wife LOVED the fried shrimp and scallops and my fried snapper was excellent. So tonight, we decided to go again. To our surprise, they had a whole separate Asian food menu along with their normal seafood menu. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! My wife still got the fried shrimp and scallops. We also got their crispy fried chicken wings and hand made shrimp dumplings for appetizers. I had the steak and Chinese broccoli. The service is so gracious and attentive. The 2 people working in there are extremely nice. And the fact that they serve authentic, hand made Asian food along side high quality seafood is more than enough reason for us to keep going back. If you're like us and swore off Angleton Seafood, I HIGHLY recommend you give them another shot.
Atmosphere was quiet, service was quick. Our waitress was attentive, she did not mention her name, and they were out of all Crab entrees. I ordered Jumbo Shrimp that were fried to perfection, side of Coleslaw could have used a little vinegar along with pepper overall my meal was tasty. Prices are reasonable, there are many grammatical errors in the menu but you’ll get it. When in the area, I recommend you stopping by.
Angleton Seafood Restaurant is not a bad place to have lunch. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Upon first entering I noticed it was pretty warm inside. Their A/C quit working, but one of the staff quickly let everyone know that they were working on it and apologized to every customer, Much respect for that. I originally came in because I was craving crab legs, so it was a bit disappointing that they were out of King and Snow crab. I decided to make the best of it and ordered a beer and the fried Calimari. The beer was cold and the Calimari was very well done. I really enjoyed them. I then ordered the 6 grilled Jumbo Shrimp, with fries and coleslaw. The shrimp was also really good and the coleslaw was fantastic! All in all, I would go again. They did seem a bit understaffed, but the employees that were there, were busting their backsides to take care of the customers. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy. The other thing I noticed was that this place was screaming for a bar. If any place should have a bar installed it is this place, it just seems like a missed opportunity. I recommend Angleton Seafood Restaurant for a good meal and decent prices. NOTE: (I realize now that the pictures I posted of the menu have too much light in certain areas, but you can see the prices and get an idea.) Great service!
Not so great! We waited almost an hour and a half for our food! And when the waitress finally came with our food she accidentally dropped my burger on the floor then she put it back on the plate like WHAT???!!! You literally drop a burger on a nasty floor then act like it’s okay and just pick it and put it back on the plate!!???? I told her I didn’t want it since she dropped it and I asked if they could make a new one and she just stood there confused acting like she had no idea what i just told her and then she said no and walked away! So I asked the lady at the front desk of they could make me a new burger and she said no as well! And then she started talking to me with an attitude saying “leave now or we’re calling the manager up here” so we left and went to go eat somewhere else HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!
I have eaten in the past at this restaurant and the food was good but the management wasn't. I ate there today the service and management was ok but the food was horrible. It's always under new management, I'm not sure what's going on but maybe it need to close until they get it together 🤔.
