Very friendly staff, and the food is fantastic. Prices are very reasonable , especially compared to costs at SoCal restaurants. Love the fact that they offer a cup option on their soups: menudo, pozole, and albondigas. I spend a lot of time in mexico and their menudo is on point. They even make their own tortillas in house. A must visit if passeding through Arcata.

Holy smokes is this place good! I had the carnitas lunch plate and it was filled! My new fav for this side of humboldt county. Sorry no pics. I ate it all 😁 Update: new owners, new menu, same cooks. Fingers crossed 🤞 still very good! Update #2: took pictures before eating it all this time 🤤 Update #3: yep, back for more. What can we say? We really enjoy their food Update #4: did I mention we really enjoy the food here?

This restaurant has a great atmosphere full of beautiful Mexican art. The staff are friendly and provided food and drink promptly. There are vegetarian options too. The food was great. We will be back. We were quite enthralled with the decorated chairs so I included a photo of those. Every one was different.

Don’t sleep on this spot if you’re in the area. The food and service are amazing. Jose M. took great care of me. I had some special requests for my daughter and Jose made sure to take his time to get everything right and he did. I decided to wait at the bar for my order where I was immediately greeted by Monica who offered me a drink while I waited. She proceeded to make me a lip smacking michelada and chatted me up while I waited which was very nice. I mentioned that I was just passing through town and she suggested some cool local spots with great views along the way. We will definitely go back. We hope they last another 50 years

Love eating here. We usually get the customer's favorite. This time we had the horchata, which was delicious, and I had a Moscow mule with was just what I wanted. Came on a Sunday for lunch and it wasn't too busy, but service was fast and friendly.

I consider this to be my favorite place for authentic mexican food. Good service and friendly staff. Great drinks. Salsa is delicious, as well. Highly recommended.

Can get busy and for a good reason. Visiting or traveling through stop by and grab a bite. It will be a stop added to your trip next time.

We had our granddaughters 3rd birthday here. It was fabulous. They did a remarkable job bringing out churros a candle, bubbles singing, a sparkler all while 3-4 wait staff joined us for a happy birthday song. She love it. Food was good as well. Thank you Fiesta Grill!

Summer 2025, my family did a road trip along the ca coast and we stopped at this restuarant for dinner to celebrate my mol’s 74th birthday. We were so surprised (and appreciative) that our waiter organized a lil surprise - deseert, candles, bubbles, and song and dance. You all made my mom feel extra special. And the food was delicious. We plan to ce back to arcata soon.

Great food. The ONLY chile rellenos cooked properly in Humboldt that we have found! They stuff a chile with cheeses, dip in egg and fry to perfection! Service is spot on 90% of the time -we have had a couple experiences of A- to B service but our family goes here often so not down starring them for that. Lively colors on the walls & furniture. Birthdays include bubbles sparklers and singing!

We walked up from the Ramada next door and as we walked in, couldn't find out if we sit ourselves or wait to be seated. No sign and the guy at the cashier never greeted or said anything to us. So we went to sit down and it took a little while before someone came to us. Turns out you wait to be seated. Waiter was very pleasant and helpful. Kids shared a big burrito, I got the carne abodabo plate, husband got the enchilada plate with the chile relleno and my little one got the quesadilla plate. Food was delicious. A bit pricey but the plates were full. Totally worth the price. There is no kids menu but they do have a small plate option.

Incredible margaritas with tons of flavors available! Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. They even have a couple of all-day brunch options available.

The food was very good. I especially liked my fajitas. We liked their homemade tortillas. The atmosphere was very nice. We only wish the chips and salsa were better. But, we would go there again.

I have been here a few times and sometimes it is better than others. Overall I say the food is okay. The place is fun and has good energy and there are generally a lot of people around. I think you get a good amount of food but it lacks flavor. The night I wrote this the chips were stale. Salsas are good though!
