Great Philly cheesesteaks and hamburgers. Quick fast service. Super clean.
Love, love their cheese burger, fried and zucchini fries. The ranch is good too!
I stopped by Tip Top Hamburger and ordered the Philly Works with a side of fried zucchini, and honestly it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The Philly was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and loaded just right. The fried zucchini was crispy, fresh, and the perfect pairing. Great food, fast service, and solid portions. Definitely my new go-to spot. Highly recommend!
Growing up in SoCal, burgers are a big part of life. Beyond In-N-Out, there are plenty of great local spots. I remember my neighbor’s burger joint — a highlight of block parties. Fast forward to high school, and Tip Top became a regular spot, especially since I had friends in the area. After all these years, the quality is still just as good. The charbroiled flavor, the creamy thousand island dressing, and those perfectly crispy hot fries — it’s a winning combo. I was nearly done, but a gym date was calling. I asked for a to-go box, and the guy looked a little disappointed. We both laughed and joked, “Skip the gym, finish the meal!
Tiny shop in the area but delicious burgers, very clean great service and orders come out quick. The place looks like from the 70's -80's with the ceiling covered with frames. Has 3 or 4 little tables inside plus a nice patio to enjoy the meal. I had the double cheeseburger combo, it was really tasty, I'm looking forward to try the avocado burger combo. And the best part is the price, $15 bucks for a good combo. This place is good to have a good chat with friends or even alone, I personally recommend this spot to anyone craving for a burger.
First timer here. The restaurant looks like authentic diner from 60s. They have a small dining area and a patio outside. The portion is big enough for one hungry person and the price was good. I got a philly cheesesteak with a soft drink and fries. The cheesesteak was really well seasoned and grilled and was delish! Fries was perfectly crispy and good. My order was ready in minutes. I noticed that people keep coming here, they have their regulars. I have to try their hamburgers next time as well! Good job and I recommend everyone to try this place
First time here! Food is delicious. Got to try the Hot Pastrami sandwich and it was delicious. My favorite so far is the Steak Sandwich (Rib eye) i got mine well done and it was perfect. Im usually vegan but i dabble in meat every so often. Glad i tried this place. Definitely come try them out if your around!
So American restaurant, just visited and WOW! the flavor of the Chicken Burger so delicious, they served with a tender meat, also what a surprise for me their fried zucchini, and the break fast! this is a classic "small" place where the flavor and quality ingredients are their number one priority, one thing I noticed was that the place has a great variety of pictures and one that cached my attention was the one with Danny Trejo! Machete! check it out it is signed by him. A must to visit restaurant for all burger lovers!
Great food. Had a double bacon avocado burger with no onions and it was delicious. The French fries were really good too.
I decided to stop by here to get a burger. It been a very long time since I last came here. I went with the bacon cheeseburger deal that they had that comes with fries and a drink. The inside of this place is very small like four booth and they also have outdoor seating. It took awhile for my food to get made. The burger was okay with nothing special to it, the fries were very plain so I think they forgot to add salt and the soda taste more flat.
Overall this places looks old, it feels like you can get tetnis from sitting in the booths. The burgers have no season and I mean no seasoning someone needs to tell them just because you season the grill, or whatever is used to cook the burger doesnt mean you don't have to season the meat itself. Also they put way too much veggies, by the time you get home the bun is wet thru and soggy and I live 5 mins from them so thats crazy! You can put the veggies between the meat so they don't ever touch the buns, can't believe im tell that simple hack to a burger joint. Also my food was cold, and i timed it it took me 7 maybe 8 minutes to leave the place and get inside my house putting the food on a plate and it was literally ice cold. Also the meat they use is way too gammy, im guessing theyre using an primarily Angus blend which just isnt my favorite cut especially when turned into a burger. Also the menu, wow its just too much, and way to varried, if you're gonna do burger why Also do subs and tuna sandwiches. Just doing too much which its hard to make everything at the same level of quality. Not gonna even talk about the fries, just a mass of wet, limp, undercooked slop. If you have to choose between this place and holiday burger its no contest holiday everytime!!! Even if you have to sit through a 20+ minute wait it is well worth it I promise you.
This place is so mid. They’re expensive, and they skimp you out on portions. Not only that but the old guy who takes the orders is very unwelcoming, and rude. The old man who used to take the orders before was way more welcoming. This greedy rude man just lost a customer and I will recommend everyone to go to QUEENS on Osborne, JIMMYS on lakershim, and HOLIDAY burger on Devonshire. Way better food, atmosphere and service at all of the ones I just listed. Won’t be coming back here
The blandest Phillysteak I have ever tasted. No enough cheese. 0 seasoning. Dry to boot. Idk who’s giving this place good ratings. I can’t believe what constitutes as edible food at some places that are in business. Just gross.
