La Playita Arlington Reviews
Huband and I ate lunch.here. place is clean with nice decor. Our server was pleasant and attentive and food we had was very good., burrito and chicken enchiladas. Rice and beans good too. Prices fair. We will come back soon Thanks.
This was our first time there. Really good food! We had 2 tacos; $5.00 for both and the taco was mostly meat and cheese unlike a lot of restaurants that are mostly lettuce. And we has the chicken enchiladas suizas; really tasty and like the tacos, the enchiladas had a lot of meat in them and the green sauce was very good. The serrvice was amazing. Attentive without feeling like they were standing over your shoulder. Highly recommended.
The food was excellent!! I really appreciate how they support their community they must of had about 40 people participate in the 4th of July parade. They had horses and a band. You could tell they really love what they do. I will definitely visit them again.
Great service always on top of things as a delivery partner always respectful and never here more then 10 minutes max
The food was phenomenal! Honestly, so good!
My favorite mexican restaurant!!! They have the best salsa, food is consistently good and the staff are always happy and friendly. They also make the BEST blended margarita around....and I dont order blended drinks anywhere! They are a perfect mix of not too icy and not too liquidy-watermelon is my fave!!
Yummy, went in for a quick lunch while my bicycle was being repaired. Taquitos rancheros delicious stuff, fast service, fast prep. They serve the chips with a delicious salsa and some refried beans which was nice. Salsa was not over spicy and had a lot of chunky vegetables. I was impressed hot, fresh, fast, cheap, delicious, well done! I can’t wait to return.
Just stopped by here for take out since dining in is not an option - 10 stars! Even received chips and salad with my to go order st no charge. Huge portion and great lunch specials. Support the locals!
We love this place. The food and staff are awesome. They also own the Silver Scoop ice cream parlor down the street so we go there for dessert. Win win.
These people are so hospitable. Went with 12 family members for a birthday celebration and we stayed for 3 hours! Never did they make us feel that we needed to rush and checked on us to be sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend
The service was prompt, polite and courteous. The food was delicious and tasted even better since it was served hot and fresh. Though it felt a bit pricey when I saw the menu, but the quantities and taste completely justified it.
I eat here a couple times a month and I absolutely love it. I've eaten several different dishes from all sections of the menu and never had something I didn't like. The staff is kind and friendly. I've never had to send anything back; my order is always correct. I would highly recommend the Camarones Monterey if you like shrimp. They also make amazing/strong drinks, I would recommend a Cadillac margarita (I love the mango one).
I had a veggie quesadilla, it was outstanding!
Nothing negative to say about this place. Very friendly service and generous with the complimentary chips, salsa, and refried beans. As you might expect, the portions are ample. My family of four ordered three entrees and we still couldn't quite finish it all.
Great place good service good food comfort food.. enchiladas!!! The cost involved 3 grown adults and alcoholic beverages.
Decided to stop by for dinner and so glad we did. We were greeted immediately by the manager on duty and he guided us to our table. Our server was Many (hope I spelled it right) and he greeted our table immediately with great enthusiasm (which is a big plus). We placed our drink and food order, everything came out on point and on a timely manner. Food portions were very filling. Our server was very attentive and manager also checked our table periodically. Service was outstanding. We will be returning!
After finding out the Casino location is permanently closed, we tried the Arlington one. All of the staff were very friendly, our meals came out very quickly and the food was excellent. We will definitely be back!
One of my goto places for Mexican food. Normally order a burrito this time ordered something different. Very happy with any of the food I have chosen off the menu.
LOVE this place! Friendly, attentive staff, good serving portions. BEST in-house salsa while you peruse the menu (although my husband finds it a bit on the spicy side). The fajita burrito is one of my favorites.
Ive been coming here for a year and have never had a bad experience here. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. Chips come with spicy salsa and beans. Drinks are made strong and the servers are nice and attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for Mexican food in the area.
I ordered pork carnitas, and they were delicious. The restaurant and staff are garbed in bright, colorful prints. Service was good. I would definitely go again.
We love this place so much, delicious food, decent portions for the price and very friendly people. Especially the bartender, what a nice guy. Had a great time, thanks again
We love visiting Playa Bonita! The staff is friendly and the food is always great! We love coming here!
Great food, good prices, friendly servers, good service. The food is a lot more authentic than some of the local competition. It is still toned down quite a bit, but you can request it spicier if you want. Also you can ask for roasted peppers. (They are not on the menu) Yummy
We eat here quite often. The staff is so friendly and we love the food and atmosphere! Good drinks too!
This is a great place for your Mexican food fix. I got chicken enchiladas and was pleased with the flavor of the chicken, sauce, and the rice. The food was very good and portions were generous. The service was very attentive as well. Good place with exactly what you expect in an American Mexican restaurant.
This is my go to date night spot with my boyfriend! It’s such a cute little place with friendly staff that remember you if you’re a regular. I’ve never had to wait super long even if they’re in a rush and slammed with customers. The food is always quality flavor and feels pretty fresh. A great downtown spot to check out if you’ve got a little extra money to spend
First time there. Service personnel was friendly & very accommodating. Wish we'd ask to be seated away from the entrance. The door would slam shut every single time! Being winter time it was absolutely frigid! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Food was steaming hot & delicious. Prices were not exorbitant. Will definitely return when in that area.
Family of 5 really like coming here for dinner! The food is great! Manager & almost all waitresses fantastic! Head on in!
Came in with a friend who offered to buy me lunch, never been here or heard of it, but I promise to be back. Very friendly staff, feels more like a family working together from their home. The meat was cooked on a charcoal grill, which really surprised me. And it all came out looking amazing. Big suprise... it tasted even better! Keep it up yall! I'm looking forward to my next meal!
Been here three times in the last two weeks. Love this place. Been a loyal customer since they've opened up. All their food is great. Their burgers are killer too. Great mixed drinks and especially Shirley temples. Great people. Priced decent. Can go out to eat without breaking the bank. Affordable. Don't go to LaHa, come here for great food. It's the grub. Truly is
It was a Friday night and every table was taken, but we asked if we could sit in the cocktail area. They said 'yes' and we found a cozy spot with a table for two. We got waited on promptly and our meal came within 10 minutes of ordering. It was very delicious. Atmosphere nice, bathroom older but with Mexican flare and clean. And the prices excellent. Even my cocktail was just $5.00 whereas we've seen them as high as $8.50 elsewhere, especially in the new Costco Center east of I-5 in Smokey Point. Our waitress was friendly and had a great demeanor. We had a nice dinner. Lisa Phillips, Arlington
It was not busy Sunday night, however the waitress was not friendly and checked on us often enough. The foods were delicious.
They are a great local restaurant that I've gone to since a child. They have amazing service. An example is that a friend ordered a medium rare steak (can't remember the exact meal), but got it well done (over cooked). The staff willingly took the plate back to the kitchen and gave him a new plate that he said was "The best I've ever had". I would highly recommend this restaurant for family gatherings like birthdays.
I come here every time I visit the area. The staff is always amazing. So friendly and so efficient. They have the takeout order service down perfectly. Carne asada plate is usually my go-to, and the burritos can fill a large stomach with ease.
I Absolutely Love coming here to eat. The food is always delicious, the service is very kind and hospitable. If you find yourself in little downtown Arlington, you should stop in for a bite or an ice-cold beverage. You won't be disappointed. 😊
Good food and the bartender can be a hoot. They actually have a pretty good selection behind the bar and a few high-end flavors of booze the boss didn't go that crazy he was only taking $25 shots of tequila. I had the Chili Colorado which was awesome and Dos Equis on tap .
Family friendly, the staff is always so personable and attentive. Really great space for large groups or even for just enjoying the bar away from the center of the family friendly area. Easy parking and location. Amazing food with good prices. Good drinks! I hadn't gone back in over a year and they still knew who I was and asked questions about me that I was shocked they still remembered
Food and service is always great here! It's the best food in town, we have been coming here for year and have never had bad service or bad food. Always a good value for the price!!
Best Mexican Food closest to my house & job so it's a great choice for lunch and dinner. I came here on an hour lunch and got my food with 10 minutes and was able to enjoy the rest of my break. The sense of urgency at this establishment is phenomenal. The waitress’ here are super sweet and make coming here so pleasant. The food is always fresh and hot! The carne asada street style tacos are very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
Me and my daughter went here for lunch. I’m telling you that they got the best burritos in the world and I love their hot bean dip. I like the green sauce and a burrito lasted me like almost 2 days. It was so big for 20 bucks.
A very wide variety of Mexican dishes. The Cadillac Margarita is great. The service is fast and everyone is friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good Mexican food.
Our first time at Playa Bonita and it was a really good experience! They were able to accommodate my son’s allergies and we all had a delicious meal. The staff was super friendly and we ate so much for a very reasonable price. :)
Our family loves all locations. We visited downtown Arlington to celebrate my birthday. Dishes and service are plentiful, flavorful, and beautiful - cannot go wrong with ribeye fajitas! My family mentioned my birthday, and I got a dessert on the house. The staff delivered dessert singing happy birthday!! Thank you for making me feel special😊
When travelling to American, a Mexican meal is a must, and Playa Bonita did not disappoint me. I am travelling with a group of 7 and we all love the food. We ordered Fajitas, beef carnitas, camarones monterrey, shrimp tacos and a shrimp cocktail things that I don’t remember the name, but all dishes are delicious and well cooked. If you like desserts, I think their Churros are the best!
I went to Playa Bonita for the first time yesterday. I don't eat Mexican food much, though I do like it very much. Being new to the area, I haven't been to many Mexican restaurants; only La hacienda and taco time. I can say for certain that Playa Bonita is the best Mexican food restaurant I've been to (comparable to my favorite Mexican spot back home in Boston)! The restaurant was colorful and bright, a huge building right in the heart of Arlington. Nice and clean table, bathrooms, etc. I loved how we got beans in addition to chips and salsa; that was a first for me. The waitress was patient listening to our orders and made sure my grandma's vegetarian taco salad was exactly as it was ordered. I got the three enchiladas with extra cheese and the portion was huge! Very delicious and cheesy. Everyone else loved their food, and the (flour) tortillas they gave my wife were soft, hot, and fresh. We also got the electric watermelon drink which was yummy. This will definitely be our go to Mexican spot from now on! I look forward to trying out some other menu items that caught my eye!
Decent food, drinks are mixed strong and friendly staff. Overall a pretty decent environment for lunch or dinner. Price is fair and most popular Mexican cuisine available here.
Pretty good, for standard Gringo-Mexican fare. I'll bet the cooks know a lot better recipes than these, though - I'd encourage them to make Playa Bonita a destination restaurant by offering la cocina Mexicana autentica!
Overall happy with the food and experience. A little odd that when our meal came with tortillas no one asked if we wanted corn, they just brought flour. (I'm allergic to wheat so wouldn't eat flour ones)
One of our favorite local restaurants.
Nice staff, fun bartender and fast service. The food was good. They have a few more dishes beyond the typical enchilada type dishes that other local Mexican restaurants have to offer. Some of the items are more traditionally prepared brining them closer to things I’ve had in Mexico and the streets of LA. Overall I’ve always had a great experience with the staff and a good meal here.
On the higher priced side. Wonderful food & service 🙂 The plate was huge. My friend & I shared. 😋 We had a shrimp 🍤 dish.
My husband and I have been here a few times with some family and love coming here. Food is great and the people are friendly! It gets pretty busy at the times we end up going it's pretty crazy but it shows how good they are!
We've dined in as well as ordered take out from Playa Bonita for many years. They are consistent in their quality and service. I tend to order something new every other time and I'm never disappointed with their entrees. My only complaint are the chips and salsa...they are not very crispy and go stale by the next day (take out). The salsa has too much cilantro and onion for my taste.
This is place is my feel good place. I don't go here often but when we do the hostess always greets ms so nicely and makes me feel like she is genuinely happy to see us! There food is great and the drinks are strong. We highly recommend going here. Then take a walk around Arlington to help you digest the big meal you just had here. :)
I just had the chicken wings they were actually decent. I've had the burrito supreme and carne asada too and both are really good. Someone in our group ordered a chimichanga and she had to have it cooked again because it was burnt. They also we're very stingy on the napkins
We ordered a to go order. We ordered the Deluxe burrito and it was been much smaller than the Playa Boinita in Granite Falls. The Tiajuana Carne salad is really good, but they shorted the cilantro dressing. So, if they continue to short the portion sizes, we'll need to start ordering from someplace else. Otherwise, the quality of the food items is great and it tastes really good.
The service was good. The chips, salsa and bean dip were really good! The carne asada was over cooked, and the charred bits made the entire thing quite bitter. Seemed to be lacking a bit on the seasoning, but if the steak was cooked less it would have been a lot more enjoyable. Seemed like maybe a dirty broiler could have also been the cause of the bitter meat. It was ok tho. Next time I'll just order medium rare and hope for the best!
I ordered a deluxe burrito it was very good and it came fast. I didn't care for the chips and salsa the salsa was way too spicy for me and the chips didn't seem freshly made like many Mexican restaurants have and are for me one of the best parts about the whole experience. The sevice was slightly too casual or maybe ive just been spoiled by some of my favorite Mexican restaurants.
-Pleasantly surprised at the flavors of our dishes, and the amount, my God! My wife received the largest Burrito I've EVER seen served at ANY Restaurant (she said the same, and she's a former bartender & restaurant server/manager of several bars & restaurants), their Deluxe Burrito. She got to bring home half of it & get a second meal out of it. AHHH! Leftovers! Look-Out Paraisos! (in Smokey Point). Our guest had the #25 (I think), a burrito & an enchilada combo, which was equally Huge & he enjoyed. My Spicy Shrimp Salad (featured on a menu insert) was great, tho could've been bigger & contain a bit more Other Vegetables replacing some of the iceberg lettuce, just to go with that former theme. Edit:Oh, and watch out for the pico that comes with the chips, it's HOT! I'm a pepper-head, so I loves me some Heat, but this stuff is ON FIRE! *or maybe I was just overly sensitive on this day, which has happened before. -This place is located in the old Rome Pizza House building (from when I went to high-school here 30-some years ago, Yes, this dates me!), in historic downtown Arlington. Just North of the (also historic) Crosswalk Tavern, tho, now spelled 'Krosswalk'. -For This review, I've removed One ☆ for this reason only. A couple years ago my wife & I walked the length of the town (and then some!, Hospital to Haller), and stopped in here to see if she could use their restroom. It was during daylight hours, we were respectably dressed & they were not busy. We both felt as though they were standoffish & suspicious of us. I don't know if there had recently been some unwanted 'occurrence' or something... or perhaps it was just due to the language barrier, but we BOTH felt an uncomfortable resistance to our request. *Being an Empath, she is quite sensitive to these things, where I usually Don't even notice them, but this was blatant! Though they did let her use their restroom after suspiciously eyeing us up & down, I never thought I'd be made to feel this uncomfortable in my own hometown (not that they'd know that), I swore I'd not return. -That being said, I'm glad we gave it a 2nd chance! We'll most assuredly return.
Came in last week for dinner with my family and the service was not good. It was my son's birthday and I had to ask more than once for them to sing happy birthday. On top of that the Pico was less than stellar and I sent it back. The only reason I rate it 3 stars was because this is not the normal service I'm used to from this place.
The beef in my burrito was very bitter but I ordered churros and they were DELICIOUS!! The workers were rushing but there were very little customers. Workers were super nice though! Restaurant was beautiful!
The hostess seated us quickly. The chips and meals came fast. A simple ambiance so keep expectations balanced. The sax salsa is awesome . Food well proportioned and tasty. Give it a try.
Really mediocre food for way too much money. I was pretty surprised that my fiancé and I dropped $50 on only two meals and tip (no drinks, no appetizers) at a local Mexican restaurant. But for all that, the food was very unimpressive. We both got seafood dishes so maybe their other dishes are better? I'm giving them 3 stars to cut them some slack during the quarantine and because their pickup service was fine.
The food and service were good. I went there for happy hour but didn't get it because I didn't know there was a bar in the back. They serve you one basket of chips, one serving of salsa, and one serving of beans. All others are $1 each piece. I won't go back.
The food was good, but we had a couple issues. My bf ordered a Beef Fajita Burrito, but he got a chicken one. I ordered Shrimp Fajitas and none of the shrimp were cleaned properly, which was very unappetizing.
It was a fairly empty evening, we saw an empty table from the front, one we could keep an eye on our rare collector car we asked for that table. This up front lady said no because they needed for groups of 6. We had 3 though 5 other tables were available and refused to let us sit there, and didn't care about our request. In customer service, refusing a request is a big no no, especially on a slow evening. My husband and daughter still wanted to eat there, so it was uncomfortable for me, because I wasn't comfortable after her attitude. The food is okay, I personally like LA Hacienda better. I won't be going there again.
I went to this restaurant for my 21st birthday. My family all enjoyed their meals. I ordered the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was very overcooked unfortunately. I decided to let it go and just eat my food and call it good. No big deal. All I ended up eating was the rice and beans. While getting my tacos ready for a box I found a large hair. I let my waitress know and she seemed irritated by me informing her. She gave me a box for the tacos and didn't take them off our check. I never ended up eating them and paid 20 dollars for them. They gave me shots for my birthday and all was good. I was just kinda underwhelmed.
Not a huge fan... Obviously. The food was good. I had carne asada with some bacon wrapped shrimps. Tasty and cooked well. Not my favorite... I've had better Mar y tierra plates. But the service was lacking. Just odd really. Everyone who served us anything... from our main server to the person who brought waters and extra napkins, all just had a sharpness and a lack of friendliness. They seamed kind of annoyed to be serving people honestly. By the end of my meal, I couldn't wait to get out of there honestly. Too bad. I would try it again assuming that was just an off night. But we aren't in that area often.
I have mixed feelings about this place. It was not very special. The atmosphere was typical, the food typical. Not terribly exciting. Either way. We would stop in occasionally. Would stop more often if something, food, atmosphere, or drink wise were stepped up! Just saying!
Nice decor, food was good (although two of our orders were incorrect), but our waitress definitely did not make us feel welcome. Not one smile or "thank you for coming." We were considering having dessert, but she didn't even ask us if we'd like dessert before bringing our check. The feeling was "get out!".
I really dont care for the food. The prices are about the same as any Mexican restaurant. They do serve big parties there which is nice.
Food was very bland with little flavor. Sauces all taste like there from a can, not fresh or homemade. I used a lot of hot sauce just to get some type of flavor. I ordered combination platter and choice of meat only chicken or beef, no pork. My tamale was more cornmeal then chicken. Enchilada was half the size of other restaurants I have been to. Told sever I forgot to add the sour cream to my dinner for the .65 cents, She brought me some but later charged me 1.95, I brought it up to her and she said that was because it was on the side. I specifically told her I forgot to ask for it for my meal. Felt she was not happy about being here, even wife noticed her attitude, and we are not difficult people.
Eh. Very Americanized Mexican food. Same old same old as other blah blah.places. not impressed. To be more specific, the food is wet and soggy which is the same issue with a second Mexican restaurant in town. There is no focus on highlighting the individual ingredients. For example. if you order the Chicken Diablo, you get an amazing amount of heat, but that's it. There is no complexity in the sauce, the mushrooms, onions and chicken are total mush, rendering them flavorless except for the sauce they are cooked in, which is all heat and a bit of flavor. Real Mexican food is incredibly varied in texture, tastes and variety. I know a restaurant has to appeal to the masses to be successful, but it's so institutional as to lack any identity. Also serving food that is mushy and every ingredient is destroyed by the sauce is just wrong. $22.00 ( w/tax) for a plate of mush?
Nice quiet location. Server was polite.. Food was not as described. As well as over cooked. The margarita my friend ordered barely tasted of alcohol. As I love a good Mexican restruant I'm not sure this is making the list of places to return to.
Very disappointed. We love the Marysville restaurant, why would this one not be good too. We brought our granddaughter who is 4. I had to ask for crayons , they don't have any. Slow service. Always had to raise hand or try and get attention for more salsa, etc. My enchilada sauce tasted like it came from a can and the rice like dirt. The two other meals were fine. I was just very disappointed all the way around. We won't be back.
I read the reviews, and decided to try it out. I've been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the area. I walked in got a seat right away. I was surprised though by the atmosphere I felt while sitting there. I felt uncomfortable, uneasy and out of place, like I didn't belong or they didnt care. I really wasnt overly excited about my burrito tasting bland. It took a few to get another pop. It also took a few to get a box so I could just pay for the lousy service and food and leave. Not recommending this restaurant or going back.
Ok, the actual plate of food was delicious and the chips and salsa and beans as you sit down are my favorite, but you pay extra for them, and they never mention that until you see your bill! Also, I like margaritas with my Mexican food, and the last 3 times I have been there they absolutely tasted like and smelled like mold!! For real! Go try one right now! You will end up being disappointed too! Im sad, because years ago it was my favorite place to go!
Never order a to go order from this place. They will screw up 9 times out of 10 and then take 0 accountability for any of it. They will fight you at every turn about any problem. Not to mentioned they have gone way up in price and $23 for Carne asada is outrageous.
The food is amazing but the workers are not. Go to sit down to eat and one of the waiters had an attitude. My waiter didn't come to check up on us or asked if we needed anything else. I didn't tip her and I won't be coming in again. Hire new employees that have hospitality and respect
I can't say anything nice. Terrible service I took way too long to get the orders placed. (If you're gonna make people wait that long I would stop charging for extra chips). Also my boyfriend reported the restroom being nasty enough he would not even use it. (Says the man who just spent 10days camping in the woods) The food was bland and their "spicy" salsa the server warned us about wasn't even as spicy as tapitio. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
This is for the Arlington, WA location only. Overall: Can't recommend the food. Chips, salsa, bean dip: chips were fine, nothing to take notice of, salsa could have been better, spicy but lacking flavor at the same time, bean dip was only there to counter the very small size of the salsa bowl, nothing noticeable about the dip. I ordered the Tres Amigos, which for some reason was under Beef on the menu, even though part of the dish was pork. Chili Colorado: (beef in red sauce) the beef cubes tasted like good beef, the "red" sauce was very thin and didn't add much flavor. Chili Verde: (pork in green sauce) unfortunately the same, pork was there and tender, sauce was water thin, pooled on the serving plate and didn't add any flavor. Chili Relleno: after the first two Amigos lacking flavor, the Relleno was good, by itself it would not have been great. Rice and beans: standard middle of the road, nothing to get excited about. Had a ground beef taco (crunchy) on the side, separate plate, the taco was better than the Verde and the Colorado, not better than the Relleno. Dessert: Here's where the meal failed completely. I asked for the Creme Brulee Cheesecake: ( combine crunchy melted burnt carmel sauce ontop of cheesecake, sounds like an interesting combination of two desserts?) unfortunately what was brought to my table was a piece of something that looked like cheesecake drizzled with carmel sauce and some sauce at the bottom of the cake. There hadn't even been a match burned next to the top of the cake, let alone a chef's torch to make any of the carmel solid. So I can't say if it was cheesecake because I didn't have a single bite. When I asked the server if they could take it back and have it torched they said it would "melt". The Creme Brulee Cheesecake on the Dessert Menu is a lie, be cautious of any other dessert on the menu, they might be incorrectly described as well. I wasn't feeling like finding out if any other dessert was also falsely described, so I can't say anything for sure about any other dessert. The description from the owner on the website is very sincere and sounds like they really want to serve great food. The owner and head chef need taste the top 20 menu items and then retrain all the cooks to be able to make the truly excellent food that the owners description invites guests to enjoy. The other Mexican restaurant in Historic downtown Arlington is currently much better all around.
Don't go if there are only 2 of you. 2 large tables came in after us and got served. We sat there 15 min. No drink even. We left. I'm not coming back to any of their locations. The owner better get it together. People are picky, and now they vote with their wallets. If it wasn't for the events in arlington, they wouldn't be in business. It's the only thing keeping them in business. The unknowing tourists are eating there and not going back. Update: Thank you for being so rude. Found a good restaurant down the street they were attentive and courteous. The food was great. Love the flan best around.
Me and my friends were here at 12:00pm Wednesday January 22nd. I wanted a standard burrito with chicken, lettuce, rice, beans, and sour cream. Our rude and unhelpful server brought my food and it was completely wrong. It was a wet burrito with the lettuce and sour cream slapped on top. With tomatoes I didn’t ask for! I called her over and very politely asked for the burrito to be taken and I said I didn’t need it remade I just wanted the side of rice and beans it came with instead. I work in the food industry along with the friends I was with and whenever someone doesn’t eat their food because they don’t like it gets taken off the bill. She was very rude and tried gaslighting me into think that’s what I ordered. I DONT EVEN LIKE TOMATOES!!?! She called another server over to help he was very rude also and whenever I would mention that fact that I was confused why I was charged for the burrito, sour cream, lettuce, and TOMATOES? He kept walking away before I could talk about it. I was being polite because I work in the food industry and I know how it is. However, this was the worst service I have ever gotten. They gave me a 50% discount on the burrito only when I didn’t eat it and made me pay full price for the lettuce, sour cream, and the tomatoes that I didn’t want. If you like paying for food you didn’t eat or ask for this place is perfect for you!
I ate here before new years and got food poisoning baddd from the chicken enchiladas. My friend ate the same thing and also got bad food poisoning. I felt awful for days. Disgusting. Learned my sister got food poisoning from here before too. I will never go here again and never recommend. Dirty place.
I’m beyond upset with this place. I come here almost 2-3 times a month and this is the first time I’ve accidentally dropped my wallet at my booth. Keep in mind I was aware of how much cash I had inside as we planned to go there for lunch so I called to claim my wallet and upon arrival the money was missing so I asked about it and was respectful and grateful as I told them for the returned wallet but about the missing money they did nothing she claimed she was the one who found it but didn’t take anything from it?? That it was only 3 of them working and no one wanted to own up to stealing from me! I will never return after this treatment and I will be filing a police report!
Food is bland. Tastes like they are trying too hard to be neutral. Doesn't taste like authentic Mexican cuisine. No spice ,no flavor just meh. Ordered the Chicken fajitas for reference. Even the salsa and tortilla chips were uninspiring. Great service and friendly wait staff. The price was fair too.
Horrible customer service. I had to argue with the manager in person, after talking on the phone with a server for 20 minutes and being told I had to drive back in to the restaurant for a refund. Our to go order was missing an item and had melted whipped cream all over all the food, from our sopapillas, in the containers through the paper tops, there was curdled cream in my daughters rice and beans so she couldnt eat them. The manager argued with me and didnt give me my refund until I said I could send my husband in instead of me to collect it from him.
