Stormie Monday's Arlington Reviews
I love this place!! Great home cooking when u don't feel like cooking. And I love the portion sizes. I am able to eat from one plate multiple times. And that cook, Rachelle....she is the bomb and so down yo earth!!!
i eat here often and everything is so delicious and wonderfully prepared with love!this i can tell.very inexpensive meal as well🤌🏻the service is always with a big ol smile.recommend 20 out of 10 wings greens and mac and cheese🤌🏻
I will go to stormie Mondays everyday if I could and it's delicious
Fantastic meatloaf and chicken fried chicken . Everyone there was raving about the catfish but I unfortunately have an allergen, but I can only imagine the magic because what we had was delicious. Definitely get on them yams and greens too ! Woooweeee the plates are big too. You might consider splitting a meal if you go with someone. The place felt cozy and service and the people were great .
My favorite restaurant in FW. Always satisfying.
Absolute 🔥 soul food. Best in Fort Worth. Been here several times and never been disappointed. Call your order ahead to avoid a wait during busy hours.
My father and sister been coming here since 2013.. Best soul food in DFW.. I even lied to ma granny, and told her "I ate already", just to have space for Stormie Mondays. This is a ten dollar meal. 2 Fried catfish, yams, and dressing. Drinks are good too. You just gotta gotta come, its a chilled atmosphere, laid back. Music tv, its about to my sunday tradition after church.
Authentic soul food. Everything is delicious all the way down to the kool-aid! Large portions for a very fair price. If you try them once, you'll definitely wind up becoming a regular!
Try the baked potato with shrimp, sausage, ham ,& chicken very very awesome absolutely better than I expected & believe me it's not the kiddie size either bring your empty stomach because it'll be full when you leave
Went with a co-worker for lunch and was extremely surprised by the portion sizes and the variety of items offered for great prices. The banana pudding was hefty and tasty. The Kool aid was perfect and that Pastors Salad was 2 meals for me. The ladies were very pleasant at both counters. Definitely going back! My only complaint is the limited parking. We were blocked in by someone double parked.
Ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and string beans. It was great! Broccoli and rice casserole was ok. It was my first time but I will definitely go back to try more.
Food is magnificent EVERY-TIME! You won’t be disappointed. Great customer service, they even play great music let’s not forget about the KOOLAIDE!!! The bomb!
One of the few places left where the prices were very reasonable and low, especially considering how great the food looked and how good it was. Even the lunch portion was a good amount of food
Babbbbbyyyyyyyyyy I ain't NEVA IN MY WHOLE LIFE ate a Salad with NO DRESSING!!!! NEVAAAA..Salad on POINT!!! If and when I do eat meat, it's shrimp or fish and this was made just to my Ordering. I ordered online and They Actually READ the special instructions(I wanted no bacon)...I came EARLY so it's Not A lot of People....It's Clean, and the CUSTOMER SERVICE...SUPERB...I might be late to this party...But I'm Here Now!!!! Somebody in the Back KNOWS how to put a salad together!!!! Like they KNOW me....LOL....Great Food...I'll Be Back...
OK. Now I was just in the neighborhood and was hungry and stumbled onto this fine jewel. If you haven’t been here you owe it to yourself. They cater too and literally EVERYTHING is REALLY GOOD. They let me taste...but I had the catfish with yams and dressing OMG Becky...off the chizain for realz for realz... they knew it was my first time. They gave me extra fish and a free drink. Now I didn’t even ask for a military discount🤣. Bill was $12. Needless to say, I left a $20 in the tip jar. These people know a little somn bout business!!!
Today I was disappointed my cornbread was not fully done it crumbled too pieces which sadden me just took the enjoyment away I know something missing from the cornbread eggs it don't crumble too pieces like that I barely touched it ..but the rest of my meal was great I even ordered 2 pieces it all felled apart...
I had the Pastor Salad, which is basically Fried & Grilled Chicken over a bed of lettuce, boiled eggs, real bacon, diced tomatoes, pickles, onions and a mound of cheese. When I tell you, it was enough salad to feed me for the next 2 days...thank you, I love salad. I saw some people that left bad reviews, they must've been out of their minds...I highly recommend this place. It's on Bishop off 287, but it's a good soul food eatery.
The food is amazing!! I had the fried pork chop, collard greens, and mac & cheese. It was so good. The next time, I had oxtails with the same sides, with an extra side of greens. I can't wait to go back and try the cabbage.
You remember going to your grandparents house? Picture it. You smell the food as soon as you open the car door. You walk in, kool-aid is already ready. Your granny is fussing at your mama, saying, "Let the girl eat if she wanna eat. That's what it's here for". Yeah, that's what Stormie Mondays feel like...it feels like home...it feels like positive childhood experiences...it feels like love. And the food is ridiculously good.
The grits fried fish is very good and there is a good variety. The daily special price is around $8. So that makes it easier for people to afford.
I am from Detroit. My cousin who lives in fort worth highly recommended this place for soul food. The cooks on Saturday October 12 are horrible. I spent $40 on whole wing dinner, Mac and cheese, beans and rice, ox tails & large side of greens. I never received Mac and cheese. Oxtail were boiled & not seasoned. Greens were honestly the worst we as a family ever had. Service was good. I never received the Mac and cheese. Texas family insisted there is a different cook on Sundays. I feel a little ill. I don't think I will ever ever eatanything from you guys again. Anna was very helpful. After, this review the owner reached to me. He remaid my order & shut me up. #1 he stands behind his products. My original oxtail order had no gravy. He added gravy to the oxtails. My experience was 100% better after meeting & being served by the owner. I highly recommend stormy Monday soul food.
Good food Good atmosphere Reminds me of the neighborhood restaurants that used to be back home Ordered Whole Catfish plate with double greens and peach cobbler. Very good eating Very affordable
This place is AWESOME! Decided to try it as we were in the mood for some down home cooking. I had the smothered pork chops with sweet potatoes and cabbage. Two huge pork chops and plenty of food for lunch and dinner. I also thought their prices were good too. My daughter had the fish and they give you 4 pieces on the plate and it taste like they just stepped out back and caught it. Kids had chicken & waffles and loved it. Four big chicken tenders and a huge waffle. The people there were very friendly and service was good. Well definitely be going again.
Yalllllll I went here yesterday with a group of friends. EVERYTHING was amazing, the food, the service, the atmosphere. Fried pork chops were cooked to perfection, battered perfectly and COOKED TO ORDER!! Green beans were just as delicious and my mashed potatoes smashed!! Only thing I'm disappointed about is they were sold out of greens which tells me they're just as delicious as every thing else! I definitely need those greens on my plate next time y'all! These aren't little plates of food either, you get exactly what you pay for here. Cooked to order with love and you can taste the love in your food. Thank y'all so much for an amazing dining experience! I'll definitely be coming back when I come visit family.
Great food. The Double Cheeseburger is absolutely huge, and very delicious. The vegetables on the burger were also very fresh, especially the tomatoes. The mashed potatoes are also packed with flavor. Not many drink options, but the lemonade and sweet tea are good. Great place to go if you have a huge appetite.
The best food I’ve ever had, ever. Stormie Mondays beats every single restaurant. My personal favorite entree is chicken spaghetti, but if they happen to be out (because it’s genuinely the best around), I love their fried tenders, catfish, and meatloaf! Their mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese are unmatched. I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve had…and their portions? Huge. If you want soul food, this is the place to get it.
Stormie’s Soul Food – Fort Worth, TX 🍗🔥💛 I stopped by Stormie’s Soul Food for the first time, and that food completely flipped my mood! Everything tasted like it came straight out of somebody’s family kitchen — full of flavor, warmth, and love. The oxtails were fallin’ off the bone 🍖, the mac & cheese was creamy like a dream 🧀, the yams were buttery and sweet 🍠💛, the cabbage and green beans were seasoned just right 👌🏽, and that cornbread? Soft and spongy like cake 🎂 but still had that perfect cornbread texture 🔥 — easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The chicken spaghetti was loaded with flavor too 🍝🐔. I did run into a small bone and some chicken skin 😂, but honestly, that just proved it’s real home-style cooking. They’re using fresh chicken, not that processed stuff, and it tastes like it. I just laughed, slid it to the side, and kept eating like I was at Grandma’s table 🍽️🏠. The drinks were cold and refreshing 🥤, and the whole vibe felt like home 💫. ⭐ 9/10 — Whatever star you thought they weren’t gonna get, they made it up in FLAVOR. Stormie’s didn’t just serve food — they served redemption. 🙌🏽💛
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Okay — my taste buds were dead set on soul food today, and after about 25 “no’s,” I finally found my yes at Stormie Monday’s Family Soul Food. Let me tell you, I definitely made the right choice. Not only is it not $30 like the other places I looked at, but they’ve got an all-day special that made choosing easy when I couldn’t decide. I went with the chicken spaghetti, but you can also get fried pork chops or wings — all for $8.65 with tax, including two sides and cornbread. It’s a ton of food, and every bite I take I think to myself, how did they get some much flavor in every bite. I told the lady, “That was the most disgustingly amazing meal I’ve ever had!” and she just grinned and said, “I know, right?” I did try the banana pudding too — it’s pretty simple, not a showstopper like the rest, but still a nice sweet bite at the end. Bottom line: if you’re craving real-deal soul food that won’t break the bank, you have to come here. Trust me, it’s that kind of place.
Burgers are absolutely on point. Seasons to perfection a must try with the potato wedges…. Chocolate cake is heavenly.. banana pudding smooth silky and lots of cookies. 10 ⭐️ you want be disappointed.
The 1st time I went was 9/13/25 I got a salad (grilled fish) it was real good, the grilled fish could have been seasoned a little more but i would order again. Went back the following Tuesday and ordered a cheeseburger and OMG it was so good. The portions are huge. I am going to try the entire menu little by little. The service was good and the tea was good too and I am not a sweet tea drinker.
This place hit the spot! Very friendly people and the food was delicious. We had oxtail, smothered pork chops, chicken fried steak, and wings. All of it along with the sides very flavorful. We walked out of some places because the staff or food did not look appealing, but this place did not disappoint. Highly recommended!
When you think of SOUL FOOD. YOUVE found it in Stormie Mondays. Although closed on Mondays, you may enjoy this AWARD WINNING SOUL FOOD every other day from Tuesday to Sunday. Don't hesitate to get there before the YAMS runs out!! The yams are flavored and buttered to grandmas perfection. You will not be disappointed at ALL. THE KOOL AID us so sweet. You're shoe will be stuck to the carpet!!! My overall impression was that the chefs are cooking this food FRESH DAILY. The passion is evident in every bite.
Would give it 100 stars if I could! I ordered online and decided to eat it there. Absolutely delicious - every bite of every item! GIGANTIC portions. I ate 1/4 of my plate and I couldn't breathe! Cafeteria/community style seating elevated the entire experience. Employees were kind, patrons welcoming, prices LOW, food incredible, atmosphere comfortable. Feels like you're cheating on Thanksgiving. Absolutely a new favorite!
The salad was great! I really enjoyed it. The restaurant was a cool place to sit and enjoy. The customer service wasn't the best. I like to be greeted when I go into places but the food made up for it. The lemonade was too sweet for me. Overall I'll be back to try other items. I went back and I was so glad I did. The food is just great for such a reasonable price

Heard good things about this place awhile back. The food was good. I went with something simple this time. Will go back real soon to explore more of their menu.
Food is always good BUT whoever is doing the fried foods PLEASE ease off the salt! My fries were not edible due to the abundance of salt. Otherwise it's soulful and good.
OXTAILS.!!! Amen...I thought my mama was in the back. Thems are Really good. Portion size is good. Yams are good.. greens tender needs more salt or a meat flavor. Dressing needs to be more savory than sweet. But the gravy is really good. Needs more desserts options. Peach cobbler or pecan pie.
Got wings with mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole. Seasoned good like you made it at home only complaint is the casserole had bacon I dont eat bacon so it was tedious trying to pick it out.
I don't know yall...I used to run to this place but I don't know what's going on with the sides. Ebtrees are on point but sides have been missing their thunder for a while. Last time I got cabbage, I didn't finish it. The greens and cornbread today were good. Not as seasoned with soul like I'd expect but they were good. The broccoli & rice is a no go. Not at all. It almost tasted like loaded mash potatoes (bacon included) with broccoli. Nope. I'll be back but my side choices are limited to very few.
Great soul food kitchen!!! Very busy location. Large amount of takeout orders. Good portions and cooked homestyle to the way you like it from your own stove.😜🤗😁
The first picture is the Big Chef Salad with Grilled and Fried Chicken. The second picture is the Smothered Pork Chops with Yams, Cabbage and cornbread Both were filling and very good! Lastly, the Banana Pudding, not homemade, no bananas, just layers of vanilla wafers with pudding. Not to our liking!
Soul food at its finest! While in Fort Worth for my granddaughter’s basketball tournament and my son’s birthday weekend, I had the chance to catch up with a friend. She suggested we try Stormie Monday, and I’m so glad she did! I ordered the 3 Chicken Wings .. yep I took a bite 🤷🏽♀️ with cabbage, sweet potatoes, and cornbread, and it was comfort food at its best. The wings were crispy and full of flavor, the cabbage was tender and well-seasoned, and the sweet potatoes had that perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The cornbread? Soft, warm, and just right. Beyond the food, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home. If you’re ever in Fort Worth and craving some good, home-cooked soul food, Stormie Monday is a must-visit! 📍 Must-Try: Chicken Wings with cabbage and sweet potatoes 🔥 Best Part: Feels like a home-cooked meal 👏 Great food, great service, great experience! Definitely a spot worth returning to!

I was a little disappointed when I got my order Friday... I love their ox tails and the food is usually good but the ox tails this time, had soooooooo much fat on them, more than what is shown on the picture below because I had already threw a lot of it away and it just made me nauseated!!!!
It haven't been the same since Big Leff ain't been in the kitchen...so inconsistent with the flavor...bring that man back...
Ordered smothered chops with black eye peas and greens..the peas were spoiled and the greens gave canned taste.the peas or greens were not good. The corn bread was hard, the only thing descent was the chop, everything else went in the trash.had I was still close I mist definitely would have taken it back...thats the reason for this review...do better than that
Today was my first time here. I ordered the stuffed baked potato. It was delicious. I will definitely order it again. However, I only gave it 3 stars because after I ordered sever people that ordered after me received their orders before I did. I didn’t think that was very good business. I’ll try it again because the food was so good and see how it goes next time.
Stopped by after church ⛪ this morning. Ordered smothered porkchops with cabbage and dressing. Came with a piece of cornbread. Then ordered chicken fried chicken with yams and Mac and cheese also came with cornbread. Everything was ok. I hadn't been here in over 5/6 years and I couldn't remember why. Then it hit me why...after tasting the food.
My wife and I discovered this place about 3 months ago and we've visited about 3 times and was satisfied each time but today I must say I was a little disappointed. And had I not been so tried after getting off from work I probably would've returned this plate and that's something I usually dont do. I ordered a lunch special that consisted of 2 whole wings, yams and greens. The wings tasted like they had absolutely no seasoning. But what bothered me the most was the greens. I usually get the green beans but I wanted to give the greens a try. I dont know what these little white things are they add to their greens but they're kind of crunchy and it feels like you're chewing on grit. And the greens are hot! Like peppery hot. If I wanted hot greens I'd eat a pepper with them. The yams and cornbread was the only thing I enjoyed. This doesn't mean I'll stay away from the restaurant but I'll stay away from the greens and wings.
I have been hearing about this place being so good for years, so I decided to stop by finally today. I ordered the smothered chop with cabbage and yams. First the parking is terrible. omg, they need a bigger parking lot nowhere to park. The chops were just ok. I could taste the flour that they made the gravy in, and was not a fan of that. The chops were bland, but the yams and cabbage made up for it. Omg, the yams were so good and soft, not overwhelmed with sugar and cinnamon they were PERFECT, and the cabbage was nicely seasoned and very good. My sides were the best part of this meal to me personally, I wouldn't eat in there. It gives old vibes, but I would Def take to go. Don't know if or when I will be back but I can finally say I tried Stormie Monday.
Too many flies buzzing around our table first off. Service was quick! Prices are quite reasonable but I gotta say my food was pretty bland. I got beef tips. Maybe the cook that day forgot a couple of extra dashes and sprinkles of something. The meat was tough. Even the gravy over the dressing was lacking. Mac n cheese wasn't too too bad but I had to add salt and pepper to bring more life. The yams were nothing like anything I've ever tasted before. It tasted like plain sweet potatoes with maybe some kind of marshmallow extract poured over them. No cinnamon, no nutmeg, no real marshmallows. No nothing. I asked my mom to taste, she said same thing. Tastes like marshmallows but no marshmallows to be seen. The cornbread was fine just not sweet enough for me. Mom didn't care for her porkchops and also said the gravy was bland. Sorry Stormie, we won't be back.
This is my favorite spot for some good ole soul food. I know the economy has changed a lot and may have impacted them as well. However, the dinners cost more and you get less. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying more if I still get the same amount of portions as I did before the price change. Before, I could eat off my plate 3 to 4 times... The other day, I had NO leftovers. Also, the food use to be made with love. The other day, I was a little disappointed at the greens and Mac and cheese. But bringing it home to doctor it up, made it taste better. Please don't take this review personal, just use it to enhance what's missing. Trust... I am a fan of your comfort food. I just would like to receive the same great portions as before the price increase. Example: Oxtails!!! This is our favorite meat from you and NO ONE cooks them better!!!
I ordered the pork chops. They were flavorful. The Mac and cheese was a good. Not the best but good enough. The yams were underwhelming.
We order a banana pudding realized their wasn't any banana in it. The young lady only showed great friendly service to the people she knew. The customer at the table was more friendly then the service. The green beans tasted fresh out of a can no flavor. So I guess it depends on the day you go any the time. I didn't feel the Love in the food. Don't just let it just be a job let it be an enjoyment and a whole lot of love.
Something has changed unfortunately at Stormie Mondays..the dressing is way different which was disappointing after we drove so far to get there. The Mac and Cheese was not the usual..the meats were decent enough but the purpose was the dressing and Mac and Cheese. Maybe the kitchen staff changed..not sure but maybe we will try again in a few months ...maybe the other recipe will be back.
My husband, Brother, and I started eating here for the first time about a month ago. It was really good for the first couple of time. My husband returned some overcooked fried catfish a couple weeks ago, they comped my meal but today- is aweful, plus my husband had burnt meatloaf last week. - Back to today! No one was in the restaurant when we first arrived- tell me why did he wait 15 to 20 min only to receive COLD Mestloaf, room temperature cabbage & mashed potatoes. I tried calling them a couple of times; I assume they can see my number on callers ID and refuse to take my call. Thats ok, We're taking our business elsewhere. Stormie Mondays- you guys ought to be ashamed!
I ordered 4 wings, Mac n cheese and greens. The wings were under cooked, I had to throw all of them away, the Mac n cheese was good and the greens were great. I would go back again but I will not get wings. The wait was long; I waited 30 mins for my food. The service was good as well
I normally don't post, but this made me mad. Stoney's Place (Stormy Monday). Quality of food and customer service has gone downhill. I ordered Smothered Porkchops (tough, unseasoned, and white gravy), dressing (got mashed potatoes with that same nasty gravy), and cabbage (too much salt and crispy). Next order 4 whole wings (no seasoning), broccoli rice (got macaroni and cheese), and black-eye peas (got green beans). I didn't check before I left because in all the years I have been going to them I never had a problem. Call back and they said I should have checked before I left and there was nothing they fould do. My response - No problem. I won't be back and I'll share my opinion with others. The power of the pen is still mighty.
The people here are very friendly, building is beautiful and the environment is nice and the photos on the wall is a great touch . The food however wasn’t very good. I got the cornbread- was good, yams - was good, but the Mac and cheese . U can taste the velveta, it was played on thick, nothing soup about that. The beef tips and rice was most disappointing. The sauce was light not the dark one you would expect. Wasn’t seasoned as expected, and the rice tasted like it came out of a rice cooker . Side note I made my own gravy and put on top to doctor it up
There is no reason Oxtails should THIS much fat still on it. I had very little and I mean very little meat on my oxtails. I almost drove that 30 minutes back to ask for a refund. The sides were just ok, nothing special. I ate them because I paid for it. My 1st and last time visiting. Hopefully they see this and improve. Best of luck to them.
I placed the order through door dash so naturally, with fees added to the cost of the actual order, it's a pretty high price for one person. With that being said, I place the order for two whole catfish and ended up with catfish fillets. I was pretty bummed out about it because you don't always get to order whole catfish but you're able to get fillets anywhere. Although the catfish was hot and had a good flavor, the sides which consisted of broccoli, cheese, casserole and macaroni and cheese, we're not good at all. I would definitely not recommend the sides to anyone. I'm not really sure what type of sauce is provided but it is extremely salty. Also something that I would not recommend after spending over $30 on this meal. I can definitely say it was a disappointment. I am very sad to have had this experience. However, as stated before, the fish has a good flavor and it was nice and hot. I would imagine that the whole catfish would reflect, but after spending the amount that I did and not receiving the proper order, I don't think I'm willing to take that chance again.

It’s no way in hell this place should still be open. I make gravy out the pack and mines fast way better. I was so hungry now I’m starving, because I couldn’t eat that trash. Mac n cheese was watery no taste and yams didn’t have a lick of flavor. The only thing was good was the diabetes kool aid. Never again I want my 34$ back.
My food was cold and did not taste good at all. My beef tips were tough, the mashed potatoes are instant and the broccoli and cheese casserole was so bad I could not eat it. My husband got the smothered pork chops and they were very bland. The only thing good were the yams. I would not recommend this place at all.
So my wife and friends went here for lunch. She's been hankering for soul food and when she got her food she was extremely disappointed. Food was warmed up food, corn bread was hard and old. Fish was dry and over cooked. The baked mac and cheese was Velveeta box macaroni with no seasoning not even salt and pepper, and definitely not even baked. The drink was hand mix juice you buy at walmart and with way to much sugar. Your about to get diabetes just drinking this. And the cake.. lord its like they are just cutting corners. They put a fresh bake cake out and when you order a piece they go to the fridge and bring you a cold leftover piece. Anyone who thinks this is soul food may want to actually travel and try real soul food before swearing by this place. The food was like someone just thought they could cook and thought hey let sell some plates. I'm sorry, but alot was expected and it failed on all counts.
Saturday .September 7th. This was my first horrible experience. My Grandmother whole catfish plate was awesom. I got the Pastors Salad.. the chicken was so tough it was hard to chew. Each time I’ve gotten it, it was so tender and juicy. I feel like it was rushed . I waited almost 30 min but I’m okay with that as long as my food is fresh… I was so disappointed.
I have been going here longer than I can remember and I'm so super disappointed how downhill this black owned business has become... We used to go here every week when I lived in Fort Worth and now that I've moved to Grand Prairie it's a little bit farther away from where we live but I try to go when I am in the area, and make special trips for celebrations. For the last couple of times the food has been horrible and not great, they have either closed early or have not been there based on the posted sign on the front door or the Google times listed for this business.. imagine driving from Grand Prairie after work to get food and they are closed when it says they're supposed to close at 7pm. We even called and was told they were still open. Only to knock on the door and the rude person that opened the door told us that they always close at 6:00 p.m. on Fridays... This may be true but this is what they should have told us on the phone when we called in to ask what time they close today.. we drove with our whole family in rush traffic only to be meet with a rude person. We asked why the times have not been updated on insta, Google or on the door and the lady simply replied maybe we should update them?!!? We explain that this happened before last Friday and we arrived at 5:50 and they were already closed. The business owner needs to do mystery shops on the people she has working there regarding their customer service because I love the food but we will not be back based on the horrible service we keep getting. If your store is closes and your hours changed why is it not updated anywhere. A review of Instagram and face book has that it's open until 7pm on Fridays!!! Horrible customer service!!!!!!
TERRIBLE!!!!! I will never order food from here and I'll do my best to spread the word on how bad this place is. I ordered food through doordash. I had placed an order from sonic and then another from stormie Monday. My sonic was accidentally dropped off at stormie when picking up my peach cobbler. When the driver went back to get my food they said it was their order and they ate it. The peach cobbler I received was cold and just peach flavored crust. They obviously can't stand their own horrible excuse for food because they stole mine. After the fact I found out that my girlfriend won't eat here because they're known for being unsanitary. If you're thinking of ordering from here just stop and go somewhere else, your bowels will thank you.
The worst soul food ever 😩... I don't recommend . Look like a 6 year old cooking at this place
Ordered the oxtails we’re old and unseasoned! That’s not the norm at stormie, it’s usually seasoned well. My cabbage and greens for sum reason were loaded with onions and the young lady at the pick up counter has a bad attitude which is the norm for a lot of our businesses but attitude and unseasoned ox tails with the gravy is unacceptable with a $28 tab!
Ordered through Uber Eats and still called the restaurant to make sure that they received our order and request. Lady answered the phone, stated that she saw that we want gravy on the side and tartar sauce in the bag. Got our order and she still did not do as requested. They never take time to make sure online orders are correct. This is not the first time for us but will be the last.
Didn't listen food wasn't how I asked for it put gravy when I didn't want it on my food. The steak looked like it was already chewed up soggy more crust than anything and way way way to much black pepper on everything. Only thing that wasnt bad is the salad every thing else it's a no for me never again. Black eye pea got green beans in it but they was good unlike everything else always checc your food before u leave n over pepper just not for me and I wonder why I don't eat from there or why I stopped ate. Salad was the only thing not peppery even the shrimp was full coated with pepper.
