Marechiaro Arma di Taggia Reviews
I had lunch in this restaurant with friends. I had a pizza which was very good. My friends ordered a focaccia which was very large and with delightful roquette. Tiramisu was very good as well. Overall you get good value for money. I recommend this place. The staff was very nice and helpful. Thanks !
We visited this restaurant in Italy after seeing some mouthwatering photos of their Neapolitan pizza online — and it did not disappoint! I had been wanting to try a proper Neapolitan pizza for a while, especially after being let down by some dry takeaway versions, and this one was exactly what I was hoping for: soft, chewy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of char from the oven. Absolutely delicious! My husband ordered a steak and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor — it really made his evening. The dessert was also a highlight. We couldn’t choose just one, so we ordered a few to share, and every single one was a hit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was charming and romantic, especially as it got darker and the lamps on each table lit up. It had a cozy yet elegant feel, making it perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff were incredibly welcoming and spoke English and French, which made things so much easier for us as we don’t speak Italian. They really made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Another plus: the location is great and easy to find — close to the center but not overly crowded, so it felt like a hidden gem. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic food and a warm, memorable dining experience in Italy!

Good food but also the service was fantastic, very helpful boss And of course a nice waitress, despite the language block, I felt very well served. Recommend
The best one ☺️❤️
Everything was DELICIOUS! I love pizza 🍕 and I have to say it's hard to find something this good. The staff was very kind and coordinated the dishes so we could all eat the hot dishes together. The place isn't very big, so it's definitely worth booking in advance during high season.
Great food and service for the price level
Beautiful food made with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavour. The pizzas are perfect - taste of the wood fire on the crust and plenty of delicious tomato sauce on a thin base. Pasta is wonderful - as is the bruscheta equivalent - cant remember the name but the tomato is seasoned to perfection. But omg even if you dont like aubergine/egg plant you have got to order the parmiggiano it's the perfect combination of ragu and parmesan and combines to gift you the best flavours. Lastly- bit importantly - the prices are reasonable and the house wine is very good value by the carafe and perfectly drinkable.
Super Food, Super Location, Super Service. Bravissimi, Top of the Top, Typical Italian Kitchen on high Level and the Pizza is marvellous....
Perfect
We went to the restaurant during the winter holidays (December 2024) and had a great time. We ordered an appetizer and two first courses. The pasta was very tasty, and since it's a seafood first course, there was a good amount of fish. The pasta in the photo has octopus ragù (delicious!) The prices and portions are in line with other restaurants. I don't remember the exact prices, but for a fish first course, water, and cover charge, I paid €20. The staff is friendly and attentive to the customer's needs. Highly recommended!
we enjoyed the food, the quality, location... BUT unfortunately our experience was somewhat spoiled by the unfriendly and badly educated service girl (waitress). Don't know her name but she has eyelashes extensions and lip filler, seems Slavic. Her attitude was terrible, rolling eyes at us, answering non politely, tone of the voice seems annoyed... don't know what's her problem but she was very unpleasant. A pity, because the place itself is nice.
Our experience at this restaurant was decidedly negative. Despite arriving promptly at 9:15 PM, as indicated on our reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes before being shown to our table, which, while not ideal, can happen. However, once seated, we had to push the waitress to order. After finally ordering, the wait was interminable: our dishes arrived only an hour and a half later, forcing us to start dinner at 10:45 PM. The appetizer we ordered was incorrect: they served us a trio of meat dishes instead of seafood, justifying it by saying that the seafood trio was sold out, but only after they brought it to the table. I refused to pay for it, since it wasn't what we had ordered. The first course, mezze maniche with octopus ragù, looked inviting, but the taste was disappointing, to say the least. Instead of a ragù, the pasta was soaked in oil. The flavor was nonexistent, and the "octopus" turned out to be a slimy piece of fat with a wrinkled skin. I chose not to eat it, and thankfully so: the people who did ended up sick, with symptoms of diarrhea. The service was equally disappointing: the staff seemed listless and inattentive. It must be said, however, that the owner apologized at the register for the inconvenience. However, the bill was disproportionate to the quality: €48 for a plate of pasta, a fried dish, and half a liter of wine. Unfortunately, I can only recommend this restaurant against it.
