I was in Arona for work, and after being virtually ignored at two other places (it was a Wednesday night and I hadn't made a reservation), I found myself at this little place, where I was greeted with a smile and kindness and served an amazing burger accompanied by an excellent craft beer! I recommend everyone try it at least once!

Very nice place, very informal and friendly. Just steps from the lake. The pasta with ragù is good, the sauce is made the old-fashioned way, bollire bollire, and the cheeseburger is the perfect balance between gourmet and homemade. A sandwich has to be homemade, nice and full, otherwise what kind of sandwich is it? Quality ingredients, like the cold cuts, are used. Great experience! We didn't have time to photograph the full plates... But I think in the kitchen, an empty plate is appreciated more than leftovers... After all, you go to eat, not to take photos!

My friend and I went to Obic yesterday for a late lunch. Micheal and his mother treated us so well. We both had 2 different chicken sandwiches and they were great. Fries were amazing (photo for evidence). Micheal even stayed late for us to provide us recommendations for things to do while visiting. Highly recommend for the hospitality alone 😊 @coleton.1

Warm and hospitable! Loved the hamburger. They had IPA (beer). The pasta was very tasty and the sauce (pasta) was one of the best I’ve tasted.

Great Meat, very fresh food young atmosphere and lovely personal and warm hospitality. Prefect for families that are done with piza and pasta, our 7, 12, 15 years old almost ate the plates. Parents were happy as much .Highly recommended

Literally the best burgers in my life. Came here with my family, and was advised with veal burgers for kids, and an amazing salad for wife. Meat is perfect, service is excellent. Would put 6 stars.

Sono stato qui a pranzo. Ho preso cheese burger con patatine fritte. Hamburger buono, si sente bene il sapore della carne che a mio avviso è di buona qualità. Per le patatine fritte non guasterebbe una scelta diversa e originale dalle classiche “stick” che a mio avviso possono risultare pesanti. Nel complesso ok per la velocità del servizio ed il personale. Lo consiglio.

Panini buoni, gustosi fatti con materie prime di qualità. Salame al cioccolato buonissimo. Locale piccolo ma grazioso, e personale gentilissimo.

Scelto seguendo le recensioni. Rivelatesi esatte. Consiglio. Preparati, disponibili, veloci e tutto ottimo. Buon assortimento di birre in bottiglia artigianali.

Abbiamo cenato in questo piccolo ristorante molto tranquillo dove ci hanno accolti con cordialità e trattati con gentilezza (non più scontato). Purtroppo hanno sbagliato l’ordine dei piatti ma non è stata la fine del mondo. Comunque cibo gradevole tra gnocco fritto con salumi, hamburger e angus affumicato. Piccola critica: con quasi 17€ di panino mi aspettavo almeno un contorno di patate fritte. Per il resto, consigliato.

Went there for lunch with my friend. We sat on the terrace. I had the veggie burger, she had something more or less on order which was not a problem for the very friendly owners. And we ordered fries to share. Food was of great quality and taste. Our dog got a fresh bowl of water, which was very nice. I also was a bit surprised about the service fee, since it was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Therefore only four stars. Of course my italian is lacking so I might have missed it. Nevertheless it is an outdated concept and should be abolished by law.

Great burgers, the fries are just average. Good beers, very kind service with average waiting times. Very clean place, easy to reach by feet.

Posto tranquillo in piazza, panini buoni ma niente di più, servizio lento da migliorare, 4 tavoli anche all'aperto. Prezzi buoni

Panino con hamburger buono. Peccato che i prezzi siano saliti molto negli ultimi anni. L'ultima volta ho speso: hamburger 15 euro, patatine 4,5 euro, acqua 2,5 euro, servizio 2,5 euro. Per sostituire (non aggiungere) un ingrediente con un altro hanno chiesto 1,80 euro.

Locale piccolo ma carino e ben arredato. La cameriera che ci ha servito gentile e molto disponibile. Panini ottimi e con prodotti freschi. Unica pecca solo un po’ alti i prezzi sopratutto per bibite e contorni, panini serviti senza alcun contorno, ma vanno presi a parte.

The rating is a balance of the ambiance (nice), the service (excellent—they even offered us cotechino and lentils on top of the bill), and the food (unfortunately, not particularly good). We ordered fries and nuggets—excellent, no complaints there—a burger, and a pasta with meat sauce. The latter were not memorable at all, in fact, inadequate. Considering the restaurant's commitment to high-quality meat and other ingredients, expectations were not met.

You pay coperto 2.5€ which you see only after you are already seated as it's not displayed on the menu on the wall outside. For this I will always give 1 star. No need to have a reply from the owner to explain me what coperto is. I already know. The prices are high enough and should already include coperto, service, nice fake smiles, whatever you want. The burgers are ok but nothing really special for their prices and almost forgot, but the burgers come without any sides, you need to buy that separately. This was the first in my life when I had to pay separately for the fries. Seriously, you can trust me or you can go check.

What an awful experience! 1st the shamefull coperto that wasn't specified on the menu outside cause if we would have seen it, we wouldn't have stayed. And this stupid habit first meant that you had a cover over your table and some bread and grissini, now you get 0, 2 lame pieces of paper and a fork and knife! Shame on you! On the bill it is written "service" but It is not our responsibility to pay for the service of your staff, ok? 2nd, we waited half an hour for the meal to be ready and there wasn't anyone in the restaurant 😡 Then the "famous" burger which was nothing special honestly, some tasteless piece of minced meat 🤢which doesn't even come with fries, NO, the fries must be ordered EXTRA! I have never seen this and I travelled all over the world! Shame again! 7.5€ a "double" portion of fries! Double by their standards. I will stop here. Just avoid, a rip off and the place is hidden in an empty and ugly plaza.

We had large hamburger. Meat had an unpleasant meaty taste. It did not taste like 100% lean beef and was very greasy. Bread was average. Cheese bland & frozen fries had the taste of being cooked in cheap oil. €50 for 2 ‘italy burgers, 2 fries and 2 cokes! It hurts the purse!
