Cochino Taco is hands-down my go-to drink spot! The frozen margaritas and palomas are consistently strong and perfectly crafted, the best in town. The chips and salsa tray is a standout too, full of seasoning and a great variety salsas. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the happy hour deals are hard to beat. I’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

My favorite local taco & marg spot in Arvada. The staff is amazing, the food is consistently delicious, and the trivia & tostada Tuesdays are a must. You want to be a regular here!

Absolutely great tacos! I enjoy going here for the fast, accurate service and delicious food. It can be a little challenging to find parking, kinda part for the course in Old Town Arvada, however it's worth it!

I have been coming here for over a year and I find that the food is consistently great. Service to me is important and I want to give a shout out to Addison, one of the bartenders who always does a great job making recommendations on drinks. He is always pleasant to talk to and provides excellent service. I was in there for Happy Hour one day and he mentioned to me that they do weekend brunch. We decided to check it out and it was actually awesome. Thanks again Addison!

Very laid back atmosphere with friendly staff and chill vibes. We stopped in for a bite, went with the green chili smothered tater tots and a few street tacos. The Negra Modelo on tap was cold and hit the spot.

I ordered through Uber Eats (pickup) and ran into a small issue that it hadn’t printed the order for them to actually make it. They quickly realized the issue and made the food quickly. Taste was great, and we were grateful they had a vegetarian option (Beyond Beef / veg chile)! It was our first time having them, and I’d absolutely order again or come in to eat here in the future.

This place was surprisingly GREAT! They start you off with fresh chips and 3 kinds of salsa which were all excellent. The chips had this red dust that was spicy and a little sweet…delicious. My burrito was awesome! The meat was very tender! The waiter was warm and quick! They have both inside and outside seating

5 star taco restaurant! First time coming here, and the service was so welcoming. I ordered a bunch of different tacos, and they were all so good. Price and portions were on point and well worth it. I thank Big John (our server) for such an amazing time. He served us with a great attitude and was always there if we needed anything. If you like spicy salsa, I highly recommend their Spiciest Salsa because it has a real kick to it. I needed two portions of it. If you are visiting Old Town Arvada, I would definitely make a stop here. Update, still amazing thanks to Big John and Austin!! Kings of service

Cochino is our top local Mexican food spot, with excellent margaritas (our favorite is the Coin Margarita) and street tacos. All the meat versions are dynamite, but the vegetarian Rajas Taco takes the cake, with a griddled cheese skirt and chipotle crema. Good chips and salsa. Great service as well!

This place is amazing. Their queso burger is delicious and flavorful. The Doritos nachos are good (but a bit small). Happy hour Modelo is always a good idea. All the tacos are flavorful. We enjoy the atmosphere as well with nice outdoor patio.

We finally tried Cochinos and made it for happy hour. Friendly staff and really fast service. Great prices on food and drinks. We really loved the shaggy style Tacos and tots. The nachos and trio of salsas were good as well. We got there around 5 on a weekday which wasn't busy at all with plenty of parking in the lot. Street parking is also available.

This might be one of the best happy hours in Denver! Happy hour is everyday from 11:00 AM- 6:00 PM. This includes $5 house margaritas and deals on food. We had the queso & green chili tots which were both excellent. Their patio is also dog friendly which is so nice for people traveling with dogs or people that just like to bring their dog everywhere! We will be back very soon.

I give 🐷COCHINO TACOS🐷 five stars: ⭐️ SERVICE is great, fast, and friendly. ⭐️ LOCATION is accessible; right by Olde Town Arvada. ⭐️ AMBIANCE… this place is hip, and fits plenty of families. ⭐️ FOOD is delicious! We ordered Elote, Green Chile Bowl, Queso Dip, Chicken Soft Tacos, Ceviche, and a Quesadilla for our son. ⭐️ PRICES are great - we arrived during happy hour.

Happy hour is 11-6. $5 margs were great. Their happy hour consists of drinks, tacos, and appetizers. Their tacos were pretty good. I recommend the El Pastor and the SQUASH RATATOUILLE. The carne asada taco was delicious as well. Service was fast and drink were amazing. Love the atmosphere. Parking is a pain but you can park on the street.

They have the best happy hour deals and they’re good for like most of the day. The tacos are good and the queso is to die for. One star off for really inconsistent service, but overall a regular in our rotation

Happy hour prices are excellent, two tacos for $6.50! I ordered the chicken tacos without the serrano salsa and it needed salsa, but there was not a mild option. Presentation was on a taco stand, which held everything in place. Great service, noisy, but that's expected! I would give it another try.

Service was excellent, atmosphere was cool. Food was meh. Ordered the green chili cheese tots for a starter, these were basic but very tasty. I ordered the tinga taco and pescado taco. The chicken tinga was dry, not flavorful at all and even the toppings were bland. The pescado taco was very good. The fish was cooked perfectly and topped with a pretty spicy and flavorful sauce. My friend ordered 3 tacos and liked all except the brisket, she had one bite.

I was crazy Pozole, it was close and I thought for $11 it would be worth it. I order food to go, chile cheese tots were amazing but the Pozole was very disappointing - I didn’t get any meat - it was all fat. They put all the toppings in the Pozole instead of on the side. Wasn’t what I anticipated.

Solid destination for many taco options and fully stocked bar with some high end tequilas. I recommend the “shaggy” style tacos which wrap a hard shell with a soft tortilla with bean and cheese between them. Dogs allowed on outside patio.

Good service and ok food. Very good drinks for happy hour. My favorite was the dorito nachos , the queso was amazing. My husband ordered the tostadas and he said they were not that great. tacos were ok but just simple nothing special about them but still good. The alcoholic drinks were amazing and very strong ! Would definitely go again just to sit by the bar have some drink and enjoy some more nachos.

we also got chips and queso, which was pretty good so the nachos sounded good. but they were very liquidy and the doritos got soggy quickly and it turned into a kind of soup. my bf had 2 margaritas and 2 al pastor tacos and he says it wasn’t very good. i don’t think the price is worth the quality

Great atmosphere with good service. Our waiter was welcoming and provided help with the menu selections. Only one mistake made on a special order—other than that was accurate, attentive, and fast. The kitchen did a good job. We tried a whole variety of items and were met with different levels of success. The carne asada tacos were fantastic. The barbacoa was quite good. The chips and salsa delicious. The green chili was not the best. I would give it a pass. The margaritas were average. The shaggy carnita tacos were enjoyable. So would we return? Probably not. Portion sizes were on the small side. Some menu items were excellent while others were average. The pork belly tacos were a fail. To be clear this is Mexican influenced food—not authentic Mexican. It seemed like the patio atmosphere might have a good vibe on a busier night and while for us this was too much to spend on a slightly better than average meal, your experience or expectations may be different. Cochino Taco is not to be avoided—it just won’t be on our list of favorites.

3 stars due to the entire food we ate being bland. We were searching for salt, but they had none available that we could find. If we had salt, lime and tapatio, we would've had more flavor. Perhaps the crowd this place attracts is used to that low key palate, but we are not. We came this place once, and won't return.

EDIT: (I'm pretty sure the food got me sick. For 2 straight days now.. beware.) Edit #2: (I definitely got sick from this food and I'm still having issues 3 weeks later.)I ordered the big macho (something like that) burrito veg style through Uber eats. It got here pretty fast. I would like to give some constructive criticism. The vegetarian green chili: while I'm super happy you have such a thing, it's not very flavorful. I've had many many vegetarian green chili in my life that were very tasty.. this recipe could greatly improve. I was dissapointed there was no guacamole in it because it really would have made all the difference but I understand i should have ordered a side. However, there should have been a lot more beans and rice, I'm not even sure there was any that's how little it was. The sofritas are mid at best, I've had much much better at Chipotle. It could have used some cheese. Just really not very good at all.
