Justice Snow's Aspen Reviews
Classic venue, in the heart of Aspen village. Wines by the glass (though not too extensive a selection) are nice selection. Food is well prepared with fresh ingredients. Friendly service. Would recommend,
Excellent cocktails ! Warm atmosphere!
Amazing cocktails and upscale food in a classic setting!
Fantastic brisket hash and poached eggs! Great service all around
Great burger, great manhattan, great service and atmosphere. Keep it up!
Great drink selection with a nice atmosphere
They have great cocktails there!
Awesome cocktails, great staff!
best high end craft cocktails in aspen.. by far
Great Hamburgers !!! Dates and bacon best combo ever
Great food, one of the best lamb burger
Great dinner, the owner is a lovely kind lady we had the ny strip, and a chopped salad a bottle of wine. Also the staff was extra nice and the peach flat bread with ice cream was just yuuuum
Wonderful craft cocktails. I asked for something interesting and got exactly what i asked for. Very friendly & accommodateing staff. I would recommend this bar & restaurant to anyone who visits Aspen.
We sat at the bar so we got to visit with the staff. Top notch people. Great food, excellent desert and coffee. I would highly recommend.
Spent New Years day here. Bartender was great. Drinks are solid and service was really good. Prime location. Didn't have dinner
Great food. Great service. Our party of 20 liked all of the appetizers or entrees...and we had 'em all.
Excellent food, try their small plates to be wowed! I had the scallops with butternut squash puree and I am a fan :)
Place was packed when we got there, we left our number and the hostess texted us. We were starving, but food was delicious. Big portions!
Nice location. Sit out side to enjoy the view of fountain and mountain. Tasty food, reasonable price!
Excellent food and service. Acorn squash and flatbread are my favorite things.
Really enjoyed my lunch. Reasonably priced by Aspen standards.
Probably the best cocktail place in Aspen. In a very nice location. Loads and loads of custom cocktails on their menu. Knowledgeable bartenders always willing to recommend new drinks and provide insight. Food is OK, but nothing special, but that's not really the draw of this place. Great and quirky atmosphere with a nice music selection. Has a nice 1940s decor. Alas, service on the floor, at the tables, was lackluster every time we went there.
Best chicken wings on Planet Earth, by far. The absolute bomb. Those wings were the best I've ever had in my life. The bread that came with the bone marrow was toasted PERFECTLY . The cheese platter was incredible. I never would have thought about putting honey over cheese. I would have preferred salted pistachios but I wasn't disappointed in the least. The cocktails were absolutely amazing and watching the bartender make them was an absolute treat. That has inspired me to channel my inner bartender (I did it through college but not like these guys). And saving the best for last, really, the bartenders themselves. They are down to earth dudes who were a pleasure to watch work their craft and talk with. I fully plan on returning to Aspen and I will hit this place once again. This is a MUST stop if you're in Aspen.
Cool atmosphere! The service was wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious! Its a good place for anyone but I feel like the artsy type people would enjoy this most!! They told us they had live music that night but we didn't make it out! I'm sure it's a great experience as well!
This place is amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, wonderful drinks, and beautiful decor - it's set in an old bank, complete with bank vault! The waitress moved seats to give us a table and the staff love to chat and get to know you. Can't recommend enough.
Loved it! Fun place, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and interesting bar eats that are on the sophisticated side. Great bourbon offerings, too! An exceptional bar and a good price point for dining in Aspen.
This review pertains only to the cocktails. We have been here a few times for cocktails and always loved it. We have had a couple from the menu, and a few others that the bartender made for us. Those off menu cocktails were definitely the best ones.
Great ambiance! A blow back to the Roaring 20's. The well crafted cocktail shops are worth a look as is the food. Best locals Aprés Ski in Aspen!
Brunch is well presented and prepared. Great menu variety, picturesque Aspen, with great history. Make your own Bloody Mary bar. Go here.
Angel is an extremely knowledgeable and talented mixologist. They have more bitters than any other bar I've seen, and know what customer service truly means. Excellent experience. My wife and I will definitely be back!
The building and the atmosphere are great. The burger was pretty good, the burrito was good and the flatbread was excellent. You can’t beat $5 16oz PBRs.
Pretty good. Enjoyed it a lot. Great atmosphere in old opera house.
I really enjoyed the food and the staff was very friendly
Good place. People say that it's popular with the local. Nice decor.
Good burger place with an interesting other menu.
Cool bar in downtown Aspen. Yes, like everywhere else in Aspen, the prices are high; but that is Aspen's artificial economy. Don't blame the bar! Laid back atmosphere.
We went for brunch and had $5 mimosas and juevos rancheros. Everything was delicious.
Great bartenders. Needs more space around the bar for people that aren't there to eat dinner.
Great spot for locals and tourists alike. Delicious and interesting food, and they have a $10 house burger that is a fantastic tasty deal. Unbelievable cocktail list, make sure you ask for the full menu. I always wish their beer list was a bit more extensive and reasonably priced, but you can't have it all. Servers have always been very nice and prompt. Often has fun live music too! Sunday brunch is also a winner.
Old historic bar/ restaurant. Excellent service and food. The acoustic in the building suck. It wasn't even that busy and no music or anything but we couldn't have a conversation with the person next to us. And I'm young. We ate silenced throughout the whole meal instead of trying to yell in my neighbors ear. They should put some noise reducing panels up and a few plants or something. It's not difficult or expensive really. Everything else was great
Stopped in for cocktails after dinner. They weren't great. Live music was good. Nice space. Might consider another try for different drinks.
Had a fratata which was good. They had a make your own Bloody Mary bar. I was disappointed with this because they didn't have horse radish, lemon juice, or Worcester sauce, but they had a lot of other items that I don't use.
Great atmosphere. Small menu for food. Decent drink menu. Staff was necessarily unfriendly but not overly friendly either.
Snows used to be a more reasonable restaurant. Menu has changed, and is unnecessarily fancy - ie., asparagus puree instead of greed asparagus. Portion sizes have shrunk also. Staff is friendly and sympathetic.
I had a very poor experience here and I was not feeling well at the time, so take this review with a grain of salt. I had made reservations for dinner in advanced and when we got there, we were seated in the bar area rather than the dining room. It was very loud and not the romantic dinner I was hoping for. We were told that they were out of most of the interesting things on the menu. What we did order was less than exceptional. Would not go back.
My husband, newly relocating to Aspen for work, loved Justice Snow's when he first arrived in November. He wanted to take our son and me out and so we went here for lunch. Unfortunately it was during the week between Christmas and New Years, and they were sorely understaffed and/or disorganized. We were seated, given drinks and basically forgotten about. For a $60 lunch (the PEI mussels were fairly good, but the lunch portion consisted of a mere dozen) for three of us, being surrounded by tourists in ski gear (naturally), disheveled servers (only 2 plus the manager and one of the cooks serving food...weird), we felt like we were treated as second-class citizens. Needless to say, their gratuity suffered greatly.
It wasn't bad, but for the quality of food, the prices were too high... plus automatically including 20% gratuity even if they don't deserve it on a party of 6? Nope....
Food was great. Service was potentially the worst I've ever had. Messed up the order twice and couldn't seem to get the check split right despite our very clear request.
2 out of 3 drinks were great. One we didn't care for and sent back after just tasting it. On check out I noticed we were charged for the drink. When I asked the Blonde bar tender she stated that the drink was made and just because we didn't like it doesn't mean it would be free. I figured I would take that into consideration when leaving the tip, but they included a 20% tip anyway! It was just me and my wife with no mention that the tip was included. No wonder she didn't comp the drink ;) I wonder how many customers are tipping twice at this place?
Called for a reservation, when we showed up they told us the burgers, what they're known for, were only available at the bar, and refused to give us one when we sat next to the bar. more than half the restaurant was empty and winding down because it was 9:30. They were so rude about it we just left and refused to give them our business.
