Caffé Del Mulino Asti Reviews
The pizza is homemade and very filling. We often go there for an afternoon snack or a quick dinner.
If this bakery were robbed, the thieves would completely ignore the cash register and run off with the focaccias, they're so delicious! I firmly believe they're the best focaccias I've ever eaten in my entire life.
The smell of bread envelops you, your eyes light up when you see everyone here sweet, the place is beautiful and welcoming and the prices are excellent.
The breakfast is fantastic. The coffee is excellent, and there's a truly wide selection of pastries. The place is clean and well-kept, and the staff are kind and fast.
The hard bread is fantastic, as are the focaccia and pizzas. I haven't tried the pastries, but everything looks excellent. A little crowded on Saturdays, but that's normal. It's great to be able to find fresh bread on Sundays, too.
Excellent focaccia di recco: the most thin and tasty. Great cappuccino. I wish I had the same in my place))) hank you guys for adorable food)
Mario, always the best!
We decided to eat something out in Asti...after delicious slices of pizza, a sweet treat for E. and I. #ilmulinodimario vecchio Paterna on Corso Savona... Lots of choice, friendly service, and the option to dine inside... Delicious food without the excessive cost. We'll definitely be back.
Large bakery with bar service. The place is modern and very clean; they've recreated the atmosphere of a mill. Very friendly staff, average prices, and very good desserts. The focaccia and whole wheat rolls are also good. A strong point is the relatively long opening hours, especially in the morning. It's also convenient for those coming from or heading to the Cuneo and southern Asti areas. Unfortunately, since the place is located on a busy artery, parking is a problem. A place of this caliber was sorely needed in Asti.
We were missing a place like this in Asti, delicious cappuccino, fresh and exquisite pastries and then a vast selection of pizzas, focaccias, savory snacks and so much more... you really are spoiled for choice, I only spent an hour choosing what to taste, very polite and very helpful staff always smiling 😍
Overall, a negative, inadequate experience. The atmosphere was noisy and chaotic; it felt like a market because of the confusion. The cappuccino and ginseng were average, nothing to complain about, but as you can see from the photo, the cups and saucers were stained (there's no excuse for giving out dirty plates). The Sacher torte was dry, as if it had caught too much air before being served. They market themselves as a bar and ice cream parlor, but when you ask for a single-serving semifreddo, they have no way of serving it in a timely manner. You should review the service; it's currently poor.
