Dai Toscanacci Asti Reviews
We've been here several times and the service is always excellent! The food, drinks, and desserts are delicious, and the pizza is paper-thin, perfect for those watching their weight! Our waitress was incredibly kind and professional! A 100% tip is well deserved! If you don't want to waste time waiting for a table, I recommend making a reservation! A huge thank you to the kitchen and staff! We'll definitely be back!
A great place down the street. Simple and effective. Large, very thin pizzas, not too thick, excellent. The pasta is perfect too. Reasonable prices, averaging €9 per pizza.
A lovely familial atmosphere with excellent choices of pizza as well as efficient and courteous service
Fabulous pizza and nice salads in a warm, inviting atmosphere with excellent customer service. Recommended!
Very nice place and excellent food local and yummy
Simply the best food and behavior
Very good pizzas at affordable prices. We went here with a group of 24 (!) and the service was great. The pizzas are very light. The tomato sauce has a great taste to it. Prices are very good, for pizza they range from 5 till 8 euro. Currently some construction is going on above but this is temporary.
Da quando ero bambino frequento questa pizzeria e la pizza qui è sempre stata la mia preferita: sottile, croccante, condita con prodotti di qualità.. Il servizio è schietto e rapido, il personale so…
The restaurant welcomed us and allowed us to dine when we arrived around 10:00 PM; the place was full, and we had to wait no more than 15 minutes. The service was impeccable, both in minimizing the wait for table clearing and in taking the order and serving it to the table. At first glance, the pizza seemed undercooked because it was almost completely white underneath and the crust seemed soggy, but we were soon disappointed because, upon tasting, it was delicious, both in terms of cooking and flavor. The place is charming and welcoming.
The place is small with tables close together, they work two evening shifts, an old-school pizzeria, crispy thin pizzas without a crust cooked in a wood-fired oven, good and light, after one you'll want to eat another, fried calamari portions are not large and not the best in taste, desserts are store-bought profiteroles, panna cotta (hard) with store-bought sauces, chocolate cake with a soft center not exceptional. The white wine in a carafe is good, the red beer is good, and the prices are also good. I recommend it for eating pizza.
A beautifully decorated pizzeria with rustic décor. The atmosphere makes guests feel at ease. The staff is friendly, qualified, and attentive to customer requests. The only flaw: the pizza is excessively thin... I'm usually used to eating Neapolitan pizza, with a nice thick crust. My tablemates and I were all slightly disappointed with our first dinner here, but the quality of the ingredients is good. Regarding the quality-price ratio, everyone found it quite high, since, for example, a seafood pizza can cost up to €17. That said, I recommend it for a quiet dinner with friends.
an unfortunate fall from grace. once at the top, over the past few years all of the things that made it special are now gone. very middle of the road (pizza) now. even the homemade olio piccante has been replaced with a n industrial product. last night may have been the last time i choose to go there, and that means a lot coming from me because for many years it was outstanding.
Good but not great. Maybe we just hit it on an off day. Pizza just ok, not up to usual Italian standards.
Poor food and a long wait I visited this restaurant with high expectations, but I was deeply disappointed. The food was poor quality, and the ingredients were obviously not the freshest. The most frustrating thing, however, was the wait, which was truly exorbitant. We waited forever to be served, and when the food arrived, it wasn't worth the wait at all. An absolutely forgettable experience.
Unfortunately, I have to write an extremely negative review after our visit. The experience was nothing short of disastrous, starting with the service, which was terrible. The waitresses were rude and unhelpful. The waits were incredibly long. For four simple pizzas, we waited over two hours. And the food, once it arrived, was of poor quality, and the pizzas were served with almost no toppings. But the most serious and unacceptable thing I find unacceptable is the incident we witnessed. Another customer found his pasta burned and politely pointed out that the dish wasn't good. Instead of apologizing, the chef reacted aggressively, berating him in front of all the customers. Such behavior is absolutely shameful and intolerable. We will never return and I strongly advise against this restaurant. I recommend carefully reading the reviews before wasting your money here!
Pizza is a matter of personal taste, in the sense that if I knew it was that thin, I wouldn't have gone, so I'm not judging. But sitting at a table next to the pizza platter is definitely not an option! I left smelling of sauce, cheese, etc. Maybe they're too fast, and rolling out pizzas and texting isn't exactly hygienic.
