Vicolo Battisti Asti Reviews
Great restaurant with delicious pizza; but they also offer a good choice of dishes (pasta, meat, etc..) The staff was very friendly, we showed up without a reservation but they proposed a table still (we had 1h30 to enjoy our meal before the next reservation). I would highly recommend this place and would suggest making a reservation for diner to avoid any disappointment.
Great place with top food. One of the best places in Asti to have a great pizza and very decent steaks
I recently visited this wonderful restaurant in Asti and was thoroughly impressed. The pizza was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the variety of great vegetarian options available, which were just as delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Above all, the service stood out; the staff were prompt, attentive, and courteous, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty pizza and excellent service in Asti!
We had a wonderful evening! Thank you guys for everything! We loved the food, the wine, the sorbet and digestive! Stunning service! And we were so lucky that you were so patient with our two barking dogs. They will enjoy the bones as a treat! Thank you so much to all of you, we had a fantastic evening! You don’t know it, but my husband had a heart attack a year ago on the 13th of July and God decided that he must live, so here we are today! We would always come back and would always recommend your place! Stay safe and looking forward to seeing you soon, K, E and R xxx
We had a lovely dinner at Vicolo Battisti. The tables are placed in a quite street of ons of the main squares of Asti. The staff is very friendly and speak very well english. The dishes are a delight for the eye as well as in taste. They have a nice list of wine to accompany their wide choose of both pizza’s as well as a good choice of dry aged cuts, ribs or t-bones. We really enjoyed our evening. Thank you for your hospitality and service.
I've I'm eaten there yesterday evening with my fiancee. The "classica" tartare, even though simple, was mouthwatering and it melted on the tongue as soon as you tasted it. I know some of the local wines already but for 5€ more than the wine I chose the waitress suggested another bottle Wich was very welcomed. She knew her wines and gave a great suggestion. I've had the fillet as a main and man, that meat was perfectly cooked, I asked for it to be the rarest possible and they brought it to me almost uncooked, which was amazing, also the fillet came on a hot stone so if you wanted it more cooked you could leave it there for a second more. Great place, loved eating in the middle of the street surrounded by all the historical buildings. Overall 9.7/10
Impeccable service, with helpful suggestions, additional services, and the art of making us smile all along an all around great meal. Got complimented on my gaming t-shirt, got offered a bottle of very good wine... and the food, both the meat and the pizza, were amongst the best we ever ate. We didn't test every address in Asti, but I'm ready to bet this is the best !
An excellent restaurant. Their ravioli in the second photo were astonishingly amazing. You could accidentally bite your fork; that’s how good they were. The pizza had a bit too much tomato sauce on it. Perhaps it was our mistake for ordering a pizza with burrata instead of a more traditional one. The dough was super delicious. The interior was great with old floor tiles and old ceiling beams. Service was excellent.
Fabulous restaurant. Please don't ever change so we can come back and experience the excellence of Vicolo Battisti all over again. From the enchanting street location, to the people working in this restaurant, to the impreccable food - we loved everything about our dinner here. We wish we lived closer to Torino so we could come all the time.
7/10 The pizza was pretty typical for Italy. The meat was alright, and the ribs were tasty. They didn't let us sit inside, even though it was +40°C outside. The service was good; the waiter even came over once and poured us some wine — which was really delicious. So delicious, that we had to find the winery to buy more. Desserts were disappointing
