Dr Astudillo is very thorough, bilingual, and helpful. She does not lose time. She was the one who really pushed her team to get me a quick MRI in St Mary’s Hospital, after checking a lot of other hospitals who offer MRI's but not the specific service I required. So it’s not only about her but also the team that supports her in benefit of the patient. Dr Astudillo also has this talent to discover when the patient is NOT telling the whole story. She will take all the time needed to understand what is really behind a patients concern and discuss it and will refer you accordingly. If you get your appointment with her, do not shy in sharing your honest concerns, she will always find the best way to handle them. She will always answer any message in the patient portal (please take advantage of this feature). You may trust her and her expertise 100% Highly recommended!
Dr. Astudillo is the best doctor I've had in years. She's very compassionate, caring and listen to your health concern. Everyone at her office is very nice, helpful and professional. Dr Brandie is a good doctor but its hard to get the office staff on the phone. They didn't call in a script for me and I had to keep calling them to make sure the script was called in.

While you're there, all is great. But trying to get refills of Rx.. that's another story. Faxed from pharmacy, no answer at all for days. No call back. Very frustrating.
I have no complaints about Dr brandie. In my view she is a competent Dr. Her office staff is the problem!!! They don't answer the phone or put you on hold and then hang up on you. Wall Mart tried to call them for a rx renewal for me and couldn't get through. I called my insurance to complain and they tried to get through. I had to drive there to get them to call in an RX renewal. They call you for a physical appointment but you can't call them back because they don't answer. I came to the conclusion that I was white, elderly, and spoke English. Hence the poor service. I could be wrong. Think about it.

If you’re looking for an office staff that doesn’t do their jobs effectively, you found it!!!! I saw Dr. Brandie (no problems whatsoever with her btw) on 10/22 regarding a severe knee injury. She stated she would fax over the referral to my orthopedic. My appt with ortho was scheduled for today, 11/4; I received a text from ortho on 11/3 that they hadn’t received the referral still…so I call Dr. Brandie’s office and of course, no answer so I left a VM. No call back either. I called again today numerous times and no answer, left VMs, blah blah. Finally I get through today and they claimed the referral was faxed on 10/22; in my head I’m thinking “thank goodness I can see my ortho and figure out what’s going on with my knee”. I get to ortho’s office and they say “we don’t have a referral”…call Dr. Brandie’s office AGAIN, and the lady on the phone can’t find record of the alleged fax and states she’ll send it right away. 15 min later and still no fax…at this point after almost an hour of dealing with them, the ortho office was closing so I have to now push my appt out another week. Incompetent staff in the office = the reason the Google reviews can’t even reach a 4-star rating.
If you value your health, do not see Dr Mounier or Uhealth for anything! Simply put, as my PCP, I went to her with an important health concern. She told me to "go home & take ibuprofen". She also proceeded to tell me about the worst possible scenarios without offering real medical advice or help. I left feeling very upset. After researching online, I called the office to request medical tests. The office took days to get back to me and when they did, said they'd have to ask the dr & still no tests were ordered. When I called to request them again, they said she was away for 5 days. I asked that another doctor review my concerns and they said NO. I didn't hear back from her when she returned to the office. This is the worst experience I've had with a doctor, I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this office!
I’m writing this review in hopes that no one else has to experience what I had to go through with this doctor. I was referred by my dermatologist (Siperstein Dermatology) to Brandie because of concerns we had about Lupus, and about two lumps, located on my neck and my chest. My dermatologist specifically stated that Brandie could do the ultrasounds and bloodwork required – a comprehensive panel plus ANA test. I even double checked with the dermatologist asking if she could write the scripts for these procedures instead, and she said it’d be appropriate for the PCP – Brandie – to do it and then she will look at the results afterwards. The dermatologist referred me to Brandie because she said a few of her nurses have had good experiences, so I took her word on it. My experience with Brandie was so bad that I left almost in tears. I explained to Brandie that I didn’t currently have a PCP but wanted to develop a new patient relationship with her. I also explained the three concerns my dermatologist said to follow up on: the lupus bloodwork, and ultrasounds for the two lumps. First, Brandie said that she could not order an ANA test on my bloodwork. This was very bizarre and when I asked why, she said the dermatologist should have done it, and that the dermatologist was wrong in directing me otherwise. Ok, I can try to understand that but… Then, I explained about the lumps. Brandie stated the dermatologist should have done the ultrasounds. At this point I’m wondering why, because I’ve never encountered a PCP who couldn’t order these procedures. But then, Brandie asked what I wanted her to look at. I replied, all three concerns – the lupus, and two lumps- and her exact words were: ‘I can only check one thing’. No explanation or anything. I expressed my confusion because I was specifically directed to her from my dermatologist on all three issues, and at this point, Brandie went on to say ‘I don’t even know your dermatologist, never heard of them or their nurses. I don’t know why she sent you here’. Just complete disregard for my concerns, making it absolutely clear she would perform the bare minimum service - if that even. I felt extremely uncomfortable by her confrontational nature at this point – not only did she make it clear she could care less what my concerns were, but she was extremely eager to burn whatever bridge there was between her and the dermatologist office, which was very concerning to me. At this point, I told her I’d call the dermatologist office to ask them for guidance. I asked if it was a waste of my time to have driven 1 hour to see her, at which point she replied yes, it was. I called my dermatologist, and they verified exactly what I was trying to tell Brandie. Brandie should have, without any difficulty at all, scheduled the ANA blood test and two ultrasounds. They said they never encountered a PCP giving so much push back. Someone like Brandie should not be a doctor. It’s clear she does not care about her patients or want to put an extra ounce of effort to try to diagnose serious concerns. I could understand if it was a specialty such as, a neurologist being asked for a cardiac concern. However, she is a PCP and all PCP doctors can order blood tests and ultrasounds especially if the patient has a concern. But beyond that, her completely confrontational nature and effort into NOT doing anything was extremely disturbing. Please, be your own patient advocate – DO NOT see this doctor.
I am shocked by these reviews! She doesn't listen and rushes you in the office, she is rude and has no bedside manner! The office is the worse! They are always booked and will NEVER squeeze you in they will send you to the ER because they can't see you for weeks or months on end! They got mad with us because she kept sending me to ER because they wouldn't treat me anymore because they would send me to them all the time and we yelled and got loud with staff because they were rude to us and talking back, later we got a call from the so called office manager saying the doctor was standing next to the nurse we spoke to and they would no longer treat me because I was yelling at the staff! I told office manager maybe the doctor should have listened to how the nurse was talking to me! It's funny how it's a one way street with that place! Do yourself a favor DO NOT see her or go to this office! And if you do be prepared to be calling insurance company all the time to help you with them! Waste of time and money and they will make u upset! I have NEVER in my life been treated this way!

Read her previous reviews (which is what we should have done prior to seeing her!) Horrible doctor.. rude, condescending, disrespectful, treated without dignity. Do NOT recommend this family doctor. She would not listen to patient’s health concerns and behaved as though she did not have time to do her job!! We WILL be complaining to the University of Miami, to her superiors, social media, and spreading the word!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SO-CALLED DOCTOR!!
