What a great find! This unique restaurant recently opened up and was so needed in our area. The only other Mediterranean restaurant closed down a few years ago. We got the chicken shawarma sandwich and the pesto dip with freshly made pita chips. The shawarma sandwich was big enough to share. They have pizzas, kebabs, Gyros, bowls, salads and much more. You must try this place. The flavor was delicious and you can taste it's freshly made.

One of the best fresh pizza I ever had. Slice weights heavy cs it’s filled with a ton of cheese and vegetables. The sauce is so healthy you could recognize it with fresh real ingredients.

Oh my gosh this place is amazing!!! I lived in Europe for a while and I can't believe I'm able to get a Turkish pizza and bomb kebab in Atascadero. I'm so happy :,)

The chicken kabobs were very good and the service was excellent. It’s so nice to have a Mediterranean restaurant in Atascadero now.

I went to lunch with my mom. I ordered the gyro sandwich and my mom ordered the chicken souvlaki. It was so good! The sandwich was one of the best I have had, and my mom's plate was filled to the brim. We will definitely be back. It was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

2nd visit for me in 2 weeks! Delicious! Do not get this confused with the Mediterranean Spice restaurant in Paso Robles! I ate there in Paso last week. Good good BUT the chicken shwarma platter there is not as good as here in Atascadero because Paso chicken was sliced off of a big skewer. Here in Atascadero they marinate the cut up chicken pieces first and then grill the chicken!! Sooooo delicious!! Give them a try!!

First of all thanks to the person who wrote the review on ND saying Mediterranean Spice was as good or better than Petra in SLO, it motivated me to check it out. They were right! It was absolutely delicious! The restaurant upon entry looks like it might be a fast food type restaurant due to the electronic menu board, but actually it is all homemade and very very fresh. I got the sampler plate which happened to be vegetarian. I feel like most restaurants can do meat well, but the veggies are usually underwhelming. I was very pleasantly surprised that at Mediterranean Spice this was not at all the case, every item on my plate was absolutely delicious. I think what set the food apart for me was how the food was spiced (as in flavorful aromatic spices not hot spices). For me the standout items were the dolmas which were exceptionally flavorful, the falafel was the best I have had (ever anywhere-they were large and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside), the grilled veggies were cooked perfectly and also very tasty, and I also thought the homemade pita bread made FRESH over a special type of dome oven was just crave worthy (not typical pita so be sure to try it). My dish was served with hummus and multiple sauces and relishes that were also all very flavorful. My friend had the gyro plate and said she also LOVED her meal. We both plan to bring our husbands on our next visit for “further menu research.”

Amazing! Finally a Mediterranean restaurant that has all the wonderful foods from the middle east. Everything is tasty, generous portions, and top notch service by the owner. We will be back here a lot!
