Hard Rock Cafe - Athens

We had a great experience at the Hard Rock Cafe in Athens. It is a cozy place with great music and there are lots of music related items on display on the walls. This is my first time visiting a Hard Rock Cafe, and I had lots of fun. I had the chicken tenders, and they were delicious! I highly recommend a visit to this place.

Always a fun time at Hard Rock, and Athens was no exception! IoAnna took care of us during our dinner, bringing a spunky and friendly atmosphere to our evening. Food and drinks were served promptly and were delicious. Thank you!

The place is amazing, they have a very large selection of drinks and food, the design and the music that plays in the place create a really fun atmosphere. The service of the employees is at a very high level and very caring. The food is varied and each person who comes is asked if he has allergies to a certain food in order to know how to take it into account. All in all, a very recommended place, those who come to Athens and don't eat there are missing out.

Cocktails and the food were great (although on the cooler side when it arrived), and the staff was kind. Too bad the birthday package isn't complimentary as it used to be (at least in many other locations)

For those like me who love this restaurant chain, Athens was a must. Excellent menu, always friendly staff, reasonable prices, located in the center of Athens. Recommended.

Yeah, I'm one of the paparazzi, but I also love great burgers and cold beer! And a gift shop! You won't be disappointed!

We felt like a burger and went to what does not disappoint. And even though we sat in a small area in the front, so less of a hard rock atmosphere, the food was great and service fast and friendly.

I've been to many HRCs around the world and I think this location night be one of my favorites! Nestled in the heart of Plaka, HRC lends a bit of the familiar with the history of ancient Greece into a delicious experience!

This was my first time eating at a hard Rock Cafe and I will say the experience was amazing. The wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and I couldn't have asked for better customer service. The food was cooked to perfection and the ambiance was amazing. Thank you for such a great experience.

Popped in whilst in the city, wanted a decent meal and a much needed drink after visiting The Acropolis. Waitress very helpful, even found a charger to charge a phone for us. Picked up a couple of glasses to take home. Staff throughout were very helpful and welcoming. Took a few photos of the memorabilia on the walls. All in all a great visit.

Very warm welcome from the staff & I really liked the layout inside. I've been to a lot of hard rock cafes and this one was very different. As well as the usual menu, they had a "local" menu too. There's quite a large shop at the front and also took to sit at the bar.

Wonderful experience! We had dinner at Hard Rock Athens and returned the day after to have a milkshake. For dinner, we sat at the front part of the restaurant that overlooks the street. Our server Georgia was very friendly and wanted to make sure we had a great dinner. Very American-style service, which is obviously part of the restaurant concept. The food was great, we both had the Bacon BBQ burger with cheese and bacon fries. We spent 10 days in Greece and after countless souvlakis, gyros and moussaka's, we were happy to have a burger! We also each had a soft drink. We paid €37 for two main courses and two drinks, which I thought was defintely worth it. It's not the cheapest place in Athens (but let's be honest, you don't expect that when walking into Hard Rock), but also not the most expensive. The prices were good for a popular restaurant in the middle of Athens most touristy area. We loved the atmosphere in the part of the restaurant we were in. The next day we returned for a milkshake in the afternoon and decided to sit at the main dining room. This part had louder music, but the theming was kinda bland beside the iconic guitars and other memorabilia, this part of the restaurant didn't give me Hard Rock feel. I recommend sitting in the front part of the restaurant (on your right when you enter) when dining here. Milkshakes were €6 each. Overall a great experience, great food and wonderful staff.

We visited for drinks. The staff were super inviting, and the atmosphere was nostalgic. Lots of memorabilia to see and the staff were able to give history and stories which made the visit much more than just drinks!

Had a very nice waiter called Nick. Aprreciated him a lot and gave us good recommendations for holiday. Food was delicious as always at Hard Rock.

Absolutely brilliant time at Hard Rock as always. Nikolaos deserves a special mention making us feel welcome, very attentive and also helped us with some local places to visit. The local menu is one of the best we have seen, I went for the BBQ chicken and ribs and my wife went for the Zeus smash burger, both fantastic. Recommended the cocktails and smokey old fashioned too.

I had my first lunch ever here and I can say i was stayed more than happy with the service and the food! Nikos our waiter was very polite and discreet to have a great overall experience!

Possibly the best GLUTEN FREE burger I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the steaks have been removed from the menu, but the remaining options are still very good. *A big thank you to Zoe.

Had a great time at Hard Rock cafe for drinks & snacks in Athens. Our party of 6 were served by Edward who was brilliant, very attentive, and brought food & drinks out promptly. Incredible service was compounded by a small list of recommendations he had for us while in Athens which we are planning to work through during our stay. Absolutely no complaints, fantastic experience.

Really enjoyed our visit to Hard rock cafe. To be honest, I wanted to avoid it and to find some authentic Greek food but my wife won over and I ended up pleased we ate here. The thing that stood out was the service. Edward was our server and he was excellent. We ordered the half price chicken dippers, he recommended some sauces to have with them. I also ordered a Tampa burger which was good also. We mentioned being in Athens and not sure what to do with our time. I felt he went above and beyond by writing down some suggestions and explaining each of them in detail. Would recommend. Got to see some Slayer and Pantera memorabilia which was a bonus.

This place was truly amazing. The food was so good and the ingredients so fresh, the staff were super nice and friendly, the service was 10/10. The atmosphere was different from other food places, if you love music you should definitely go there, trust me. Overall I loved this place so much.

Although the food was pretty expensive it was good for its money, music kinda loud sometimes but you can still talk or hear ur partner, friend there and the girl in the entrance was absolutely amazing and really kind as to how she described the menus, any allergies if we have and the special hour menus, if i recall correctly her name was Ioli. Id reccomend it to anyone if he just wants to go out for a beer or a dinner at night.

The Valentine’s Day decoration was beautiful. Warm lighting and romantic touches mixed perfectly with the rock concept of the place. Athena at the reception was very polite and welcoming, and helped us with the seating right away. Very nice overall experience.

Had a great meal today at the hard rock Cafe in monastiraki.Atmosphere was grate food was on point and the server was a very helpful polite with a exceptional smile his name was George Alex. make sure you ask for him he will make your day. I will be definitely going back! Thank you George!

The manager Mr G was so amazing and accommodating. One of the best Hard Rock Cafes I visited. The food was good and drinks were made perfectly. I loved the Lychee Martini. Their shop could use some updating. The selections were limited and the quality of some shirts seem like they would fade easily (thin fabric with silk screen). Overall it was the manager and his staff that made this place great.

I have Celiac and I was able to eat here with no issues. They offer a decent gluten free menu with various options. The burgers and fries were yummy. The atmosphere and service were good. Would recommend to anyone with Celiac or gluten intolerance.

We enjoy visiting different Hard Rock’s and today we went for dinner at the cafe in Athens. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was buzzing and the staff were so lovely. We would especially like to mention our server, Alexia. She was great, very friendly, and so patient with my awkward order!! We will return if we are in Athens again. Thank you!

Down a tiny side street. Easy to find with Google Maps but otherwise it's in a labyrinthian part of Athens, but close to the centre in Monastriki district. Close to several Metro stations. Quite a large HRC with plenty of seats and helpful staff. Food was the typical menu and always tastes good. Prices, also typical of the HRC; a little on the expensive side but very large portions.

I have to reduce my rating, not because anything was bad but because the Ambiente was Just somewhat lacking compared to the Restaurants outside. Somehow felt like you were missing out on something eating there. But as always the Food was very good and the Server very nice.

We had a reservation and were quickly sat. The staff was very nice and explained in English and Greek the happy hour menu. The foods reminded me of home (America), but could definitely be better. The cheese on the nachos was a little sweet for my liking & the macaroni was very…. different, but my Greek husband loved them. Everything else was amazing. We especially liked the mini burger appetizers. Can’t wait to visit again!

Nice Christmas lunch. Customer service was phenomenal. Sad the festive dinner was sold out. However, the ribs were delicious. Caesar sald was crisp. Cheesecake was frozen. Nevertheless, it made a great take home dessert.

First of all, one might question how fitting it is for a global venue like Hard Rock Cafe to be located in a city like Athens, which is steeped in history and still cherishes its traditions while remaining a major tourist draw. The interior design felt caught somewhere between a traditional Greek taverna and an American-style layout, which made it less enjoyable for me. The flavors were on par with those in other cities. Inside, instead of rock music, modern R&B was playing, with music videos showing on the screens. Compared to the excellent local flavors Athens has to offer, the pricing here felt on the higher side. What I found most disappointing, however, was the limited number of restrooms, which, due to heavy use, were not as clean as they should have been. That said, as in many other places in Athens, the waitstaff—key players in the service sector—were excellent here as well.

Very lively restaurant, good music, positive atmosphere, helpful staff. Clean. Not disability accessible to get to the toilet as they are upstairs. Food excellent. Good drink options. Flat access. Shop inside for souvenirs. Near ruins and flea market. Good area.

Try to visit a Hard Rock everywhere we travel. Recommend the pulled pork sandwich. Go during happy hour. Great prices on drinks. The waiter was amazing, he gave us some tourist recommendations.

Nice atmosphere and great food. BBQ Cheeseburger and Chicken tenders were good. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but we arrived shortly after the main lunch rush so that could explain it. Service was good with a friendly and tentive waiter. Price was reasonable based on quality of food, service and atmosphere.

The Messi chicken sandwich was good but it deserves too buns. Very thick. Waitstaff were helpful and pleasant. Smokey Old Fashion was tasty.

OK. I know. Not eating Greek in Greece.........we should know better. Or do we? Loved the Buffelo Wings as outside the US it is so difficult to find good one's. Truly enjoyed the meals and the great service!

Came here for lunch and got seated immediately. Rildi, the server, arrived promptly at the table and delivered the menus, he then reappered to get the order and then for almost 20 minutes no sign of life at all. Outside it was 35 deegrees celsius, hot summer day, and I was thirsty. Very thirsty. I had to go twice to the register to ask for the beverages. Even worse, burgers appeared before beverages so food started to get cold because I wanted a drink first before munching anything. Food was tasty, but service ruined my experience unfortunately. With such high temperatures, providing beverages should be a prority.

Hello, my name is Manuel and I work for Google as a Local Guide. That's why I visited this restaurant. The result: Very nice and friendly staff. Local beer for €6 per glass was also okay. But - the food wasn't good at all! A regional "local burger" isn't even offered. The alternative portion I ordered was significantly smaller than expected based on the photo. The fries were almost completely flavorless. I was finally recommended a cocktail for €20. I gave my feedback on the spot. Afterward, I realized they were out of toilet paper.

Beer was warm, could buy three cold beers on the street for the price. Chicken dry and hard, couldn't add chicken & steak had to chose one. Other hard rock cafes do it? Just charge me for it
