My first time going to a Whataburger. It was yummy! I don't live near one so I looked forward to going. I don't know what they do to their burgers but boy are they heavy! Felt like they weighed 2 pounds! I got the spicy and sweet bacon burger with a fry amd malt. So delicious! Only thing could have made it better is is they had wifi like most places do. That was disappointing. Have you considered coming to the Dayton, Ohio area?
We didn't go inside to eat, however the customer service at the drive-thru was pretty good. I was satisfied with the food for it to be my first time eating there. Although it will be nice to know that certain toppings will be an additional price when asked at the window. would you like bacon, cheese for an additional price, etc?
I felt so bad after eating it, but in a good way. I think I want to try a melt with creamy pepper sauce. I got a bite of it from my boyfriend. I personally ordered a number 4 jalapenos something burger. It was alright but the patty melt with the sauce, I memorized it because I think I would have been happier with that. Staff was friendly, service was fast and the store was clean. Great work 👏
Just ordered a sausage bowl with bacon on the side. I was upset because I didn't realize that it came with gravy. Never ate gravy with grits before. However, food was delicious. First time for everything. Service was everything very fast. Thank you. 10/10 location and bowl. Whomever made this definitely out their foot in it lol. Definitely worth the dollar. Half the bowl will fill you quick.
We tried this place for first time seeing how it was closer to our destination and we loved it and will definitely be back. Food was delicious and was made correctly the first time. Bonus points! Staff was friendly and even had someone come ask if everything was okay. The lady that brought our food was so sweet and attentive. 10/10 will definitely come back every time we come to DDs to shop from now on. Earn our business for life.
When I tell you, Whataburger on Cobb Parkway is the best Miss G she will make sure she take care of you. The store is very clean. Very nice employees. This is my favorite store to eat from. If something is wrong, she make sure she take care of her customers the correct way shout out to Miss G in hard worker
Who knew there would finally be a great breakfast and burger 🍔 place right in the heart of the Cumberland area - years in the waiting… We were at a breakfast 🍳 spot close to this one and were looking at $40 for a similar option for two of us. Went with the cooked to order “fast breakfast” and won’t even consider the other option again. Great food and amazing price. Had I not already had a large coffee ☕️ I made at home I woulda ordered the iced coffee there. This location will do high volume breakfast, lunch and dinner. With the touch screen order option and drive through they will rise to the level of demand and establish themselves as the local place to go for great fast food. Just like the one in Kennesaw on KSU 🦉 campus has. Clean, great selection, high quality service and location all make for a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟👏🏽🐺
I really like this place I come here often but my experience tonight in the drive-thru with Carla has been less impressive. Although I won’t charge it to the restaurant I do believe she needs retraining in customer service! I also listened to how she talked to another customer behind me…same attitude for no reason.
Food was ok. Fries were a little too salty. The onion rings were good. The burgers was an 8/10. Customer services was ok. It was confusing weather to use kiosk or counter. They messed up order, luckily I checked before leaving.
I wasn't particularly hungry and ordered a kid's double burger instead. It was quite large and flavorful, thanks to the sharp onions and spicy mustard. The Whatafresher was the bomb! It was at once sweet and tangy with pieces of berries at the bottom of the cup. The only drawback is that I waited 9 minutes for the drink when my burger had been delivered 5 minutes earlier.
The food is okay. It gets business because it's one of the few places anywhere it exists that's open 24 hours, the prices are reasonable, and the place is clean. Plus they serve breakfast from 11 pm to 11 am, so that's pretty great. It's worth getting the app so you can get offers for cheap or free food from day one, and if you order ahead, your food is waiting on you by the time you turn up. The strange thing about this place is that they usually charge extra for cheese. That's even stranger when you consider they'll just give you bacon on your burger for free. They're satisfactory. Salads are fresh. Fries are crispy. The standout I've had is the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Definitely get one of those with Monterey jack cheese, sausage, and egg. It's pleasant drunk food. Most people seem to order ahead, grab it, and go, so you can dine in relative peace there, even during the day. I don't even bother with the screen point of sale any more. I'd rather go have a seat, order in app, then read until it's done. This place gets my introverted night owl stamp of approval. I ordered ahead not thinking that my getting salad and fries meant they'd put my tray under a heat source so the cheese was melted. But it still tasted fine. The honey mustard was okay, I'll probably get a different dressing next time.
Being a Former Texan that loves Whataburger, this was extremely disappointing. I drive a truck around the country. I wanted a little snack. Limited time offer….. Chicken Fajitas Taco. Before I say anything else, the flavors were amazing. Portion size was great. They double paper wrap your taco. She brings out the tray and the grease is everywhere!!! Unbelievable that someone would bring that to a table, let alone leave the kitchen. I unwrapped it and just looked at it. I got up and asked for a different tortilla. I personally remade my taco. No one asked what was wrong, was there a problem nothing. It’s pretty sad you pay good money for food and this is what comes out. Very disappointing.
The food is really good when its done right, but out of the 5 times ive gone to this location, only 2 have been done well . Sometimes food will only be half filled, or they'll just prepare it wrong. Ive recieved the wrong order a few times before after waiting for 20+ minutes, and have gotten into the habit of checking here specifically before I drive off. The wait times are very long, especially late at night.
Food is good but stained with horrible costumer service! Whoever was manager on Friday afternoon 2/9/2024 was absolutely trash. I came before and order the WhatASauce, never received it, didn’t think much about it, people forget it’s fine, and I was never informed it was extra. Came in today and asked for the sauce at the window and was demanded to pay 42cents for it. I have no problem paying for sauce, but I informed her that I never received it last time in the first place. She demanded a receipt or I have to pay!! Ummmm you really gonna have a whole issue over sauce? I told her I’m good, I took the food and I was out! Not a good look for the management team, little kindness goes a long way.
I do not leave one star reviews often, let alone for a fast food restaurant but this place seems to always have issues. Even using the app to order ahead it took them over 30 minutes to bring my food out to me and the girl who brought it out was super weird and didn’t say a single word to me. When I opened the bag, the sandwich wasn’t even wrapped and the fries were dumped into the bag upside down so I had to dig through oily fries to get to my sandwich . It does not take a rocket scientist to wrap a sandwich and place fries in securely and correctly without spilling them. Let alone upside down.
After taking a break from coming to this location & I see nothing has changed… Your drive-thru staff never hands out fresh or hot fries. After waiting 15–20 minutes in the drive-thru after work or a night shift, the last thing I want is COLD FRIES! Check your fries before handing them out, because clearly no one here cares. I’m sure when you go on break, you make sure your fries are fresh and hot—treat your customers the exact same way.
If I could give a lower review I would.... They are smart mouth and slow and it takes forever. The man of your ladies that answers the phone has a smart mouth if they going to have it advertised as fast food then it needs to be fast if they can't be fast food then they need to update what they represent
We have never had positive service at the new location at the corner of Sandy Plains and Shallowford. Anytime we have placed orders through the app, it has been ready 20 to 30 minutes after the requested time, and every single time we have ordered there have been mistakes made with our food. We will not be ordering there anymore which saddens us because we were very excited to have a Whataburger in our part of town
Every single time I come here there is either an item missing or my order is completely wrong. I ordered a Cobb salad last night and they didn't put the bacon nor cheese on the salad. When I told the guy who brought me my food he said the salad comes like that which was a lie. I order their Cobb salad all of the time and they are always forgetting something on it. I went inside to speak to a manager and she had them remake it. It took over 20 minutes for me to get the new salad they made and the inside of the restaurant was disgusting! It was food all over the tables, sticky stuff all over the floor, and the counters were nasty! As I was waiting at least 3 people had to come inside to get their orders fixed correctly just like I had to. It was over 5-6 people in the kitchen just talking and moving super slow! This location is unorganized, the employees are lazy, and they are always playing around instead of preparing customers orders! I don't understand why this location is still opened and not shut down! I will never in my life come back to this location again!
Stopped in for a quick breakfast and it was anything but quick. We ordered at the kiosk and it took about 15 minutes for our food to come out, even though it was not particularly busy. My coffee did not arrive with the food and I had to ask twice before it finally showed up almost 10 minutes later. On top of that, another customer was playing his own music on high volume in the dining area. It was loud enough to be genuinely unbearable, and no one on staff stepped in or said anything. Overall, really disappointing experience. Slow service, lack of attention to basic items like coffee, and an uncomfortable dining environment. Not what I expect from a “quick” breakfast stop.
Imagine going to Whataburger for the very first time and leaving without ever getting to try it. We ordered just one burger and paid through the employee’s iPad. After waiting about 25 minutes in line, we finally reached the window—only to be told our order was never “sent” to the kitchen and that we needed to pay again, even after showing proof of the transaction in our credit card app. Staff explained that the iPad had died (apparently this “happens often” as she explained) and insisted on another payment. It took three employees to eventually locate our order, yet we were still denied service unless we paid a second time. If this happens often, I think they shouldn’t collect payment in advance or just discontinue using the iPad at all. Very disappointing way to experience Whataburger for the very first time. EDIT: Wanted to add that our card really was charged and did fully go through after pending with no food to show for it. They would’ve charged us twice in the end! Check your statement if this scenario they claim “happens often” happened to you!
I ordered for curbside pickup at 2:05 only to have to get down 15 to check on my food and another 25 to get the person on the counter to assist me. I ordered at 2:05 only to get my food at 2:44. There were so many people missing so many items to their meals. And not one manager in sight to complain to. The girl at the register was trying her best and not rude but she definitely needed more help. Oh and my order was still wrong after already waiting by 40 minutes. The entire wait was a disappointment that I was no longer craving the meal I ordered. Definitely should have corporate come in a check it out without the location’s knowledge.
