Zakia Atlanta Reviews
This was our first time here, and the atmosphere was amazing very fancy and truly screams five stars. The food was delicious and full of flavor. What made the biggest impact, and the reason we will gladly return, was the top-notch service we received from Maraki. She provided exceptional service, everything arrived on time, and she didn’t miss a beat. It was truly a breath of fresh air to experience such outstanding service. We will definitely be back. If you go, ask for Maraki.
Great restaurant! I love this place! The food is extremely fresh and I bring my clients here all the time! They have a variety of dishes for you to choose from. Miss Abby is the best waitress here she will always make sure your order is correct and is always very professional! Highly recommend!
This place in Buckhead surprises me every time! Their appetizers are amazing. The twist of middle eastern food is very unique. The selection of flavors unexpected, as well as the presentation. Staff is always friendly and anticipating. The ambience is wonderful both in the main dining area and the enclosed patio. I love returning to this place every time when in the area.
Stunning Decor & Fresh, Flavorful Flavors I visited for a girls' night and we had a wonderful experience. The ambiance is stunning—featuring a flower-covered ceiling, a beautiful bar, and plenty of seating. The service was excellent, and the drinks were a major highlight; both the cocktails and mocktails were impressive, especially the Sunset in Tyre and the Habibi Colada. The food was incredibly fresh and vibrant. We started with the quail, whipped feta, and shrimp, followed by the brussel sprouts, batata harra, and a mixed platter. While everything was delicious, the quail, brussel sprouts, lamb, and Lebanese rice were the true standouts. Highly recommend for a stylish night out!
This was my first time visiting this establishment, my husband took me for my birthday and it was amazing. I have the salmon dish, very flavorful. It's always such a great experience trying different foods. They didn't disappoint. I like the fresh pita bread and olive oil and Seasonings they bring out as an appetizer. The ambience and the place looked really nice. Would definitely go back again.
I came in for dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and the food was incredible! I got the salmon and the filet mignon. My server Avni was also super attentive and welcoming. I had a wonderful time. I will be come coming back in the future
A group of us went out for an end of year dinner and catch up session. It's such a great venue to sip and chat. There was music but it wasn't loud, and the ambiance was perfect for a night out whether it was with the ladies or a date. We fully intended to have an entree (next time) but were full from all of the appetizers we ordered. They were all a 10/10 except the cauliflower (lacked flavor). We had the hummus, falafel, whipped feta, potatoes, cheese rolls, and cauliflower. We also had the Beruit Bliss but swapped ginger ale for ginger beer. LOVED! Our service was top tier and the food came to the table quickly. We'll definitely be back individually and as a group. Thanks for a great night, Zakia!
Coming here after eyeing this spot for well over a year, I was simply wowed. We ordered the Kibbeh Nayyeh, Batata Harra, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Kefta Kabob, Chicken Tawook Kabob, and Dubai Chocolate Tart. There was also complementary bread and za’atar service. Not a single miss - in fact, most dishes were VERY notable hits. The Batata Harra was our choice dish of the night. The kabob mains were fantastic, and I especially loved the Kefta Kabob. Each main comes with rice, and we got - and loved - the Lebanese Rice and Mujaddara. For dessert, the Dubai Chocolate Tart was the perfect ending to the night. No qualms about this meal. Service was phenomenal. Interior was gorgeous. Prices overall were great. Actively planning a return!
I love Zakia. I’ve been coming to them since they opened. Never had a bad experience here, and the food is amazing everytime. Avni gave me and my sister one of the best service we’ve had here. He deserves a raise asap.
What a treat zakia is, compliments to the chef for all the amazing food, Avni did an amazing job at taking care of us. He truly elevated our dining experience. Michael also greeted us and took such special care of us. Everything was perfect. Thank you.
From the moment we walked in it was nothing short of exceptional hospitality! Hostess was so sweet and friendly, Elijah was our server and was behind great, very communicative and resolved all our questions! He was amazing! Jonathon, the owner, was probably one of the most involved owners I’ve seen who went above and beyond to make our experience great! Lastly, it was my birthday and brought out phenomenal desserts (knafeh and birthday sample dish). Truly a great place to come and experience. The hummus w meat, branzino, and kafta were very delicious and seasoned perfectly.
Just celebrated our anniversary at Zakia and can not say enough about the food and service. Excellent meal, atmosphere and service. The drinks were spot on and the food was so good. Did not disappoint. We were extremely happy with our experience. If you are looking for a special place to celebrate, this is it!
Zakia is a gem of a Lebanese restaurant. We started with the octopus appetizer—tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our mains, we tried the lamb shank, lamb chops, Branzini fish, and salmon. Every single dish was cooked to perfection with that rich, grilled flavor that makes each bite memorable. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The food was incredible: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The hummus was silky smooth, the kebabs were tender and juicy, and the pita was warm and pillowy. Every dish tasted authentic and made with care. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. This is hands-down one of the best Lebanese restaurants around, and we can’t wait to come back! Don't forget to validate your parking ticket before leaving.
My fave was their hummus and kabobs. Amazing Mediterranean flavors and drinks were on point too. Love the ambience as it's upscale but not intimidating. Just be ready to pay for an "outside-dessert fee." We were celebrating 2 birthdays and brought our cake and asked our server to cut it and put candles but was not given a heads up about the extra cost.
Amazing food and beautiful fine-dine ambience! We tried the spicy cauliflower, baba ganoush, whipped feta, and falafel balls — all delicious. Great drinks too, with the perfect Lebanese taste!
Phenomenal Service from Yanaiya & Michael! I had an incredible experience at Zakia Restaurant thanks to the outstanding service provided by Yanaiya and Michael. As bartenders, they were not only highly skilled and efficient but also warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Their professionalism and personable nature truly elevated the entire experience. The drinks were expertly crafted, and their recommendations were spot-on. If you're visiting Zakia, do yourself a favor and sit at the bar. Yanaiya and Michael will take great care of you. Service like this is rare and absolutely worth recognizing. Highly recommend!
Makayla was over the top amazing! Great service!!! Food was excellent!!! I will definitely be back here and I’m from Chicago! We chose to celebrate my birthday here and Zakia did not disappoint! Michael the manager was dope as well! Check them out!
Great food! Prices were reasonable and the restaurant was beautiful. The hummus was especially well made and the complimentary bread was very light and freshly made. The chicken kebab was juicy and tender and well portioned. The Lamb ragu hummus was a little bit on the salty side but paired very well with the bread.
i came for my birthday dinner with my girls our server michael was and he gave us the perfect experience, so clever and witty, and even knows his zodiac signs! parking was easy and the food was absolutely delicious considering it was my first time trying lebanese food. would definitely return
Everything about this place is amazing...the atmosphere, decor, service, food and drinks were top notch! The lamb ragu hummus and the octopus apps were absolutely delicious and the lamb chops, lamb shank and salmon was amazing!! The strawberry cremosa was incredible and light! Highly recommend this restaurant!
We were on a business trip and found this restaurant. What a find. The atmosphere was top notch. The service was amazing. Cole was our server and he made us feel like we were his only table. The food was the best I have ever had for middle eastern food. We live in a area were there are some amazing restaurants that serve the same options. This places food doesn't compare it's 10 times better. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was also a amazing man. He really knows how to build and run a top notch restaurant. We order almost everything on menu and everything was amazing. I would highly recommend this place 10 stars.
Wow, I had a wonderful experience my first time at Zakia a few weeks ago dining with my group! The food was delicious & outstanding presentation! Even the drinks were gorgeous, the Laila lychee butterfly martini was delicious & stunning to look at. Our server Fahtima was fantastic too, she was so attentive and gave us great recommendations, like the seasonal veggies appetizer special. And I'm so glad I got the salmon for my main course it was so delicious. The flavors and sides were so vibrant and delicious with such a beautiful presentation. I hadn't eaten Lebanese in a few years, enjoyed myself here, so can't wait to come back to Zakia! And then the decor was amazing too.
They have small plates so you can still eat things even if you are lot much hungry. Maze Trio is a good sharing appetizer plate which gives you taste of various things in one go ! Service is really good . When asked for leftovers they gave me fresh pita bread 😍 The Servers keep checking with you if you are ok. Ambiance is really nice ! Due to glass doors it gives you a outdoor feeling in natural sunlight inside 😆
Our server Micheal tonight was so amazing and kind. Very helpful helping us celebrate our friend’s birthday and made us laugh so much. The food was also delicious and I loved trying new things here.
Michael was the best waiter! He definitely made my best friends birthday dinner so enjoyable and rememberable! The host and all the waiters were so delightful ❤️
A friend recommended this restaurant, so I had to go and experience it myself. My recent visit to Zakia Modern Lebanese Restaurant was divine. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of modern elegance and inviting warmth, and classy. I ordered the lamb shank with seasonal vegetables, and it was spectacular. The lamb was incredibly tender and delicious, and the seasonal vegetables (giant broccoli) were perfectly cooked, vibrant, and very flavorful. Though the price was on the high side, every bite justified the cost. It wasn't just a meal; it was an experience of pure cultural bliss. Zakia is truly memorable for its amazing flavors, artful presentation, and top-notch hospitality. I recommend this restaurant.
Halal options! Will be back with the family again. The wagyu was outstanding — the baba ghanoush was creamy and smoky, and the freshly baked pita was authentic to the Mediterranean. We shared the charred octopus. Service was exceptional: attentive, friendly, and well paced. Our server knew the menu inside out and guided us to pairings that elevated the meal. Everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
Such a stunning spot for a date night! The ambiance is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the lavender lychee martini was a standout. I highly recommend finishing with their Dubai chocolate cake slice, it’s unforgettable.
Elegant atmosphere with good vibes for all ages to eat and hangout. Of course, the food and services were phenomenal! I went here with my husband for our anniversary and it was a perfect place! We got 4 appetizers (hummus of the day baba ganoush, grilled octopus and wrapped grape leaves) with 1 main dish (lamb chop). The hummus of the day had puffed up cheese and black rice that was so fun to eat as texture. The grilled octopus was cooked so well. It tasted like meat. The grape leaves were very flavorful and you can smell the aroma of fermented grapes). The lamb chops were our favorite as the sauce was so well balanced with the meat! The waitress and waiters were very timely and polite. It is more on the fancy/elegant place so we dressed semiformal. We will definitely come back and try all the food!
First time here and wow! Beautiful restaurant. My wife and I had a great experience from start to finish. Wade was fantastic; he walked us through the menu and provided wonderful suggestions on food and drink pairings. The food was clearly very fresh, high quality, and seasoned to perfection. Cocktails and mocktails were on point and delicious. The batata harra was sensational. I felt like the level of service provided exceeded the price point and will absolutely be back with some friends. Thanks Zakia!
We had an incredible experience here!! Roman is patient, friendly and absolutely hilarious! He kept up engaged and entertained the entire evening. It made an otherwise great restaurant, that much more fantastic. Will be back soon :)
Great food. My spouse and I really loved the Honey Harissa Salmon and the Lebanese Rice. The Salmon was very flavorful.
What a great night at Zakia! The food was incredible, the atmosphere positive energy abounded, the best part was our server, Pearl, made our evening the absolute BEST! so friendly and helpful! Pearl and Zakia are Better than 5 Star! Over the top Fantastic!
Truly a 5/5, nothing left to be desired. From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, Zakia is unmatched. I’ve tried most of the Persian and Lebanese restaurants in Atlanta, and this is by far the best. Going to become a regular stop for me.
You can judge a restaurant big just by the the food but also the care each person takes to make you comfortable. We were a large group of 30 people, and the meal was so memorable that I would like to go back on a forthcoming visiting to Atlanta. You can park at the adjoining parking garage or valet. I would recommend valet parking since it's not expensive. Great welcome at the hostess desk and we were in the restaurant area but a section of the restaurant. Decor is beautiful with a lot of glass and nice friendly decor. The service was excellent. We had a fixed menu and the fresh hot bread and Chickpea Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Labneh were excellent. I want to call out the Hazelnut Muhamarra dukka with harissa, chili oil, cilantro was out of this world. I find Mediterranean cuisine is simple yet so tasty and you feel healthy eating it. Our main course was Kafta Kebab, Chicken Tawook Kebab, Grilled Salmon with Lebanese Rice toasted almonds and vermicelli and Crispy Brussels Sprouts with date molasses. This isn't anything like what I eat everyday but it was so exotic and tasty. One of my friends with me was vegetarian and he could enjoy the throughout due to the variety. Dessert was surprise, surprise Baklava, date cake and chocolate. I enjoyed the Almaza Pilsener beer with my meal and it was light ans excellent
We had an amazing experience tonight at Zakia, and it was all thanks to Avni! From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and extremely professional. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing, and his timing throughout the meal was perfect. Avni was knowledgeable about the menu, gave excellent recommendations, and checked on us consistently to ensure everything was just right. His positive attitude and genuine hospitality truly elevated our dining experience. Outstanding customer service like this makes all the difference. We’ll definitely be back to Zakia — and we’ll be asking for Avni again!
Avni was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down. He took his time explaining the menu in detail and made sure we understood everything, which we really appreciated since it was our first time at a Mediterranean restaurant. He made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. Michael was also very kind and attentive, checking in on us and making sure everything was going well. They both truly made my wife and I feel welcome. We were celebrating our one-year anniversary, and they made it feel special. We’ll definitely be coming back.
We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was fresh and it was clearly made with effort. We actually came here for a birthday, and the restaurant did not disappoint! It also surprises us to see how fancy this restaurant was. We were treated with care and respect by our server, Avni. He did a spectacular job in assisting us because he was professional. He even recommended the perfect birthday cake for us, which made us feel welcomed. Overall, this place deserves way more hype. I’d totally come back and I would recommend it for anyone who wants good food and vibes. Make sure to ask for Avni!
I went to Zakira on Valentine’s Day, which is also my birthday. The atmosphere is great from the walk in the restaurant is gorgeous! Started off not the best our table was forgotten about. I spoke to Michael about it and he immediately was very apologetic about everything and assured that is not how they do things. He immediately corrected the mistake and was so attentive to me and my friends! It was very refreshing, and he honestly made it the greatest experience. He completely took care of me on my birthday and definitely made it special!! I will be flying back to Atlanta just to come back. I am so happy to have made a new friend! Thank you so much Michael, dinner was amazing and the service was top tier, unmatched. -Nia
Gorgeous, elevated atmosphere and genuinely delicious, flavorful, perfectly prepared food. Drinks are also well made, mocktails and cocktails alike. I have been here multiple times and the quality is a knock out each and every time. Till and Michael provided impeccable and timely service on this visit, and are great examples of the lovely service I get each time I dine here. I recommend The Branzino, Lamb Ragu Hummus, and Batata Harra.
Absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Was here with a work group and wish I lived in the area as I would be back again and again. We had alot of different items and all were fantastic, great fresh made pita, best falafel anywhere, everything was top notch - from the rice to the chicken to the drinks. If ever back in the area, this would be the first restaurant to hit!
I’ll start with what I loved about Zakia… The ambience is gorgeous perfection. It feels swanky and high end and gives off an immediate surge of abundance! The food is insanely delicious. I mean it is truly excellent chefmanship going on in this restaurant that will knock your socks right off! Once you try the lamb ragu hummus it will haunt you until you have no choice but to return for more. Same thing for the spinach and feta rolls- they are Michael Jackson “bad”! The glazed salmon entree is equally superb. Plus, the food comes out really fast. You will want to avoid being overly casual at this restaurant. Men should at least wear a polo shirt and slacks or a collared shirt with jeans and hard bottom shoes. The luxurious decor provides the perfect opportunity for women to bring out their finest dining attire. Now for the disappointing part- The waiters are far too over tasked with multiple tables to provide excellent service. I have visited 3 times so far now and each time I visited, we were made to wait 15 minutes or more before our waiter or waitress returned to find out if we needed anything which we usually did. I have grown to expect my waitress to forget requests, not because he or she is not great at their job, but because they simply are responsible for too many tables! On one occasion, we waited more than 20 minutes after finishing our meal to be offered dessert and the check. This is unfortunate as it does not align with all the other great things about this amazing restaurant.
Abbie Montes provided top tier customer service. She was full of energy, kind, and is a genuine authentic person. She served all her customers with the same level of energy with a vibrant smile! The food quality was not of the same consistency as last October2025. The tabbouleh was dry and the tomatoes were soft. The service provided by Abbie made up for the food inconsistency .
The ambience is very good. It feels good sitting there with family and having dinner. Their service was also good. Only issue i had is the quantity of the dishes was very poor. They are charging a good amount of money but in accordance to that quantity was not satisfactory. They should work on that 👍
We came for my mom’s birthday. The atmosphere and service were great. Our waitress was Feven and she was amazing. The food is good and flavorful. I would definitely recommend it.
This is a really cool restaurant. I’d probably stick to the apps as a vegetarian. The lions mane mushroom wasn’t bad but meh. We got hummus of the day which was some eggplant one, baba ghanoush, cheese rolls. All very good. I got the pomegranate mocktail also good.
We’ve been wanting to try out this establishment for a while. We received a warm welcome from the gentleman and was seated very quickly. The atmosphere was wonderful. Lots of ambiance. Unfortunately the gentlemen sitting near us were on the phone which was a distraction. The waitress was nice but wasn’t always observant. The food was very flavorful. Unfortunately the rice was not our favorite. The lentil rice was sticky and the Lebanese rice with almonds was ok. Other than that, it’s good food, great vibes and perfect for a date day.
My husband and I recently dined at Zakia to celebrate his birthday, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the wait staff was genuinely friendly, which set a positive tone for the evening. We both ordered the salmon, which was absolutely delicious. The dish came with Lebanese rice that paired beautifully with the fish. I also had a salad that was just okay, but the naan bread and hummus more than made up for it—the hummus was truly divine. In terms of food quality, Zakia is easily a 10. The only real disappointment came at the end of the meal. Since we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, I expected his birthday treat to arrive with a bit more intention. Instead, it was brought out just as we were preparing to leave, which made the moment feel a little rushed and less special than it could have been. The dessert menu itself also wasn’t very appealing to us, so we passed on ordering anything additional. Even with those small hiccups, Zakia is a very nice restaurant, and we would definitely consider returning in the future. The food alone is worth the visit, and with a bit more attention to timing on special occasions, it could easily become a favorite spot.
Surprised the reviews are so good here because it wasn’t great In my opinion and the service we got wasn’t great. We got there early for our reservation and decided to sit at the bar. They told us they would see us before our time our time came around and they still had not saw us until I grabbed the girl and asked her if we would be seated soon, and she acted surprised that I wanted to be seated at my table. Once we sat down, our waitress did come over to us and tell us she was gonna be right with us and then forgot about us for like another 10 minutes we put in drinks and food at the same time because at this point we just wanted to leave And our drinks came out 30 seconds before our food. I guess I would say the best part about this restaurant was the food, but even that wasn’t fantastic. 5/10 espresso martini tasted watered down
