Einstein Bros. Bagels Aubrey Reviews
Great place! Love the service, love the manager she’s great. The workers even though they young are very nice always welcome me always smiling they apologize if they don’t have the bagel you want if they don’t have it. Store, restrooms clean. But sometimes is sad to see people that they not nice are rude to them just because they don’t have the bagels or your order is delayed but is because they busy!!!! So sad how people talked to this nice workers are not nice to them. Just happy with this location.
I genuinely like this restaurant. The space was clean, and the food was served hot and fresh, which I really appreciated. While the service could be improved, particularly regarding wait times and some inconsistencies with pricing, overall, it was a positive experience. I’d still recommend this spot to others.
I love that location . They make the best Americano and the staff is very friendly . Amanda and her team are the best . We are always so happy to see their smiling faces .We keep going back .
Always great service and high-quality food. The store manager, Amanda, is amazing—always pleasant, with a smile that can warm up any room. I would definitely recommend this location.
best bagels ever and amazing customer service!!!! Amanda was super sweet when she took my order.
The people who work here are very friendly. Bagel selection can be limited close to closing time, but that is understandable.
Excellent customer service! There was a really difficult customer in front of me and Luna handled the situation with grace. My everything bagel and passion fruit sunrise were on point!
Austin had really good customer service! He was very positive and what made me write a review was how he wanted to make sure my custom bagel was set up how I like it given the complexity of the order!
Normally I do not post comments online but this time I wanted to do it because of the good service I receive every time I go to buy my breakfast, I could say that I am a beagle lover and in this place I always receive good service I could say from almost all the staff starting with the manager, the big surprise that I got when I wanted to post my comment was that many people as customers are not happy because of the stars they put, well I want to be very clear and I think I know why, the truth is I do not like injustice because every time I go I always see that there are abusive and cheating customers outside the store checking the orders and telling each other to fight over the free order, I personally have had to open my mout and tell them something and they pretend they don't understand me, I could say that most of the people who do not get what they want are the ones who take it out on the comments, well, I just wanted to express myself and let the owners or managers know abour that cituacion and pay more attention with that people.
10/10 I am a local and have been here many many times and they are always super friendly and professional ! Have never had an issue with an order and the place is always clean and tidy
Einstein Bros. Bagels, the beloved bagel chain, has recently opened its doors in Aubrey, Texas, bringing its fresh-baked bagels and signature sandwiches to the community. As a new establishment, it's understandable to experience some bumps in the road, and Einstein Bros. Bagels is no exception. However, despite these minor hiccups, my recent visit left me with a positive overall impression. The Aubrey location is situated in a convenient spot, easily accessible from US 380. The interior is bright and welcoming, with ample seating for both dine-in and carry-out customers. The staff is friendly and eager to assist, though they may still be getting their bearings as they navigate the new environment. When it comes to the food, Einstein Bros. Bagels delivers on its promise of fresh, delicious bagels. In addition to bagels, Einstein Bros. Bagels also offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches. While my experience at Einstein Bros. Bagels was mostly positive, there were a few areas for improvement. The overall service was a bit slow, which is likely due to the newness of the store and the staff still getting acclimated. Despite these minor challenges, I believe Einstein Bros. Bagels in Aubrey has the potential to be a great addition to the community. The fresh bagels, delicious food, and friendly staff make it a worthwhile stop for breakfast or lunch. With a little more time and experience, I'm confident that they'll iron out the kinks and provide an even smoother and more enjoyable dining experience for their customers.

I was literally mid breakdown dealing with my dogs in the car when I got my order wrong and Amanda seriously changed the whole outcome of my morning. Taking care of the misorder and even getting my pups to chill out. I haven’t come across such amazing customer service in a while that I had to write her a review. Thank you Amanda!!
Drive thru was as simple as driving your own vehicle. Easy in, painless ordering, quick pick and go. Got everything as ordered in a nicely packed, cute little box. Awesome indeed. Definitely will be visiting again.
I have nothing but great things to say about this place! The manager (ahem not a "Karen") was extremely wonderful and helpful! The girls and gentleman working here are truly amazing! They always make sure they do not touch ANY FOOD without gloves, my orders are correct, they go above and beyond and they all handle the stress of the fast food industry with absolute decorum and respect. I wanted to post the amazing work they do by showing photos, but I respect that many are MINORS... I do not approve of taking photos of minors, although some deem it necessary and this makes these individuals actually CREEPY. I wanted to give a shout out to everyone at this wonderful establishment and show some positivity! A note for some... jobs are hard, people get stressed, the food service industry is very difficult and I have to remember this when I order out...but if resorting to cursing and misbehavior as an adult is the example you want to set... maybe you should hop next door and grab a Happy Meal. Cheers to all! This team is AMAZING!
This place made my day so much better. That was my first time trying a bagel at 55 years. One of the girls was cute, but I think she’s in high school. I can’t wait to come back. The coffee was a perfect 117 degrees, (Fahrenheit) just as I requested. I dropped my phone in the toilet, and the manager let me use theirs to write this review. How nice!

We love einstein brothers bagels. This location is good and the employee's are friendly but it's sometimes hard to get their attention
The bagels taste really good and fresh! I tried a couple of flavors and they were soft on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The staff were friendly and quick with the order. The place was clean perfect for a quick breakfast. Overall, a good experience!
1st timer and I love a fresh bagel!! Service was good, they explained they were short staffed which was okay. Everywhere is short staffed in actuality, the wait wasn’t long and Mikala was the sweetest! Dined in for breakfast and ordered the “Farmhouse” egg sandwich meal with 1 egg and the shmear on the side as well as a French toast bagel. The sandwich was literally really fresh, the bagel, the egg, everything which I could always appreciate! I’d give it a 10/10. The hash brown was ok, I was more like a baked hash brown cake, 6/10. The French toast bagel was absolutely divine. I wash I would’ve got the honey cream cheese instead of the plain but it was still a 10/10. Now the price. The price is why I’m giving this restaurant a 4 star rating. Now yes everything was fresh, the service and atmosphere was good I do not like to be deceived when it comes to prices. The menu states the sandwich is 6.99 w/1 egg and to make it a meal which includes the hash brown and coffee or oj would be an additional 3.89. Walk with me and do the math, 6.99+3.89=10.88 +tax. On my receipt I was charged 8.78 for the sandwich, 1.69 for the hash brown & 3.49 for the Oj totaling 13.96 +tax. Went back to ask about the receipt pricing and was explained that’s how we’re supposed to ring it up and it’s the same when it is not when there’s almost a $4 difference. Although I had a good experience and could appreciate the food being fresh the menu and actual price not matching making this an over priced meal will be the reason for me not returning. Thank you Einstein Bros Bagels.

Shoutout to Amanda, the manager — she was absolutely AMAZING! As a mom of 3, mornings can be pure chaos 😅 and I really needed a quick breakfast pick-me-up. Amanda made the experience so smooth, friendly, and stress-free. Great service, positive attitude, and you can tell she genuinely cares about customers. Food was fresh, fast, and exactly what I needed to power through the day. This location definitely earned a repeat visit. Thank you, Amanda, for making a busy mom’s morning better! 🙌☕🥯
**Review Update: I went through the drive thru on a different day. The service was a lot better although the wait was long. The bagel this time was better but honestly, still not worth the price or hype. We have gotten bagels packs twice before and they were definitely better than ordering a single bagel. The pretzel bagel was the best! Original Review: The first time we came here, we were over charged. When it was brought to the manager’s attention, we were refunded cash instead of the money being put back on our card. The manager didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or offer to put the money back on our card. I had ordered a bakers dozen and repeated my order to the cashier three times. Once we got home, our order was wrong. Even though the order was incorrect, the bagels were good this time. Last week, I tried going through the drive through on three separate occasions. The first two times, I had to exit the line after waiting 10 minutes to order. The third time I tried, it took about 15 minutes start to finish. I ordered a french toast bagel, sliced and toasted with regular cream cheese. It cost right under $5 for the one bagel. As seen in the pictures, the bagel was burnt in most places and definitely tasted like it. I’m going to give this place one last try before calling it quits as I understand they’re still new and trying to get the hang of things. But as of right now, the service and food quality has not been worth the money or hassle.

Great food, but do not go through the drive thru. I waited 40 minutes for two basic sandwiches, a coffee and orange juice. She also gave me a chocolate shake instead of a chocolate cream cold brew. She apologized and made a cold brew for me. Sweet girl, but she seemed overwhelmed. Maybe they’re understaffed?
Nice building and location! Super clean! Can’t say that for the service and product. I love Einstein’s and I visit a lot of locations, this one needs help. I stood in line for a few minutes…alone, nobody in front of me, thought I was about to get taken care of but answering a cell phone and talking on it was more important. Drive thru taker finally took care of me and all I actually wanted was a large coffee. I got the large cup to find out there was no self service coffee available, drive thru guy took care of me once again and filled it up. Told me it might not be hot, not a huge deal, added my sugar (no creamer available either) put the lid on and went on my way. Get down the road and took a sip, it wasn’t even warm, it was cold. So $3.59 for a large cold cup of coffee. I’ll be back and I’ll adjust the review if it’s warranted, but the first time there was not a good one.
I waited a long time (20 min) for my small 2 bagel order -7 other customers came and went and I was still waiting .. when I asked about my order they said oh we're waiting on eggs -really ? Cause the 7 people behind me didn't have eggs in their bagels ... poor communication and poor management ! Won't be back anytime soon !!
I was so excited to have an EB right by my house. Unfortunately, the food at this location is terrible. Every single visit, I have been disappointed with the lack of cream cheese and the burnt bagels. I could forgive the wait time, if the food was good. Today was it for me. There are too many options for me to spend my money on poor quality.
My twice baked hashbrown was smashed and practically flat, and my brisket sandwich was supposed to be a thin and was not. Both were lukewarm.
Took my order fairly quickly. Somehow she heard the wrong sandwich; very glad we double checked before paying. Also ordered a regular bagel and they did not toast it even though I requested and I think they forgot it was butter because I had enough leftover to put on a whole second bagel. This photo was after I put some on the sandwich just to not be wasteful. Don’t think I will be returning to this location.

I have visited three times in the last month with the exact same order. I never have special instructions. Every time I order, my sandwich is made a different way (and never the way the menu states). If you are out of something, just communicate it. If your staff doesn't know how to prepare the menu, then please train them!
This place is always understaffed. There is always a long line at the drive thru. The employees messed up orders of pretty much everyone. I asked for cream cheese on the side but she sprayed it on the bagels. The food is good, but the service is horrible.

This might possibly be the slowest and worst service ever. The amount of time it took for two toasted bagels was unacceptable. The employees had zero sense of urgency and were far more concerned with their personal conversations than customer service. I stood for a very long time waiting for my call ahead order and not one person; even the manager on duty acknowledged my existence. Horrible horrible horrible! Will not be back. They bagels aren't even worth the hassle.
I’ve come here a few times and the service been slow, but they’ve been nice. Today I waited at least 15 minutes in the drive through after I ordered. Then I get my burrito and there’s EGGSHELLS in it. I heard some crunches and looked and there they were. I have never had this happen to me.
Ordered two bagels that were supposed to be toasted. Neither bagel was toasted, one bagel barely has any butter on it. Was at the same location earlier this week and sat at the window for 10 minutes, just for two bagels. Need employees that can pay attention to order details. Will avoid this location
They never get my order correct!! I ordered a sesame bagel toasted twice with extra veggies cream cheese. It was not toasted twice and no extra cream cheese. I took the top off, no cream cheese on the bottom and was not even close to being browned or warm, by this time there are 4 people in the drive thru and I don't have time to wait or go in. I check the receipt did not reflect double toasted or the extra cream cheese. This makes the 3rd time in a row, I won't be back, $5.00 for 1/2 a bagel no thanks, at least dunkin is a better option at this point unless I've got time to run to bagelology.
Horrible customer service. I asked for no ice in my drink and they filled the cup up half way. They said they would charge me for 2 drinks if they had to fill it up completely with no ice. 😡 She seemed like a manager too. That's my 1st and last visit there.
I went there this morning, when I got home I notice that they got my complete order wrong. The only thing they did right was my drinks. I attempted to call them several times but no answer. This is ridiculous, I promise you I have been going there on and off because of convenience and they always, always mess up my order 🙄 but I continued to go back, but today was the final straw I will no longer continued to get abused. Extreme? I know! But, that is how I feel. #DoBetterPlease
Edited to add that i find it hilarious the location owner responded and asked me to contact them via the webform AS IF I DIDN'T ALREADY DO THAT TWICE NOW AND NO ONE HAS RESPONDED!! If indont receive my refund by the end of the week ill be requesting a charge back. Worst location ever!! Placed an online order, my entire order was wrong, they claim that the website states they will replace out of stock items with other items but I did not find that disclaimer. They didn't give me the opportunity to choose an alternative bagel for any of the sandwiches I ordered, and didn't even give me the 1 egg sandwich I ordered, just left it out. When I pointed that out they didnt care. They didnt even tell me they had to make some modifications when I picked up my order in the drive thru, I found out when i parked to check the order. Add insult to injury, the receipt on the bag said they included a coupon but that coupon expired dec of 2024.... they could not refund me anything and the website does not have a contact number on it either, only a web form to email them. I only came here for one sandwich and that's the one thing I did not get. Staff was completely unhelpful. I will never return to this location or any location again.
I love having my breakfast at Einstein Bagels but not at this location…. Here the staff was ok but the Bagels were not good at all …I think they gave two days back Bagels….they are soooo Saggy and my Jaws were hurts for 30 min damn I didn’t seen there rating or else I would have never visit this location….
Needless to say my experience today was not the greatest. I placed an order at 10:31. About 10:52 I walked up to the counter to question my order status. I was advised they were running about a 20min wait time. Given that it was already 20min in. I continued to wait at 10:55 a lady walks over to tell me they ran out of one of the bagels I wanted. Did I want to replace it with another. I opt out and asked for a refund on one of my sandwiches. She asked me if I would like a free sandwich on my next visit. I agreed. The manger came over to do a refund and I asked how do I go about getting my free sandwich on my next visit. She explained it’s either one or the other “we either refund you or you get a free sandwich” 😳 umm excuse me but isn’t that me paying for a future sandwich. Nevertheless she made the refund and no free sandwich. I proceeded to wait for my other half of the order when yet again 10 min later I had to ask about it. They began to make it when I asked about it. This is unacceptable to be there for an hour and walk out with one sandwich and one hash brown. Not only does the manager need common sense skills when it comes to complimentary vs paying for an item. But they need order training to anticipate rushes. Per the manager “we have not been this busy” 😳 I don’t operate a restaurant but I know that being busy is a good thing and something that should be planned for. (See my receipts below)
I ordered on line... you know to "skip the lines" as advertised. I showed up at the time they said it would be ready. I asked about my food. Probably 3 or 4 times as I stood there watching them pump out food to the drive-thru and customers in line. I was there almost 30 minutes watching everyone walk in get food eat and leave. Do NOT recommend the app or ordering on line. You will be the very LAST priority. I ordered ahead of time. Planned everything. Drove out of my way expecting a sandwich waiting for me. I was late to a meeting because of this nonsense. I was kind and asked can you please stop throwing sandwiches out the drive-thru and everyone that just walked in and please take a second to make mine. Couldn't wait for this location to open. So very disappointed. Btw. This is the very first Google review I have ever done..as this has happened twice now. Lesson learned I guess .
They never get the order right. I asked for a caramel latte—they gave me a caramel macchiato instead. Ordered jalapeño salsa full and they just smeared a tiny bit on the bagel like it’s a joke. I specifically asked for two eggs, and of course, I got charged for them—but guess what? No eggs. Seriously, what the hell is going on?
TRASH TRASH AND UNHYGIENIC PLACE. DONT GO HERE….Camellia and the girl at the cash register forgot the tub of cream cheese for which I’ve to drive back half an hour and when I get there the girls showed the attitude and when I asked they said they are teenage girls. “I DON’T UNDERSTAND THIS IM A TEENAGE GIRLS” if they are getting paid like an adult they should act like a adult. They are using this TEENAGE GIRLS excuse. They are not using any gloves when handling food aswell. Please find the picture attached. Also the Manager AKA Karen she was in the bathroom cleaning and brought the trash from bathroom behind the counter where the food was there came back and taking orders without washing hands or wearing gloves. If she denies ask her to show the camera.
This store currently has a 2.8-star rating, and honestly, it’s no surprise. With this kind of behavior and poor operations, they don’t even deserve 1 star. I ordered a spinach bagel with egg, just like the other bagels listed for $6.50. This one wasn’t shown on the menu, but if the price was different, they should have told me before confirming the order. Instead, they charged me $8.59, claiming the egg alone costs $3.59 — which is absurd. When I asked for a correction, they made me wait over 30 + minutes just to get a refund, without a single apology or explanation. The staff showed no professionalism or courtesy at all.
I stopped by today and ordered two bagels and two medium sized drinks. When I arrive to the window, I got a size small. When I showed her on the receipt that I ordered a medium, she told me they don’t carry the medium size!! But then why would medium be on the receipt?? when she spoke to the manager, the window was open.. I then heard the manager, “ just tell them this is medium size.” The girl then said, but I already told them we don’t have medium size. The manager, then replied it’s fine. Tell them anyway.. I don’t understand why this location is trying to save a couple pennies on fountain drinks. Also lying that they don’t carry medium size when on my receipt there is. Here is my proof.

It’s a shame that we can’t do online order from this store. Also, they simply denied to give us any discount nor free coffee because of that same reason. Ladies in this store are nice but we won’t be back to this location until they fix this problem.
We tried this place for the first time because we wanted something different from Starbucks, and Slim Chickens was closed. We were only the third car in the drive-thru, so we expected a normal wait. Instead, it took 44 minutes to receive our food. That is an unreasonable amount of time for a drive-thru, especially when my order was just a single muffin. If drive-thru wait times are going to be that long, there should be a clear disclaimer or signage letting customers know what to expect. Even better, cars with simple orders should be pulled forward or parked to keep the line moving. Waiting nearly three-quarters of an hour without any warning defeats the purpose of using a drive-thru. Transparency and better traffic management would go a long way here. I will not be coming back at all!
I usually go to this place with my son to eat, but it's out of control. The confrontations between the cashiers and customers are getting increasingly rude, even aggressive. I'd seen customer complaints before, and nothing much happened, but these past few months, the situations have become so bad that I won't allow my son to see the cashiers and customers swearing at each other, almost coming to blows. The owner, from what I see in the comments, isn't doing anything. One time, the manager even went and hid in the office, leaving Abby to deal with the situation. There was shouting, and the cashiers said the manager had already left. I think managers are there to protect the workers, especially if they're teenagers, not the other way around. Anyway, I won't be going back. I've even talked to neighbors, and they feel the same way; they won't be returning to this place.
It took literally 20 minutes to get a couple bagels. Spent 87 years in the drive thru. You’re literally just toasting bagels and putting schmear on them. It’s so confusing why they’re so extremely slow.
