Craig O's Pizza & Pastaria Austin Reviews
The food is fantastic. We came because we were in the area so were not expecting much but wow. We got the Chicken Alfredo and a Margharita pizza and they were beyond delicious. Super recommended. We'll be back!
The food is always sooo good! And service matches the food. Lathan is such a gem and make the dinning experience even better.
I went to this location at lunch today. It has been a while since I have visited Craig O's as I live in Leander now. I had the lunch special which had a slice of pizza, salad, and a drink. I also ordered a pizza roll since they were on special. Honestly, the salad was one of the best I have had in a while. The slice of pizza and pizza roll hit the spot!!! The owner or manager was awesome as well. I don't think I ever saw him quit moving the whole time I was there except when he was taking orders at the register. He was so customer oriented as well, grabbing napkins and cutlery for his patrons. Such a great establishment with awesome food, and superb customer service. I will definitely visit Craig O's when I am in the S. Austin area again.
This review is for the CraigO's Food Truck and is an A+. Their truck was part of a week long art & music event at Willie's Luck Ranch in Spicewood, and was one of the more popular food trucks out there. The staff was very good-natured, and the pizza was served hot and delicious - just overall good vibes and prices (especially for a Luck event). We were at the event multiple days and always went back to their truck.
The food is so delicious no matter what I order and the service is excellent and the ambiance is very welcoming. They also offer delivery and catering services as well. So far, I've tried their Tuscan pizza, BBQ wings, and their shrimp pasta. (Small disclosure: not in the same day obviously) but trust me, there's a big reason for me to come back so often. Highly recommend to any foodie out there. Great place for individuals, families, coworkers, and so forth. The staff there is very welcoming and professional. If you want fresh food and right out of the kitchen, hot food. This is the place to go 1k %. The only thing I wish is that the restaurant had a bigger place because they 1k% deserve the business.
Let me go ahead and add to the pile of 5 star reviews. Came in after googling a bit from my hotel and did NOT regret it. The owner/operator is a genuine New Yorker and is as nice and hospitable as one could ask for. I treated myself to some chicken alfredo that was absolutely delicious. Was offered a free refill of garlic bread. Come check it out. You’ll be glad you did.
Great Pizza and beer! How can you go wrong? Support Craigos. Locally owned. Good people, great food. They helped support the community during tough times during COVID. FYI, they're lasagna is to die for... It is fantastic! (But it may take awhile because they do it right) Fun fact: they sweeten their sauce with carrots !
Finally had a chance to stop and try this place. Salad and Lasagna with a Cav. wine. Salad great. Lasagna was excellent. Their sauce here was very good. My friend had the chicken parmesan and chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Enjoyed everything and will return to try their pizza and fettuccine later.
Really good Pizza. I ordered the FM1826 which is topped with Brisket, Cilantro, Onion's, Jalapenos with BBQ sauce and it was delicious! I'm in Austin on a business trip and I want to send this restaurant props for sending Napkins and Plates with the order. That never happens when I order a Pizza to be delivered. Thanks for thinking of what the Customer at a Hotel needs!
Local/neighborhood vibe, which is nice and relaxed. Next to Sam's, so I grabbed some wings (on special) and a pint ($5!). Dry rub wings were great, garlic parm wings were good, both were meaty
We walked in early evening and the greeting(or lack of) was less than friendly. They looked like we were walking in 5 minutes before closing. The pizza was floppy and soggy. No color on the under carriage. I don’t know how this place stays open. Maybe the other locations are better? At least the beer was cold.
I ordered garlic bread. GARLIC. There was absolutely no garlic on that bread. Not even a hint of garlic. I had to drive all the way home and put some garlic powder on it.
I placed an order for two pizzas. The first was a medium white Italian with no red onions and replace them with black olives. The second was a large big kahuna without red onions and replace with green peppers. I didn’t open the boxes until I got home and they messed up the white Italian pizza. They did not replace the onions with black olives. The pizza was inedible for me so I called and they said they don’t do refunds but I could come back for a replacement. I was not going to drive across town for a pizza nor did I want store credit. I emailed the manager and I have yet to receive a response. I will not be going back here. The big kahuna was somehow undercooked but it had burnt crust. The quality was highly disappointing and I’ve had better pizza at CiCi’s. It also appears that they do not value customer service either. It was definitely not worth the $40 I paid for the two pizzas. I cannot not recommend this place to anyone until there have been significant changes within the establishment. It was the location on 11215 S. Order number OLO4 and it was placed approximately 5:45 on Jan 24.
