Lustre Pearl East Austin Reviews
Awesome location.. The compound is so amazing.. You must go to see what I mean about Compound. During a Zombie apocalypse this would be a good hideout, until the alcohol was gone.
Food was really good, I had the Cuban and it was delightful. Decor and ambiance is also really nice. There are outdoor games and tons of seating as well.
Burger special was okay. Had better. Girls ordered sweet potato fries and tacos. Those were very tasty. Bar service was quick and efficient. Sat inside due to cold evening. Plenty of outdoor space. I will go again soon.
Food is good and reasonably priced. I got their taco Tuesday deal which was two tacos and a beer for $10. The tacos were awesome and filling. Service is pretty great but sometimes the bar tender disappears when things are slow and there is no other way to order. Outdoor seating is great but the music is a little loud. “Indoor” seating is available but limited and they will open the sides during good weather.
When I came to visit Austin for the WEC race in September 2025, I bookmarked about 60 places. This was NOT one of them but what a sleeper! Why didn’t I see this spot before!? A great spot! Came here to watch a football game on Thursday night and had some brews. I didn’t order food just a liquid diet and it’s a 5 star from me. Great open spaces. Friendly staff. Competitive prices. Well worth the visit!
Great spot! Multiple different seating areas, good vibes, nice staff, everyone loves the food. Recommend. Never too busy and easy parking. Sometimes there’s Michelin reps giving out free beers too.
We just did a work happy hour here and had a great time. The staff (especially Melvin!) were so helpful, drinks were awesome and food was unique and delicious. Service was always quick, too! Some regulars even stopped to wish my friend a happy birthday when they noticed her cake.
This place has been my go-to spot for meeting friends for the longest time—it's laid-back, fun, and always a great experience. I recently hosted an event here, and all the attendees absolutely loved both the atmosphere and the food. The staff was fantastic, and everything went smoothly. We’ll definitely be back!
Visiting from out of town, our local friends brought us here. The 4 of us shared the loaded tots, they're great! 2 of us had burgers, I really enjoyed mine. We also had the chicken nuggets for my husband and myself and I had a couple, they were fine. My husband said his bandito taco and Cuban sandwich were ok. The atmosphere was good for us to keep to ourselves at a table indoors, but the outdoor areas looked nice for groups to hang out. Drinks were fine, beer on tap. I don't think any of us ordered mixed drinks but the selection looked decent. We were told there was stand up comedy around back but we were talking and eating so we didn't get around to check it out. We are happy that we ate here and would return.
Lustre Pearl East is a great place for a casual evening drink and food. I’m came to Lustre East hearing that it was less packed than Rainey Street and had a great vibe and I was not disappointed. There was a good size crowd here but still room for me, first at the bar and then to a table when my friend arrived. I had a couple local beers and then a mixed cocktail, and paired those with the burger and tots. The burger surprised me in a good way. Great flavor and half a pound-I came hungry but left satisfied. I paired it with tots which were crisped to perfection. Outside was spacious and welcoming and I will definitely be back.
We had a coed baby shower at the Lustre Pearl House a couple of weeks ago. The communication with the manager went smoothly and we reserved the spot a couple of months in advance. We were able to reserve the whole house, decorate and bring our own dessert. The staff helped us with any odds and ends we needed for decorating i.e scissors, water for the flowers etc. The coed baby shower took place right when the restaurant opened. This made ordering appetizers and drinks a breeze. The bartender and waiter were very accommodating to our guests and had our plethora of appetizers served perfectly on time. We had a group of 15-20 people and the space was the perfect size and there was plenty of seating. The appetizers were a big hit and we ordered one of everything on the menu. The cheese curds, loaded fries and tots, wings, boneless wings etc. Everything tasted great and was as expected and more. There are plenty of games like corn hole and foosball. The outdoor seating area would be nice once the weather cools off in Austin. I would definitely be back with a group or for a date night. Our whole group had a blast and the coed baby shower was a big success! Thank you Lustre Pearl East
here's what you need to know before coming to this location they have restrooms for separate restrooms for men and women and lots and lots and lots of seating watch sports hang out and long hours from like 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday or Sunday through Thursday and like Friday and Saturday till all the way up to a 2:00 a.m. so I ordered the chicken wings online pick up when I arrived there already ready to go was quick service at the bar If I had to go it again I would order and check out the brussel sprouts cuz that seems different unfortunately the taco I wanted to try was sold out this evening so definitely take that in advance apparently they have a brisket taco that sells out fast that being said is a very unique different space and thankfully I did not have a hard time finding parking to walk around the corner but once I entered through the entrance on the side of linden Street I was like in a whole another world with lighting everywhere compared to outside where parking around the neighborhood is like next to no lighting so just keep that in mind lots of art lots of artistic love in this place The great place to bring friends to hang out make new friends What sports can't speak for the drinks I didn't get any drinks chicken wings were not down impressive I got the lemon pepper and sweet chili for the price point oh definitely keep in mind in the future to try the different other wings like the buffalo I was pleasantly surprised though they included vegetables not carrots which I thought was a unique twist but the chicken wings bartender at the front was hospitable Not really Patel despite kind of like 50 plus people here watching the world series got to hang out with some new friends they made it was definitely worthwhile evening it definitely keep this place in mind to visit again that's something to me at home also not to be confused today little shared bar next door called the like home look renovated the praxis which does the coffee in the mornings all the way up to the afternoon so they got a place for the morning for the coffee and then the rest of the location for the rest of the day
I can hear with my sister for the A&M vs. Florida game and had a blast! And that’s coming from someone who had a ticket to be at the game! Really unique vibe and atmosphere with plenty of room. Unfortunately, the prices are regular though. Without realizing I paid $15 for one non-alcoholic beer! It is what it is though 🤷 For that same price though I got some food and it was AMAZING! Definitely coming back whenever I need a place to go!
They’ve been out of the Independence Pilsner the last 2 times I’ve been here, and Meanwhile sucks as a replacement. Today, I ordered tater tots, did NOT say I wanted them loaded, but got charged for and received loaded tots. When I got the food and realized this, I told them I didn’t intend to pay extra for loaded but I would be fine with keeping it so they didn’t have to make a new batch. They said if I wanted plain, they would take the others back and give me a new order. So I handed them back and they tossed them straight in the trash. What I don’t like is that they would prefer to waste perfectly good food to make sure I only get what I’ve paid for, when there are hungry people out there, rather than just letting me keep it and chalking it up as a mistake and a loss. Businesses that do that make me not want to patronize them in the future.
I’ve routinely come here to watch A&M games and wish we would change venues. I’ve had a few frustrating experiences that make me hesitant to order again while watching a game. I ordered a regular side of tater tots. When the food came out, it was an order of loaded tots instead — not what I ordered. I told the bartender I was fine keeping them since the mistake wasn’t mine, but that I didn’t want to pay extra for something I didn’t order and asked if there could be some kind of price adjustment. Instead, the tots were taken away and immediately thrown in the trash — meat, toppings, everything — and I was told a new order would be made. So now I had to wait again, food was wasted, and the business lost money twice for no reason. Mistakes happen. That’s not the issue. What bothered me was the unnecessary food waste and the rigid handling of a simple situation that could have been resolved easily and kindly. Watching a full plate of food get trashed instead of just adjusting the bill or letting me keep it left a bad impression. I don’t feel good supporting a business that handles mistakes this way, especially when people are hungry and food costs what it does these days.
