Sixty Vines Austin Reviews
Went to weekends in a row. Both time celebrated friends and family. Reservations are recommended unless you want to sit at the bar or high tables. The food was great. Loved their brussel sprouts, and pasta. Their eggplant dip with cauliflowers was great too!! Drinks are good and we didn’t feel rushed. Servers were really good too
We had such a wonderful time at Sixty Vines in Austin! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, modern, and buzzing with great energy. The space is beautiful and lively—perfect for a relaxed dinner or a special night out. The food was fantastic. The flatbread pizza was flavorful and perfectly cooked, loaded with fresh toppings and a delicious drizzle. The fried zucchini was crispy, light, and addictive, and the burrata dish was creamy, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite was on point. Their wine selection is impressive, and we really enjoyed sipping while soaking in the vibrant ambiance. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Overall, amazing food, great wine, beautiful interiors, and top-notch service. Highly recommend if you’re in Austin and looking for a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!
We recently visited Sixty Vines for a birthday dinner celebration, and overall it was a really nice experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for a special occasion. The service was friendly, attentive, and helped make the evening feel celebratory without being over the top. The food we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented, and the wine selection was excellent. Everything came out on time and the staff did a great job checking in throughout the meal. The only downside was that there were limited vegan and vegetarian options for main entrées. While there were a few starters and sides that could work, we would have loved to see more plant-based choices in the main dish section to make it easier for everyone in our group to enjoy a full meal. Overall, it was still a lovely birthday dinner with great service and a nice ambiance. With a few more vegan/vegetarian entrée options, it would be even better. We’d definitely consider coming back again.
What a great experience! Sixty Vines really ate with this one. Most places forget that you reserved a birthday dinner, it always seems like I have to remind them. Not here! From the hostess, to the waitress, and then the manager all wished him a very Happy Birthday and it made him feel so special. The ambiance was amazing. The food was amazing. I absolutely do not regret celebrating my son’s 21st birthday here. How you treat your guests really matters. Y'all made it an unforgettable evening. Thank you.
I came here to celebrate a friends birthday as a last minute resort for Valentines Day and we were so impressed on how quickly we were seated on such a busy evening without reservations! We were greeting and told the wait time which was quoted at 1 hr 30 min, but we were willing to wait. Within 15 minutes we were seated at a high table and serviced. Shocked because it was so busy that we thought it was going to take a while but no they were quick to get us a table which we definitely appreciated! Our service was great, we ordered drinks (they had so many options from signature cocktails, wines, spritz, and beer), the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was better than we could’ve hoped for. At the end, our waiter brought out a complementary lemon sponge cake dessert for our friend’s birthday. This night was magical filled with good vibes, great food and beautiful scenery. We ordered for drink were the Wheels up, Emily’s spicy margarita, & Garden spritz. For good we ordered the double Cabernet burger, wood grilled Bavette steak, and the filet mignon.
First visit to Sixty Vines for my husband’s birthday and Gus was amazing! ALL of the food we ordered was delicious and well portioned. Friendly service, great food, and a comfortable atmosphere. We will return!
We enjoyed our night dining out at Sixty Vines. It was very loud and since we are a couple, we were seated in a area where each couple is within ear shot of each other. We enjoyed the Old Fashioned for Two and the mussels. Both were great and flavorful. We also had the bacon wrapped dates and the fig & prosciutto pizza. They were a solid 8 and quality products. Would recommend making a reservation, very busy. 2nd Visit: Enjoyed the truffle fries. Not a typical fry but very good. Also had the grilled shrimp. It was a good dish. Came with 5 shrimp. Corn was grilled as well and in a mayo sauce.
Service by Polina was outstanding! The food is incredible. The wine selection is terrific. We enjoyed cheese, pasta and Basque cheesecake. Highly recommend Sixty Vines!
Amazing food! Our server Polina was super friendly and attentive. She also suggested options for our wine flight which were the perfect combo. Will definitely be returning soon
We had a great experience overall. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent — our server was especially attentive and friendly. The only downside was the music being quite loud, which made it a bit hard to have a conversation. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
We had an excellent experience at Sixty Vines. The space strikes that perfect balance of modern and inviting, with decor that feels stylish without being overdone. It immediately sets the tone for a relaxed but elevated night out. The menu is thoughtfully curated with just the right number of options. It offers plenty of variety without being overwhelming, making it easy for everyone at the table to find something they’re excited about. The drinks were outstanding, and the wine selection in particular is impressive. You can tell real care went into building a list that complements the food and offers something for every palate. Our meals arrived fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Every dish tasted carefully prepared and high quality, which made the experience feel special from start to finish. The highlight of the evening was Hope, who took exceptional care of us. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. Her recommendations were spot on, and her friendly approach elevated the entire experience. She is a true ambassador for the restaurant and a big reason we will absolutely be back.
Nice place. Clean and well maintained. Friendly and professional staff. Good food. Good quality and quantity. Lots verity to choose from. The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and made good recommendations. I had pasta and it was pesto flavored with chicken. It was good. The staff's recommendation helped with the board were the meat and cheese pairing worked well.
Being seated was a little slow, so make reservations, as they get pretty packed. There's an utdoor seating option with igloo dinning. Perfect as it was a little sprinkly that night. It added a nice touch to the comfortably decorated area with pillows, blanket. Super cozy. We chose to eat outdoors due to the noise level inside. The igloo dome dinning has a $200 minimum 2 hour maximum. They have a extensive wine menu. Everything eatan from beginning to end was excellent. Upbeat music selection Can't wait to visit again.
We had a group of eight tonight and walked in on a Friday without a reservation. The host team was gracious and kind. Our server was exceptional, helping those that had never been to the restaurant understand why it was named Sixty Vines and all of the beautiful ways you could experience wine. The manager, Erik, was an absolute Joy and he made certain our group had everything we needed. The vibe was electric and the food was top-notch. We enjoyed the Barada, chicken and caviar, hummus, and truffle fries to start. It was all fabulous to share, and then entrées or even more amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding experience at Sixty Vines Austin at the Domain! 20/10 From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm, welcoming, and effortlessly stylish. Our server, Jordan, deserves special recognition — genuinely one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the menu and wine selections, Jordan made every recommendation spot-on. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. The management team also deserves a round of applause. They checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and you can tell they truly care about the guest experience and their staff. That kind of leadership shows in every detail — from the seamless service to the perfectly timed courses. And the food… phenomenal. Every dish was fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. From the shareable plates to the pastas and wood-fired entrees, everything was on point. Pair it with their incredible wine-on-tap concept, and it’s an experience that feels both elevated and approachable.
Such a great place to eat and drink, a big thank you to James and Natalie behind the bar and Tyler on the floor for looking after us so well, they made our visits very enjoyable. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, however you have to be mindful of the squirrels in the trees above the outdoor seating as they are good shots with the fruit in the trees, I kid you not. The food is very tasty even if the selection is not massive, but it is well done. There is a fully open kitchen so you are able to see all the action going on. What they do have is a very large wine selection with four different measures to choose from. So you can sample a number of different grapes right up to a bottle sized carafe of your favourite. Wine is stored in large drums under the bar so bottles are not used and therefore not discarded. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.
This place is seriously awesome. Great drinks, cocktails, shareable plates. Had a great you time and great service. The mimosa bar with edible glitter is something I've never seen before. ❤️❤️❤️ Went back for their "Tappy" hour with a few people and that was great as well. You do have to go to a separate area (left for entrance) to get the happy hour prices, and so there is limited space.
I typically have lower expectations of chain restaurants but I was blown away by the service and the food at this Sixty Vines location. The atmosphere was modern and chic. Our server was the most patient, friendly and helpful server I’ve had in a long time. She offered us multiple wine tastings given our indecisiveness and was very attentive. We had the burrata shared plate. It was quite possibly the best burrata dish I have had. The bread was perfectly grilled and the basil pesto, garlic confit, and balsamic Dijon vinaigrette added a rich and savory flavor that was so decadent and mouth watering. I will definitely come back here when I’m back in town.
Went here for a team lunch and had such a great experience! We ordered pizzas, pastas, truffle fries (special shoutout—absolutely delicious!), refreshing non-alcoholic drinks, and ended with their toffee cake (a must-try). Everything was fresh and so yummy. The hostess was warm and welcoming, and the ambience is just beautiful—perfect for both casual and team gatherings. Overall, a spot-on experience!
Sixty Vines at the Domain is an absolute gem! The wine selection is outstanding — plenty of options by the glass and bottle, perfect for pairing with every dish. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, and the main entrées were just as impressive, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The upscale yet relaxed atmosphere makes it a great spot for both date nights and group gatherings. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything about the experience felt well thought out. Definitely a must-visit in Austin for anyone who appreciates great food, wine, and ambiance!
We visited on a Saturday for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised to get a same-day reservation. Mack, our server, was warm, polite, and attentive throughout the evening. For wine enthusiasts, this spot is a hidden gem—offering customizable wine flights where you can mix and match varietals. We chose a refreshing combination of Sauvignon Blanc and Prosecco. The pastas were flavorful and well-prepared. My personal favorites were the Rigatoni with sausage and the Creste di Gallo. For dessert, we tried the sticky toffee cake, which was rich and satisfying—I’d give it a solid 8/10. Overall, it was a great first-time experience, and we’re looking forward to coming back.
We visited Sixty Vines at Domain to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday. We had a reservation, but it was an extremely busy night and there was a delay getting seated. After waiting close to 40 minutes, we were being seated outside and was rudely denied inside seating but Sadie, one of the managers, stepped in and took great care of us, getting us a nice table and making sure we were comfortable. That extra effort really meant a lot and set a positive tone for the evening. We started with a few appetizers. The truffle fries were excellent—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and absolutely delicious. The pickle chips were fun and flavorful with a nice balance of sweet, salty, and sour. The chicken caviar, however, missed the mark a bit for us—the chicken was slightly salty and the caviar topping was pretty sparse. For entrées, we ordered the shrimp pasta and the pesto chicken pasta. The shrimp pasta was okay; it could have used a bit more sauce and maybe a kick of red pepper for extra flavor. The pesto chicken pasta was the standout and ended up being my kids’ favorite dish of the night. Overall, it was a good experience. The ambience was great, and aside from the initial wait, the service was on point. We appreciated how the staff handled a very busy evening and didn’t spoil my son’s special day.
Amazing atmosphere and the service was exceptional. The chicken was not as tender a I had expected. But the appetizers, brussels sprouts, fried zucchini and a pita board with beet and pea hummus, were great. Additionally would recommend having more non alcoholic opinions too. Would go again but definitely would try a different dish.
We ordered the shrimp pasta with cherry tomatoes and spinach. It was okay, the pasta was al dente, but the white wine sauce didn’t blend well. The filet mignon and bavette steak were both very good. The truffle vineyard fries were great (crispy outside, soft inside) and the house salad was fresh. The blackberry sage soda was sparkly and not too sweet, just how I like it.The cauliflower with eggplant dip wasn’t a good match; it would’ve been better with tahini, grilled garlic, and a bit of lemon. Overall was a good experience
Super cute and aesthetic inside, but the architecture makes it very loud and echo-y on a busy Friday evening. I think it would be a fun place for a group dinner, but it felt difficult to hear my date at times even though the candlelit vibe implied it should feel intimate. The food was good (highly recommend the truffle fry) and we loved the drinks! Our server Tanneth was amazing, super kind and attentive but gave us room to breathe! Thanks Tanneth!
While out shopping in the area, my family decided to check out Sixty Vines for lunch, and it was absolutely delightful! The ambiance at Sixty Vine is truly charming, with its beautiful decor and plenty of seating options. We were impressed by the simple yet delicious menu, and the extensive selection of wines definitely caught our attention. Though the food took a bit longer to arrive, every dish was worth the wait - they were all incredibly tasty and satisfying. Despite this small hiccup, the exceptional service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I personally really liked the place and already have my sights set on trying out more dishes on their menu.
Mixed experience at Sixty Vines. We ordered several items including Cresti di Gallo pasta, filet mignon, wood-grilled bavette steak, mushroom pizza, and a house salad. The filet mignon was actually very good and well cooked, and the mushroom pizza was acceptable. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The Cresti di Gallo pasta was extremely salty, to the point that it was difficult to eat. The wood-grilled bavette steak was nothing special and not worth ordering. The house salad was very underwhelming. We specifically asked for goat cheese on the side, but it came already mixed into the salad, so we had to return it. We then ordered a Caesar salad instead, which took so long that we eventually cancelled it. Service was also disappointing. We asked for salt and pepper for the steak, which never arrived, and also requested napkins, which were never brought to the table. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations. The only items that were truly acceptable were the filet mignon and the pizza. Everything else, including service, needs serious improvement.
