Sodalis Austin Assisted Living has been an absolute blessing for our family. The team truly cares about the residents, and it shows in everything they do. My elderly mother receives wonderful care there, and we have complete peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. They treat residents with dignity and kindness, not just as patients but as people. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be genuinely cared for and respected, I highly recommend Sodalis Austin.
Wonderful place for your loved one to live! Highly recommend. Amanda at Sodalis will walk you through room options. Each apartment has been carefully designed to make your LO feel at home and safe. There are so many activities to keep them active and engaged. So many positive things to say!
My husband spent the final year of his life at Sodalis. From the first moments, I was impressed. The facility is clean and bright. We were greeted by management and staff with warmth and compassion. The transition of moving a loved one into assisted living is very difficult, but the folks at Sodalis eased us along the path. Before long, my husband felt at home there and it became his safe place. At the end of his life, it was like both of us were being cared for by family. I am very grateful to everyone at Sodalis for the loving care they provided.
I want to sincerely thank Amanda, the Sales Director, for the incredible care and attention she provided during my visit. Her passion for this community truly shines through in the way she speaks, and I never once felt pressured. Instead, she made me feel supported, safe, and truly heard during such a difficult time for my family. Amanda went above and beyond by sharing helpful resources that gave me comfort and peace of mind as we navigate the next steps for my loved one’s journey. She also kindly introduced me to Edward the head Nurse and Stephanie, the Executive Director. Both were so warm and generous with their time. This experience brought me ease at a time I needed it most, and I will certainly keep it in mind when the time comes to move forward. Thank you again, Amanda, for your compassion, professionalism, and genuine care.
This place is amazing! The inside is so nice and they strive to keep a clean community! One of the best things about this place is their Activities Director (Sierra). She does so much for the residents and has compassion and love for everyone I’ve seen her interact with. If you’re thinking of sending your loved one here, just know they’re in good Hands with Sierra and she’ll keep them busy and happy!
I have been in and out of this community for the last five years and I have to say it’s something special. The residents are amazing and fun. Since they’ve had their renovation it’s like a fancy hotel in there and their courtyard is always a great place to sit outside. This is one of the few affordable assisted living communities in south Austin. Their sales director Amanda is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the families she’s working with and will advocate for them, which is pretty special.
As someone who works closely with the geriatric community, I’ve had the privilege of visiting and collaborating with many senior living community and Sodalis truly stands out. One of the key reasons is Amanda, the Sales Director. Amanda is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to helping families navigate the often difficult journey of finding the right care for their loved ones. She goes above and beyond to ensure that each family feels supported and informed every step of the way. Alongside Stephine, the Executive Director, who leads with care and professionalism, Sodalis offers a warm, secure, and nurturing environment for both memory care and assisted living residents. I wholeheartedly recommend Sodalis to any family seeking a trustworthy and loving community for their loved one.
I took my husband to Sodalis for a respite stay, as I was his sole caregiver and was burning out. They were welcoming, friendly and supportive. While at Sodalis, it became clear that my husband would not be able to return home as his deteriorating health made it impossible for me to care for him by myself. They quickly and graciously pivoted to keep him as a full time resident and worked with Hospice to make sure he got the appropriate care. In the few months he was there, they were constantly attentive to our needs. The admin was available and responsive when we had questions. The staff made a point to get to know my husband and treated us like family. He passed away in their care and I am going to be forever thankful for their support during this time!
Beautiful, spotless, great environment Attentive staff. Variety of activities every day. Also do great “special” get togethers
Sodalis Austin was a great place for my dad to live. They were kind and loving to my dad. Their facility was well kept, and the staff was professional and for all that they did for my dad. My gratitude goes out to the staff and management of Sodalis Austin. Thanks again!
Giving 5 because of the staff: Trina, Vanessa, Kevin, Ruthie, Andrea, and the many others who were so kind to our mom during her stay. Resident Assistant jobs are extremely hard and can be challenging, underpaid, but I have seen these assistants treat our mom with gentleness and dignity. This has happened even if they did not see us coming in. The care takers at Sodalis should be highly regarded because they keep Sodalis running. Thank you to each of you (those we could not remember names), we will always be grateful.
Sodalis has great staff that engage the residents and is a very peaceful place to live. I highly recommend this place for mom or dad. Sierra does a wonderful job in activities, Amanda does the tours so I would take a look at the facility to meet everyone. Shannon and Tony do a great job at answering questions when there are complaints.
As a community liaison in healthcare, I’ve worked with many assisted livings in the Austin area. Sodalis Austin has always stood out, and been near and dear to my heart. The staff are so caring and are great with the residents. Amanda/director of marketing has a lot of healthcare knowledge and it shows that she really wants her residents to have a wonderful experience in their community. Stephanie the wellness director and Antonia the memory care director are also great to work with. Sierra the activity director is amazing too! Tony at the front desk is so helpful. I also love Trina the med tech!! I could go on! I highly recommend Sodalis for your patients or loved ones!!!
The team does an incredible job engaging their residents. I met with Jewel while looking for my mother and was so pleased to learn everything they have to offer. My mother is doing great, loves the food and is so busy with activities. Thank you Jewel!

I just wanted to leave a comment in regards to the new young man Tony they have at the desk out front. Everytime I visit or talk to my grandmother I always get an earful about how handsome and kind he is. Honestly I don't believe they have ever had someone as great as him! He is always super professional and seems to have really whipped that place into shape. Whatever yall pay him it isn't enough!

Elmcroft offers respite care and my Mother stayed there about two years ago while recovering from surgery due to a broken leg. She was wheelchair bound following surgery and was able to receive regular home health visits and outpatient physical therapy while recovering there. The staff was always at hand to help her with bathing and personal care. The residents there seemed quite happy and the staff was friendly and attentive. The facility was always clean. They had planned social events and entertainment that both my parents enjoyed as my father visited daily. I appreciated the 24 hour security. The patient care staff as well as the administrative staff were easy to contact for any issues or concerns.

This review has nothing to do with how they treat their patients this review has everything to do with how they treat the neighborhood directly behind them. It's not uncommon to find their trash and medical waste supplies in the streets and or the yards of the homes and other business that border this facility. Have complained directly to management before over the years and nothing is ever changed.

Just walked into inquire about the place. I walked up to the front desk and stood there for a little bit as staff members walked by looked right at me and kept on walking. A couple of them came and stood right by the front desk chatting with each other they both made eye contact with me but didn't bother to ask if I needed help and they were very engrossed in their conversation so I didn't bother to disturb them. Seems like nobody wanted to know what I was there for. I definitely would not be leaving anyone that I care for in these people's hands.

This place is just nasty the staff is what keeps. It running management does not care about the hard over worked Employees every time I go visit my Grandmother they are always short Staffed the new ED Shannon is always talking to the employees like they don’t matter there’s always 1 person on the floor I’ve watched The poor staff do the dinning room during dinner the employees are always doing everyone’s jobs running around I honestly think the new ED is very judgmental towards her over worked Staff they do have roaches I was walking in the hallway and Seen roaches walking up The wall I’ve seen the staff running Around doing laundry dining the guy at the front desk all he does is call The staff over the walkie for The most simplest stuff he could do taking care away from my loved one I honestly love the staff the staff is what keeps this place up And running if it was not For Them I would Take my Grandmother out
