The Brewtorium Austin Reviews
Did y'all know that the Brewtorium has a private event space?! Yessss, There's a private event room, and I've booked twice for company events. It has a capacity for 10-50 guests. The Rental fee is $100/hour plus tax, gratuity & 4% Coordination Fee (Rates may differ), Customizable room setup & Optional AV equipment available with a big screen. There's also event catering available, minimum $25 pp. When I got ready to book, I submitted the event interest form on their website and was contacted within 24 by the event coordinator, Carolyn H. Let me just say, Carolyn is so great!!!!! She has helped me coordinate each event every step of the way and she is super accommodating. The food has always been so delicious. For the event we had this week, I ordered the charcuterie board, chicken salad sliders, roasted veggie sliders, bratwurst sliders and a build your own mac and cheese bar. This food is absolutely delicious. The veggie sliders are my absolute favorite. Everything is delicious!!! If you need to host an event and you would love a central Austin location, I highly recommend checking out the Brewtorium. Go to the website submit an event interest form and go from there! I've attached some pictures from our event this week for reference. Anywho, This is where I will continue to book our company events, as well as host happy hours in the main dining area! Ohhh and y'all let Carolyn know that Christina sent you 🤩
Attended a small going away gathering for some friends and was really impressed! I fall asleep if I drink during the day so I ordered an NA beer, which was tasty! My husband and our friends really enjoyed the beers they ordered. The food, though, wow! Absolutely delicious. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers -- all of which were amazing. The pretzels were perfect (loved both the cheese and the mustard dipping sauce), queso was great, hummus was fantastic and the seasonal vegan Tuscan soup was one of the best soups I've ever had. Lovely atmosphere and the bartenders were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!
The couple of beers I tried were tasty, the food was excellent, and staff were very helpful! It is great place to meet with friends, where they keep the music at a respectful level to keep you engaged and not shouting.
This place bangs. Industrial vibe thatbis wide open. Lots of seating from benches, to booths, to high tops. Very good german style beers (Munich dunkel). The menu runs the gamut of selection though, from IPA to sours (bogberry boom box). The beers we tried were very tasty. They are known for their salads and they were good. The big differentiator is that they are big, but otherwise just well done. The pretzel and the pizza dough are good, we'll developed flavor, though too tender for my taste. Could use more chew. The. Cheese dip was excellent and the mustard had some bite.
Great food! Great brews! And VIBES! Bartender was hilarious. Also, free axe throwing is unheard of… thought about keeping it a secret but the people deserve to know - definitely Austin’s best kept secret. Also don’t skip the beer tasting - great price and tried some ipa tasting Pilsner and actually really liked it! (I typically hate ipa)
Large brewery with extensive list of drink and food options to enjoy at their many indoor air conditioned tables or outdoor shaded picnic tables. As of October 2025 their happy hour is Tuesday to Thursday 4p-6p, Friday 11a-6p, and Sunday 7p-9p. The brewery also has axe throwing, a private party room, and hosts fun events like Austin Flea. For a full afternoon of entertainment, they are located next to a coffee house, a climbing gym, and just down from Blue Genie. They share a free parking lot with adjacent businesses, and there is free street parking as well.
We came here while we were on a quick trip to Austin. The service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food delicious. We had the smorgasbord and mac-n-cheese with pork belly. We had a great visit. The pretzel with queso was delicious. My review shows that the restaurant is a $50-100 restaurant. We spent that much because we had other things. I would say $10-20, or $15-30.
Good hangout spot with a spacious setup and plenty of seating. They’ve got a great selection of beers along with wine, mead, and even frozen drinks, so there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively without feeling cramped, and the staff is super friendly and quick. Food and drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but overall it’s a fun place to relax, try different options, and enjoy the vibe.
Great spacious brewery with various options! I am not a beer drinker but found items on their wine menu enjoyable. Quick and very friendly customer service. This was my first time visiting for a vendor market, and I loved the establishment! Great vibe and atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back!
I can’t believe this has been here five years and I hadn’t been to it. It’s an awesome place for anyone who enjoys good beer, a great big beer hall atmosphere, friendly barkeeps (special shout-out for Natalie!), and excellent food. I loved both hazy IPAs we tried, as well as the Belgian white with orange and cinnamon. The Brewtorious P.I.G German-style pizza was delicious, as was the apple and caramel bread pudding. We got there about 4:45 on a Thursday and the after work folks were already arriving for some downtime. By the time we left, the place was jam-packed! It’s easy to see why. There is a roomy parking lot on the far side of the building, as well as on-street parking. In cooler weather, the outdoor beer garden must be nice. To get to it, you walk down the long, long hall past the restrooms AND the axe-throwing venue. I still miss the fragrance of Butterkrust Bakery when I was driving past this building on Airport Boulevard, but if that had to go, this is a truly worthy re-invention of the venerable space. It was altogether a great time, so we will be back soon and often!
Great food. Tons of beer options, obviously. The Joe vs Avocado bowl salad was quite good. I love that they included quinoa and corn. We wanted light so we split the salad. Prices are not bad at all. You kinda have to know what to do when you walk in You go to the bar counter before you sit down. They tell you what table number to go to. You can order then, but you may want to order drinks then sit at the table to figure out what to eat. They have just 2 or 3 menus at the bar. You'll want to use the QR code on the napkin holders to get the menu at your seat. Once your party knows what they want, then you get back in line at the bar to order. After the first time, you'll get the gist.
Went here for the first time about a month ago and we really enjoyed our time. The Brewtorium has an excellent selection of beer choices and nice food options, more than just bar food. We ordered a Reuben for our meal and Cinnamon sugar pretzel for dessert, both was delicious. When we went, the inside seating was available, but we decided to sit outside. They have a large outdoor patio area and everyone, including staff was practicing physically distancing and wearing masks when possible. When a customer left, staff sanitized the table and chair for the next customer. We can't wait to go back.
Really good. Dog friendly patio. Wheelchair accessible. Very friendly staff...you won't feel crowded..good spacing. The food was delicious. The Bratwurst was amazing with grilled onions..the side of grilled potatoes was the best in Austin. I would recommend this place to others.
Pretty cool facility. We went on a Saturday and they had vendors in the morning which was nice. The building is pretty big, a few tables in the front, a bunch when you walk in. Then some in the back. There is an ax throwing area towards the back. Also a parking lot on the side with a lot of parking. The beer selection is pretty good. Ordering food was a bit confusing. The bar only shows drinks. I read the sign to say order food from the table. It made sense because they don’t show food on the sign. I think I misread the sign and you can order at the bar. But when you order food for your table the wait 30 minutes to make the food, because the think it’s to go. They should have been more clear. We waited 45 minutes for two basic kids meals. If you order from the bar I guess the food arrives quicker.
The service and the food are excellent! Grab a food menu before you get in line to order. Even if the line seems long,it goes quickly and you meet fun people in line. It's a bit loud so you might have to lean in a bit to have a conversation. I don't live close, but I'll be back!
If you’re looking for a true Austin-style spot to relax, this brewery near Airport Boulevard hits the mark. The space is big and airy with high ceilings, plenty of tables, and lots of room to spread out, whether you’re with friends, family, or kids in tow. It’s super casual and welcoming—the kind of place where you can grab a cold beer, order a sandwich or pizza, and just settle in. The vibe is lively without being overwhelming; the music is at a perfect level so you can still have a conversation without shouting. The food is solid (think great bar eats done right), and the drinks are exactly what you’d hope for in a local brewery. All in all, it’s an easygoing, fun spot to hang out—whether you’re starting your night, winding it down, or just looking for a good meal and a pint in a laid-back Austin setting.
Came here for the first time with some good friends. Beers and food are delicious, but pretty pricey. I ordered the Reuben sandwich w/ a side of fries and the Joe vs the Avocado Bowl. Both were very flavorful and delicious. For drinks, I had a Dads Joke beer which was pretty good. The staff are very friendly and fast. The place overall, is roomy and has a lot of tables and chairs to chill at. I’m not sure if they have live music all the time, but they had a some kind of swing dance performance which was super cool to watch. Large parking lot and some street parking so parking shouldn’t be an issue. This place isn’t visible on the main road.
