Dionysos Wine Bar Av. Miguel Aleman Reviews
The concept of tacos with stew is great, and the garlic tortilla is the best. We tried almost all of them and the seasoning was excellent.
Delicious. A must-visit in Campeche, a must-stop on every trip. They're always improving and surprising us. Highly recommended.
This place was fantastic! We passed it on the tourist tram and looked it up later because it looked charming. We're glad we did! They immediately asked if we wanted an explanation in English, and despite us saying they could manage, someone very kindly came and explained the entire menu in English. We ordered several tacos, and every single one was delicious! The garlic tortilla was also very good. For dessert, we had the Machito, a tortilla with fried plantains. Also highly recommended! Finally, we received the bill, which was really cheap. We regretted not staying longer in Campeche to enjoy these tacos more. Thanks 🙏
This restaurant is in an old house between the Guadalupe and San Martín neighborhoods. Personally, I think they have the best breakfast tacos in the whole city. The place is beautiful, the service is top-notch, and the flavor is unique. The owner is usually there, and you can tell the quality of the ingredients and the service is excellent. They have delicious, fixed fillings that you can customize with your own taco. You just choose the filling, the type of tortilla (garlic, blue, or chaya), and the cheese. They also have huge tortas. The price is very reasonable, and the tacos are very generously portioned. My favorite is the poc chuc negro with longaniza sausage and cheese, served on a garlic tortilla. They have a menu of specialty tacos, like the campechano, castacán, and Hulk tacos—all spectacular. They also have seasonal tacos, and to drink, they have delicious aguas frescas. We've been there several times; for four people, the bill came to $450. I highly recommend it; the food is always delicious, though it gets busier on weekends. It's definitely worth a visit.
Mejores tacos en Campeche y servicio muy amable 🧡 If you’re in Campeche, do yourself a favor and eat here! You wont regret it! They’re THE BEST 🌮
Great tacos for breakfast several different choices for tortillas Meat or vegetarian
Hands down the best food we had in Campeche, and possibly even Mexico. The food was incredible and they have their own unique way of preparing that makes them one of a kind. Our only regret is that we discovered them on our last day and not on our first. They will be top of our list of places to go should we ever return.
Very unique Tacos. I love their garlic tortillas
Excellent food. Highly recommended!
This was by far the best food we've had in Mexico yet! The service was incredibly friendly & helpful. They were also kindly willing to alter a few of the menu items to make them suitable for us as vegetarians. The rajas poblanas & habanera sauce were both phenomenal! 110% would recommend!
I’ve eaten a lot of tacos and these are some of the best I’ve had. The Especialidades were fantastic and a bit of a new twist on tacos. A must try for taco aficionados. The bomba was amazing and the Campechino, malixito and papito all fantastic as well. My only issue is that they are only open until 12:30 5 days a week, so not enough people get a chance to go there. Also we went on a busy Sunday and the service was way too slow.
Friends of the internet, I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that these were the best tacos I've had in all of Mexico, and I've been to many a place over many years. We were 4 people who all took different tacos, and they were all truly exquisite. Not a single one was just "meh, it's Ok". The texture of the corn tortillas is phenomenal, and all the stewy, meaty, and fishy fillings were fantastic. I've had cochinita MANY times, all over Merida and the Yucatan which prides itself on its cochinita, and this one was the best I had. Flavourful, delicious, juicy, yet still not heavy. Eduardo the owner came out to chat, explained the dishes, and even created some customizations based on our tastes. We only discovered El Winik because it was at the end of our street and seemed to always be full of locals, so we decided to check it out, and we were far from disappointed. Too bad it was the last day of our trip to Campeche! Even the building is gorgeous and significant, and was mentioned in our trolley tour of Campeche!! El Winik is such a hidden gem, and I cannot recommend it enough-- I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Hope to come back in the future!
Eduardo the owner is super cool. He explained everything on the menu and how they have a totally unique view on tacos. They have 5 types of amazing homemade tortillas with so many types of meat to choose from. The chicharron was my favorite! The cheese on the tacos is also the best we have had in Mexico! Also, they make a garlic crema that I would buy by the liter if I could. This places beats any pastor in the city!
Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The place is quiet and spacious. It's a good spot for an early breakfast to find a table you like and minimize your wait time. They accept cards 💳. The only problem we've had is that we've gone several times and it's been closed, but I haven't bothered to check the hours 😃 so I don't know if they're open.
Too fancy tacos
