Well it is another Starbucks. Definitely overcrowded these days. So I would recommend to use app for preorders.
I don't usually write reviews so here goes. Light ice = less drink. This one actually tasted extra strong like there wasn't enough milk. When you order a shaken espresso here, they shake it so much that half the cup is foam and then they add so much ice so most of the rest is ice. You are not getting a venti (which means 20, as in 20 ounce). I always ask for less ice because I know this store in particular tends to overdo the ice. At this one they charge extra for light ice or they forget without mentioning and just fail to fill up the cup. The amount of drink in a hot venti should equal the amount of drink in a cold venti, otherwise it isn't the same size This almost definitely doesn't. They did this to me once before but I let it slide because they added milk at my request. Also it looks like I'm not the only one with this complaint on here. Two stars because some of the staff is very friendly. I can update the rating when this drink size game ends. The extra couple ounces of milk wouldn't even equate to a drop in this busy location's bottom line, but it makes some unhappy customers. 11/15/22 - updated the review as the other people who work there are very friendly and I feel that I haven't been overloaded with ice lately.

A must-stop when you're shopping at the Aventura Mall. My only criticism is that they barely offer a place to sit and enjoy coffee.
Today Joshua was very courteous and professional. It was busy, loud and bustling; even after there were some issue with the scan, was kind enough to write when I needed him to. He was also kind enough to explain that that decaf machine was no longer working and that's why we couldn't get a decaf drink.
Store sold out of various items daily, staff is subpar

Not a fan of pushy sales associates (perfume & jewelry sales people). I had to avoid several of them just to get here to get my coffee and leave. Maybe others enjoy the experience of being sold perfumes but I like the solo shopping experience better than it being pushed on you. Plus I just wanted coffee.

Ordered a venti iced matcha latte with cold foam. Got the drink and realized they didn’t add cold foam so I mentioned it and the worker rudely said they didn’t charge for it and turned around. I was like ok whatever it wasn’t charged for but not super bothered. Then they also put coconut milk then I asked for regular so they had to remake it and weren’t very happy. I swear I was being chill just wasn’t messing w the customer service. The drink came out ok.

I don't usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but my repeated experiences at the Starbucks located inside Aventura Mall have been disappointing. At first, I thought I was imagining it. However, whenever I placed a mobile order for a Caramel Frappuccino, I noticed dismissive attitudes toward my order, including comments or reactions that felt unnecessary. Over time, my drinks also began to be made incorrectly. I usually order a tall or grande Caramel Frappuccino Blended Beverage with non-dairy vanilla sweet cream as the milk option, caramel drizzle and whipped cream as toppings, and caramel lining in the cup. While my first few orders were correct, whipped cream was later consistently left off. I assumed this might be standard for certain sizes, but when ordering the same drink at other Starbucks locations, it was made correctly with whipped cream on top. That brings me to today, Saturday, January 10 at 7:15 p.m., when I ordered my usual grande through the mobile app and again received no whipped cream. When I politely asked about it, I later realized I had misspoken: the whipped cream was not the non-dairy ingredient; the non-dairy vanilla sweet cream was the milk option. Even so, the explanation I received came with an unpleasant tone. When I mentioned that my drink is usually made with whipped cream, as indicated in the order, the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. I chose not to escalate the situation, as I work in customer service myself and try to be understanding. I had also previously read reviews mentioning similar behavior and unhelpful management at this location. Considering this Starbucks is inside a mall where prices are higher, the level of service felt especially disappointing. I stopped visiting this location for a while but decided to give it another chance due to its convenience. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve. Based on multiple visits, I won't be returning. I've included screenshots of the mobile receipt and drink customizations for reference.
Slowest service ever. Waiting for 1 coffee over 15 minutes. And it’s not busy. After all this time waiting, the order was wrong😳
First try, they simply failed to place the order at all and we waited 15 mins before realizing nothing was coming. Second attempt, they entered hot instead of iced and we discovered after another 10 minutes. The cashier who kept messing up had mid-to-lonf curly hair, didn't get his name.
I’m working in the Aventura Mall, and I order from Starbucks every day. But yesterday the chubby guy with the pony tail loose his temper and scream at me in front of everyone. He got totally mad cause I just asked if my coffee was ready. My coworker and me stopped ordering, and is shame cause we like the products.
I’m so disappointed by my experience at this Starbucks. Apparently now Starbucks charges for no ice! As they were making my drink I realize they are about to fill it with 80% ice so I go to tell the man no ice and he rudely tells me I need to pay extra for no ice?! Def, Samuel, and Alex refused to sell us anything, and they were the worst in this place. When I say they're the worst, I'm understating it. I went in at 6:59 pm, and according to them, they close at 7:00 pm, and they still wouldn't sell me two bottles of water. I repeat, they are the worst in this store at the Aventura Mall.
I always get my Starbucks here since I work in the mall. These is ridiculous, i ordered a venti and this is not even halfway. This was a pick up. I don’t know if someone drank it. The cap looks brand new. I am very disappointed with this.
Used app and requested an itemized receipt. Brandon was bothered by this simple request,had such difficulty time locating it. Attitude,overwhelmed,shrug, Disappointing experience. Placed my order today November 18 , 5 minutes before 8am and my order was completed 20 minutes later for 2 sugar plum danish with no one else in the store placing an order for food. And a burnt piece of danish is what they gave me.
I was at the starbucks in Macy’s and I ordered a pink drink that said LIght Ice the barista did it extra ice or more it passed the “decaf” box that is designed on the cup. I didn’t notice until my drink was finished I was left still wanting drink so I made the line again an ordered a drink I told the cashier what had happened SHE just looked at me and told me well your going to have to pay for the grande drink. AFTER i had just told her what happened so I did pay for it and i fill up my VENTI cup with the GRANDE drink that I had just REPURCHASED and it filled up all the way I feel as if I was getting stolen if that’s the case then I might as well order a venti cup of ice and a Grande drink to fill it up. Unbelievable

The cashier have no idea about the coffees they have . And after buying 3 coffees and 4 cakes I got charge 25 cents for tap water . I dont care about the 25 cents it's the way they treat you about it .
There’s a kid there named Andrey. Super rude. I thought it wouldn’t happen to me after seeing how he treated the customer before me…. But then I realized that’s his way of being. Very annoying. Specially cuz it’s the holidays :)
Check your purchase receipts, they may bill you more and then they will not accept your claims.
Today I went to the aventura mall location in macys and the guy at the register very happy to help good attitude, another one at the front preparing the coffee beautifully, besides others, we order a frappe and I put in the straw to find out it was all whipped cream disgusting the other guy who prepared made a mistake and continue,I don’t know if this was done in a malicious way we waited 12 minutes for this, at last it was a horrible experience too expensive and not worth it eve though thankfully they exchange it, please beware how they are preparing specially if you are taking your little ones this mistakes could be very costly health wise.
The manager named Adrian was very rude to me. I ordered a blonde coffee with almond milk and he put pretty much just milk when I told him if he could please fix it he gave me attitude and said I had to pay more. Honestly never coming back to this Starbucks.
Today it was 6:55 pm and the shop closes at 7pm..manager came up to me in the line and told me the lady in front was the last customer he was serving... I go to this shop every day because I work in the mall and this guy was just a tool. Not nice...I will not go back to this shop..Manager or assistant...doesn't have people skills..
So yesterday and today I ordered the same drink at this starbucks, yesterday’s drink was $8 for some reason? Which didn’t feel right because I have never had to pay $8 for 1 venti drink ever, today’s was $7? And no i did not tip. Not just that, the lady who made my drink hardly put any ice, it was barely cold, and she did not shake the drink either (pretty sure the same lady for the 2 days in a row), so those 2 drinks were absolutely disgusting and I’m upset that my drink wasn’t made right, usually when I get the same drink, I always see the drink being shaked and having more ice. No, I did not ask for light ice.
They closed the store 5 minutes early and kicked customers that were already standing in line out.
The first few times I didn’t review thinking it was a one off but after coming several times I won’t come to this location. Staff is rude and every time I have come they have made mistakes and been rude about fixing or wanting to up charge to correct their error.

Staff don’t listen when taking drink order and still said ok when given specific instructions on milk preference. I often repeat my order to double check but this time they clearly said ok and press something. Not until I see the barista making my drink with a wrong milk . There is for a reason a substitute milk, some people are lactose intolerant, regular milk can make someone very ill. This is happening too often with my order of just 3 ingredients in it.

I went to buy a drink that I couldn't pronounce very well, I don't speak English very well, and the cashier served us extremely poorly, very rude, impatient. I also paid with a 100 U.S. bill and he gave me the change in 1 US bills to make 50 US bills. I tried to ask him to please not give me so many 1 US bills and he was very rude and annoyed and said no. Then I went to complain to the manager, and he said he was going to call someone who spoke Spanish. He called the same person who helped me and if he spoke Spanish, that is, he didn't want to speak to me in Spanish to help me. He was very rude with his facial expressions and even waved his hands. This city is frequented by thousands of tourists, the service needs to be better and friendlier. I don't know the cashier's name, but his hair was dyed blue. I hope he receives training to provide excellent customer service.

Got ripped off i this place. Ordered 2 Doppio espresso and got less than a shot in each. When requested an explanation from the “manager” the reply was “that’s what we have period “
Supposed to open at 9. 9:20 and store still closed, no sign nothing. Had to call the store. the guy on the phone was extremely unhelpful. Had placed an online order, first he told me I had to request a refund through Macy’s which is completely wrong, then he said they couldn’t do anything in store so had to do it through the app, which is not right as you cannot cancel orders through the app. Didn’t even apologize for not being open or for my order or even try to make it right. Just straight up we’re not ready to open till 10am (an hour late), and passed the responsibility off to Macy’s and Starbuck support. Finally after 20 minutes of wait time with the phone support they finally refunded me. If you can order at another store avoid the headache. Horrible service. They need to retrain their staff in customer service.
I was in this store today and I kindly asked for water for my children from the employee who was preparing the coffee at approximately 5:00 pm and he refused to give it to me, he told me that if I had an order and I said no, since I arrived early at the mall and bought a coffee at 12:00, I felt humiliated and more because I asked for it for my children and because I know that water in Starbucks is free. The man had a sarcastic smile and I left saying that it was ridiculous.
I went to this starbucks yesterday. I had $24 something on my account. I ordered 2 drinks which came out to $12 something. After they scanned my card, they was 0.46 cents left. I asked them for the receipt and told them about the issue. The worker there was rude and just completely dismissed me and told me I have to call customer service cause they had nothing to do with it. I called customer service and come to find out that they scanned my card twice. Worst service ever. Never experienced this before.

Hello, I've been a customer here for the four years I've lived here, and I come very frequently. Today, I was treated very badly. I don't know what happened to my order, but it wasn't coming out. I saw everyone else coming in, and I still didn't have my order. My baby was crying while I waited. As a mother, it's hard enough to be patient, so I called the supervisor, and he said, "Oh, you've only been waiting 18 minutes." Then he turned away, and they continued ignoring me; there were hardly any other customers. The supervisor was terribly rude. I asked for a refund because I'd lost my appetite. Even though there weren't many people, I waited 30 minutes with my baby. The service was awful, and I won't be back. I hope this comment reaches someone who can talk to them.

Walked in 30 minutes before 8pm today Jan. 3rd. I got in line and they started shutting the cages, and yelled at me sayin "Yo Bro we not doin no more" Pretty rude experience.
They should listen better when taking customer orders. Quick service doesn't always mean better service, as it can waste people's time and cause disappointment, resulting in poor service today.
