Albert Avigliana Reviews
Dal caffè alle torte è tutto molto buono. I proprietari sono gentili ed educati, il locale è spazioso e riservato. Consigliato! Da provare i cannoli siciliani, strepitosi!
A charming, well-attended place, with a perfectly preserved and equally beautifully maintained 1970s design that's truly unique. The added value, along with the setting, is the longtime owners, who are incredibly kind and professional, true gentlemen of yesteryear in every way. The best bar and ice cream shop in Avigliana since 1978, with a truly extensive, delicious, and equally enviable selection of gelatos and semifreddos. Congratulations!
Fantastic place. Thank you so much the owner who gave us the transfer late at night to Chalet del Lago Avigliana. Very kind people with an open heart. Grande grazie! Highly recommend!
very nice. on the road coffee time
Best ice and coffee !!
Cercavo una pasticceria nei dintorni ho trovato questo bar che ha un sapore retrò nel l'arredamento ma che non mi dispiace inoltre vi consiglio i cannoli siciliani che sono hanno fatto davvero una bella figura con gli amici
Without infamy and without praise, a bar run by a very polite elderly couple, I can't judge beyond a coffee, even if the environment is not trendy or super stocked it is a bar where you can find refreshment if you are in those parts
Ok
Good gelato with a decent selection of flavors, some original. Fast service, average prices, highly recommended. It's a shame the comfortable outdoor seating area doesn't have a wall to block the constant noise of cars passing just a few meters away.

Vintage place :) The welcome is a bit cold... 3 euro sandwiches are perfect for eating by the lake. I'd give it 4 stars if dogs were welcome inside (I don't think I've ever seen a bar where they weren't allowed).
Nothing exceptional, a creamery bar without too many pretensions. However, it has been around for about three decades, so you can see that it is popular even if it is not exactly in a panoramic area despite being a short distance from the large lake. It is fine for a coffee on the go. Honestly, I no longer know what the ice cream is like, it has been a while since I ate it there.
Sconsigliatissimo! Molto meglio la gelateria/pasticceria Panicco a qualche metro piu in alto proseguendo su corso Laghi.
I didn't like it. It's actually more of a bar than a creamery. I went there with my wife on a Sunday afternoon, convinced she might enjoy a good bowl of ice cream. She had gelato, and I had a shaken iced coffee. Her gelato wasn't the best, and the cream wasn't very firm. My coffee was just a cold coffee, with ice and a frothy appearance. We've crossed that place off our list.
It doesn't even deserve a review, considering that dogs aren't allowed inside... they gave us dirty looks even before we entered, since I didn't immediately notice the no-dogs sign. There are plenty of people out with dogs, and preventing them from entering just because they have a dog is a backward and forced mentality. I'm glad I didn't go in, especially since, from what little I glimpsed, the place leaves a LOT to be desired. If I'm ever in the area again, at least I know where NOT to go.
The ice cream is decent, and the profiteroles are excellent. But the atmosphere is dated, not exactly spotless (the ashtray on the table is always dirty, and the table itself isn't cleaned of crumbs and debris left by previous customers), and a bit shabby. Either we modernize it or we make it "vintage" from the '70s, with Formica and all, but there's a difference between vintage and decrepit. Two factors in particular are absolutely demeritorious: 1. Dogs are not allowed, and in 2022 this is truly an exception; almost all establishments have now changed their rules in this regard. 2. The owners are so cold it sends chills down your spine. They NEVER smile, they have no manners, they greet you through their teeth and don't even look you in the eye. Anyone who runs a public establishment must have a minimum of savoir faire. We all have problems and sorrows, so if the owner is feeling down that day, he might as well keep the place closed. Because when I treat myself to a moment of relaxation with a cappuccino or gelato, I don't like seeing sullen faces and dealing with rude manners; it makes me anxious. I'm not saying I want to be treated like a sultan, but the place is still standing thanks to its customers, and it would be a good idea to learn a basic level of courtesy. And since the gelato isn't made by Cracco, why would I want to go back to a filthy place, where they treat me condescendingly, as if I were doing them a disservice by going there? Come on.
Dirty and poorly stocked place, they practice discrimination!! Instead, she deserves my counter-response: When we asked her for two take-out coffees, she didn't want to make them!!! If this isn't DISCRIMINATION!! I hope she's realized her mistake and has the humility to apologize instead of arrogantly believing she's right! I advise her to think for herself!! Italy is going badly because people like her allow all kinds of nonsense!!! Wake up!
